Episode 303: Power Rangers SPD: Badge
One day the B-Squad is patrolling the city, Jack and Z together, Bridge and Sydney together, Sky by himself. Out of nowhere an alien attacks Sky
"So you are one of Cruger's Rangers" said the alien
"You know the Commander?" Sky asked and the alien blasted him "SPD EMERGENCY! SPD, B-SQUAD, BLUE RANGER 2! DeltaMax Striker" and he battled the alien
"Ocean Saber!" said the alien and he pulled out a sword similar to the Shadow Saber and stuck Sky, knocking him unconscious. The alien then uses the Ocean Saber to cut off Sky's SPD badge before he demorphs.
At the Delta Base, Kat checks in on Sky and remotely accesses his Delta Morpher to discover that Sky is unconscious. She sends the C-Squad, led by two cadets named Jay and Irving, with the medics to go get Sky. He is taken to the infirmary while Cruger and Kat look over him.
"Why would anyone take his badge?" Kat asked
"At the Academy" said Cruger "a badge is a symbol of honor and taking it is a warning"
"A warning for what?" Kat asked
"I don't know" said Cruger "we better let the rest of the Rangers know someone appears to be hunting for badges"
While Sydney and Bridge are patrolling their Delta Morphers go off
"Cadets Carson and Sydney" said Cruger "Cadet Tate has been attacked. Return to the Base"
"On our way Commander" said Sydney and they are blasted by the alien that attacked Sky
"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Bridge "SPD, B-SQUAD, GREEN RANGER 3!"
"SPD, B-SQUAD, PINK RANGER 5!" said Sydney
"DeltaMax Strikers!" said Bridge
"Ocean Saber!" said the alien and he struck them both, knocking them out. He used the Ocean Saber to cut off their badges before they demorphed. Kat quickly detected they had been hurt and sent the C-Squad and medics to bring them to the infirmary. Cruger then calls a meeting with the remaining Rangers in the command center
In the command center, Jack, Z, Sam, Cruger, and Kat are meeting and Cruger pulls up a hologram of the alien
"The rest of the B-Squad has been attacked by Icthior" said Cruger "he was an old rival of mine at the Academy. He fought dirty and unfairly. He was not just my rival with the sword but also for the affections of Insinia. Icthior was eventually expelled from the Academy. He seems to be out for revenge against me and anyone who serves under me. He is a master swordsman. Now I want us to split up and search for him. Be on your guard Rangers. Jack, you take Z and RIC with you, I'll take Sam with me"
In New Tech City, Cruger and Sam are looking for Icthior when Sam hears a noise and wanders off where he is confronted by Icthior.
"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Sam "FORCE FROM THE FUTURE! SPD OMEGA RANGER VI!"
"Ocean Saber!" said Icthior
"Omega Morpher: Muscle Mode!" said Sam and he tried to catch the blade, but even the Omega Morpher isn't powerful enough to stop it and he's knocked back. Icthior uses the Ocean Saber to cut off Sam's badge before he demorphs.
"How dare you attack a child!" screamed a voice and Icthior turned to see the Shadow Saber
"You finally showed up, Doggie!" said Icthior
"Shadow Saber!" said Cruger
"Ocean Saber!" said Icthior and they duels, Cruger knocking Icthior back.
"JUDGEMENT TIME!" said Cruger "You are charged with attacking officers of the law" the Patrol Morpher flashes between innocent and guilty before landing on guilty.
"Don't you remember the promise you made Insinia?" Icthior asked
"I promised to never strike anyone in anger" said Cruger
"Ocean Saber!" said Icthior and he struck Cruger as he was off guard. He took Cruger's badge before he demorphed. Sam stirs enough to call for help for himself and teleports Cruger back to the infirmary.
In the infirmary, Sky, Bridge, Sydney, Sam, and Cruger are in bed while Jack and Z look on.
"Don't go looking for Icthior" said Cruger "when we're all better we can take him together"
"But Commander" said Jack
"That's an order" said Cruger and he rested. Jack and Z head to the vehicle bay with RIC and take an SPD Jeep to the quarry where they call out Icthior. He shows up along with many Krybots
"We're in trouble" said Z
"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Jack "SPD, B-SQUAD, RED RANGER 1!"
"SPD, B-SQUAD, YELLOW RANGER 4!" said Z
"SPD BATTLIZER!" said Jack and RIC opened up and released a red version of the Omega Morpher. He twists the throttle "CYBER MODE ACTIVATE!" and RIC releases armor that is placed on Jack's suit as well as giving him a laser sword. "BATTLIZER, SONIC MODE!" and RIC combines with him, creating powerful armor "BATTLIZER, MODE 2, COMPLETE!"
