Andromeda Tonks was standing at her kitchen window, her arms pulled tightly across her body as she looked out at the English countryside when there was a brisk knock at the door. Fingering the wand that was ticked safely in her pocket, Mrs. Tonks answered the door.

A tall man stood at the door, his greying hair ruffled slightly by the wind. "Good Afternoon, Ms. Black." Said Travers, his mouth slowly pulling into a grin as he gave a tip of his imaginary hat. He stepped up to the door, forcing Mrs. Tonks to step back as he edged into the house. He cast a look about the room before waving another man dressed in black inside.

"It's Tonks now." Mrs. Tonks correctly stiffly as Travers looked about the room.

Travers' smile was appropriately apologetic as he looked at her. "Of course. My mistake. Mrs. Tonks, is your husband home?"

"No." said Mrs. Tonks. "Ted stepped out of the house for a bit. Is there some business you have with him?"

"I just wanted to personally give him his invitation to register with the Muggle-Born Registration Commission." Said Travers, pulling an envelope out of his pocket. "As you know, September First is the first day for registration. As a valued member of the community, I wanted to extend an invitation myself." He gave Mrs. Tonks a smile that she did not return.

"Well I'm afraid you've just missed him." Mrs. Tonks said curtly.

"No matter." Said Travers giving a nonchalant shrug. "My associate here will just take a quick look about the house then. Part of a new Ministry policy concerning items of contraband." He gave the figure beside him a nod and the figure disappeared instantly.

Mrs. Tonks breath caught in her throat which Travers seemed to notice. "Might I have a seat?" Travers asked before he moved into the sitting room. Mrs. Tonks didn't say anything as she followed after him.

Travers was greeted by the sight of Tonks and a mysterious man sitting side by side on the couch. They had looked to be in the middle of a conversation but they stopped as soon as Travers entered the room.

"Mr. Travers." Said Tonks, "What a surprise." Her gaze bordered on hostile as she looked at the Death Eater.

"Oh," Said Travers, "This is quite a development." He said, eyeing her slightly protruding stomach.

"If that's a congratulations, then I thank you." Said Tonks.

"And are you the lucky man?" Travers asked, turning toward the tall man. "I'm sure I speak for the entire Ministry when I say we are sorry we missed the wedding."

The tall man had looked slightly distracted, but at Travers words he turned to look at him. His eyes were just as dark as Tonks'. "It was a small affair." He explained graciously. "Tonks and I were old friends from Hogwarts."

"Hm." Said Travers as his eyes raked over the man who didn't flinch under his gaze.

It was then that the other man reappeared beside Travers. He bent in close, whispering something in Travers ear which Travers seemed displeased about. But he nodded his head all the same before smiling to the other inhabitants in the room. "No contraband here." He said. "Thank you for allowing me to check."

"We just want to abide by the rules." Said Tonks.

Travers nodded. "Of course. I'll just leave this here for your husband when he returns." Travers placed the envelope on the table before he moved off to the front door. "I look forward to seeing your husband soon." He said to Mrs. Tonks. "And I'll be sure to let the…Minister know of your happy nuptials." He said to Tonks.

He disappeared as Mrs. Tonks saw them out. It was a few minutes before the tall man stood up and strode to the window, peering out the blinds.

"They're gone." Said Kakashi, his disguise disappearing in a puff of smoke.

Mrs. Tonks breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed onto the couch next to Tonks who placed her hand comfortingly over her mother's. Within a few minutes, they heard footsteps on the staircase and then Ted Tonks appeared in the sitting room.

"That's some magic." He said as he took a seat next to his wife. "I could see him perfectly, but it was as if he couldn't see me."

"Not magic," Explained Kakashi. "An illusion. And you should thank Arthur. He's the one who warned me they would likely be coming after you today. I'm just glad I got here in time."

Mr. Tonks shook his head as he reached toward the table and snatched the envelope before ripping it to shreds. "What a crock." He said, "I dread to think about how many Muggle-borns are actually falling for this nonsense."

"They'll do it because there is no alternative." Said Tonks heatedly as she moved toward the edge of the couch. "The Floo Network is monitored and the borders have been closed!"

"I'm sure there are still many who would like to still believe in the Ministry." Said Mrs. Tonks quietly.

