Episode 344: Power Rangers Operation Overdrive: Lights… Camera… Dax!

At the Base, Andrew is telling the Rangers minus Dax about the TransTek Armor. Dax soon walks in.

"I got an audition for an acting job" said Dax "not as a stuntman, but as an actual actor"

"You can't take that part" said Andrew "we need you here"

In a forest outside of San Angelas, Moltor summons a monster called Scaletex to find Kamdor and Miratrix

In a sea cave, Kamdor and Miratrix are trying to decipher the Scroll

At the Hartford Mansion, Rose catches Dax trying to rehearse lines from the movie Ninja Romba

"Why are you rehearsing lines from a movie you can't be a part of?" Rose asked

"Because I think I'm good enough to get the part" said Dax

"Mr. Hartford only said you couldn't be in the movie, he didn't say you can't audition, just turn it down if you get it" said Rose

Outside the Sea Cave, Kamdor and Miratrix and attacked by Scaletex and Lava Lizards

In San Angelas, Dax shows up for the auditions and saves the director's life. The director offers him the lead and Dax accepts.

At the Base, Andrew alerts the Rangers of the battle between the villains

At the movie shoot, Dax is about to film his first scene when his Tracker goes off and races to the battle.

Outside the Sea Cave there is a three way battle between Kamdor and Miratrix, Scaletex and the Lava Lizards, and the Rangers. Kamdor and Miratrix break off and run back in the Sea Cave, followed by Dax, followed by Scaletex. Kamdor creates a cave in, trapping Dax and crushing Scaletex.

"Drive Vortex!" said Dax and he escapes through a hole in the sealing.

At the Base, the Rangers minus Dax meet with Andrew

"Anyone know where Dax has been running off to?" Mack asked

"I do" said Andrew "he tried out for that movie"

"How'd you know that?" Rose asked

"Because Hartford Studios is producing the movie" said Andrew

At the movie shoot, Dax begins filming

Elsewhere, Kamdor and Miratrix are regrouping

"That was close" said Miratrix

"Too close" said Kamdor "the other villains have an unfair advantage with their foot soldiers. I think it's time we get some of our own"

At the movie shoot, Dax realizes he was wrong to take the shoot and quits, returning to the Base. After he leaves, Kamdor and Miratrix arrive and put the stuntmen under a spell, as well as turning a camera and an amplifier into monsters

At the Base, Dax apologizes to the team

"I'm sorry I took the role and haven't been here for you guys" said Dax "and I especially apologize to you Mr. Hartford, for disobeying your orders"

"I accept your apology" said Andrew "but there will be consequences later"

In San Angelas, Kamdor, Miratrix, and their troops attack. Moltor and the Lava Lizards show up as well, followed shortly by the Rangers. Moltor and Kamdor battle each other, while the Rangers try to battle everyone, but have to be careful not to hurt the stuntmen

"Rangers" said Andrew "I'm sending the TransTek Armor"

"Guys" said Dax "you hold the stuntmen back, I'll take on Kamdor, Moltor, the Lava Lizards, and the monsters"

"Right" said Mack and the TransTek armor shows up

"TRANSTEK ARMOR!" said Dax and he jumps in. He destroys the monsters and the Lava Lizards "ARMOR MODE!" and he forced Kamdor to drop the Scroll and forced Kamdor, Miratrix, and Moltor to retreat and the stuntmen revert to normal. Dax jumps out of the TransTek Armor and grabs the Scroll

"Power Down" said Mack and the Rangers demorphed and returned to base

At the Base, Andrew is giving Dax and Rose their punishment

"Dax you will clean all the bathrooms in the mansion" said Andrew "and Rose, you will help him, for encouraging him to disobey my orders"

"That's not so bad" said Dax "how many bathrooms could there be?"

"Twenty-Seven" said Mack
