-Lena Pov-

I have finished my bath and now I am just looking in the mirror. I look like a completely different woman. I knew I had been that bunker for a while but not to this extent. No duh Kara could not figure out I was me.

Maybe love does not conquer all either. I mean I still look partially the same right? I still have...well I still have dark hair and my eyes. Oh god I am a stereotypical witch right now!

"Lena?" I turn to the door and before I can say anything I am in a loving hug "You are ok princess I promise"

"I am ugly" Kara pulls back quickly and I am sat onto the counter "What is happening?"

"I am trying to figure out something" I look at her confused as she takes a step back and shakes her head "Nope I see nothing ugly about you! I see a girl who got scared and hid, I see a girl so afraid of abandonment she abandoned everyone first, and I see a girl who loves everyone in her life but is scared they will leave but none of us are going to leave"

"You did" I look Kara in the eyes "You left me and I tried...you said call you and I tried to but you would never listen"

"Our communications got broken" Kara looks at the ground and grabs my hands "I am so sorry and I...I never meant to hurt you ok? If me being here is going to be toxic for your healing then I can go"

"NO!" I dive into her and wrap her arms around me "Never leave me again! I-I can not do you leaving me behind again! I will die if you do not stay!"

"Ok" She hugs me on her own volition "I am going nowhere princess"

I melt into the hug and my heart melts at her words. This is the closest I will ever be to her love. I was going to tell her that day. But when I got to her place they had already left.

"Now how about we go eat?...also get you some clothes?"

-Time skip-Kara pov-

Lena is out on the couch currently. She ate way more than I thought she would. I was going to pick her up but I decided to surprise her. I am going to clean up her house!

I speed around picking things up and cleaning off the dust. I rush to her room after cleaning everything else. I blush when I move some of her..toys and her undergarments. I stop when I open the closet and see my name.

I pick up the card and slowly open it.

'Kara I have been trying to find the words to say out loud for a while now. I have been trying to figure out what to say that would convert how I feel correctly. How I just wish you could be with me always. That's why I am doing this surprise event!

I invited all of our loved ones cause you deserve a big stage when told that you are loved. I cause I love you Kara Danvers. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I just hope you want to spend the rest of your life with me.

Do you?'

"I got to your house just to find out you were gone" I jump and turn to see a frowning Lena "I think it is best that you take Alex up on her offer for Washington"

"You all keep saying that but it is in Virginia" I shake my head and focus back to the situation at hand "How do you know about that?"

"Alex called and before I could say it was me she kept talking" Tears start falling down her face and my heart breaks again for the way too much time today "Your mission is over! I thought you actually cared about me! I thought you wanted to be here for me! Stupid me thinking someone truly wanted to be with me huh? I mean come on! I am ugly, a Luthor, and the biggest genius/idiot in the world!"

"SHUT UP!" I punch the wall next to me out of anger and she jumps "I LOVE YOU FOR YOU DAMNIT! I WAS STAYING FOR YOU! I WAS GOING TO HELP YOU GET BETTER FOR YOU! I KNOW I AM A MESS UP OK?! MY MOM IS DEAD, MY FAMILY HAS GROWN PAST WHAT I KNEW, AND THE GIRL I LOVE KEEPS TEARING HERSELF DOWN! FUCK MY DAMN MISSION! MY MISSION IS TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE ALRIGHT! So please! Shut the hell up and just let me take care of you!"

Silence falls over the room minus my heavy breathing. When she does not respond I shake my head and walk to the door. I move past her and to the guest room. I had Alex bring me some stuff to have here.

I hear her start moving around and I just continue to unpack my things. I do not stop when I hear her come to the doorway. I get my shirts up before she clears her throat behind me. I turn and wait for her to speak first.

"I made this for you" She holds her hand out and reveals a gold bracelet "It has a red sun dampener in it so you can turn it on or off"

"Thank you" I walk over and take the bracelet just to be pulled into a hug "Lena?"

"I am sorry I was being so rude" I hear her sniffle in my arms "Do not leave me please!"

"I was never planning out it" I pick her up and carry her back to her room "How about you get changed and we cuddle while watching some movies? You get to pick the first one if you want ok?"

She nods with a small smile and heads to her closet. I smile and put the bracelet on my wrist. It is the perfect size for my wrist of course. I shake my head with a smile before speed changing.

When she gets back we lay down and I hold onto her while watching movies until we go to sleep.
