Hello there :D Sorry for not uploading the conclusion to the cliffhanger! I'm really taking my time with it and I really don't want to rush it because like I said before I've experienced backlash from doing so and the responses were not so bright. I want to avoid that and I want to make sure the next chapter is just right. This is my first time honestly exploring this type of valley when it comes to my stories and I really want to take my time to think about ideas and also make the story interesting. There are a few ideas that I've really wanted to write about but I can't include due to how far this story is already. So that's why I've decided to write Omake(Extra in Japanese) Chapters from time to time just so I can paint all the ideas in my head so I can make room for new ones. I'm really sorry again if you were expecting the cliffhanger to be uploaded but rest assured it's going to come out right, just need to correct some stuff here from here. Please don't get worried that I'm going to ditch the story completely and just write random stories, These Omake stories will come out maybe every after 7-8 main chapters of the story.. so just a little fyi... Without further a do, lets see how my first extra story goes :)

~Fury in my eyes~

Everyone thought the upcoming week was going to be another mundane week with nothing special going on other than class but everyone was wrong when they got back to class after the weekend.. After professor port finished his lecture and telling the class his hunting stories he then made an announcement about the annual Beacon dance happening this Friday. Everyone's mood drastically improved and everyone was either happy or shy that the dance was coming. They were happy because they either had already a special someone they wanted to bring to the dance to spend the night with or they heard about the early dismal that day because of said dance which allowed more free time and basically relaxation in general. Couples already going to beacon together were rare so everyone who cared about the dance became shy the instant it was announced because they already have a special someone in their mind that they want to ask out soon but that soon instead of being a couple months to make a full 180 of themselves just became right now so they can secure a place with them.

It was no secret Ruby had a big crush on Weiss. She admired the girl so much from the her beautiful hair to her heiress attitude in general. She could be berating Ruby for the whole day or even scold her for the whole day if she wanted to if Ruby wanted to mess up that badly but Ruby wouldn't mind the berating or scolding at all. Ruby treasured Weiss as the white haired beauty taught her a lot ever since she got into Beacon. She taught Ruby new study habits, new habits in general just to keep a sharp mind and how to gradually get warmed up to the idea of singing. Ruby loved Weiss's voice and her voice alone would be enough to calm Ruby down and make her blush hard if it was soft instead of a scolding tone.

Ruby had thoughts of going to the dance with Weiss ever since that announcement was made and she wished those thoughts would come to a reality. She knew the next four days before the dance would be busy so she decided to work as hard as she can to complete her homework as best as possible while coming up with something really nice to ask the heiress out. Ruby's eyes showed immense flames of determination and that determination caught the attention of Yang immediately even though she was in a conversation with her girlfriend Blake. Yang hoped as well that Ruby's efforts to what she wanted will get her what she wanted at the end and will also make her happy.

*4 days later*

Ruby finished the last batches of homework she was given to her from Port in her dorm room. Once Ruby was done she put the homework into a homework folder and putting said folder back to its rightful place in her desk before taking out another folder. This folder she took out was what she's been working on rigorously for the past 4 days. She decided that she was going to ask Weiss out through a song she made by herself and Ruby knows that her singing voice isn't as good Weiss's but she hopes that the heiress will appreciate the thought that Ruby put into making the song and at least trying to sing to her just to get her as her date. Ruby opened the folder and took out the 3 pieces of paper that had lyrics that described the heiress, the features she loved and how she wanted to go with her to the dance and finally at the end possibly get together. Unfortunately, once Ruby took out the lyric filled papers, she had a hard time thinking about other words she can put into the song.

"I wonder if I can find something in one of those hunting books in the library to make this song cool" Ruby thought to herself as she got up and made her way to the library.

The red head closed her dorm room and made sure to lock it before she made her way to the library. It was 9 o'clock PM at the moment in Beacon and Ruby hoped that she'll be able to make it to the library and find said inspiration from one of the many books that the library has. Ruby really wants this song to be special as thoughts of her ending up with the heiress and possibly getting married helped her cope with bad flashbacks from the past or the stress that huntresses endure when they're given a butt load of work to perfect their skills in a hunting academy. As Ruby was making her way to the library something caught her eyes. She saw the curtains of the balcony that lead to a view of Beacon city alive and flapping smooth from the silent yet cool night. Ruby remembered that tonight was a full moon and it was something she's always wanted to see from a balcony view rather than from somewhere boring like her dorm room. As she made her way towards the balcony room, she was appalled from what she saw. She saw Weiss and Neptune talking to each other, exchanging smiles.

