Episode 300: Power Rangers SPD: Katastrophe

In the lab Kat and Boom are working on an experiment when Birdie appears on the video screen.

"Dr. Manx" said Birdie

"Supreme Commander Birdie" said Kat "to what do I owe this pleasure?"

"I want to offer you a position at SPD Galaxy Command" said Birdie "as our chief scientist"

"I don't know what to say" said Kat "may I have a couple of days to consider it?"

"Of course" said Birdie "but don't take too long" and he vanishes. Boom rushes out to find the B-Squad

"Supreme Commander Birdie just offered Kat a job at Galaxy Command" said Boom

"No!" said Sam

"Does she want to go?" Sydney asked

"I think she does" said Boom

"She'd be happier there" said Sky

"Then we should support her" said Jack and then alarms go off and they rush to the command center

"Cadets" said Kat "a robot is attacking the city"

"SPD SWAT!" said Jack "SWAT, RED RANGER 1"

"SWAT, BLUE RANGER 2!" said Sky

"SWAT, GREEN RANGER 3!" said Bridge

"SWAT, YELLOW RANGER 4!" said Z

"SWAT, PINK RANGER 5!" said Sydney

"FORCE FROM THE FUTURE!" said Sam "SPD OMEGA RANGER VI!" and they go over to some emergency chutes that take them to the Zords

"RED SWAT FLYER 1!" said Jack

"BLUE SWAT FLYER 2!" said Sky

"GREEN SWAT FLYER 3!" said Bridge

"YELLOW SWAT FLYER 4!" said Z

"PINK SWAT FLYER 5!" said Sydney

"OMEGAMAX CYCLE VI!" said Sam. The Delta Base opens up and the Zords rush to the battle.

"SWAT MEGAZORD!" said Jack

"OMEGAMAX MEGAZORD!" said Sam and the Megazords were formed. The Megazords battle the robot

"According to scanners" said Z "nobody is piloting the robot."

Elsewhere, an alien named Mooney is remotely piloting the robot while analyzing the Megazords' moves.

Back at the Megazord, the SWAT Megazord carries the robot into space

"SWAT CANNON!" said Jack and the SWAT Cannon is formed "FIRE!" and the blast destroys the robot. "Power Down" and the Zords disassemble, return to the Delta Base, and the Rangers eject and demorph.

In the command center, Cruger and Kat are talking

"Have you decided whether or not to take the job?" Cruger asked

"Yes" said Kat

Later, in the command center, the B-Squad and Sam are waiting when Cruger and Boom walk in

"Dr. Manx took the job at Galaxy Command" said Cruger

"What?" Sam asked

"When does she leave?" Bridge asked

"She is already gone" said Cruger "Kat doesn't look goodbyes. Boom will be taking over Kat's duties"

At Galaxy Command, Kat lands the ship she took and exits, greeted by Birdie.

"I'm glad you accepted the job" said Birdie and he points to a young woman standing by him "this is your assistant"

"I've got your schedule all figured out" said the assistant "there's a staff meeting in an hour…"

"Staff?" Kat asked Birdie

"You will have the galaxy's top scientists at your disposal" said Birdie

"But I like to get my own hands dirty" said Kat

"That's not how we do things here" said Birdie

At the Delta Base's lab, Boom is struggling when Kat pops up on the screen

"Kat!" said Boom "how are you?"

"I'm fine" said Kat "what's that smoke behind you?"

"I'm having a barbecue" said Boom

"In the lab?" Kat asked

"Yeah" said Boom

"I'd question it more" said Kat "but I've got to go" and the screen turns off. Alarms go off and Boom rushes to the command center, only to notice that Cruger, Sam, and the B-Squad are already there

"Sorry I'm late" said Boom

"A robot is attacking" said Cruger "get the Zords online for the Rangers"

"Yes sir" said Boom and he goes over to a terminal

"SPD SWAT!" said Jack "SWAT, RED RANGER 1"

"SWAT, BLUE RANGER 2!" said Sky

"SWAT, GREEN RANGER 3!" said Bridge

"SWAT, YELLOW RANGER 4!" said Z

"SWAT, PINK RANGER 5!" said Sydney

"FORCE FROM THE FUTURE!" said Sam "SPD OMEGA RANGER VI!" and they go over to some emergency chutes that take them to the Zords

"RED SWAT FLYER 1!" said Jack

"BLUE SWAT FLYER 2!" said Sky

"GREEN SWAT FLYER 3!" said Bridge

"YELLOW SWAT FLYER 4!" said Z

"PINK SWAT FLYER 5!" said Sydney

"OMEGAMAX CYCLE VI!" said Sam. The Zords try to leave, but the Delta Base doesn't open up

"Boom" said Jack "open the doors"

"I'm trying" said Boom and he hits a button and the Delta Base finally opens and the Zords rush to battle.

"SWAT MEGAZORD!" said Jack

"OMEGAMAX MEGAZORD!" said Sam and the Megazords were formed. The Megazords battle the robot, but it matches their every move.

