Episode 345: Power Rangers Operation Overdrive: Face to Face: Part I

At the Base, Mack is pestering his dad and Spencer

"Dad, this is ridiculous" said Mack "You've been working on the new Zord 24/7. You've got to take a break"

"Your pleads fall on deaf ears" said Spencer

"The Sonic Streaker can reach Mach 2 in under 30 seconds" said Andrew "It can meet Mach 3 in under a minute. It has the most advanced weapons I've ever designed"

"I'll get you a sandwich" said Mack

"I am the one that gets sandwiches around here" said Spencer "you don't see me in a shiny red suit"

"You'd be a great Red Ranger" said Mack

"Yes I would" said Spencer as he leaves to get a sandwich

"Let me give you a preview" said Andrew and the Sonic Streaker appears on the screen

"That Zord is awesome" said Mack

"And it's for you" said Andrew as Spencer walks back in with two sandwiches

"I've got to go tell the others" said Mack and he grabs a sandwich and races off

"I do make a good sandwich" said Spencer as he eats the other one

At Antartica, Flurious calls Moltor

"I heard you have the Parchment to the Second Jewel" said Flurious

"No" said Moltor "but I will"

At the Hartford Mansion, Mack is telling the others about the Sonic Streaker as Rose tries to decipher the Parchment.

"I can't translate it" said Rose "but I know a professor at Cambridge who can"

In Moltor's Volcano, several Lava Lizards bring him a prisoner

"Tyzonn" said Moltor "I need you to go help Bullox get something from me. If you do, I'll give you what you want"

"Fine" said Tyzonn

In Cambridge, the Rangers arrive in the SHARC and go see a professor

"Professor Ryan" said Rose "can you decipher this Parchment for us" and they are blasted by Tyzonn and Bullox "are you okay?"

"Yes" said Ryan

"OVERDRIVE, ACCELERATE!" said Mack and he hits the Sun Button and spins the wheel down his arm "KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, RED RANGER!"

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, BLACK RANGER!" said Will

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, BLUE RANGER!" said Dax

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, YELLOW RANGER!" said Ronny

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, PINK RANGER!" said Rose

"CALL TO ADVENTURE!" said the Rangers "POWER RANGERS OPERATION OVERDRIVE!" and they chase the villains outside. During the battle, Tyzonn drops a bag and fragments of a crystal fall out and he picks them up. Mack and Tyzonn fight over the Parchment and tear it in two. Tyzonn and Bullox teleport away. Dax notices a piece of Tyzonn's crystal and grabs it. The Rangers go back in Cambridge to talk to the Professor, with Andrew listening in via the Trackers

"We lost most of the Parchment" said Rose "but can you translate what is here?"

"Yes" said Ryan "it's incomplete of course, but it appears to say something about the Toru Diamond and the Corona Aurora"

"The Toru Diamond must be the Second Jewel to the Corona Aurora" said Andrew

"Thanks for the help" said Rose

"We are all so proud of you here" said Ryan

"Maybe when this is all of over I can teach a class on it" said Rose and the Rangers get in the SHARC and return to the Hartford Mansion

At the Hartford Mansion, Dax scans the crystal fragment with his Tracker, which reads "0"

"There's nothing special about this crystal" said Dax

"I wonder why the monster wanted it so badly" said Mack

At Moltor's Volcano, Tyzonn and Bullox turn over the Parchment to Moltor

"It's incomplete" said Moltor "get the rest of it and I'll give you what you want"

At the Hartford Mansion, the alarms go off, alerting the Rangers of an attack

At San Angelas, Tyzonn, Bullox, and Lava Lizards are attacking

"Look at all the destruction" said Bullox "isn't it wonderful"

"No" said Tyzonn "and can't we wait until the civilians are gone"

"That's what makes it fun" said Bullox as the Rangers run up

"OVERDRIVE, ACCELERATE!" said Mack and he hits the Sun Button and spins the wheel down his arm "KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, RED RANGER!"