"So Neptune... Would you like to go to the dance with me tomorrow?"

"I would love to snow princess" Neptune said as he hugged Weiss before leaving with Weiss blushing with a smile plastered on her face.

Ruby felt as if she just got stabbed by the sharpest and thickest knife in the world with said knife also being twisted multiple times before her heart was nothing but dust. Ruby felt something she hasn't felt since her Summer's death, Anger... Ruby used her sembelance to teleport herself to the rooftop to unload the tears she couldn't hold from what she saw. Weiss called her a best friend and they were so close to the point they would share beds just to spend time together even more and just have fun. Ruby threw away the song she was working on to let the wind take it somewhere she hopes she wouldn't see it again. Ruby decided to sleep in the rooftop that night as she didn't want to face Weiss at all tonight or hell even tomorrow. She wanted to get out... she wanted to leave a place that only reminded her misery... she wanted revenge...

*Tomorrow*

Ruby's internal body clock woke her up just in time so she can make it back to the dorm before any suspicion rose. She used her semblance to get to the front of the door before making sure to enter the dorm room as quietly as possible. Ruby made sure to freshen up and get ready for class as quietly as she can so she didn't wake up the rest of her team. Ruby skipped breakfast and went straight to class just to think.

That day, Ruby took a vow of silence. She didn't speak to anyone, even to her own team or partner. She would nod but wouldn't say a thing. Weiss, Blake, and Yang were all worried sick that day as their once cheerful and optimistic leader was the complete opposite of herself. Yang and Blake pulled Ruby to the side and tried to talk with her but they were only met with silence. Weiss got angry with Ruby at she was not fulfilling her leaders role properly and scolded her before she tried to talk to Ruby. Ruby only listened to her voice as she knew that today was going to be the last day that she would hear it going to her before it would be directed to that blue headed goggle wearing piece of shit. Ruby gave Weiss the exact same treatment when they were wondering whats going on, she was silent and she nodded when she really needed to go somewhere else. Yang and Blake were worried but Yang brought up how Ruby was like this when their mother died and told the rest of the group that Ruby just needed space. Ruby didn't just need space... she needed that heiress to fill in the hole in her heart and the one thing she's wanted as a kid, true love and having a future with another girl that was special to her. Ruby didn't like guys from the beginning as in her early years she was mostly bullied by guys for not acting like a true girl.

The night of the dance came quickly and the rest of the members of team RWBY other than Ruby made their way to the dance to spend the night with the special person in their hearts. Ruby hated the idea of the dance, she wished that it got erased now. She wished that time could've been rewinded so she can find Weiss and have her not meet Neptune at all in the first place. Ruby wished that she could run into Neptune sometime in the forest with him alone just so she can put a good bullet right between his eyes. Ruby's anger was swelling and so was her sadness. She was going to lose Weiss to some random guy even though they closer and were almost inseparable with the time they were spending both in and out of the dorm.

Time flew by and Ruby was surprised herself that it's been an hour already since the dance started. Ruby spent that hour grieving and letting her emotions out just so she can make this tight and painful sensation on her chest go away. Ruby's dream ever since she was a kid was to become the best huntress in the world, be #1 to be exact. Ruby's always had that dream motivate her but right now in her time of grief that motivation has increased tenth fold as she lost the one person she loved get taken away by some random asshole they met in the street easily and she felt that her other dream which was to get married and have a family with a special girl get taken away as she felt the odds of getting with Weiss grow dim. Feelings of loneliness crept into Ruby's mind as she remembered how Blake and Yang have been together for a while and thoughts of Yang and Blake getting married and having children while Ruby was alone and miserable made her angry.

