Weiss returned home with a immense of determination ensure she not only changes but also is better so Ruby can be happy. The first thing she did was make it so she was taking a hiatus away from work by telling calling her sister Winter and telling her what's been going on. Winter surprisingly didn't question it and promptly took over Weiss's place in the company for the time being.

"Don't worry Ruby.. I'll make this better.. for us!" Weiss said in her thoughts as she began cleaning up the house they lived in cleaning up the dinner room table. She felt a lot of guilt for not showing up during the anniversary and let alone not even touching the food that Ruby spent the entire day cooking but consequently was her favorite. She made sure to eat a lot but she was having a hard time eating the big portion she put on her plate mainly because of the event that happened during their anniversary. The time it took for her to eat her portion was slow due to the multiple amount of times she broke in to tears thinking of how disastrous the anniversary was but furthermore the food Ruby cooked that was her favorite brought good memories she shared with her sister and Ruby.

"I done fucked it up... but I'm not going to let this happen again!" Weiss thought and her determination even rose. She was going to learn how to cook so she can surprise Ruby even more. She didn't have any experience cooking because of her family thinking cooking was pointless considering they had a vast amount of wealth and they just let the servants cook all of their dishes. Weiss remembered as a kid a little girl trying to share a cookie with her only for the servant that was forced to be by her side always during elementary school slapping the cookie out of Weiss's hand because the servants the Schnee family hired weren't only the best but they took their job seriously by only providing the fanciest and best quality of food in the world and thinking that food from a poor person or family was considered a sin and the food from said poor person or family should be destroyed. However, Weiss wasn't going to let some stupid little memory bother her from getting better for her girlfriend by changing.

Weiss pulled out her scroll to only see it was dead due to it not being charged. Weiss threw the scroll to the wall in pure frustration due to the recent events that have happened. Weiss then felt drowsy and decided to leave the learning how to cook plan for tomorrow and make sure she gets a good nights sleep so she can be ready for tomorrow.

"Its just a stupid scroll... I got the best one in the market and I'm pretty sure it can withstand anything great... though my fixation on the best in the marketplace when it comes to materialistic things is what ultimately brought me to this ordeal... Oh Ruby.. I'm sorry..."

Weiss took a shower then changed into her silky light blue nightgown before heading off to the bed she and Ruby shared. Weiss looked at the bed with a sad and blank look because she hasn't seen an untouched bed with no one it to hug in a while in the same way as not seeing Ruby first in bed every time she gets home to feel comfort. Weiss slipped into the lonely sheets and tried to sleep but she wasn't able to grasp sleep.

"What do I have to do to get Ruby back?

Will she even forgive me?

How big should I change?

Should I leave my company in the hands of my sister for good and make up to Ruby all the time I missed and make sure she's loved?

"Should I abandon the dream of me making a name for myself in my company by not just being the heiress but by showing them that same sex love isn't considered a sin in not only a company but in a rather rich family which will effectively make me prove my family of my past generation and my parents of now wrong? Why am I thinking of my company when it literally caused Ruby to resort to this ultimatum? I need to stop this balderdash and make sure everything is right.. "

Weiss wanted to spend the rest of the night to think of more solutions to the problem that's at hand but it was inevitable for her to think for longer because sleep took its toll on her. No matter how much she tried to resist, sleep was took over her and she fell asleep.

*enter dream sequence*

Weiss was busy doing her homework in the study hall in middle school until a girl with hair that was the same hair color as hers showed right behind her.

"I'm sorry to bother you but my name is Charlotte Akiyama... I'm having trouble trying to learn the equations for kinematics. Can you help me please?"

Weiss looked at her and Weiss wasn't just surprised by the fact that the girl in front of her literally looked liked her but with really shorter hair and with a lacerated scar on her nose but she felt something within her that she never felt before. Weiss felt her heart beat even more and her face starting to feel red.

"Is this what they call love? What am I feeling?"

Weiss helped Charlotte with her homework and Charlotte was able to ace her physics test. Charlotte looked at Weiss with a passionate look and thanked her for her help before offering to hang out with her after school.

"Is a girl actually wanting to hang out with me? It's actually not some random dude trying to hit on me and not all the girls in school are scared of me because I have a short temper and am very quiet? This feels weird but let me just explore..."

