Episode 321: Power Rangers Miracle Force: Dark Wish: Part II

In Briarwood, the teens exit a tree as the black cloud consumes the city.

When the smoke clears, Briarwood has been transformed. The color is gone and Necrolai is leading Hidiacs and Styxoids.

"Oh no!" said Madison

"The Rock Porium!" said Nick and he points at the ruins of the Rock Porium

"Toby?" Vida asked as Toby walks up with a shopping cart

"Hey guys!" said Toby "who's the new guy" pointing at Nick and they all laugh "no, seriously who is he?"

"What happened?" Madison asked Toby

"About four months ago" said Toby "the Darkness came and took over. They banned music and even managed to get rid of color. But I've got this" and he takes out a music box and begins playing it. A Hidiac hears it and comes over and smashes it

"Hey!" said Nick and he reached for his Morpher "My Morpher's gone"

"Mine too" said Madison and they look to see if they dropped their Morphers

"Let's go to Rootcore and see if Udonna knows what happened" said Nick and they head into a tree, but Nick just bangs his head into it "I guess we'll take the long way around"

In the Underworld, Imperious is celebrating

"I did it" said Imperious

"Yes you did" said Necrolai "but may I ask why you didn't simply wish to change the entire universe's memories"

"All wishes come with a price, Necrolai" said Imperious "and I did not want to pay a price that high" and he continues to watch the teens "hey genie, why do the Rangers remember?"

"The source of my Power is the Morphing Grid" said Jenji "and the Rangers had been recently morphed, thus protecting their memories"

"I actually think this is better" said Imperious "the Rangers still have their memories of what they once were, which they can torment themselves with. Plus my new pet wouldn't be as fun without his memories" and he gestures to a cage

"You won't get away with this" said Daggeron from within the cage "wishes always come with a price"

"Yes they do" said Imperious "and I'd pay just about any price for these" and he pulls out a box and opens it, revealing the five Miracle Morphers and the Solar Cell Morpher "once I figure out how to use these, I can focus on taking over the rest of the world, and then the universe"

"No!" said Daggeron

In New Tech City, President Bush bursts into the command center of the Delta Base, flanked by the Lightspeed Rangers and Tommy

"Commander Cruger" said Bush "what is going on in Briarwood? We're getting reports of a dark dome over it and the surround areas. The American public is in a panic"

"We're trying to figure it out Mr. President" said Cruger

"We know what it is" said Angela

"Mrs. Rawling" said Cruger "please tell"

"The demons have somehow managed to use the Morphing Grid to twist Briarwood into their own image" said Angela

"What can you do to stop it?" Bush asked

"If that's the case" said Kat "not much"

"Why?" Bush asked

"Because the Rangers' Powers come from the Morphing Grid" said Kat "and that dome is Powered by the Morphing Grid. As soon as a Ranger enters the dome, it will short circuit their Powers and force them to demorph. They won't be able to re-morph until exiting the dome. It's similar to the effect that Zordon's wave had"

"Wait" said Tommy "John's Powers have a special exception built into them that survived the Z-Wave, could they survive the dome?"

"Probably" said Kat "but he'd be alone and because all of our equipment is based on the Morphing Grid, we can't detect anything in it, so he'd being going in blind"

"I'll call him up" said Tommy "he'd probably be up for some reconnaissance. Meanwhile we need to secure Briarwood's borders. Captain Mitchell, can you send some Lightspeed troops and maybe a Ranger or two?"

"Sure" said Ryan "Mrs. Rawling, would you lead the troops?"

"Sure" said Angela "I am the Demon Hunter after all, none will escape"

"Excellent" said Tommy "Commander Cruger, could you spare a squad and some Rangers?"

"Yes" said Cruger "I'll have Sam and Avon with the C-Squad"

"You better send Boom too" said Kat "or else those two will be preoccupied with each other"

"Good" said Tommy "Mr. President, could you spare some troops?"

"I'll send some Army troops and some Air Force troops" said Bush

"May the Power protect us" said Tommy

As the teens near Rootcore, they see it lies in ruins. Xander goes through the rubble and picks up a piece of the Xenotome

"What happened?" Madison asked as Udonna approaches them

"Go away" said Udonna

"But we're the Miracle Force" said Nick

"No warriors came to create the Miracle Force" said Udonna "I waited and waited and waited and only Darkness came. I tried to hold it off, but my Powers were destroyed" and Clare approaches

"Clare!" said Madison

"Who are you?" Clare asked "please, leave us alone" and the teens walk off. Koragg jumps down from above and the teens get in a fighting stance, but Koragg draws his sword and stabs it into the ground

"I want to help you" said Koragg

"I don't believe you" said Nick and he grabs the Wolf Sword and tries to swing it at Koragg, but the others stop him

"It can't hurt to listen" said Madison and she takes the Wolf Sword from Nick and holds it out to Koragg, who takes it and sheathes it in the Wolf Shield

"What is the last thing you remember before all this happened?" Koragg asked

"50 Below and Fightoe stole our genie" said Nick

"Imperious must have wished that everyone's memories would be changed as if the Miracle Force never existed" said Koragg "let me help you reverse the wish"

"Why should we believe you?" Nick asked

"Because the Beasts fight without honor" said Koragg "and those who fight without honor, die without honor"

"So you want Dark Magic to win, but only if it's done nicely?" Nick asked

"Without honor, victory has no meaning" said Koragg "There is a counsel of the most Powerful angels on another planet. They can reverse the wish but I cannot accompany you, as I am without my magic."

