Episode 398: Power Rangers Samurai Squad: Origins: Part I

In Panorama City, a young boy is playing when several Moogers appear.

"Hold it right there, Moogers" said a voice and they turn to see the Red Samurai Squad Ranger and Ji

"Get the boy to safety" said the Red Samurai Squad Ranger and Ji takes the boy away "Spin Sword, Blazing Strike!" and he quickly cuts down the Moogers

"Well done Jayden" said Ji

"Thank you, Mentor" said Jayden

"I believe it is time to form a new team" said Ji

"Yes, it is" said Jayden

In the Sanzu River, Octoroo and Dayu are on a ship when a portal opens and Xandred steps out

"Oo-ah-oo" said Octoroo "Master Xandred how are you?"

"The Dark One freed me" said Xandred "but he wouldn't let me go to the surface yet. He placed a curse on me and said if I ever go to the surface I will dry out and be sealed back in the Abyss"

"The Samurai Squad has returned" said Octoroo

"Then I will have Tooya destroy them before they can do me any harm" said Xandred

Elsewhere, before a swim meet an older man gives his teenage son a blue hexagon with the kanji for water on it.

"Kevin" said the man "as I told you many years ago, you are destined to be the Blue Samurai Squad Ranger. The time is near, and this will be your Zord"

"Thank you, Father" said Kevin

Elsewhere, a teenage girl plays with orphans, wondering when she will be able to see her own family again

At an arcade, a teenage boy plays games with his friends

Outside of a farmhouse, a teenage girl plays the flute

At the Shiba House, Jayden and Ji are talking

"Master Xandred will return soon" said Ji

"Summon the others" said Jayden and Ji fires four arrows with messages tied to them in the air. The arrows are colored blue, green, yellow, and pink.

At a Burger King, the teenage boy from the arcade is eating a burger when a green arrow strikes it. The boy reads it

"I've got to go" he tells his friends and races off

At the farmhouse, the teenage girl continues to play her flute when a yellow arrow strike a nearby bale of hay. She reads the message and races off

At the swim meet, a blue arrow almost hits Kevin right before the meet starts. Kevin reads the message, gets out of the pool and races off.

At the Wind Ninja Academy, a pink arrow is headed for Cam when he catches it

"I need to tell Ji to work on his aim" said Cam as he reads the message

"What is it, Cameron?" Sensei asked

"Ji says its time to form the Samurai Squad" said Cam

"I sense you do not want to go" said Sensei "you'd be a great asset to the team, you're already a full-fledged, battle-trained Samurai"

"Yes" said Cam "but it's Mia's time to shine, and besides green is more my color"

"Very well" said Sensei "let's go get your sister"

Elsewhere, Mia is still playing with the orphans when she sees two familiar faces

"Dad? Cam?" Mia asked and she rushed to hug them "what are you doing here?"

"It's time form the Samurai Squad" said Sensei

"Congratulations Cam" said Mia "you get to be a Ranger once again"

"No, Mia" said Cam "it's your time" and he hands her the Turtle Foldingzord

"But… but" said Mia "you have so much more experience"

"It's time for you to gain some" said Cam

"But, Dad" said Mia "you sent me away after Lothor returned to keep me safe, now you're going to throw me into the middle of a war?"

"You were younger then" said Sensei "and I was more foolish. Seeing Cam become a Ranger taught me that I can't hold you back from your destiny just because I am a worried father. Now go, and be safe"

"I will" said Mia and she left

"I'll have Cyber Cam monitor Panorama City" said Cam

"Thank you, my son" said Sensei

In Panorama City, Kevin gets in a SUV and sees Mia

"The Red Ranger's a girl?" Kevin asked

"I'm not the Red Ranger" said Mia "I'm pink, my name's Mia"

"I'm Kevin" said Kevin

At the Shiba House, two SUVs arrive, with Kevin and Mia getting out of one, and the two other teenagers getting out of the other

"Are either of you the Red Ranger?" Kevin asked

"No, I'm Mikey, the Green Ranger" said Mikey

"And I'm Emily, the Yellow Ranger" said Emily as Jayden rides up on a white horse

"Now that's the Red Ranger" said Mikey

"I'm Jayden, the Red Ranger" said Jayden as he gets off of the horse. He opens a box, revealing the four Samuraizers "If you take these and choose to follow me, there's no turning back" and the others hesitate, but grab the Samuraizers "there's trouble in the city, let's go!" and they race to the city

In Panorama City, the teens arrive to see Tooya and Moogers attacking the city

"SAMURAIZERS!" said Jayden as they each draw their respective Symbol "GO GO SAMURAI! SAMURAI OF FIRE!"

"SAMURAI OF WATER!" said Kevin

"SAMURAI OF FOREST!" said Mikey

"SAMURAI OF EARTH!" said Emily

"SAMURAI OF AIR!" said Mia

"RANGERS TOGETHER, SAMURAI FOREVER!" said the Samurai Squad

"Spin Swords!" said Jayden and they fight the Moogers. Jayden spins the disc on his Spin Sword "Fire Smasher!" and his Spin Sword turns into the Fire Smasher and he destroys some Moogers. The other Rangers spin the discs on their Spin Swords

"Hydro Bow!" said Kevin

"Forest Spear!" said Mikey

"Earth Slicer!" said Emily

"Sky Fan!" said Mia and they help finish off the Moogers and the Nighlok, which grows

"Because the Nighlok live in the Sanzu River" said Jayden "they are given a second life to make them grow, without any other help. We need to use Mega Mode to face them" and they all take out their Samuraizers and Foldingzords and draw the Symbol for Mega Mode on them "MEGA MODE POWER!" and their Foldingzords grow and unfold as Mega Mode appears on all of them and turns their Spin Swords into Mega Blades "RED MEGA SAMURAI RANGER! LION FOLDINGZORD!"

"BLUE MEGA SAMURAI RANGER!" said Kevin "DRAGON FOLDINGZORD!"

"GREEN MEGA SAMURAI RANGER!" said Mikey "BEAR FOLDINGZORD!"

"YELLOW MEGA SAMURAI RANGER!" said Emily "APE FOLDINGZORD!"

"PINK MEGA SAMURAI RANGER!" said Mia "TURTLE FOLDINGZORD!" and they enter their Zords and place the Mega Blades in the console and attach their Zords' Power Discs. The Bear Foldingzord attacks Tooya with its claws, the Ape Foldingzord with its fists, and the Dragon Foldingzord throws the Turtle Foldingzord at it like a disc

"MEGA BLADE, ACTIVATE!" said Jayden "KATANA POWER! PENTAGONAL FURY!" and the Lion Foldingzord turns into a flaming missile a pierces right through Tooya, sealing it into the Abyss "Samurai Rangers, victory is ours"

At the Shiba House, the teens celebrate their victory