Weiss and Charlotte went to the park behind their middle school to hang out and they had a grand time. They shared so many laughs together and the lesson given to her by her family that everyone in the world is below them diminished. Weiss felt happy at that moment and she didn't give a damn about her status when it comes to her wealth neither her family's name.

After playing for a long time and the duo being exhausted, both of them retreated to the bench to rest and await for sunset. Charlotte had her head on Weiss's shoulder and fell asleep accordingly. Weiss felt comfort at that time and most importantly Weiss felt happy. Weiss closed her eyes and imagined the sunset in her head

"Did I actually make a friend? What is this feeling? it feels so good!"

However, before her thoughts could feel genuine, a cold breeze hit Weiss and suddenly the happy world around her turned into black. The school and park they were in front of was gone and the environment was turned from colorful and happy to black and dark. Weiss then noticed that Charlotte was gone and it was only her in sitting in that bench. Weiss called for Charlotte desperately because as strong as Weiss was, she was afraid of being alone and literally despised it completely.

As Weiss called for Charlotte, a light appeared right in front of her and it was Charlotte and another girl talking with both of them wearing evil smiles on their faces. The girl had light brown hair and had an eye patch on her left eye. Weiss recognized her as the middle school bully and her name was Megan Kruger. Megan Kruger is considered to be the harshest bully in the middle school Weiss attended and she was not only malicious but she was relentless when she picked out a target she wanted to break. Megan once bullied a girl so hard in the school that she ended up committing suicide and even though she influenced everyone around her to not get be blamed on, she was ultimately caught and was expelled from the school. Even though she was expelled from the school, she didn't care because if she wanted to do something, she'll just do it. Like the time she caught a girl cheating on her girlfriend with a guy and she ended up castrating the guy before removing the cheating girls tongue. Megan was sent to jail and no has heard of her since...

The Megan in front of her that was talking with Charlotte was her before she was sent to jail and they were talking about something sinister they wanted to do to the heiress.

"You should go gain her trust and try to be with her only to get her money! I can see how she blushes a little everytime she sees you!"

"I know right? She's so filthy stinking rich its fucking stupid. Once I get her to trust me and we become closer I can exploit her while you go in for the kill by kidnapping her and we hold for her ransom so we can gain profit!"

"I don't want just money... I want what makes her perfect... that beautiful alabaster skin... that hair... She doesn't deserve that considering she isn't the best Schnee like her sister... oh well... I guess I'll just have to cut it from her and make it mine"

"We can turn her into a fucktoy that we can sell to others and we can make her ours by carving our initials to her body"

Charlotte and Megan continued to talk about sinister things they can do to Weiss before they started engaging in a passionately lip lock. Weiss has heard gossip while she was walking in the halls about a girl who plans on destroying the Schnee family name and claiming their wealth. She didn't believe it at first when she first heard it and called it nonsense until one day after school she was walking to the front to be picked up only to see the janitors closet open and Megan and Charlotte talk about the plans.

Weiss at that point decided to be even more closed off by putting up an attitude that would scare others and she would truly test someone when it comes to friendship. As for Megan and Charlotte, Weiss told the servant in the car who then proceeded the next day to escort Weiss to the principals office with a Luger in his right hand. The principal was informed about what Megan and Charlotte were plotting and without hesitation called the police in to jail Charlotte and Megan.

Even though no one has heard of Megan and Charlotte, the servant informed the Weiss's father Jacques Schnee. Jacques first slapped Weiss in the face hard for not standing up for her self by showing them no mercy in trying to mess with a Schnee before he made a few phone calls to have the two girls brought to the basement of the palace.

Weiss remembers everything she heard from the agonizing screams and plea just for everything to stop that night until the next day it stopped completely. Weiss came home after she finished a fencing competition and getting second place. Everyone in the household gave her a look of disappointment before her father came out of his studies only for him to slap Weiss hard in the face.

"I believed in you! You could've been a better asset to me if you have just gotten first place! I got you that phone you've wanted considering your internet activity in the family's PC but second place doesn't deserve something great as that. Instead I got something else for you, something that'll teach you a lesson. Head over to your room and open the package at once!" Her father yelled as he threw the cigar he was smoking at the wall behind her.

