Episode 418: Power Rangers Samurai Squad: The Sealing Symbol

In the Sanzu River, Xandred returns to his ship and absorbs Dayu and her humanity with it, stopping him from drying out when he goes to the surface

In the Shiba House, the Gap Sensor goes off

"Rangers" said Mentor "Master Xandred is attacking"

"It's time" said Lauren "let's go team"

"Yes, lets" said Jayden, as he pulls out a sword

"You're coming too?" Emily asked and Jayden nodded

"As am I" said Mentor "Cam upgraded my Samuraizer to enable me to morph" and they race to the battle

Outside of Panorama City, the teens meet with Master Xandred and the Moogers

"SHIBA MORPHER!" said Lauren

"SAMURAIZERS!" said Kevin as they each draw their respective Symbol "GO GO SAMURAI!"

"SAMURAI MORPHER!" said Antonio as he types 54448 into the Samurai Morpher and then hits the center button and the Symbol for Light appears "GOLD POWER!"

"SAMURAI OF FIRE!" said Lauren

"SAMURAI OF WATER!" said Kevin

"SAMURAI OF FOREST!" said Mikey

"SAMURAI OF EARTH!" said Emily

"SAMURAI OF AIR!" said Mia

"SAMURAI OF LIGHT!" said Antonio

"BROWN SAMURAI POWER!" said Mentor, whose suit was a brown version of the other Rangers, with the kanji for samurai on his helmet and wielded a Spin Sword

"RANGERS TOGETHER, SAMURAI FOREVER!" said the Samurai Squad

"Jayden, Mentor" said Lauren "hold off the Moogers"

"Right" said Jayden

"Spin Sword!" said Mentor and they fought the Moogers

"Where is the Red Ranger that deceived me all this time?" Xandred asked "I want him! Red Ranger!"

"Careful guys" said Kevin "Keep your distance!"

"Over here!" said Lauren "I am the Red Ranger, and your downfall. Today you will be sealed, permanently"

"Ha" said Xandred "What can a little girl like you do? Today is the end of the Rangers"

"The only thing ending is you" said Lauren as she turned to the others "Guys, it'll take some time to draw the Sealing Symbol, so I need you to hold Xandred off until I can complete it. Kevin, take the Black Box Morpher. Mikey, take the Shark Disc" and she hands the items to them, and then jumps up on a ledge away from the battle, takes out her Shiba Morpher and begins to draw the Sealing Symbol

"SUPER SAMURAI MODE!" said Kevin "Blue Super Samurai Ranger!

"SHARK ATTACK MODE!" said Mikey "Green Samurai Squad Ranger: Shark Attack Mode!"

"Super Spin Sword!" said Kevin and he draws the Spin Sword, attaches the Black Box Morpher to it, removes the Super Disc from the Black Box Morpher and places it on the Spin Sword, and then places the Dragon Disc inside the Black Box Morpher

"Shark Sword!" said Mikey

"Spin Swords!" said Emily and Mia

"Barracuda Blade!" said Antonio "Let's do this" and they all attack him. They all strike him at once, but don't leave a mark. Xandred uses his super speed to smash through them and knock them down.

"I have no business with your small fish" said Xandred and he looks to Lauren "but you…" and the others get up to try to hold him back

"I've been training my whole life for this" said Lauren as she continues to draw the Sealing Symbol. Antonio goes to stop Xandred and Xandred slashes him across the chest, sending him flying

"Antonio!" said Mia. Mikey locks swords with Xandred as Kevin and Antonio approach him

"Mikey" said Antonio "break free if you can" and Mikey does as Kevin and Antonio go to strike Xandred. Xandred knocks Kevin back as he knocks Antonio down, and holds a sword at his throat

"You shouldn't get it my way" said Xandred and he prepares to kill Antonio as the others run at him, but he blasts them back "now as for you" and he prepares to strike Antonio, but the Lightzord hits Xandred, knocking him back and freeing Antonio.

"Nice job" said Antonio "way to bring it, LZ" but Xandred hits Lightzord, who falls to the ground "Lightzord! C'mon, we've got to keep the pressure on him"

"SUPER SPIN SWORD!" said Kevin

"SHARK SWORD!" said Mikey

"STRIKE!" said Kevin and Mikey in unison and they strike Xandred, but he simply shrugs off the attack, charges up his sword and sends a strike that demorphs them all

"Pathetic" said Xandred as he turns his attention to Lauren, who has just about completed the Sealing Symbol

"This is for you, Father" said Lauren "SEALING SYMBOL!" and she launches at Xandred who goes flying and collapses

"You did it!" said Mikey

"I did" said Lauren, but then Xandred gets back up

"What?!" the Samurai Squad asked

"How is this possible?" Lauren asked

"You didn't have the faith to Power the attack, Red Ranger" said Xandred "you never really did, did you?"

