"Okay Chelsea, it's just a duel against an Obelisk Blue Student to see whether he graduates or not." Chelsea thought as she glanced up at the duel podium, Tyler was already on the podium waiting for her to step up and Chelsea glanced down at her deck. "Who also happens to be at the top of the list of guys I'd want to fuck if I was straight and one of my best friends, no pressure."

"You'll do fine Chelsea." Wattchimera reassured her and Chelsea grinned in response as she started to make her way to the podium. "Remember, Tyler chose you as his opponent for a reason and you earned your spot in Ra Yellow, doing well against him in this duel will likely have you penciled in for Obelisk Blue in the near future."

"That's if I don't get expelled first." Chelsea thought with a sigh before stepping onto the podium. "You ready to do this Tyler?"

"I was born ready." Tyler responded with a grin as they activated their duel disks. "In fact, if you don't mind me quoting a Power Metal song, I was born to kick your ass!"

"Wow, that was actually a lyric for a song?!" Chelsea asked with a dumbfounded look on her face and Tyler sweat-dropped. "That sounds like a lyric I'd reject when I was fifteen years old and still had delusions of being a metal musician and that was when I came up with the name of my Watt Deck."

"The name of your Watt Deck can't be that bad, right?" Tyler asked and Chelsea shook her head.

"I named my deck Wattitude." Chelsea responded with a sigh and Tyler nearly fell over laughing. "Is it any wonder why I don't mention that name out loud and in public all that often?"

"How about this, I stop quoting Power Metal songs and you don't bring up the name of your deck." Tyler suggested and Chelsea nodded in agreement without a moment's hesitation and just as she did that the lights dimmed.

"Welcome to the third graduation duel of the day." Martin announced and the crowd cheered in response as the spotlights shone on the two duelists. "In our next match, we have a clash of the dorms and classes as Obelisk Blue's Tyler Kaiba takes on Ra Yellow's Chelsea Cunningham." Martin added and this time there was a mixed reaction, most of the students were cheering for them but there were several boos coming from the Obelisk Blue students.

"Wow, their still not over my assault on Jessica." Chelsea thought as she glanced over at the students booing her. "Who gives a shit what they think!? It's not like I attacked her unprovoked."

"I can tell that you "give a shit" as you so elegantly put it." Wattchimera responded and Chelsea frowned.

"Who asked you?" Chelsea asked before Tyler spoke up.

"Jessica's been expelled already, isn't it time you let it go?" Tyler called out to them and the booing stopped almost immediately. "Yes, Chelsea made a mistake on Wednesday but she's regretted it ever since and like it or not, she will make an excellent Obelisk Blue Student someday so drop it!" Tyler added and the students gulped before stopping.

"Thanks Tyler." Chelsea responded with a small smile on her face and Tyler grinned.

"Don't worry about it, I could tell that they were getting to you." Tyler responded and Chelsea sweat-dropped in response. "With that said, if you want to go first, go ahead." Tyler added once the lights came on and they drew their opening hands and Chelsea looked over her hand.

"Well, on the plus side, this is the best hand I've had in a while, hopefully I'll perform better than I did against his sister!" Chelsea thought before picking up two cards. "I set one card facedown and I summon Wattcobra!" Chelsea played the cards and the multi-colored snake appeared on the field ready for battle (4/1000/500). "Your turn Tyler." Chelsea announced and Tyler drew his card.

"I activate Terra-Forming!" Tyler announced as he played the card and started inputting commands into his duel disk.

"Two can play at that game! I activate my facedown card Beckoning Light!" Chelsea announced as her trap card flipped up and she discarded the four remaining cards in her hand. "So, let's see who gets the better result of this deck search!"

"I think we both know the answer." Tyler responded before the two teens added their respective cards to their hands. "I won't keep you in suspense! I activate Brain Research Lab!" Tyler played the card and the scenery changed to that of a sinister looking lab. "Now whenever I use the effect of a Psychic Type Monster I can add a counter to this Field Spell rather than take damage!"