Kakashi sighed, scrubbing a hand over his face. He hoped Naruto and Sai were having better luck than he was.

Harry slammed open the door to Grimmauld Place, ignoring the onslaught of dust as Dumbledore exploded. Naruto startled from his place on the couch where he had been watching the growing crowd of Death Eaters as Harry pulled off the Invisibility Cloak and threw it down beside him.

"Guys, you're not going to believe this!" Harry shouted as he briskly jogged down the stairs into the kitchen, Naruto on his heels.

Ron, Hermione and Sai looked up from the various notes and maps they had been collecting over the past few weeks as Harry slapped a copy of the Daily Prophet down before them.

"Hands washed before dinner, Master Harry." Said Kreacher, as he tended to the stove. After Harry had gifted Kreacher with Regulus's locket, he was much more agreeable toward the group. One could even say he was fond of them.

"What is it?" Asked Ron. Harry gestured angrily to the paper. Peering down, the wizards and ninja made out the headline.

SEVERUS SNAPE CONFIRMED HEADMASTER OF HOGWARTS

"No!" Ron exclaimed as Hermione put a hand over her mouth.

Harry nodded grimly and pulled up a chair. Ron and Hermione quickly scanned the article, taking in the details. "At least we know where he is." Said Ron at last.

Hermione shook her head. "Snape in Dumbledore's office…" Then her eyes widened. "Merlin's pants!" She shrieked as she flew out of her chair and raced up the stairs.

Naruto made a face. "Merlin's pants? What does that even mean?"

Then Kreacher came bustling over with a large pot of Naruto's request: ramen. His mouth was practically watering as Kreacher ladled some into his bowl.

"Itadakimasu!" Naruto yelled before digging in.

"Did you check the growing audience outside?" Ron asked as they waited for Hermione to return. "It's like they expect us to come out with our trunks and leave for Hogwarts." Harry nodded sadly, reminiscing that had they really been leaving for Hogwarts, they would have been at school all ready.

"Phew." Said Hermione re-entering with a large portrait in her hands.

"What the hell was that about?" Asked Ron pushing aside some green onions with his fork.

Hermione didn't answer, but grabbed her handbag and proceeded to wrestle the portrait inside. Within a few seconds it vanished. "Phineas Nigellus." Explained Hermione.

"Who?" Asked Naruto. He wished he had a pair of chopsticks.

"Snape could send Phineas to look inside the house for us, but now he can only see the inside of my handbag." Explained Hermione proudly.

"Good thinking." Said Ron, impressed.

"Thanks." Said Hermione, grinning before pulling her bowl towards her.

"Anything new happen at the Ministry?" Asked Sai.

Harry shook his head. "Watched the entrance of the Ministry for seven hours. Still no sign of Umbridge."

"Even before the Ministry take over, Dad had said only important people were allowed to use the Floo Network. That's probably what she's using." Said Ron. "We likely won't see her at all...although that would make this a whole lot easier…nabbing her before she can get inside."

Hermione nodded in understanding. "And what about that funny old witch and the bloke in the navy blue robes?"

"Oh, the guy from Magical Maintenance?" Asked Ron, his mouth full of ramen.

Hermione dropped her spoon in her bowl. "You never said he was from Magical Maintenance!" She said, pulling her notes toward her before frantically shifting through them. "No! You never said!"

Ron shrugged his shoulders in nonchalance. "Oh, well he is."

"Don't you think you should have mentioned it earlier?" She asked shrilly.

"Well now we know." Said Naruto, already on his second bowl.

Hermione turned her heated gaze on Naruto, but he hardly noticed as he was too absorbed with consuming as much ramen as possible.

"I thought I mentioned it!" Said Ron in protest.

"We have to be prepared!" Hermione sighed, "Don't you understand that there is no place more dangerous – "

Harry cut her off. "I think we should go tomorrow."

Everyone turned to stare at him, noodles falling out of Naruto's mouth. "What?!" Said Naruto incredulously.

"You can't be serious, mate." Said Ron.

Harry nodded. "I am! Listen, we can spend another three months…even a year planning and it won't make a difference…and the longer we put it off…"

Sai nodded in agreement. "The longer Voldermort has time to assume more power."

Ron and Hermione looked a bit frightened.

"There's also a good chance Umbridge chucked it already too." Said Harry, emphasizing his point. "And we could be wasting more time if we don't act now."

