Episode 416: Power Rangers Samurai Squad: Fight Fire with Fire

On the Sanzu River, Octoroo recruits another Nighlok to help them defeat the Rangers

"Oo-ah-oo" said Octoroo "Fiera, with your power over fire, you should be able to kill the Head of the Shiba Clan with one shot"

In the Shiba House, the Gap Sensor goes off and the teens rush to battle.

"SAMURAIZERS!" said Jayden as they each draw their respective Symbol "GO GO SAMURAI!"

"SAMURAI MORPHER!" said Antonio as he types 54448 into the Samurai Morpher and then hits the center button and the Symbol for Light appears "GOLD POWER!"

"SAMURAI OF FIRE!" said Jayden

"SAMURAI OF WATER!" said Kevin

"SAMURAI OF FOREST!" said Mikey

"SAMURAI OF EARTH!" said Emily

"SAMURAI OF AIR!" said Mia

"SAMURAI OF LIGHT!" said Antonio

"RANGERS TOGETHER, SAMURAI FOREVER!" said the Samurai Squad

"Spin Swords!" said Jayden

"Barracuda Blade!" said Antonio and they attack Fiera. Fiera blasts Jayden and he demorphs instantly

"Jayden!" said Emily

"That blast shouldn't have demorphed him" said Antonio

"Because of my power over fire" said Fiera "my blast can instantly kill the Head of the Shiba Clan"

"No!" said Emily and she checked Jayden's pulse "he's still alive, barely, but he is alive"

"What?!" Fiera asked "this is not possible"

"Let's finish her" said Emily takes the Black Box Morpher from Jayden and tosses it to Kevin "do it!"

"SUPER SAMURAI MODE!" said Kevin "Blue Super Samurai Ranger! Super Spin Sword!" and he draws the Spin Sword, attaches the Black Box Morpher to it, removes the Super Disc from the Black Box Morpher and places it on the Spin Sword, and then places the Dragon Disc inside the Black Box Morpher "SUPER DRAGON SPLASH!" and the attack destroys Fiera, who grows

"MEGA MODE POWER!" said Kevin and they all take out their Morphers and Zords and the core 4 draw the Symbol for Mega Mode on their Zords while Antonio types 6342 into his Samurai Morpher and hits the center button and then Symbol for Mega Mode appears over his Zord. The Zords grow as Mega Mode appears on all of them and turns their swords into Mega Blades "BLUE SUPER MEGA SAMURAI RANGER!" said Kevin "DRAGON FOLDINGZORD!"

"GREEN MEGA SAMURAI RANGER!" said Mikey "BEAR FOLDINGZORD!"

"YELLOW MEGA SAMURAI RANGER!" said Emily "APE FOLDINGZORD!"

"PINK MEGA SAMURAI RANGER!" said Mia "TURTLE FOLDINGZORD!"

"GOLD MEGA SAMURAI RANGER!" said Antonio "SAMURAI CLAWZORD! CLAW BATTLEZORD: EAST!" and they battle Fiera, but can't beat her.

On the ground, Jayden groans in pain as someone runs up, but he can't quite make it out who it is, as he can barely keep his eyes open because of the pain

"Don't worry, Jayden" said the woman "I've got this" and she takes the Lion Disc and Emblem from him before pulling out what looks like a Samuraizer, but is a bit different "GO GO SAMURAI!" and she morphs into the Red Samurai Squad Ranger "SAMURAI OF FIRE! MEGA MODE POWER!" and she uses her Morpher to draw the Symbol for Mega Mode on the Lion Emblem. It unfolds and grows into the Lion Foldingzord and Mega Mode appears on the new Red Ranger "RED MEGA SAMURAI RANGER! LION FOLDINGZORD!"

"Who's that?" Kevin asked

"The Red Ranger, but how?" Fiera asked

"You know what?" the Red Ranger asked "hair like yours need a good blow-dry. MEGA BLADE, ACTIVATE! KATANA POWER! PENTAGONAL FURY!" and the Lion Foldingzord turns into a flaming missile that pierces right through Fiera, sealing her instantly "Samurai Rangers, victory is ours"

Meanwhile on the ground, Octoroo appears

"Oo-ah-oo" said Octoroo "there may be another Red Ranger, but I can't do any harm in killing this one" and he prepares to run Jayden through, when he is blasted back… by another Red Ranger, although clearly not a samurai "you're not suppose to be here"