"Won't do you much good against my Watts, doesn't matter what Psychic Synchro you summon because my Watts will just bypass them and attack your life-points directly!" Chelsea responded with a grin and Tyler returned the grin.

"You seem to be under the impression that I'm going to let you keep your Watts on the field long enough to do significant damage." Tyler responded before picking up two cards. "Allow me to demonstrate how wrong you are, I set two cards facedown and I summon Psychic Commander!" Tyler played the card and the small psychic tuner in the floating tank appeared on the field (3/1400/400). "Psychic Commander, attack Wattcobra!" Tyler commanded and the commander pointed his tanks cannon at the snake. "The point difference between our two monsters isn't much admittedly, so let's change that! I activate Psychic Commander's effect!"

"Meaning your research labs just got its first counter." Chelsea responded as some of the machinery around her came to life and Wattcobra's attack got cut in half. "But I'm afraid your commander's going to have to wait a bit longer, I activate the effect of Electromagnetic Turtle from my graveyard!" Chelsea responded as she retrieved the card from her graveyard and pocketed it. "By banishing that monster during the same turn that it was sent to the graveyard I can end the battle phase!" Chelsea added and the commander called off his attack.

"Fortunately for you, Psychic Commander's effect only lasts until my end phase." Tyler admitted before looking over his hand. "I end my turn." Tyler announced and Chelsea drew her card.

"I was hoping to save Electromagnetic Turtle's effect for one of Tyler's heavy hitters like Thought Ruler Archfiend but my turtle's effect doesn't leave me with a lot of options." Chelsea thought before looking at the card she had drawn. "I set one card facedown." Chelsea announced as the facedown card appeared behind Wattcobra. "And it's time I went on the attack! Wattcobra, attack his life-points directly!" Chelsea commanded and the cobra leapt over Tyler's monster.

"Not if I activate my Quick Play Spell Card! Go Emergency Teleport!" Tyler activated his trap and Chelsea frowned as he started inputting commands into his duel disk. "This allows me to Special Summon One Level 3 or Lower Psychic Type Monster from my hand or deck."

"But the monster will be banished during the end phase." Chelsea added with a frown as Tyler retrieved the card he wanted. "My monies on a Low-Level non-tuner Psychic Type Monster and if I'm right his other facedown card is likely Urgent Tuning meaning he'll have one of his heavy hitters on the field by my second turn, still that won't stop my cobra from drawing first blood."

"My monster of choice is Krebons!" Tyler played the card causing Chelsea to do a double take as the small, weak tuner appeared on the field (2/1200/400). "What's the matter Chelsea? Expecting something different?"

"You can say that again." Chelsea responded with a confused look on her face. "If Tyler's goal was to negate Wattcobra's attack using Krebons' effect and add another counter to his lab then he just made a big mistake, Krebons' effect requires that he be targeted by an attack but he's seen enough of my duels to know that my Watts don't give a shit about how many monsters my opponent has on the field as they'll just attack directly anyway!"

"Let's see if she takes the bait." Tyler thought as he glanced at Chelsea.

"Sorry Tyler but I know that Krebons effect requires it to be targeted for an attack and that's just not Wattcobra's style! Wattcobra, pick up where you left off!" Chelsea commanded and the snake leapt over the two tuner monsters and aimed right for Tyler…

"That may be true but I can at least soften the blow! I activate my trap card Psychic Soul!" Tyler announced as his facedown card flipped up and Krebons disappeared from the field. "Using this Trap Card, I can tribute one Psychic Type Monster I control and gain life-points equal to its level times three hundred." Tyler explained before a warm light washed over him causing his life-points to increase to 8600.

"You would've been better off sacrificing Psychic Commander but it's your loss." Chelsea responded as the snake bit Tyler on the arm reducing his life-points down to 7600. "And either way, I've drawn first blood and Wattcobra's effect lets me search out another Watt monster." Chelsea added before she started inputting commands into her duel disk and added the card to her hand once it ejected. "I end my turn at that."