"We'll accept your help" said Nick

"Very well" said Koragg "follow me" and they follow him into the woods until they see Fire Heart

"Fire Heart!" said Madison and she rushes up to him, but he roars at her "but we raised you since you were an egg"

"You never found the egg and never raised him" said Koragg "I did. Fire Heart, take them to the Counsel" and they get on Fire Heart and he flies away "Go with honor"

"Were those the ones you told me about" said Phineas as he walks up

"Yes" said Koragg "our alliance is over" and he walks away

"Goodbye old friend" said Phineas

Outside of Briarwood, John, Angela, Boom, Sam, Avon, and the various troops have assembled a perimeter.

"Are you ready John?" Angela asked

"Yes" said John

"Be careful" said Angela "once you're in, there won't be any communication in or out, nor will there be any backup"

"I understand" said John as he takes out his Power Ruby

"May the Power protect you" said Angela

"PHANTOM POWER!" said John "PHANTOM RANGER HERE AT YOUR SERVICE" and he morphs into the Phantom Ranger. He turns invisible and the Rangers watch as a Phantom Ranger shaped ripple appears in the dome as he walks in

"Now the rest of you" said Angela "Sam, Avon"

"We're here!" said Avon skipping up dragging Sam by the hand

"I want you two and Boom to go to the other side with the C-Squad and the Army…" said Angela

In the sky above Briarwood, Fire Heart creates a portal, but Necrolai attacks them before they can go through. Fire Heart and Necrolai battle in the air, but neither side can't get the upper hand. A purple blast of energy appears and knocks Necrolai out of the sky. Fire Heart flies through the portal which closes behind him

"Where did that blast come from?" Necrolai asked herself "and more importantly, why was it colored?"

On a planet far away, which has a giant desert, a portal opens and Fire Heart flies out, drops the teens off and flies back through the portal. The teens wander, but are stopped by a warrior and the teens get in a fighting stance

"Wait" said Xander "It's time for Plan Xander. G'day, the name's Xander. We arrived on a dragon and are looking for the Counsel"

"You are headed in the right direction" said the warrior "but to get there, you must defeat all the warriors that tried to get to the Counsel and failed" and many warriors rise up and the teens fight them. It is difficult, but the teens eventually beat them all. The original warrior hands Nick a key and vanishes. They begin walking again and come across a white door and a black door.

"Which door do we use?" Nick asked

"Let's just try one" said Madison and she grabs the key from Nick and opens the white door, which reveals the Rock Porium in full color

"Let's go" said Xander

"Wait" said Madison "I know it sounds strange coming from me, but if this door leads right back to where we started I don't think its the door for us"

"I agree" said Xander "it doesn't sound like you"

"I agree with Madison" said Nick "we can't continually take the easy way out like we've been doing. It's like Udonna and Daggeron have been telling us, everything comes with a price and taking the easy way now will have a high price later" Madison closes the white door and opens the black door, revealing a vortex

"What if this leads to something worse?" Chip asked

"Then it leads to something worse" said Nick and he goes through and the others follow. They emerge in a massive white room, with five figures in front of them, each one wearing what looks like a Ranger suit. The Counsel was lined up from left to right wearing pink, yellow, red, blue, and green. Behind the Counsel were statues of the Firebird, Griffin, Dragon, Unicorn, and Lion respectively. Each Counsel member has white armor on their suit, each with a colored gem in the center, their helmets have extensions on them, and each are holding a staff shaped like a lion.

"Congratulations" said the Red Ranger "you are the first to make it this far in centuries" the teens walk towards the Counsel, each standing across from their counterpart "We are the Counsel. We are Zordon's first team of Rangers, now known as the Ancient Rangers"

"My name's…" said Xander

"We do not care for names" said Jonas

"Maybe you should take this one" said Xander to Nick and Nick tells them of the story so far

"We humbly request that you reverse the wish" said Nick

"Who's fault is it that you ended up in this situation?" Michael asked

"It's no one's fault" said Nick "it just happened"

"You say it's no one's fault" said Miriam "but yet it sound like you continually broke the oath you took as Rangers. An oath Zordon Himself created I might add"

"Everything comes with a price" said Seth "It sounds to me that this is the price of your irresponsibility"

"Get out" said Jonas and they begin to walk out

"Wait" said Deborah "what would you do if you had your Powers back?"

"Fight Imperious" said Nick

"Restore Briarwood" said Xander

"And Rootcore" said Madison

"Get my cape back!" said Chip and the rest look at him "what? I miss my cape"

"Let us discuss the situation" said Michael and they gather around and talk for a few minutes and then break up "You fought well and presented your case eloquently. However, we will not grant your request"

"Why?" Nick asked and Michael waves his hand they teleport away in colored light and appear in Briarwood

"I can't believe we went all that way and lost" said Vida

The Counsel is watching them

"Don't give up" said Deborah

"That's all humans ever do when things get tough" said Seth

"I think we made the right choice" said Michael