Weiss walked up to her room and she found a big box on her floor that was covered. She took off the cover and immediately she was greeted with a crimson red box. She opened the lid to only be horrified by whats inside. Megan and Charlotte have been cut in half and Charlotte's half was sewed to Megan's half. It wasn't just Megan and Charlotte being sown together that scared Weiss the most but it was how they looked as if they were stuff like a taxidermist would do but yet their eyes retained that look of despair as they started blankly at Weiss.

Weiss disgusted by what she saw threw up and started backing away from the box until she felt someone behind her to see it was her father. Weiss grabbed the rapier by her side and initiated an offensive stance toward her father.

"You actually have the audacity to draw your sword against me!? A god?!"

Jacques slapped the rapier out of Weiss's hand and the rapier flew to the side before she was kicked in the gut which caused her an immense amount of pain before being sent back

"This is what happens when rich figures like us lose in this world. When we let those little shit's dictate run the world instead of putting them in their places. We're the gods in this world and you better remember that! Now go get your sleep and don't worry about the doll I made for you, I'll grab her now and put her in the trash!"

Weiss father grabbed the box with the "doll in it" and threw it out of Weiss's balcony before shutting the door with a loud bang!

Weiss laid on the floor clutching her stomach from the pain she experienced from the kick. She tried to be strong for her absent sister at the time due to her sister being at the world tournament for fencing. As Weiss laid there, a black dog with red eyes came out of the shadows and lunged at her which caused everything to become black.

Weiss opened her eyes once more and she saw Ruby. Ruby was there clutching the necklace Weiss gave to her when their relationship started deepening and that was a year in their relationship. Ruby grabbed the necklace and ripped it to shreds. Ruby then proceeded to destroy all the materialistic gifts Weiss gave her for their past anniversaries.

"You cared about your company more than me! I don't need these things to only be reminded of a failure of a heiress and a lover. Besides I can find someone else better!" Ruby said as her face contorted to an evil smile.

Weiss sat there crying as she looked at Ruby destroying what she gave her and saying more sinister things before a lady with tan hair came behind her.

"Lets make a better family Ruby!"

"Sure Rin, I'll be delighted to do that"

Weiss saw as Rin then passionately started kissing Ruby and that was the camel that broke the camels back before Weiss stood up and yelling as she ran towards Ruby and Rin. Weiss imagined herself holding her rapier and without hesitation she made a slashing motion with her eyes closed while she was holding something that she presumed was a rapier.

Weiss opened her eyes to only see Ruby's head fall to the floor and Rin's as well. Weiss looked to her right hand and saw she was instead holding her dad's saber. Weiss quickly ran to Ruby and Ruby did nothing other than give Weiss the dead stare that Megan and Charlotte did to Weiss. Weiss looked up and saw a mirror in front of her and in the mirror she saw a dark reflection of herself. She was covered in blood, had a piece of shattered glass embedded on the left part of her head that crudely resembled a demon's horn and she was smiling evilly.

*end dream sequence*

Weiss woke up violently yelling as tears flowed out of her eyes. She touched her face and then the bed she was on to see if she was in the real world. She quickly opened the closet and opened the file cabinet in the closet to confirm her suspicion: her father did die under "mysterious circumstances" and it was covered in an article in the newspaper sometime before.

"I am not going to let some stupid nightmare take me away from getting back with my Ruby and making things better!" Weiss said as she got up from bed and making her way quickly to the kitchen.

*meanwhile with Ruby*

Ruby was taking a walk around the local park that was close to Yang and Blakes house. The rain has subsided and outside felt warm and Ruby thought it would be a great opportunity to think of the ultimatum she issued and what she should do next. As she was lost in her thought she didn't noticed a person running towards her direction and Ruby bumped into her which cause both of them to fall to the ground.

"I'm so sorry about bumping into you!" Ruby said as she helped the person to her feet.

"Hey its fine! I've been clumsy all of this week and my luck hasn't been going great. I'm going to do something nice this week by treating you to some coffee!" the person said as they took off their hood.

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure!"

"Okay, let me first introduce myself then before we get coffee! My name is Ruby Rose!" Ruby said as she introduced herself to the lady who took her hood off to reveal a short and sweaty but yet brilliant mane of tan hair.

"Nice to meet you Ruby! My name is Rin Genese, I think we would make good friends!"

There ya go! I have kept my promise and updated in the time frame I made for myself! If you can guess the name of the anime series that inspired me the idea to write this chapter, you get a brownie point! *hint, its dark fantasy*