"Unless she opened and is now possessed." Said Ron.

Naruto shrugged. "Wouldn't make a difference since she was so evil in the first place." He smirked.

Hermione head was beginning to drop down into her chest as her notes slipped from her hand. Harry smiled to himself as he strained his eyes once more to read Hermione's delicate handwriting. It was probably two in the morning already. Hermione had just dozed off and both Naruto and Ron were snoring loudly side by side on the couch. Only Sai was up with him now, keeping a diligent watch on the Death Eaters stationed outside the door.

Harry's eyes shifted to Naruto who was sleeping with his mouth open. Who thought the blond haired ninja had such a rough life? Well…Harry still didn't know much about Naruto. For all he knew, every day was life or death for him. He recalled the conversation he had with Naruto after the excitement of Kreacher finding Mundungus Fletcher died down...

"Sorry about yelling at your friend like that…it...really pissed me off." Said Naruto rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

Harry shook his head. "It's ok, I said some things to Lupin too."

"Your parents…?" Said Naruto inquiring slightly.

Harry shook his head. "I guess you never heard my story right? Unlike the rest of the wizarding world…" He muttered. "My parents were killed by Voldermort when I was a baby. Voldermort tried to kill me, but it backfired. It's why I have this." Said Harry touching his scar.

Naruto nodded silently, his eyes not very surprised.

"Your parents?" Asked Harry, sounding awkward.

Naruto turned his head away. "I never knew my parents… I lived alone my whole life."

Now it was Harry's turn to be surprised. He couldn't imagine living alone for seventeen years. Even if it was only the Dursley's, he still had someone. "Do you know what happened?" Asked Harry, now understanding where some of Naruto's anger had come from.

Naruto shrugged. "I don't know, I guess they were killed when the Kyuubi attacked…"

"Kyuubi?" Asked Harry. Suddenly, the memory of Naruto looking furious with the angry red energy swirling around him came to mind.

"Lupin turns into a demon too, right?" Asked Naruto.

"Err…I guess…sorta." Said Harry. "Lupin turns into a werewolf. He was attacked as a small child; he can't control his transformations."

Naruto nodded as if this made sense to him. "Some of the stuff he said…I could relate. But still," Said Naruto, shaking his head. "You should never abandon your kid if you can't help it."

Naruto awoke with a groan the next morning and shuffled into the kitchen where he found Sai calmly eating some breakfast rolls and Hermione frantically prodding around in her bag, muttering to herself. "Polyjuice Potion…Invisibility Cloak…"

Nauto scratched his head and sat at the table, pouring himself some orange juice.

"Are you ready?" Sai asked quietly.

Naruto glanced at him. "What do you mean?"

Hermione ignored their foreign chatter. Sai looked down, picking at his breakfast roll with his long pale fingers and Naruto frowned. Since when was Sai ever apprehensive or un-forthcoming about anything? "I didn't want to get your hopes up...but there is a reason why I agreed to this mission..." Said Sai.

Naruto furrowed his eyebrows, confused. A reason other than helping Harry? Naruto wasn't following.

"There is a possibility Sakura could be at the Ministry..."

At this, Naruto perked up, hands clutching into fists. Was it possible? Could Orochimaru and Voldermort really be keeping Sakura there? The Ministry of Magic was one of the most secure places and a station of power for Voldermort's new regime...maybe they could have Sakura there...

"Don't get carried away..." Said Sai raising an eyebrow. "But if we do find Sakura...then what?"

"What do you mean?" Said Naruto, his thoughts stopping short.

"If we get Sakura back, our mission is complete. We'll no longer have any obligation to..."

"You can't say that!" Naruto suddenly hissed, surprising Sai. Naruto glanced back toward Hermione who had been looking at them but then quickly turned back to her work when she met Naruto's gaze. Naruto turned back to Sai. "Just because we find Sakura doesn't mean we can just...abandon Harry and the others!"

Sai nodded his head. "Yes...I understand what you mean now. We have an obligation to stop Orochimaru now that he is here in this world..."

"It's not just that." Naruto sighed. "Harry, Ron and Hermione...they're our friends now. Don't you see that? Friends protect each other and I want to help protect them. Don't you?"

The question stunned Sai and he didn't know how to answer. Luckily, he didn't have to as their conversation was interrupted by Harry and Ron joining them for breakfast.