"SPD SWAT!" said Z "SWAT, YELLOW RANGER 4! Delta Enforcer!" and she fights the Krybots
"Duel me Icthior" said Jack and Jack and Icthior duel. Icthior is better with the sword, but Jack has superior armor, not mention sends a wave energy out with every swing of his sword.
On Grumm's Ship, Grumm is watching the battle
"With SPD and Broodwing distracted" said Grumm "I can take the Hymotech Synthetic Plasma now. Morgana, go take some Krybots to the New Tech Laboratory and get the Hymotech Synthetic Plasma for me. If you succeed I will return you to your younger form"
"On my way" said Morgana and she teleported to Earth with some Krybots.
At the Delta Base infirmary Sky, Bridge, Sydney, Sam, and Cruger are in beds and are being watched by Drs. Felix and Manx, as well as Avon. Cruger is trying to contact Jack and Z on his Patrol Morpher.
"Cadets Landors and Delgado come in" said Cruger "no response, not that I was expecting one. We need to track them down, they're probably fighting Icthior"
"You're going no where" said Felix "you're not well enough to stand, let alone fight, so stay put" and he leaves
"I'm not listening to him" said Sam as he tries to get up
"You are too" said Avon, pushing him back into bed "you are far too hurt to be out and about"
"Avon" Cruger said
"Yes?" Avon asked
"Can you get me a glass of water?" Cruger asked
"I guess" said Avon and she left
"Let's go" said Cruger and he and the others begin to get up
"But Dr. Felix said to stay put" said Kat
"I heard him" said Cruger and they back their way to the garage.
"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Cruger
"SPD, B-SQUAD, BLUE RANGER 2!" said Sky
"SPD, B-SQUAD, GREEN RANGER 3!" said Bridge
"SPD, B-SQUAD, PINK RANGER 5!" said Sydney
"FORCE FROM THE FUTURE!" said Sam "SPD OMEGA RANGER VI!"
"DEFENDER OF THE GALAXY" said Cruger "SPD SHADOW RANGER 100! Delta ATV!"
"SPD Jeep!" said Sydney as Sky, Bridge, and her get in
"Uniforce Cycle!" said Sam and they all race to the battle. When they get there they see Jack in a duel with Icthior while Z is being overwhelmed by Krybots. Sky, Bridge, Sydney, and Sam go over to help Z while Cruger goes to help Jack.
"Ocean Saber!" said Icthior and he struck Jack, knocking RIC off of him, but Jack was still standing "Impossible"
"Miss me?" Cruger asked as he struck Icthior with the Shadow Saber "Landors, go help the others"
"Yes sir" said Jack and he went to the other battle "Delta Blasters!" and he blasted some Krybots.
"Shadow Saber!" said Cruger
"Ocean Saber!" said Icthior and the two attacks exploded against each other, sending the Ocean Saber and badges flying.
"What about your promise to Isinia about not striking in anger?" Icthior asked
"I am striking for justice" said Cruger "and don't you dare ruin my memory of her"
"You think Isinia is gone?" Icthior said "Is that what they told you? Isinia is alive!"
"I won't let you get to me" said Cruger "SHADOW SABER: CONTAINMENT STRIKE!" and he contains Icthior and sheathes the Shadow Saber. He then picks up the Ocean Saber. The rest of the Rangers destroy the Krybots and then all return to the Delta Base.
In the command center, Kat is debriefing the Rangers
"While you guys were gone" said Kat "the New Tech Laboratory was robbed. I tried to get their in time, but I didn't make it" and then Avon marches in
"Sam!" yelled Avon "you tricked me!"
"It was the Commander who tricked you" said Sam
"But you shouldn't have left" said Avon "I don't know what I'd do if something happened to you"
"You're such a drama queen" said Sam "besides, I'm fine" and then Avon punches him in the shoulder "Ow!"
"No you're not" said Avon "it's time to take you back to the infirmary" and she drags him out of the command center
On Grumm's ship Morgana gives Grumm the Hymotech Synthetic Plasma and he turns her back into Mora. Later Mora is playing with her doll when she wanders into Grumm's room and is terrified by what she sees. Grumm later brings her back to his room
"I'm going introduce you to the Omni" said Grumm and he shows her Omni, changing her. She takes her doll and goes over to the balcony
"Playtime's over Susie" said Mora and she tosses it into the lava below.
