Episode 354: Power Rangers Operation Overdrive: Once a Ranger: Part I

Outside of museum in San Angelas a monster brings Kamdor and Miratrix a ruby.

"That's not one of the Jewels!" said Kamdor and he tosses it away, but Miratrix catches it

"I'll take it" said Miratrix

"Give it back" said a voice and they turn to see the Overdrive Rangers.

"Drive Defenders!" said Mack

"Drive Detector!" said Tyzonn and Will battles Kamdor while Dax battles Miratrix and the rest take on the monster "MERCURY STRIKE!" and the attack destroys the monster. Dax grabs the ruby from Miratrix and she and Kamdor retreat.

In Antartica, a device appears before Flurious and he opens it.

In San Angelas, a similar device appears before Kamdor and Miratrix they open it

"I can help you get the Jewels" said the device

"We don't need help" said Kamdor and he tosses it away, but the device teleports them elsewhere.

Elsewhere, Kamdor and Miratrix appear and see Moltor, Flurious, Norg, Mig, and Benglo.

"Why are we here?" Kamdor asked

"We we're invited" said Flurious

"By who?" Kamdor asked

"By me" said a voice and they all turn to see an alien "Thank you all for coming. I am Thrax"

"Thrax?" Miratrix asked "I've heard about you. Weren't you banished forever?"

"As you can see, that's not the case" said Thrax "like Moltor and Flurious, I was imprisoned by the Sentinel Knight. He was determined to bring me to justice and used his own Power to do so. But evil such as mine cannot be contained forever. As the Knight weakened, I grew stronger. But enough about me. As far as I see it, there's only one thing standing in your way of finding the Jewels of the Corona Aurora, the Power Rangers"

"Yes!" said Moltor "The Rangers have ruined our plans time and time again!"

"Then maybe it's time to eliminate the problem at the source" said Thrax "If I help you destroy the Rangers, the Earth will be yours to plunder for the jewels. You'll be unstoppable."

"But the Rangers are strong" said Kamdor

"We're stronger" said Thrax "if we work together!"

"Not a chance!" said Miratrix

"Now, now" said Thrax "I'm proposing a temporary alliance. Once the Rangers are gone, you can vaporize each after for all I care. Now gather around, my compatriots"

At the Hartford Mansion, the Rangers reflect back on all they've done as Rangers when an alarm goes off and they check the computer to see all the villains and Thrax attacking

"I am Thrax" said Thrax "the son of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd. I am going to finish what they started" and the Rangers rush to the battle.

"OVERDRIVE, ACCELERATE!" said Mack and he hits the Sun Button and spins the wheel down his arm "KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, RED RANGER!"

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, BLACK RANGER!" said Will

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, BLUE RANGER!" said Dax

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, YELLOW RANGER!" said Ronny

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, PINK RANGER!" said Rose

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, MERCURY RANGER!" said Tyzonn

"Drive Defenders!" said Mack

"HOVERTEK CYCLE!" said Will

"TRANSTEK ARMOR!" said Rose "ARMOR MODE!"

"Drive Detector!" said Tyzonn. Mack fights Thrax, but is blasted back by the Z-Staff. Dax fights Moltor and Benglo, but is knocked out of the sky. The Chillers blast Tyzonn off his feet and Miratrix strikes him in midair. Ronny fights Mig and the Chillers, but is knocked down. Rose fights Kamdor and the Lava Lizards, but is quickly knocked out of the TransTek Armor

"Drive Defender!" said Rose as she tries to continue to fight, but quickly loses. Will tries to run down Flurious, but is quickly knocked off

"Drive Defender!" said Will and he continues to fight, but is quickly cut down. The Rangers regroup, barely standing.

"Excellent" said Thrax "now give me your evil energy so we can eliminate the Rangers once and for all" and the villains all channel their energy into Thrax who charges the energy even more and shoots it into the sky. The energy surrounds the Earth and enters the Morphing Grid, severely damaging a section of it. An Overdrive Seal appears above the Rangers. It drops over them, demorphing them and damaging their Morphers.

"What happened?" Rose asked

"I severed your connection to the Morphing Grid" said Thrax "you are no longer Power Rangers" and a golden light appears, revealing the Sentinel Knight.

"Get away from them" said the Sentinel Knight

"You!" said Thrax "this just keeps getting better"

"The Sentinel Knight!" said Moltor

"Destroy him!" said Flurious

"You can't" said Thrax "but I know what can"

"We've got to get out of here" said the Sentinel Knight and he teleports them away in colored light

"Let them go" said Thrax "they won't cause you any more trouble"

"Let's find the Jewels" said Moltor

Elsewhere in San Angelas, the Rangers and Sentinel Knight appear

"Sentinel Knight" said Dax "are you okay?"

