Episode 355: Power Rangers Operation Overdrive: Once a Ranger: Part II

At Thrax's Lair, the villains are talking while Thrax is gone

"Anybody care for blubber dip?" Norg asked "it's a Norg family recipe" and Kamdor shoves it in his face "needs more blubber"

"We're no better off now than we were before" said Benglo

"He's right" said Moltor "we've got new Rangers and no Jewels. Thrax's plan is failing"

"Speaking of Thrax" said Miratrix "where is he?"

"My troops are keeping an eye on the new Rangers" said Flurious "but maybe we need to keep an eye on Thrax"

At a warehouse in Angel Grove, the Retro Rangers arrive

"Welcome to Angel Grove" said Adam "should be right around here somewhere"

"And what exactly are we looking for?" Kira asked

"I'm afraid you wouldn't believe me if I told you" said Adam

"Let me see if I can help ya" said Bridge and he uses his Powers to detect Chillers "Guys, I'm getting some strange energy coming from over there… Chillers"

"Time for Plan Xander" said Xander "G'day, name's Xander, let's just talk…" but the Chillers throw him across the room "deja vu" and the Retro Rangers fight the Chillers. Kira uses her Ptera Scream to blast some Chillers back

"I knew you had a good voice" said Bridge "but I didn't expect it to be so loud" and he beats up some more Chillers. Xander uses his Miracle Morpher to create vines to tie up some Chillers

"It feels good to get back to my roots" said Xander while Tori beats up some more Chillers

"Wave bye bye" said Tori and she sends a blast of water at some Chillers. Adam fights the remaining Chillers and destroys them.

"It may be old school" said Adam "but it still gets the job done" and he leads the other Retro Rangers to a crate with a lightning bolt on it "this is it"

"Are you sure this can help?" Tori asked

"Never let me down before" said Adam

At the Base, Mack is cleaning up when a golden light appears

"I see not everyone has abandoned the mission" said the Sentinel Knight

"Well" said Mack "sweeping the floor isn't exactly up there with being a Power Ranger"

"Remember what the others said" said the Sentinel Knight "'Once a Ranger, always a Ranger'"

"Yeah" said Mack "but what good is a Power Ranger with no Power"

"As long as you keep fighting for what's right" said the Sentinel Knight "you'll always have Power" and then he winces in pain

"Hey" said Mack "are you all right?"

"As long as I am away from the Corona and the Jewels, I will continue to weaken until I am sealed inside Heaven" said the Sentinel Knight

"But you were the one who scattered the Jewels in the first place" said Mack

"It was the only way to keep the Power out of the hands of evil" said the Sentinel Knight "it's a sacrifice I would gladly make again"

"What did Thrax mean when he said he knew what could destroy you?" Mack asked

"There is one weapon that has the Power to end my days, the sword Excelsior" said the Sentinel Knight "I'm certain Thrax intends to get it and exact his revenge on me"

"Why don't we go get it first?" Mack asked

"No" said the Sentinel Knight "it's much too dangerous. Protecting the Jewels must come first. I grow weak. I must rest" and he teleports away

Elsewhere at a racetrack, Ronny finishes first

"Special thanks to my pit crew and all my fans" said Ronny "you guys are the greatest" and checks inside her trophy, but doesn't find anything

At Auckland, New Zealand, Dax is doing a stunt

"Cut" said the director "that's lunch" and the crew leaves Dax hanging from the wires

"Hey!" said Dax "wait a minute! Hey! This isn't a fun as I remembered"

Outside of a gallery, Will returns a painting to the owner and gets his check, but doesn't seem fulfilled.

In a field, Tyzonn wanders aimlessly

At Cambridge, Rose finishes her lecture

"And that concludes our lecture" said Rose "thank you all for coming" and she notices Mack standing in the back "Mack! What are you doing here? It's so great to see you"

"It's great to see you too" said Mack "But I'm here for something important. What do you know about a sword called Excelsior?"