But then her anger was replaced by a delusional side of herself. The delusional side was making light of the situation, claiming that probably Weiss got stood up by Neptune and is now alone. Ruby fell to her delusional side easily and made her way towards the dance just to find Weiss and see what she was doing. Ruby snuck her way to the dance, wearing her huntress outfit and she tried to find Weiss. The dance floor glowed with pretty colors with students dancing to the modern yet weird hip hop beat with the others who weren't dancing hanging out with their friends. She saw Blake and Yang intertwined in a very intense dance together and with their eyes deeply focused at each other to the point not even anything can shatter their gaze towards each other. Ruby searched for Weiss on the dancefloor but couldn't find her. Ruby went to one of many corridors leading to the ballroom but the view she saw shattered her heart.

Ruby saw Weiss and Neptune interlocked in a furious liplock. Ruby could feel her blood rushing, her face becoming red and urges to kill that son of a bitch skyrocket. Ruby took out a piece of cloth from her pocket and used it to wipe the immense amount of tears coming out of her eyes. Ruby made sure to cry silently as she didn't want to bother her partner and that sorrowful excuse of a fucking hunter who did nothing but flirt with other girls in their business. Once Ruby tried to wipe off all the tears, she gripped the cloth tightly hoping that her worried would go away, but instead she ended up gripping it so hard she drew blood and the blood stained the cloth to make it crimson Red. Ruby sat crying before her anger immediately took over and she clutched the cloth harder with thoughts of revenge forming in her head.

"I'm going to obliterate him. I'll leave nothing of him left. I'll make him sorry for existing." Ruby thought to herself as more and violent thoughts were being formed. Ruby's hand unconsciously was making its way towards crescent rose before she heard a mischievous yet mocking voice speak to her and her hand stopped.

"Yo Ruby." the voice said to Ruby with Ruby not turning to see who was talking to her as she was busy looking at her other hand shaking from rage.

"Who? What you waiting for? You really sure thats the right decision? I mean if you let it get to you its okay little girl. Don't do it Rubes seriously. Don't do it" The voice told Ruby as Ruby's hand went from shaking to grabbing the blood stained cloth and wanting to put it on. There goes a legend that for someone to be the best, the #1, they must outclass anyone and no matter what they face, grief or sadness or the amount of blood they've lost, they must ignore it. There have been legends with people trying to pursue the title to be the #1 Huntress/Hunter in the world putting on a red piece of cloth to signify that they've accepted the path of becoming a demon and they'll be willing to do anything to obtain that path. Ruby held tighter the once pure white cloth her mother gave her to use to straighten herself now crimson even harder, the anger in her eyes growing. The mischievous voice knew that Ruby wasn't going to listen and knew what was going to happen.

"Damn... there goes the neighborhood" The figure said as Ruby put on the crimson cloth as a headband with the figure laughing maniacally as Ruby was doing so. Once Ruby tied the headband tightly on her head, her once cheerful and bright gray eyes were replaced with rage driven and dark gray eyes with Ruby acknowledging the fact that she has undertaken a path of revenge that has turned most of the people who took it into demons. Ruby didn't care... revenge and getting out from her place of misery was the first on her mind.

Ruby made her way back to the dorm and took everything. She grabbed her cloak, her combat gear and some clothes with the other things other than her cloak going into her rucksack. Ruby made sure to make it as if nothing suspicious was awry was she straightened out her bed and made sure everything was exactly the way it was before everything fell down. Ruby left a rose on her bed before she opened the window and jumped out of it to exit the dorm.

Ruby then remembered memories of her and her mother together. How her and her mother would be spending a lot of time together and the stories her mother told her and how she became such a great huntress that wow'd Ruby. She remembered how her mother mentioned her mentor's name was Akumo and that he only trains that ones that are dedicated to becoming the best. She remembered how her mother would describe the training as quite possibly the toughest with only 4 people coming out of it alive, one of it being her mother. Ruby wasn't scared and the only thought going through her mind was revenge and the urge to get better. Ruby knew with the skills she posessed right now, she wouldn't be able to give a good fight towards the white fang, Cinder, Emerald, Roman, Adam and Mercury. That was Ruby's main goal, which was to defeat them before she fulfilled her revenge which was to kill that poor excuse of a human being which was Neptune. Ruby embarked in her journey, letting go of her connection to her team and family with one thing in her mind: revenge.