"The remaining Jewels are unprotected" said the Sentinel Knight "I must do something" and he teleports away

"Great" said Ronny "where does that leave us?" and Mack tries to use his Tracker, which just sparks

"Powerless" said Mack

At the Base, Andrew is trying to repair the Morphers

"I can't fix them" said Andrew "I mean I can fix the Morphers, but Thrax damaged the Morphing Grid itself and as long as it's damaged, the Morphers are useless. I'll study the Grid, but no one seems to know how to do repairs on the Grid itself, not even SPD or Project Hexagon. Commander Oliver said he'd try to contact Alpha 5, but no one's actually manage to damage the Grid itself before"

"Excuse me, sir" said Spencer "the villains are attacking all over the globe"

"Let's go team" said Mack

"But Mack…" said Andrew

"We still have our genetic powers" said Mack

"Be safe" said Andrew

"Always Dad" said Mack and he and the Rangers race off

At Stone Henge, Kamdor and Mig are searching for a Jewel, but the Rangers arrive on the Jeep, ATV, and motorcycles. Mig blasts Mack, Rose, and Tyzonn out of the Jeep. Tyzonn tries to use his mercury form to deflect the shots, but fails. Mack picks up the truck and tries to throw it at Mig, but Mig shoots him first. Will, Dax, and Ronny attack Kamdor, but he blasts them off their vehicles. The villains corner the Rangers

"Let's finish this" said Kamdor when vines appear out of the ground and trap Mig "Mig!" and he turns to see the Green Miracle Ranger with his Miracle Staff "Who are you?"

"Surprise!" said the Green Miracle Ranger and Kamdor is blasted by the Red SPD B-Squad Ranger with his Delta Blasters

"Hello!" said the Red SPD B-Squad Ranger as Mig escapes the vines, but is quickly struck by the Yellow Dino Ranger and her Ptera Grips

"It's great to be back!" said the Yellow Dino Ranger as Kamdor gets up, but is quickly attacked by a streak of blue, which is revealed to be the Blue Wind Ranger with her Ninja Sword

"Let the games begin" said the Blue Wind Ranger as Kamdor and Mig regroup. The ground splits open and the villains fall in, caused by the Black Mighty Morphin Power Ranger with his Power Axe

"Looks like you guys could use a little help" said the Black Power Ranger as the villains retreat "Power Down" and the Retro Rangers are revealed to be Adam Park, Tori Hanson, Kira Ford, Bridge Carson, and Xander Bly

"What's going on?" Dax asked as the Sentinel Knight appears

"I promise to answer your questions" said the Sentinel Knight and he teleports the Rangers and the Overdrive Rangers' vehicles back to the Base, where the Retro Rangers introduce themselves to the Overdrive Rangers

"So you've all been Rangers before?" Will asked

"Yep" said Tori

"I was originally the Green Ranger" said Bridge "but when Jack retired I became the Blue Ranger"

"But you're wearing red" said Rose

"Oh, uh, yeah, well, long story short" said Bridge "our mentor who's, well, a dog, got promoted to head of SPD which was run by a bird but he retired to Miami, and Sky got promoted and I got promoted. That's why I'm the Red Ranger"

"Makes sense to me" said Dax

"Well, welcome" said Andrew "we're all happy to have you here"

"We're all happy to help" said Adam "Once a Ranger"

"Always a Ranger" said the Retro Rangers

"I have called upon the Retro Rangers to replace the Overdrive Rangers" said the Sentinel Knight "I have restored Adam, Tori, and Xander's Powers using the last of my energy"

"Why didn't you just restore our Powers?" Rose asked

"Even I do not know how to repair the Morphing Grid itself" said the Sentinel Knight "I repaired Xander's Miracle Morpher's connection to the Morphing Grid along with repairing Adam's Power Coin and Tori's Power Disc, their respective sections of the Grid are intact, it was only their Morphing devices that were damaged"

Later at the Hartford Mansion, the Overdrive Rangers are hanging around the mansion when the Retro Rangers show up

"What an incredible command center" said Kira "Dr. O would have loved to seen that"

"Hey, you know, I still can't believe he's a doctor" said Adam

"I can't wait to pilot that Gyro Driver" said Tori and they notice the Overdrive Rangers look upset

"Cheer up guys" said Xander

"Your Powers will be back in no time, you'll see" said Kira and the alarms go off

"Duty calls" said Tori and the Retro Rangers leave

In San Angelas, Flurious and the Chillers are blocking the main road. Adam arrives on the HoverTek Cycle and blast the barricade and then jumps off

"Now that's just rude" said Adam

"Attack!" said Flurious and the Chillers attack Adam as the other Retro Rangers arrive.

"Got your back!" said Bridge

"Power Axe!" said Adam

"Ninja Sword!" said Tori

"Ptera Grips!" said Kira

"Delta Blasters!" said Bridge

"Miracle Staff!" said Xander and they destroy the Chillers.

"It's your move" said Adam

"This wasn't suppose to happen" said Flurious and he teleports away

At the Hartford Mansion, Andrew and Adam are working on the Morphers

"I've learned enough about the Grid to reinforce it to prevent Thrax from damaging your Powers" said Andrew "but I still can't figure out the damage that's been done"

"I think I know who might be able to fix it" said Adam and he walks off

At Thrax's Lair, the villains are complaining

"Thrax has fixed nothing" said Flurious "new Rangers, same old problems"

"My new monster, Vulturus, will be able to handle the Rangers" said Thrax "and while Vulturus keeps the Rangers busy, I will finish off the Sentinel Knight"

At the Hartford Mansion, the Overdrive Rangers meet with Andrew

"Thank you for everything you've done" said Will "but we feel useless without out Powers"

"We're going to go back to our normal lives" said Ronny

"Do you all feel this way?" Andrew asked

"I mean, I'm not going anywhere" said Mack "but I do feel this way"

"We're leaving Operation Overdrive" said Rose