After breakfast was eaten and Hermione had gone over their plan at least ten times, they gave a brief good-bye to Kreacher before grasping hands and disappearing. After a brief minute of darkness, they found themselves in an alley where the first phase of the plan would take place.

Naruto and Sai quickly darted behind a few a few trash cans, as there was not enough space for them under the Invisibility Cloak. Their disguises were already in place and they were dressed in some shabby spare robes they had found in one of the bedrooms of Grimmauld Place.

"Ok, Hermione first." They heard Ron say.

A few minutes later, there was a slight pop and a little Ministry witch with grey hair appeared some feet away from them. She had barley taken a step when Hermione's stunning spell hit her and she fell backward.

"Nice." Said Ron popping out from under the cloak.

Together, he and Naruto pulled her into a dark passage way as Hermione collected a few of her hairs. Harry rummaged through her handbag and handed her the necessary items.

"Mafalda Hopkirk." Said Hermione. "Improper Use of Magic."

Hermione quickly gulped down the potion and was soon Mafalda's double. She pulled off the witches glasses as they closed the door on her. Harry and Ron hid back underneath the cloak as there was another pop and the wizard appeared.

"Hello, Mafalda." The wizard said in greeting. He seemed nervous.

"Hello." Hermione squeaked. "How are you today?"

The wizard shook his head. "Not so good…"

Hermione and the wizard started to walk down the alley. "I'm sorry to hear that." Said Hermione rummaging through her bag. "Here, have a sweet." She said, offering her hand.

"Oh, no thank you…" The wizard said passively.

"I insist!" Said Hermione aggressively, thrusting her hand forward.

The wizard looked a little bewildered before taking one. As soon as he did however, the effect was instant. The wizard was vomiting so hard he fell to his knees. He didn't even notice Hermione grasping some of his hairs.

"Oh no!" She exclaimed. "You can't go to work like this! You must back home!"

"No…!" He sputtered.

He tried to crawl down the alley, but Hermione blocked his path. "This is silly!" She exclaimed.

Finally, he pulled himself into a standing position and vanished. Hermione sighed and wiped a bead of sweat off her forehead before dodging the vomit chunks to give the hairs back to Ron.

"Keen on his job isn't he?" Ron asked as he drank down the potion.

Soon, Ron was his double, attired in the blue robes.

"Reg Cattermole." Ron said, looking down at his uniform.

Ron disappeared to find Harry some new hairs as Harry stayed in waiting underneath the Invisibility Cloak and Hermione set about cleaning up the vomit lest anyone get suspicious. After about ten minutes Hermione was thoroughly disgusted and Ron came back exhausted as he dropped some hairs into Harry's hand.

"Dunno…who he is…"Ron gulped, hands on his knees.

Harry nodded and added his hairs into his potion before gulping it down.

"Blimey, that's scary." Said Ron looking up at the Harry that now towered over him.

"Here's a token." Said Hermione handing both Sai and Harry a coin from her pocket. "Let's get moving." She said bustling ahead of them. "It's already almost nine."

They headed out of the alleyway and on to the crowded pavement. There were two flights of steps leading downwards toward what looked like a public bathroom. One was labeled gentlemen and the other ladies.

"Erm, see you in a minute." Said Hermione as she went down the steps.

The boys joined the rush of men heading down into the men's section.

"Disgusting." Said Naruto as he looked at the filthy walls.

They all jammed themselves into one cubicle, ignoring the strange looks they were getting from a few other wizards. Harry heard the sounds of flushing and peered underneath to see the feet next to him stepping into the toilet.

"We have to flush ourselves." Murmured Harry. He stepped up into the toilet, feeling awkward.

"This is some weird shit." Said Sai.

Deciding to go first, Harry stepped into the toilet and gingerly pulled the chain. He was instantly flushed and zoomed down a short chute and shot out of a fireplace. Landing with a grunt, Harry got up awkwardly, still unsure of how to control his huge body.

The Atrium of the Ministry was considerably darker than the last time Harry had been here...

Naruto shot out of the fireplace soon after Harry with Sai coming seconds later, landing on top of Naruto.

"I told you to wait a few minutes." Growled Naruto shoving Sai off.

"Pst!"

