Episode 417: Power Rangers Samurai Squad: The Great Duel

At the Shiba House, the Gap Sensor goes off

"Let's go guys" said Lauren as the others reluctantly follow her to the city

In Panorama City, the teens arrive to see Gigertox and Moogers attacking the city

"SHIBA MORPHER!" said Lauren

"SAMURAIZERS!" said Kevin as they each draw their respective Symbol "GO GO SAMURAI!"

"SAMURAI MORPHER!" said Antonio as he types 54448 into the Samurai Morpher and then hits the center button and the Symbol for Light appears "GOLD POWER!"

"SAMURAI OF FIRE!" said Lauren

"SAMURAI OF WATER!" said Kevin

"SAMURAI OF FOREST!" said Mikey

"SAMURAI OF EARTH!" said Emily

"SAMURAI OF AIR!" said Mia

"SAMURAI OF LIGHT!" said Antonio

"RANGERS TOGETHER, SAMURAI FOREVER!" said the Samurai Squad

"Spin Swords!" said Lauren

"Barracuda Blade!" said Antonio and they battle the Nighlok

In the woods outside of Panorama City, Jayden is wandering when he hears a familiar voice

"So that's why I didn't die" said Deker "I can only be defeated by the true Head of the Shiba Clan, which is your sister, not you. So I suppose your sister will be the one to die instead of you"

"You leave my sister alone" said Jayden

"Oh, I'll let her do her Sealing Symbol first" said Deker "I don't like Xandred anymore than you do. But once he is gone, then she dies"

"Over my dead body" said Jayden

"All right, I'm flexible" said Deker and he turns into his Nighlok form. Jayden pulls out his Samuraizer

"SAMURAIZER!" said Jayden "GO GO SAMURAI!" and he draws the kanji for fire, but the morph fails to activate "What?"

"You can't morph when your sister's already morphed" said Deker "Project Hexagon didn't want to cause a glitch in the Morphing Grid, so they put in a device into both your Morphers that would prevent one of you from morphing while the other is already morphed"

"I don't need my Powers to defeat you" said Jayden as he uses his Samuraizer to draw the kanji for sword, and a sword appears

"So, how does it feel?" Deker asked

"How does what feel?" Jayden asked

"To finally be alone" said Deker "Free from the burden of being expected to save the world. I knew we had something in common the moment I met you. Hiding that secret made you twisted like me"

"We have nothing in common" said Jayden

"Maybe you don't think so" said Deker "but I can see it in your eyes, the same need to fight, the need to prove yourself worthy of being the Red Samurai.

"You were never the Red Samurai" said Jayden, but Deker ignored him

"We're both tormented by fates we didn't choose" said Deker

"I know one thing" said Jayden "the world would be a better without you, Deker. Perhaps this is my destiny. It's time to finish this once and for all"

"A duel to the end?" said Deker

"Your end!" said Jayden as he attacked Deker

"You can't kill me" said Deker "only your sister can. But I can certainly kill you"

In Panorama City, the Samurai Squad continues to fight Gigertox

"SUPER SAMURAI MODE!" said Lauren "Red Super Samurai Ranger! Super Spin Sword!" and she draws the Spin Sword, attaches the Black Box Morpher to it, removes the Super Disc from the Black Box Morpher and places it on the Spin Sword, and then places the Lion Disc inside the Black Box Morpher "SUPER BLAZING STRIKE!" and the attack destroyed Gigertox, who then grew

"MEGA MODE POWER!" said Lauren and they all take out their Morphers and Zords and the core 5 draw the Symbol for Mega Mode on their Zords while Antonio types 6342 into his Samurai Morpher and hits the center button and then Symbol for Mega Mode appears over his Zord. The Zords grow as Mega Mode appears on all of them and turns their swords into Mega Blades "RED SUPER MEGA SAMURAI RANGER! LION FOLDINGZORD! BULLZORD!"

"BLUE MEGA SAMURAI RANGER!" said Kevin "DRAGON FOLDINGZORD!"

"GREEN MEGA SAMURAI RANGER!" said Mikey "BEAR FOLDINGZORD!"

"YELLOW MEGA SAMURAI RANGER!" said Emily "APE FOLDINGZORD!"

"PINK MEGA SAMURAI RANGER!" said Mia "TURTLE FOLDINGZORD!"

"GOLD MEGA SAMURAI RANGER!" said Antonio "SAMURAI CLAWZORD!"

"SAMURAI MEGAZORD, WE ARE UNITED!" said Kevin and the Zords combine into the Samurai Megazord

"CLAW BATTLEZORD: EAST!" said Antonio

"BULL MEGAZORD!" said Lauren and the three Megazords battle Gigertox, but can't beat it "TIGER ZORD!" as Lauren and the male Rangers remove their discs from the console and put the auxiliary discs on it

"SWORDFISH ZORD!" said Kevin

"BEETLE ZORD!" said Mikey

"OCTOZORD!" said Antonio

"SAMURAI ULTRAZORD, WE ARE UNITED!" said Lauren "SHOGUN MODE! RED SHOGUN RANGER! SHOGUN SPEAR! SHOGUN SPEAR, ACTIVATE!"

"MEGA BLADE, ACTIVATE!" said Kevin

"KATANA POWER!" said Lauren "ULTIMATE SAMURAI STRIKE!" and the attacks seals the Nighlok into the Abyss of Evil

In the woods, Jayden and Deker continue to battle, until Deker has Jayden at the end of his sword

"You fought well, Red Ranger" said Deker "I will grant you a swift end" and he goes to run Jayden through when he feels pain in his abdomen and looks to see a sword going through him and he realizes which sword it is "Excelsior" and he turns to see the Red Ancient Ranger wielding it "Michael?"

"Sorry, old friend" said Michael "but I am sworn to protect the Shiba Clan, and you we're about to kill one of them" and a portal opens to the Abyss and sucks a demon out of Deker's body, which then collapses

"What just happened?" Jayden asked "I thought only Lauren could kill Deker"

"That wasn't quite true" said Michael "while in general, yes, only your sister could kill Deker, but because Deker was possessed by a demon, and that demon was the only thing that could keep Deker alive, I could use Excelsior to instantly seal the demon in the Abyss, causing Deker to die"

"Could we use Excelsior to seal Xandred in the Abyss" said Jayden

"You could" said Michael "but I won't allow it, for if Excelsior fell into the wrong hands, all could be lost" and he holds Excelsior in the air, and it teleports away

"Who was Deker anyway, he seemed like he knew you?" Jayden asked

"During the Great Battle, 4,000 years ago" said Michael "Deker was a great warrior for God. One day, he fell in battle and died. His wife, Dahlia made a deal with the King of the Nighlok, in exchange for her soul, he would resurrect Deker. She accepted the deal and became a Nighlok. However, demons cannot truly bring back the dead, a Nighlok simply possessed Deker's body and took control of it. Now, young Jayden, I believe it will soon be time Xandred to return, and we should return home, you will be needed in the final battle"