After the dance, Weiss, Blake and Yang weren't bothered with Ruby's disappearence. They thought someone made Ruby sad and that she just needed some time to think. Blake and Yang had a marvelous time in the dance, feeling as if their love for one another just reached a new level. For Weiss on the otherhand, the dance was terrible. Yeah she liked Neptune and they did kiss furiously but shortly after that happened, a bunch of girls confronted Neptune, yelling and hitting him for cheating on them with other girls and even with a heiress. Neptune tried to get Weiss by her side when that happened but Weiss felt at that might she made a mistake and proceeded to sucker punch Neptune in the face which ended up giving him a black eye before he left the dance in a hurry.

Days went by and the rest of the team started to worry. A week passed by and a missing person's file was made with posters being posted around the city and the university as well. Yang and Blake tried to find for Ruby in their freetime and even went as far as to ditch class it self at some points just to find for their beloved leader but it was to no avail. Weiss helped them out in their search as well but instead of searching an entire forest and city, she would be spent mostly trying to find clues as to what happened to Ruby. One evening with Blake and Yang out in emerald forest trying to find Ruby, Weiss was in the dorm searching Ruby's bed and desk to see if there was anything that could lead her to her best friend. Ruby's desk was the last thing Weiss wanted to search as she valued privacy and she felt as if it would be too obvious. Weiss opened one of the drawers of the table to only find a red book with a whiterose sticker put on the front. Infront also said, Ruby's diary. Weiss felt wrong for opening another persons diary and seeing their secrets but she really cared for Ruby and she would do anything to bring Ruby back in one piece. Ruby opened the diary and flipped through it to find clues. Weiss read each page to find out gradually that Ruby did harbor feelings for her and Weiss was feeling touched by all the nice things Ruby has said about her in her diary. The last page stopped Weiss's heart as the only thing written on it was the word Vengeance was only written on it, nothing gave a clue as to where Ruby was. Weiss hugged the book and hoped Ruby would come back soon and everything would go back as the way it was.

Days turned into weeks and by the third week Ozpin declared Ruby MIA which enraged Yang. What enraged Yang even more was Ozpin was going to assign them a new team leader with WBY refusing. Ozpin was leaniant enough to just let WBY be as they are without a leader but warned that things will get harder from here. The bright dorm room was now a sad dorm room to be in as the bright cheerful energy that uplifted the occupants spirits was missing. Everyone was sad wondering where their beloved friend, sister and leader disappeared to.

Ruby has found the temple her mother was talking about who was the home of her mentor. Getting to the temple was not easy as Ruby had to travel so many places and even climb up one of the tallest mountains of all of remnant just to get to the temple with said mountain having almost a non ending blizzard. Ruby saw a man with red eyes and black armor with long hair looking at her. His face filled with battle scars, most notably a horn on the left side of his head that resembled that of a devil was looking at her. It was silent for a with the stranger breaking it first.

"Are you Summer's daughter... Ruby Rose?"

"Yes I am"

"My Name is Akumo, let the games begin" He said as his temple doors opened with him graciously entering Ruby into it. A lot of people have walked into this temple and only four of them walked out alive.

"Hope this Rose doesn't get pruned.. be a shame for Summer to see her daughter die before she's able to become great" Akumo thought as he closed the temple doors with thoughts of what will the former pure rose will become once she's rebuilt with anger instead of love in her heart.

There ya go :D A nice omake story. This story idea has been in my mind since literallly sophomore year of highschool. I'm in college now so its been a long time since I've been thinking about it. The reason why I didn't write it yet is because I wanted to develop a more mature thinking before exploring a story like this and as you get older your taste changes and looking back to what it was when it first came to my head, its better now than how it was before.. lets leave it to that. I might expand this through Omake's or basically make a new story in general but all I know is that making this story was not only enraging but also fun :) I felt a connection with Ruby and although I cant connect with her fully with her journey being that big, I can at least connect with her and her thinking and what we will become once we shed what we lost. There's so many things I want to write about this story if I do expand on it but I have even more for rebuilding the broken. Now that I made room, let the writing continue! Thank you for reading :) Rebuilding the broken will be coming back with the new chapter coming soon :) Let me know what you guys think of this Omake! I hope you guys summer has been nothing but marvelous so far and have a good one ^.^