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, BLACK RANGER!" said Will

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, BLUE RANGER!" said Dax

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, YELLOW RANGER!" said Ronny

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, PINK RANGER!" said Rose

"CALL TO ADVENTURE!" said the Rangers "POWER RANGERS OPERATION OVERDRIVE!"

"Drive Lance!" said Mack

"Drive Slammer!" said Will

"Drive Vortex!" said Dax

"TRANSTEK ARMOR!" said Ronny

"Drive Geyser!" said Rose and they battle the villains and Lava Lizards. A piece of concrete falls towards a young woman, but Ronny uses the TransTek Armor to stop it. Tyzonn runs up to the young woman

"Get to safety" said Tyzonn

"Help!" said the young woman

"TRANSTEK ARMOR: ARMOR MODE!" said Ronny as the TransTek Armor transforms and she blasts Tyzonn back.

"I don't think he was trying to hurt her" said Mack "I think he was actually trying to help her" as Bullox helps Tyzonn up "What do you want?"

"Give us the rest of the Parchment" said Bullox

"Stay alert" said Mack as he goes up to Tyzonn "Power Down" and he demorphs "you're not like the rest, are you?" and then the other Rangers use their OO Zip Shooters to tie up Bullox, but the Lava Lizards free him. Tyzonn takes off running and Mack runs after him. Mack and Tyzonn battle

"Leave me alone!" said Tyzonn and he knocks Mack down and runs away. Tyzonn approaches a pond and sees his reflection, crying out as Mack watches silently. Tyzonn smashes his foot in the reflection

"Take it easy" said Mack

"Stay away" said Tyzonn

"Who are you?" Mack asked

"I'm no one" said Tyzonn "and I will be killed when Moltor finds out I failed to get the rest of the parchment"

At the battle, the Rangers prepare to finish off the Lava Lizards.

"DEFENDER VEST!" said Dax as the armor forms around him "BLUE SUPER OVERDRIVE RANGER! DRILL BLASTER: TRI LASER!" and he summons the the Drill Blaster and fires it, turning Lava Lizards to cement "DRILL BLASTER: DRILL!" and he turns the Drill Blaster to Drill Mode as the other Rangers brace him "FIRE!" and the blast destroys the Lava Lizards.

In the woods, Mack continues to talk to Tyzonn

"We both need the whole Parchment" said Mack "but we're both unwilling to budge, so we both lose"

"Why does everyone want that Parchment anyways?" Tyzonn asked

"You don't know?" Mack asked "it leads to the Second Jewel of the Corona Aurora.

"The Corona has been found?" Tyzonn asked "it Moltor gets his hands on it, all will be lost"

"Give me the rest of the Parchment" said Mack "and we can stop Moltor"

"No" said Tyzonn and he walks away

At the city, the Rangers battle Bullox, but lose as Tyzonn walks up

"Leave them alone!" said Tyzonn

"Did you get the rest of the Parchment?" Bullox asked

"No" said Tyzonn "and you're not going to get it" as Moltor appears "I no longer care about our agreement"

"I'll show you what happens to traitors" said Moltor and he and Tyzonn fight. Moltor ends up wounding Tyzonn as Mack comes up and knocks Moltor away

"OVERDRIVE, ACCELERATE!" said Mack and he hits the Sun Button and spins the wheel down his arm "KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, RED RANGER! Drive Defender!" and he duels Moltor as the others fight Bullox, but are losing "let's get out of here" and Mack and Tyzonn run off, chased by Moltor and Bullox, who are chased by the other Rangers.

In the woods, Mack and Tyzonn lose the others and Mack bandages up Tyzonn.

"Thanks for saving me" said Tyzonn "I've brought shame to my planet for helping Moltor. I want to help you" and he pulls out the Parchment and Mack pulls out his piece and the two pieces repair each other.

"I think I should get you back to the Base" said Mack and they head out, but are trapped by Lava Lizards