"It's not how you start, it's how you finish." Tyler responded as he drew his card and looked at it. "I summon Dr. Frankenderp in attack mode!" Tyler played the card causing several students who hadn't seen the card before to do a double take as the small robot in the doctor's coat appeared on the field (3/300/300). "I activate his effect, using this I can look at the top card of my deck and determine if I'm going to add it to my hand or send it to the bottom of my deck."

"All for the cost of five hundred life-points which is covered by your research lab." Chelsea responded with a frown as more machinery came to life and Tyler picked up the card. "So, what's it gonna be?"

"I'm adding this card to my hand." Tyler responded before doing just that. "And I know it's a moot point since Watts focus on direct attacks but Dr. Frankenderp won't be on the field for you to attack him! I tune Dr. Frankenderp with Psychic Commander!" Tyler announced as the two Psychic Type Monsters leapt into the air for the Synchro Summon. "I haven't used this monster in a while so what better time to bust him out than my graduation duel? I Synchro Summon Psychic Nightmare!"

"I can think of a few reasons why you shouldn't." Chelsea responded with a frown as the bright flash enveloped the field and once it faded the large winged purple psychic demon appeared on the field hovering above it (6/2400/1800). "And I'm not just saying that because Psychic Nightmare is a pretty powerful monster because compared to the other Psychic Synchros he's pretty weak." Chelsea added and Tyler nodded in response.

"That is true but I had to go with what I had." Tyler responded before pointing to Psychic Nightmare. "In any case, I activate Psychic Nightmare's effect, I have to guess what type of card is in your hand and if I guess right? He gains one thousand attack points until your end phase, I guess wrong and nothing happens."

"You do realize that I have five cards in my hand, right?" Chelsea asked as she glanced at her hand. "That leaves you with a one in five chance of dealing some serious damage to my life-points when you attack Wattcobra, do you really want to take that chance?"

"Too late to turn back now." Tyler responded as Psychic Nightmare flew over to Chelsea and pointed to the middle card. "You used Beckoning Light last turn so I'm guessing that's a monster!"

"Son of a bitch!" Chelsea grumbled under her breath before turning the card around and revealing it to be Wattcanine causing Psychic Nightmare's attack points to shoot up to 3400.

"I knew it!" Tyler responded with a grin as Chelsea turned the card back around and shuffled up her hand. "And now for Wattcobra, Psychic Nightmare, attack her monster!" Tyler commanded and his monster flew over to the much weaker monster….

"Guess again Tyler!" Chelsea responded as she picked up a card. "In fact, if you had revealed this card with Psychic Nightmare's effect you wouldn't be attacking full stop! I discard Honest from my hand to add Psychic Nightmare's attack points to his score!"

"Oh no!" Tyler responded as his eyes widened and Wattcobra's attack shot up to 4400 and it leapt towards Psychic Nightmare. "Well played Chelsea but there's a reason why I chose to add this card to my hand with Dr. Frankenderp's effect last turn, from my hand I activate the Quick Play Spell Card Telekinetic Power Adapter!" Tyler played the card and the artwork depicted Doctor Frankenderp working on a machine in Brain Research Lab. "This Spell Card can only be activated if Brain Research Lab is on the field and has at least one counter, when a Psychic Type Monster I control would be destroyed by battle I can remove one Spell Counter from Brain Research Lab to ensure that it will survive the battle."

"And I'm guessing that you still take damage?" Chelsea responded and Tyler nodded in response as Wattcobra bit Psychic Nightmare on the neck but couldn't get a good grip on the much larger monster before Psychic Nightmare threw him to the ground and Tyler's life-points dropped to 6600. "And I get to add another Watt Monster to my hand." Chelsea added as she started inputting commands into her duel disk.

"She brought herself some time with that move but Honest is on the limited list, she won't be able to keep this up for long." Tyler thought before looking over his hand. "I end my turn." Tyler announced and Chelsea drew her card once the stats of the two monsters on the field returned to normal.