"Well" said Rose "it's Power is legendary, but it's just a myth"

"We both know better than that" said Mack "where can I find out more information about it?"

"The legend says many have gone to retrieve it" said Rose "but few have returned. There's a book all about it in out library"

"Thanks" said Mack "bye!" and he races off

"Wait!" said Rose, but Mack is gone so Rose gets out her cell

In a dark forest, Mack is searching for Excelsior

"This isn't so bad" said Mack and he falls into a pit "next time, Mack, just keep your mouth shut" and Mack gets out of the pit. He finds a statue of a woman holding a sword "Excelsior, that's gotta be it" and he approaches the statue but is stopped by the Z Staff

"Very impressive young man" said Thrax "But in finding Excelsior, you also led me right to it! Once you're out of my way, Excelsior will be mine and it will be the end of the Sentinel Knight" and he prepares to blast Mack, when someone kicks the Z Staff out of Thrax's hands

"Dax!" said Mack "what are you doing here?"

"I came with them" said Dax and he points to the other Overdrive Rangers

"I knew you were going to do something crazy" said Rose "so I called them"

"How many times do you have to learn, Mack?" Will asked "we're a team"

"Now back away from our teammate" said Tyzonn

At the Base, Andrew and Adam are working on what was in the crate

"The circuits might be a little rusty" said Adam "it's been a while since he's been activated"

"I think I've got the voltage discriminator back in place" said Andrew "cross your fingers" and then the machine starts up.

"Ay yi yi" said Alpha 6 "where am I? Adam!"

"How do you feel, Alpha?" Adam asked

"That was a wonderful rest" said Alpha 6 "but it's great to be up and running again"

"We've got a lot of catching up to do" said Adam "This is Andrew Hartford, he's the one who reactivated you"

"Hello, Alpha" said Andrew "We're hoping you can help us with an important mission. The Rangers are in big trouble"

"Say no more" said Alpha 6 "When it comes to helping the Power Rangers, I'm your bot"

In a dark forest, the Overdrive Rangers prepare to fight Thrax

"That sword will never be yours" said Ronny

"No, it's okay, Ronny" said Mack "let him have Excelsior"

"What?" Will asked

"Mack!" said Dax

"We're just puny humans" said Mack "we don't stand a chance against him"

"Finally" said Thrax "you've seen the futility in fighting me" and he approaches the statue "my parents were weak and succumbed to the goodness, but I will restore their legacy by destroying the Sentinel Knight by the blade of the mighty Excelsior" and he tries to grab Excelsior, but is blasted back "what's happening?"

"Guess you don't know the whole legend" said Mack "Excelsior belongs to the Warrior Angel. Only she can release the sword"

"Give me that sword!" said Thrax and he blasts the statue, but the blast is deflected back at him "Fine! If I can't have the sword, I'll trash your entire planet" and he teleports away

At the Base, Adam is filling in Alpha 6 on the situation

"Are you sure you're ready for this, Alpha?" Adam asked "you're the only one with enough knowledge of the Morphing Grid to try and fix it"

"I've never actually been in the Grid before, but I'll try my best" said Alpha 6

"All right" said Andrew "I'll be using similar technology to the Morphers, only instead of getting information from the Grid to turn into matter, I'll be turning matter into information and sending it to the Grid" and he hits a button, sending Alpha 6 inside the Grid.

Outside of San Angelas, Thrax stands with Vulturus

"Make my monster grow!" said Thrax and the Z Staff makes Vulturus grow

At the Base, the Retro Rangers watch the event

"Wouldn't you know it?" Tori asked "they still make em bigger"

"Adam" said Andrew "you take the FlashPoint, I'll monitor Alpha's progress"

"Right" said Adam and the Retro Rangers rush to battle

Outside of San Angelas, the Zords arrive

"DUMP DRIVER!" said Bridge

"SPEED DRIVER!" said Xander

"GYRO DRIVER!" said Tori

"DOZER DRIVER!" said Kira

"FIRE DRIVER!" said Adam "RESCUE RUNNER 1! RESCUE RUNNER 2!"