"Why not?" the Red Ranger asked "I am sworn to protect the Shiba Clan. Now, get out of here, or I will seal you into the Abyss with your friend up there"

"You'll pay for this, angel" said Octoroo and he left as the other Rangers run up to Jayden and the Red Samurai Squad Ranger joins the other Red Ranger. Emily points at the other Red Ranger

"You" said Emily "it was you who destroyed Splitface in the Sanzu River"

"Who are you guys?" Kevin asked

"Power Down" said the Red Samurai Squad Ranger, and they both demorph revealing a young woman and an middle-aged man

"Lauren, Michael" said Jayden "good to see you again"

"It's good to see you too, young Jayden" said Michael

"Hey, little brother" said Lauren

"Brother?" Mikey asked

"We need to get him back to the Shiba House" said Michael and he teleports them all back

In Jayden's room, Lauren is tending to Jayden

"I was so proud when I saw you fight yesterday" said Lauren "you've grown into a true samurai"

"You were the one who tore up the battlefield" said Jayden "you were amazing"

"Here, have some more green tea" said Lauren "I thought of you often over the years. I imagined that, like me, you must have felt very alone"

"Yes, but I've learned to trust my friends" said Jayden "they've become like brothers and sisters to me too"

"I'm so glad" said Lauren "I hope I can become part of the family too. You, me, surrounded by friends"

"Lauren" said Jayden "you know we can't be together now"

"I had hoped that maybe there would be some way" said Lauren

"I always knew this day would come" said Jayden "you are now the Red Ranger. You must take your place as their leader. The only way for that to happen is for me to leave"

"Jayden…" said Lauren

"The Sealing Power is the only way to save the world" said Jayden "it must be protected and it means protecting you at all costs. They're too loyal to me. If I stay... If I stay, dangerous mistakes could be made. But I can't let that happen"

"Are you sure?" Lauren asked

"There can be only one Red Ranger" said Jayden

Later that day, the Rangers minus Jayden are outside the Shiba House talking to Lauren, Mikey admiring her Morpher

"Wow, this is classic" said Mikey "I could write kanji symbols like a master with this thing"

"I wouldn't go that far" said Emily "Mikey has kanji issues"

"Hey!" said Mikey

"That's the Morpher my father used to fight his final battle with" said Lauren and Mikey hands her back the Morpher

"So how come we've never heard of you before?" Antonio asked

"After our parents battle with Master Xandred" said Lauren "it was decided that I would train to use the Sealing Symbol in secret while Jayden fought the Nighlok and posed as the Head of the Shiba Clan"

"I guarded Lauren over these years" said Michael "making sure she was trained not only as a samurai and how to use the Sealing Symbol, but making sure she knew all the ways of God as well"

"Actually being raised by the archangel himself must have done wonders for your faith" said Emily

"You'd think" said Lauren as Jayden walks out and hands Lauren a box. Lauren opened it, revealing the Black Box Morpher, the Lion Emblem, the Lion, Tiger, Bull, Lightning, Bullzooka, Super, Shogun, Shark, Claw Armor, and Ultrazord Discs"

"Jayden, what are you…" began Emily as they all realized what was happening

"Jayden, you can't go" said Mia "you know how we all feel"

"I know" said Jayden "but Lauren alone has the Sealing Symbol. She's able to do what I could never do. End this fight, bring peace. You all need to rally around her"

"We need you too" said Antonio "Lauren, tell him. Well, go on, tell him" but Lauren was silent

"Mentor, what is this?" Mikey asked "Jayden's leaving. How can you keep this from us? Come on! Make him stay"

"You can't stop him" said Mentor "No one can"

"Ji, you've been my guiding light" said Jayden "Thank you for everything. Mikey, Emily, Mia, Antonio, Kevin, it's been honor to fight by your side"

"I'm going with you" said Kevin

"You're a Samurai Ranger" said Jayden "I'm counting on you stay and fight by my sister's side. I know you'll make her as proud of you as you made me" and he leaves as Ji looks on and asks himself whether or not he should give Jayden the device Cam gave him, but decided Jayden needed to leave for a time while the others adjusted to Lauren. Maybe he could bring him back later

"It was Jayden who brought us together" said Emily "somehow, fighting next to him made me a stronger warrior"

"So what are we supposed to do?" Mikey asked "just forget about him like he never existed?"

"Of course not" said Lauren

"Mikey, you heard what Jayden said" said Kevin "we have a duty as samurai"