At the Delta Base, Cruger checks in on the battle

"How's the battle going Boom?" Cruger asked

"Not well" said Boom "the Rangers are getting their butts kicked"

At Galaxy Command, Kat sees footage of the battle

"That robot is being powered by a Helios Generator" said Kat "but that means…" and she rushes off to find Birdie "Supreme Commander Birdie"

"Yes Dr. Manx?" Birdie asked

"I was watching the Earth's Rangers fight" began Kat

"Earth's Rangers are no longer your concern" said Birdie

"but I know who is responsible for that robot" said Kat "my old classmate Moonie. Maybe I can talk to him"

"Sometimes actions speak louder than words" said Birdie as he pulls out a silver box and hands it to her "my best scientist needs to be able to defend herself. There's only one problem: all the ships are taken"

"I can use the project my team has been working on" said Kat "it is capable of space travel"

"Then go" said Birdie as Kat races to her new lab to grab the new vehicle her team built. She gets in and takes off.

In New Tech City, the robot knocks the Rangers out of their Zords, forcing the SWAT Rangers to demorph to normal mode. Their Delta Morphers begin beeping and Jack answers it

"Rangers" said Cruger "use the Delta Runners"

"But Commander" said Jack "if the SWAT Flyers couldn't beat the robot how could the Delta Runners?"

"They can't" said Cruger "but we don't have a choice. Sam return to the Delta Base to serve as backup"

"On my way Commander" said Sam and he summons the Uniforce Cycle and returns to the Delta Base. The Delta Base opens up and releases the Delta Runners.

"RED DELTA RUNNER 1!" said Jack

"BLUE DELTA RUNNER 2!" said Sky

"GREEN DELTA RUNNER 3!" said Bridge

"YELLOW DELTA RUNNER 4!" said Z

"PINK DELTA RUNNER 5!" said Sydney

"DELTA SQUAD MEGAZORD!" said Jack and the Megazord is formed. The Megazord gains the upper hand at first, but when the robot adapts to its fighting style, it begins to lose again.

At a beach outside New Tech City, Mooney is watching the battle when he hears a voice say "Turn off the robot Mooney"

"Its good to see you again Kat" said Mooney "but I'm afraid I can't do that"

"Leave now or face the consequences" said another voice and Kat turns to see Broodwing as he releases Krybots. Kat fights them and holds her own, but can't defeat them and disable the robot.

"Birdie was right" said Kat "There's a time for talk and a time for action" and she pulls out the silver box that Birdie gave her and opened it and pulls out its contents, the Kat Morpher "SPD EMERGENCY! SPD KAT RANGER 99!" and she proceeds to destroy the Krybots "KAT STUNNERS!" and she eliminates the Krybots. Broodwing tries to strike Kat in the back when the Shadow Saber stops him and he turns to see the Shadow and Omega Rangers

"Is that you Kat?" Sam asked

"Yes" said Kat "I'll explain later" as Broodwing releases more Krybots "Sam, Doggie, hold off the Krybots. I'll disable the robot"

"Right" said Cruger and they battle the Krybots as Kat enters the cave

"Out of the way Mooney" said Kat

"You won't be able to disable it in time" said Mooney as he steps out of the way and Kat types in the terminal

"I already have" said Kat

"But only the advanced AI" said Mooney "it will still be able to fight and it is much more powerful than the Delta Squad Megazord you built"

"I'll defeat it in my Zord" said Kat

"You have a Zord?" Moonie asked

"I do now" said Kat as she begins to walk off

"I'll just re-enable the AI when you leave" said Moonie

"JUDGMENT TIME!" said Kat "You are charged with attacking New Tech City" the Kat Morpher flashes between innocent and guilty before landing on guilty. "Containment Mode" and she hits a button on her Morpher that contains Moonie and she grabs the card and races to her vehicle "SPD BLAST BUGGY, ONLINE!" and flies to battle and blasts the robot

"Who's that?" Jack asked

"It's Kat" said Bridge

"DELTA BLAST MEGAZORD!" said Kat and the Blast Buggy combines with the Megazord "FULL BLAST ACTION!" and the attack destroys the robot

"Power Down" said Jack and the Zords disassemble, return to the Delta Base, the Rangers eject, and demorph

Elsewhere, Sam and Cruger finish off the Krybots

At the exit of the Delta Base, Kat is preparing to leave when she is intercepted by the B-Squad, Sam, and Cruger

"You're not leaving this time without saying goodbye" said Sam

"We better let her go" said Sky "Galaxy Command can't run itself without her"

"I'm sure they're fine" said Kat "How's everything going?"

"Fine" said Cruger as Boom runs up and get down on his knees before her

"Please come back" said Boom "everything that could go wrong has gone wrong since you left. And a few things that couldn't go wrong"

"Actually Kat" said Sydney "we are at a loss as well"

"I guess I'll have to tell Birdie that I'm needed here" said Kat "now Boom, why was my lab on fire earlier…"