"DRIVEMAX ULTRAZORD!" said Bridge

"FLASHPOINT MEGAZORD!" said Adam and the Megazords battle Vulturus

In a dark forest, the Overdrive Rangers try to get the statue to release the Zord but can't

"Come on" said Ronny "we better get back"

"No" said Mack "I'm not going without the sword" and he pulls on the sword with the others and the statue comes to life

"Greetings, Power Rangers" said the Warrior Angel "I am the Warrior Angel. The conviction in your hearts has freed me from the curse that was placed on me many years ago. Excelsior is yours now" and she hands Mack the sword "Take it with my blessings and use it wisely" and she teleports away

In the Morphing Grid, Alpha 6 looks at the damage

"Ay yi yi yi!" said Alpha 6 "what would Zordon do?"

Outside of San Angelas, the Megazords are losing to Vulturus

"ULTRA BLAST!" said Bridge, but the blast doesn't destroy the monster and it shatters the Drill Driver "we're down!"

"What do we do now?" Xander asked

"Hey!" said Tori and she points outside to see a figure approaching "who's that?"

"It's Mack!" said Kira as Mack approaches with Excelsior, who uses his super strength jump above the monster and cuts it in two with Excelsior

"Incredible" said Adam

"Way to go, Mack!" said Bridge

"Yeah" said Xander

"Yeah!" said Tori

"Awesome!" said Kira

In the Base, the Rangers are meeting with Andrew, Spencer, and the Sentinel Knight

"You should have this" said Mack and he hands the Sentinel Knight Excelsior "it can never harm you now"

"Thank you" said the Sentinel Knight and he grabs Excelsior, which combines with him "Incredible! I never knew it had the Power to restore me as well"

"Mack" said Andrew "I would have never allowed you to go and get that sword"

"That's why I didn't tell you" said Mack

"In any case" said Spencer "we're happy to see you, all of you"

"Mr. Hartford" said Rose "we were wrong to leave"

"And we'd like to come back" said Will "to do anything you need us to do"

"Welcome back to the team" said Andrew

"You really saved our butts out there" said Tori as Alpha 6 appears

"Whoa" said Dax "who are you?"

"Alpha 6, at your service" said Alpha 6

"I brought Alpha in to repair the Morphing Grid" said Adam as Andrew check the computer

"He did it!" said Andrew "the Morphing Grid is fixed"

"We got our Ranger Powers back!" said Ronny "thanks, Alpha!"

"Ay yi yi" said Alpha "it feels good to be useful again"

"Tell us about it" said Dax

In San Angelas, the villains gather around Vulturus' remains

"This is a familiar sight" said Moltor

"I can't believe it" said Thrax "Vulturus was suppose to be invincible"

"One thing I've learnt with the Rangers" said Flurious "always have a Plan B" and he pulls out a Gyro and sticks it inside Vulturus, regenerating him.

At the Base, the Rangers see the villains gather in a quarry.

"Ready to get back to action?" Adam asked as the Overdrive Rangers pick up their Morphers

"You know it" said Mack

At the quarry, the Overdrive and Retro Rangers approach the Rangers

"Let's do it!" said Mack "Ready?"

"Ready!" said the other Rangers

"IT'S MORPHIN TIME!" said Adam "MASTODON!"

"NINJA STORM, RANGER FORM!" said Tori "POWER OF WATER!"

"DINO THUNDER, POWER UP!" said Kira "PTERA!"

"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Bridge "SPD, B-SQUAD, RED RANGER 1!"

"HEAVENLY SOURCE, MIRACLE FORCE!" said Xander as he pulls out his Miracle Morpher and types 123 Enter into it "STRONG AS A TREE, GREEN MIRACLE RANGER!"

"OVERDRIVE, ACCELERATE!" said Mack and he hits the Sun Button and spins the wheel down his arm "KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, RED RANGER!"