Harry looked up to see the small witch gesturing to him from behind a massive black stone statue. Harry stood up when another wizard shot out behind him and hit his legs, causing Harry to buckle and fall down.

"Out of the way! Can't you…" The wizard who knocked him over looked up and stared at him. "Oh! Sorry Runcorn!" The wizard looked frightened and scurried off.

Harry picked himself up again and hurried over to where the other four were waiting before anyone else could knock him over. Harry stared up at the statue as he joined the others. The words MAGIC IS MIGHT were carved on the base.

"Awful isn't it?" Whispered Hermione. "Did you see what they are sitting on?"

Harry looked closely and saw that the beautiful witch and wizard were sitting on chairs composed of ugly men, women and children.

"Muggles." Said Hermione. "In their rightful place."

"Did you notice the company?" Ron asked quietly, giving a discreet nod of his head toward the fireplaces on the opposite end of the Atrium. Turning, Harry noticed that a few men dressed in all black were standing there. A metal headband decorated their foreheads.

"Oto nin." Naruto muttered.

Hermione shook her head nervously. "We should get going, before one of them notices us acting suspicious..."

They were about to enter one of the golden lifts when a voice called out to them. "Cattermole!"

They all froze up until Sai nudged Ron. "Ron, that's you."

Harry's stomach fell as he saw Yaxley, a Death Eater approaching them. "I requested someone from Magical Maintenance to sort out my office." He said with a sneer as he stopped in front of them. "It's still raining in there."

Ron seemed frightened as he spoke to Yaxley. "Raining…? That's…not good."

Yaxley seemed unsatisfied. "No, it isn't very good is it? I suggest you get up there and do your job, Cattermole. You know I'm on my way to interrogate your wife right now…maybe next time you should marry a pureblood."

"Bastard." Naruto muttered, unable to stop himself.

Yaxley looked around to see who spoke. He eyed Naruto and Sai with suspicion. "Who are you?" He demanded.

Sai stepped up and shoved Naruto roughly.

"My mudblood cousin." He said darkly, reciting the words Hermione taught him. "I've decided its time to turn him in. Umbridge said to put him in her office."

Yaxley looked from Sai to Naruto, eying their bright blond hair and dull brown eyes. Yaxley nodded, seeming satisfied. "Well then…good work."

In fact, he seemed so proud that he didn't bother questioning how they got in. He turned back to Ron. "So, when the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement says he needs a job doing, I would make it my priority, do you understand me?" Snarled Yaxley.

"Yes." Ron whispered.

"Then go do it, Cattermole. If my office isn't dry in an hour, believe me, your wife's Blood Status will be in even more danger." And with that, he strode off. Ron breathed a semi sigh of relief as they entered the lift.

"What should I do?" He moaned.

"Try Finite Incantatem." Hermione quickly suggested. She was still babbling to him when the lift stopped and another burly man got on.

"Morning, Albert." He said gruffly, nodding to Harry. Then he leaned towards Harry, a conspiratorial smile on his face. "Dirk Cresswell eh? Nice one, I'm sure I'll get his job now!" He laughed a booming laugh and Harry smiled, hoping that would be an appropriate response.

The grills slid open again and Hermione gave Ron a little shove, seeing as it was his stop. He gave them a pleading look as the grills closed shut and he disappeared from view. Hermione was wringing her hands when the grills slid open at the next floor and they all gasped.

Umbridge stood there in all her pink glory, looking considerably better than the last time Harry had seen her in the Forbidden Forest. She eyed Hermione with satisfaction. "Ah, Malfalda! Travers sent you didn't he?"

Hermione shook her head yes, unable to form words.

"Excellent! She'll do; problem solved, Minister." She said turning to the man next to her. Harry's gaze turned to the new Minister of Magic, eying his long hair and beard.

Umbridge stepped into the lift next to Hermione and then eyed Harry. "Morning Albert, aren't you getting off here?"

"Of course." Said Harry, pushing his thoughts away as he quickly stepped out of the lift, Sai and Naruto shuffling along with him.

The grill doors snapped shut and Naruto watched Hermione nervously disappear beneath the floor.

"What are you doing up here, Runcorn?"

Harry looked at Pius Thickenese and suddenly felt an inexplicable longing for Rufus Scrimgeour. The man before him was likely no more than a puppet... "Just escorting these gentlemen to Umbridge's office." Harry replied smoothly.