"One thing's for certain, I need to destroy his monster and fast!" Chelsea thought as she glanced up at Psychic Nightmare. "Unfortunately, my Watt Deck isn't built around destroying monsters, rather its built around attacking directly and I only have two monsters that could destroy his monster, only thing is that Wattaildragon is nothing more than a beatstick and Wattcentaur would just match Psychic Nightmare hit for it." Chelsea thought before looking at her drawn card and playing it. "I activate Gift from Zeus! And thanks to Beckoning Light I have more than enough cards in my graveyard for its effect!"

"If you think that doing so will help you defeat my Nightmare then go right ahead." Tyler responded with a smirk as Chelsea shuffled the cards back into her deck and drew her cards.

"Oh yeah! That's the ticket!" Chelsea thought with a grin as a plan formed in her head. "I summon a new turner monster, Wattkitten!" Chelsea played the card and a new monster appeared on the field, it was a small kitten with the same color scheme as the other Watt monsters but was no less adorable than a real kitten (3/100/100) and the site of the adorable monster caused several awwws to emerge from where the other female students were sitting. "You'd think they'd be used to cute Duel Monsters after Rescue Rabbit was used in every other duel in the tournament." Chelsea muttered under her breath as she glanced over at the students.

"If your intending to offer that kitten as a peace offering then Psychic Nightmare will just gobble it up." Tyler responded earning himself some boos from the same girls who were cooing over Wattkitten. "What? I'm just saying!"

"Fortunately for you, Wattkitten won't be around long enough for Psychic Nightmare to eat my pussy!" Chelsea said before pointing to her monsters. "I…really should've worded that better." Chelsea commented as a large sweat-drop rolled down her head and a quick face-palm, she ran her hand down her face before regaining her composure. "Anyway, I tune my two monsters together to Synchro Summon Watthydra in attack mode!" Chelsea announced as she retrieved the card from her extra deck and the two monsters completed the Synchro Summon causing the multi-headed Watt monster to appear in Wattcobra's place (7/1500/1500).

"If your plan is to attack directly, why not just keep Wattcobra on the field?" Tyler asked as he folded his arms and Chelsea shook her head.

"Because that isn't my plan." Chelsea responded before retrieving a card from her graveyard. "I activate Wattkitten's effect, since I used her in a Synchro Summon of a Watt Synchro Monster I can Special Summon another Watt monster from my graveyard with its effects negated, I chose another Watt Tuner Monster, namely Wattbetta." Chelsea announced as she played the card and the small fish appeared on the field in defense mode (2/100/0). "He'll be destroyed during the end phase but I don't plan on keeping him around that long."

"This makes no sense, why would Chelsea Synchro Summon a monster and then summon another Tuner Monster?" Tyler thought as he looked at Chelsea's side of the field. "If she had summoned Wattchimera I could understand since there are a few Level Eight Synchro Monsters but Level Nine Synchro Monsters are hard to come by."

"But who said I was done Special Summoning cards from my graveyard? I reduce Watthydra's level by two to summon two Level Eaters!" Chelsea announced as she played the card and two small ladybugs appeared on the field crouching down (1/0/600) whilst Watthydra's level dropped to five. "I don't know how much time I've got left so I'm going to make this count! I tune Wattbetta with my two Level Eaters!" Chelsea announced as the three monsters leapt into the air for the second Synchro Summon off the turn. "I Synchro Summon Armory Arm!"

"Okay, now her move makes sense!" Tyler thought as Chelsea played the card and the small cannon appeared on the field alongside Watthydra (4/1800/1200). "And that's bad news for me!"