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, BLACK RANGER!" said Will

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, BLUE RANGER!" said Dax

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, YELLOW RANGER!" said Ronny

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, PINK RANGER!" said Rose

"KICK INTO OVERDRIVE, MERCURY RANGER!" said Tyzonn

"Black Mighty Morphin Power Ranger!" said Adam

"Blue Wind Ranger!" said Tori

"Yellow Dino Ranger!" said Kira

"Red SPD B-Squad Ranger!" said Bridge

"Green Miracle Ranger!" said Xander

"Red Overdrive Ranger!" said Mack

"Black Overdrive Ranger!" said Will

"Blue Overdrive Ranger!" said Dax

"Yellow Overdrive Ranger!" said Ronny

"Pink Overdrive Ranger!" said Rose

"Mercury Ranger!" said Tyzonn

"But how?" Thrax asked "I took your Powers away"

"That's what you thought!" said Dax

"But Once a Ranger" said Mack

"Always a Ranger!" and the other Rangers and they rush to battle.

"Power Axe!" said Adam and he fights Thrax

"Delta Blasters!" said Bridge

"Drive Lance!" said Mack "Drive Defender!" and they fight Flurious. Flurious knocks Bridge down and knocks Mack's weapons away

"Mack!" said Bridge and he tosses Mack his Delta Blasters

"Delta Blasters!" said Mack "Fire!" and he shoots Flurious back.

"Miracle Force Fighters!" said Xander and he types 883 Enter in his Miracle Morpher

"Drive Slammer!" said Will

"Drive Vortex!" said Dax "Drive Defender!" and they fight the Fearcats

"Thundermax Saber!" said Kira

"Drive Defender!" said Ronny and they fight Kamdor and Miratrix

"Come on!" said Moltor as he fights Tori and Rose

"Drive Detector!" said Tyzonn and he fights Vulturus

"DEFENDER VEST!" said Adam and the Defender Vest appears on him "BLACK SUPER MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGER!" and he continues to fight Thrax, who punches him back "now you've made me mad!" Thrax punches him, knocking the Defender Vest off of him. Adam cuts Thrax with his Power Axe, sending him flying "Morphenomenal!"

"Drive Claws!" said Ronny

"Ptera Grips!" said Kira as they knock Kamdor and Miratrix back

"Drive Geyser!" said Rose

"Ninja Sword!" said Tori and they blast Moltor back.

"Drive Defender!" said Mack

"Drive Lance!" said Bridge

"Let's go" said the Red Rangers and they both strike Flurious, causing him to collapse

"MERCURY STRIKE!" said Tyzonn and he destroys Vulturus. The Sentinel Sword lands and transforms into the Sentinel Knight

"You again?" Thrax asked "I wish I had the sword Excelsior. Then I would use its Power to destroy you forever"

"That can never happen" said the Sentinel Knight "Excelsior is a part of me now. SENTINEL KICK!" and the Sentinel Knight uses his legs, which are sword blades, to cut through Thrax, who explodes "This evil legacy is over"

"But we're not" said Moltor as the villains regroup

"Ninja Sword: Blaster Mode!" said Tori

"Thundermax Blaster!" said Kira

"Delta Blasters: Combo Mode!" said Bridge

"Miracle Staff!" said Xander

"DEFENDER VEST!" said Mack as the armor forms around him "RED SUPER OVERDRIVE RANGER! DRILL BLASTER: DRILL!" as Adam braces him

"Drive Defenders: Blaster Mode!" said Will

"Drive Detector: Blaster Mode!" said Tyzonn

"FIRE!" said the Rangers and the villains go their separate ways

"Power Down" said Adam and they demorphed "Thrax was a lot easier to beat than his parents. It took Zordon sacrificing Himself to beat them"

"Did you really think you could beat me that easily?" a voice asked and they all turned to see Thrax, who prepares to blast them. He fires, but something knocks the blast back as a man lands in front of them and Adam smiles

"You came back" said Adam