Thickenese eyed them before nodding. "Good day, Runcorn." He said before walking off.

"Good day, Minister." Harry watched as the Minister marched out of sight and then started to quickly walk, eying the gold plates on each of the doors as he waved for Naruto and Sai to follow him.

But when Harry turned, he saw neither Sai nor Naruto behind him.

Ron nervously walked down the corridor on the second level toward Yaxley's office and did his best to hide his trembling hands within the sleeves of his robe. Seeing the Department for Magical Law Enforcement, Ron quickly entered, hoping to not draw attention to himself as he wordlessly searched for Yaxley's office.

Luckily, it didn't prove too hard as Ron spotted water leaking out from behind the closed doors off one of the offices. Finding Yaxley's name on the name plate, Ron made a beeline for the office when he suddenly found himself on the ground, his stomach sick at the sudden gross feeling that he felt. He heaved for breath as a sandaled foot connected with his side and kicked him over so that he was left gasping for breath on his back. With wide eyes, Ron saw a dark hooded figure looming over him.

"What do you think your business is here, wizard?" The figure spat.

"O-Office..." Ron stuttered. "R-Raining..."

The feeling suddenly stopped harassing Ron and he felt that he could breath again. Ron took a huge gulp of air.

"What's your name, wizard?"

"Ro...Reg, Cattermole." Said Ron, almost turning a bright red from his almost slip up.

The figure paused, taking a book from his back pocket and quickly flipping through it. After a moment, the figure shifted his eyes back to Ron and nodded his head, stepping back and allowing Ron room to get up. Ron stood up, slowly brushing his robes off.

"It seems you're not wanted. Lucky wizard, although I can't say the same about your wife." Said the figure, allowing himself a smile.

Ron gulped.

"So what's your business in this office? And without the stuttering this time." Said the figure. He looked at Ron, the light catching across a metal band across his head.

"Y-Yaxley sent me to c-clean up the rain in his office." Said Ron, doing his hardest to stop his voice from shaking.

The figure glanced back toward the office door, almost as if he were appraising the validity of Ron's statement. "You said Yaxley sent you?"

"Y-Yes."

"Hmph. Well the constant raining is rather troublesome to my duty. You can enter, but keep the door open." The figure said, folding his arms.

Ron nodded his head and darted for the door when he felt a heavy hand slam down on his shoulder. Ron yet out a yelp and turned to the figure leaning in close to him. "And don't try any funny business in there. I'm sure Yaxley doesn't want to see your blood staining his new carpet."

The corridor was deserted, so Harry increased his pace to a light jog. What were they thinking? They planned so much time trying to get in, they didn't plan what do to once they got in. How could they succeed? And where in Merlin's pants had Naruto and Sai disappeared to?

Harry finally came to a room where dozens of wizards and witches were sitting, moving in unison to perform some task. Harry threw on the Cloak and tiptoed inside. He saw they were folding pamphlets.

"Will the old hag be interrogating Mudbloods all day?" Asked the wizard next to him.

"Shh!" Scolded a young witch. She glanced around nervously.

"What, has she got a magic ear to go with the magic eye now?" The wizard glanced over at a wooden door toward the far left.

"Shh! You don't know how loyal he is..." The young witch said, lowering her voice.

"Hmph." The wizard snorted, despite the look the young witch was giving them. "And I suppose his kind can hear through walls now..."

Harry turned away from the young witch and wizard and turned back to the door. He froze with fury at what he saw. Mad Eye Moody's eye was staring back at him, staring from its socket in the door. Harry forgot where he was as he strode over.

The plaque on the door read: Dolores Umbridge, Head of the Muggle Born Registration Commission. Harry glanced back over at the pamphlet makers. They seemed so engrossed in their work, surely they wouldn't notice the door open. He slipped inside his pocket and pulled out a Decoy Detonator. He placed it on the ground and waited as it scuttled away. When he heard the bang and the shrieks of surprise, he took his chance and pulled the eye from the door and slipped inside. Harry gasped when he entered.

A man with a dark cloak and a headband across his head similar to the one that Naruto and Sai wore, only with a music symbol instead was dead in Umbridge's office, his throat bloody from an apparent knife wound, the blood leaking out onto the pink carpet. Then Harry froze.

There was someone else in the room.
