Episode 405: Power Rangers Samurai Squad: Team Spirit

At the Shiba House, the teens minus Emily are decorating for her birthday when the Gap Sensor goes off.

"Splitface is attacking the city" said Mentor "go stop it, I'll alert Emily"

In Panorama City, Splitface is attacking when the teens run up

"SAMURAIZERS!" said Jayden as they each draw their respective Symbol "GO GO SAMURAI!"

"SAMURAI MORPHER!" said Antonio as he types 54448 into the Samurai Morpher and then hits the center button and the Symbol for Light appears "GOLD POWER!"

"SAMURAI OF FIRE!" said Jayden

"SAMURAI OF WATER!" said Kevin

"SAMURAI OF FOREST!" said Mikey

"SAMURAI OF EARTH!" said Emily

"SAMURAI OF AIR!" said Mia

"SAMURAI OF LIGHT!" said Antonio

"RANGERS TOGETHER, SAMURAI FOREVER!" said the Samurai Squad

"Spin Swords!" said Jayden

"Barracuda Blade!" said Antonio and they fight Splitface. Splitface blasts Emily, demorphing her, and then sucks her soul out of her

"You have 24 hours to defeat me" said Splitface "or the Yellow Ranger's soul, along with the souls of the 54 other people I've taken, will be mine for all eternity. Oh, and I'm not coming back" and he goes through a gap to escape back to the Sanzu River.

At the Shiba House, the teens are talking to Ji about what happened

"What the Nighlok told you was only partly true" said Mentor "in 24 hours, if it isn't destroyed, the souls it has captured will be released into the afterlife, going wherever they were destined to go"

"So you're saying we have 24 hours to seal the Nighlok, or Emily dies?" Mikey asked

"Yes" said Mentor

"Isn't there anything we can do?" Mia asked

"Antonio" said Mentor "I've got an old damaged Zord, the Clawzord, if you can get it working again, it might be able to fish Splitface out of the Sanzu River"

"Take me to it" said Antonio and he leaves with Ji

"So we're just going to sit here waiting for a long shot?" Mikey asked

"No" said Jayden "let's go back to the site of the battle" said Jayden and they leave

In Panorama City, Mikey is taunting the Nighlok

"Come out you coward!" said Mikey "come out and fight me!"

"There is a way for you to save your friend" said a voice and they turn to see Deker

"How?" Mikey asked

"If you give up your own soul and become a Nighlok" said Deker "you will be able to enter the Sanzu River to seal the Nighlok"

"I'll do it" said Mikey

"No" said Jayden "Emily wouldn't want us to do that"

"He's right" said Mikey "why don't you go destroy it?"

"Because that is not what I do" said Deker

"There's got to be another way" said Mikey

"There is one other way" said Deker "if one of you are willing to lay down your lives for her, you can take Emily's place, a life for a life"

"I'll do it" said Mikey

"Wait, Mikey" said Jayden "maybe Antonio has finished the Clawzord" and he pulls out his Samuraizer and calls Antonio "Is the Clawzord finished?"

"I'm almost done" said Antonio "but I'm afraid I won't be able to finish it in time"

"That settles it" said Mikey and he turns to Deker "what do I have to do to exchange my life for hers?"

"Wait, Mikey" said Mentor through the Samuraizers "a massive gap is opening in the city, I think a giant Splitface is coming out" and sure enough he did

"How did that happen?" Kevin asked

"I don't know" said Jayden "let's just thank God that it did" and Antonio ran up holding a small Zord

"Guys" said Antonio "it's ready"

"You take this one, Antonio" said Jayden "we can't form the Megazord without Emily"

"MEGA MODE POWER!" said Antonio and he types 6342 into his Samurai Morpher and hits the center button and then Symbol for Mega Mode appears and makes the Clawzord grow as Mega Mode appears on him and turns his Barracuda Blade into a Mega Blade "GOLD MEGA SAMURAI RANGER! SAMURAI CLAWZORD!" and the Clawzord attacks Splitface with its claws "CLAW BATTLEZORD: EAST!" and he spins the Clawzord Disc on the console, generating another console with a giant disc with four faces on it "CLAW PINCHER SLASH!" and the Claw Battlezord: East attacks Splitface with its claws "CLAW BATTLEZORD: WEST!" and he spins the giant disc and the Claw Battlezord: West hits Splitface with its fan "CLAW BATTLEZORD: SOUTH!" and he spins the giant disc "MEGA BLADE, ACTIVATE! KATANA POWER! DOUBLE KATANA STRIKE!" and the attack seals the Nighlok in the Abyss and frees the captured souls

At the Shiba House, everyone is celebrating Emily's birthday and Antonio introduces the Octozord to the Clawzord

"What was it like being captured?" Mikey asked

"It felt like a dream" said Emily "everything was fuzzy and I don't remember much"

"Remember what happened to Splitface?" Jayden asked

"Not really" said Emily "I thought I saw a bright glowing light followed by a Red Ranger, but I think that was just a part of the dream"

Outside of Panorama City, Deker senses another presence

"You ended Splitface's first life, didn't you?" Deker asked

"Yes" said a voice

"I didn't think you could enter the Sanzu River" said Deker

"I am capable, its just my kind are generally not allowed down there" said the other man "but the Nighlok also aren't allowed to bring human souls down there either. I was permitted to enter the River to restore the balance"

"Where were you all those years ago when I needed the balance restored?" Deker asked and he heard the other man sigh

"I am sorry my team and I weren't there for you back then" said the other man "but it was a different time, we were the only team, we couldn't be in two places at once"

"And you lost your best friend because of it" said Deker and the other man teleported away