"I'll show you faith" said Lauren "Spin Sword!" and she attacks him, but he grabs her wrist and breaks her arm, and then throws her to the ground, demorphing her.

"Lauren!" said Jayden and he runs up with his Samuraizer, but as he's drawing the kanji for fire, Xandred cuts his Samuraizer in two and then blasts Ji and demorphs him

"Nice try" said Xandred "but now it is time for your end" and he prepares to strike them, when he is blasted back. He turns to see the Red Ancient Ranger wielding his Double Dragon Swords

"Leave them alone" said Michael

"You can't seal me away with those" said Xandred

"You wanna bet?" Michael asked

"Yes" said Xandred and he charges up an attack

"We're leaving" said Michael and they teleport back to the Shiba House

At the Shiba House, everyone lands

"What just happened?" Mikey asked

"It's just as Xandred said" said Michael "the Sealing Symbol didn't work, because Lauren doesn't have faith in God"

"I believe in God" said Lauren "how could I not, I was raised by you, the archangel Michael"

"Belief is not the same thing as faith" said Michael "have you ever repented of your sins?"

"What sins?" Lauren asked

"Arrogance for one" said Mikey

"Shut up, Mikey" said Kevin

"You never would have let me get away with sins" said Lauren

"While it's true I never let you get away with any external sins" said Michael "I couldn't prevent you from committing internal ones"

"I think my hard work training my whole life to draw the Sealing Symbol more than made up for any internal sins I may have committed" said Lauren

"You aren't saved by works, but by grace" said Michael "and until you learn that, you have learned nothing" and he turns to the others "I will be back with a weapon to defeat Xandred, as there isn't enough time to teach Jayden the Sealing Symbol" and he teleports away in red light

That night, Lauren is watching the stars when Jayden approaches her

"Hey, sis" said Jayden

"Hey, Jayden" said Lauren

"How are you doing?" Jayden asked

"Truthfully" said Lauren "not well. I failed at the one task I trained my entire life for. I then found out my mentor thinks I'm not good enough for Heaven"

"You're not" said Jayden "none of us are, for all have sinned"

"And fallen short of the glory of God" said Lauren "I've heard it a thousand times. I guess I just don't get it"

"I could try to explain it to you" said Jayden

"I don't think you can" said Lauren "I've heard the message from the archangel Michael himself my entire life, this isn't intellectual anymore. I thought I had repented, but I guess deep down I didn't really believe I was that guilty, and thus never really repented"

"There's no time like the present" said Jayden

"I think… I think I need more time to figure this out" said Lauren "and I need to figure it out on my own" and she pulls out the Shiba Morpher "take it, the Samurai Squad needs you to lead them, not me" and he takes it

The next morning, Xandred gathers a massive army of Moogers

At the Shiba House, the Gap Sensor goes off

"Master Xandred is back" said Jayden

"Michael isn't back yet" said Mentor

"We'll have to do it without him" said Jayden

"I'll stay here to protect Lauren" said Mentor "I'm not sure if the protection symbols will be able to withstand Xandred" and the teens race off

In Panorama City, the teens arrive to battle Xandred

"SHIBA MORPHER!" said Jayden

"SAMURAIZERS!" said Kevin as they each draw their respective Symbol "GO GO SAMURAI!"

"SAMURAI MORPHER!" said Antonio as he types 54448 into the Samurai Morpher and then hits the center button and the Symbol for Light appears "GOLD POWER!"

"SAMURAI OF FIRE!" said Jayden

"SAMURAI OF WATER!" said Kevin

"SAMURAI OF FOREST!" said Mikey

"SAMURAI OF EARTH!" said Emily

"SAMURAI OF AIR!" said Mia

"SAMURAI OF LIGHT!" said Antonio

"RANGERS TOGETHER, SAMURAI FOREVER!" said the Samurai Squad

"Spin Swords!" said Jayden

"Barracuda Blade!" said Antonio and they fight their way through the Moogers.

"SUPER SAMURAI MODE!" said Jayden "Red Super Samurai Ranger! Super Spin Sword!" and he draws the Spin Sword, attaches the Black Box Morpher to it, removes the Super Disc from the Black Box Morpher and places it on the Spin Sword, and then places the Lion Disc inside the Black Box Morpher "SUPER BLAZING STRIKE!" and he strikes Xandred, who stumbles back a couple steps, but doesn't fall. Then he blasts the Rangers demorphing them

"Surrender" said Xandred "and I will spare your lives"

"Never" said Jayden

"Very well" said Xandred "Wait here, and then I will pay a visit to your sister. That will break your spirits" and he walks away, leaving the teens with an army of Moogers.