"I activate Armory Arm's effect, since Watthydra is the only other monster I have on my side of the field it should be obvious which one I'm targeting." Chelsea added as Armory Arm attached itself to Watthydra's back boosting its attack to 2500. "Let's get this show on the road, Watthydra, attack Psychic Nightmare!" Chelsea commanded and the hydra leapt forward before taking a bite out of Psychic Nightmare reducing Tyler's life-points to 6500. "But wait, there's more! When a monster equipped with Armory Arm destroys an opponent's monster you also take a hit equal to that monster's attack points!" Chelsea added and Tyler grimaced as his life-points dropped even further to 4100. "And as an added bonus Watthydra's effect lets me pick a card from my deck or graveyard and banish it for a couple of rounds."

"Unless I deal with Watthydra soon she'll go through my life-points in an instant." Tyler thought as Chelsea picked out the card she wanted and pocketed it. "And I can kiss any hope I have of graduating this year good-bye!"

"I set one card facedown and end my turn." Chelsea announced as she set the other card she drew with Gift from Zeus and Tyler drew his card.

"Well times Chelsea, you were seconds away from the turn automatically going to Tyler." Martin chimed in and Chelsea sweat-dropped in response.

"What did he expect? Good moves in this game take time, usually a lot more than he allowed." Chelsea thought as Tyler looked over his hand. "I hope they don't carry over the time limit rule for when I graduate."

"I activate Magical Stone Excavation! I discard two cards from my hand to retrieve Emergency Teleport from my graveyard!" Tyler announced as he played the card and once he tossed the two cards the Spell Card ejected from his graveyard. "We'll get to that in a second but for now I summon a second Krebons in attack mode!" Tyler announced as the weak tuner monster returned to the field. "Now I activate Emergency Teleport! This time I'm using it to Special Summon Risebell the Star Adjuster!" Tyler announced as he started inputting commands into his duel disk.

"Going for a Synchro Summon as well?" Chelsea asked as she folded her arms. "And they originality is dead in this game!"

"Need I remind you that I was the first one to Synchro Summon a monster in this duel?" Tyler asked as he retrieved the card from his deck and let it auto-shuffle before playing it causing a young pale man in jet black armor with long purple hair in a huge ponytail to appear on the field (3/800/800) and Chelsea went to reply but stopped. "Besides, they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! Anyway, since I Special Summoned Risebell his effect activates, with it I can target one monster on the field and increase his level by up to three until the end phase, I chose to increase Krebons level." Tyler added as the Psychic Tuner's level increased to five. "And as you already guessed, I'm going for a Synchro Summon of my own! I tune Krebons with Risebell the Star Adjuster!"

"A level eight Synchro Summon by Tyler, that can only mean one thing." Chelsea thought with a gulp as the two Psychic Type Monsters leapt into the air for the Synchro Summon. "Thought Ruler Archfiend!"

"I Synchro Summon Thought Ruler Archfiend in attack mode!" Tyler played the card and once the bright flash faded from view for the fourth time in the duel the large hideous fiend appeared on the field with a roar (8/2700/2300). "What was it you said before attacking Psychic Nightmare? Oh yeah, let's get this show on the road! Thought Ruler Archfiend, attack Watthydra now!" Tyler commanded and the monster leapt forward before slashing through it bringing Chelsea's life-points down to 7800. "And to quote you again, as an added bonus Watthydra's original attack points get added to my life-points." Tyler added as his life-points increased to 5600. "I end my turn." Tyler announced and Chelsea quickly drew her card.

"Okay, on a scale of bad to really fucking bad, this ranks somewhere near really fucking bad!" Chelsea thought as she glanced up at the much larger monster. "Even if I had another copy of Watthydra and Armory Arm I have no way of bringing them back from the graveyard and they wouldn't do enough damage on their own to win the duel for me even without Thought Ruler's life-point restoration effect, my best shots are Wattaildragon and Wattcentaur but whether I can draw them any time soon is its own problem." Chelsea thought before looking at her drawn card. "Or maybe I don't need to draw them." Chelsea thought before quickly setting the monster. "I set one monster in defense mode and end my turn!"

"Well, at least she didn't take as long this time around." Tyler thought with a large sweat-drop rolling down the back of his head as he drew his card. "Miracle Synchro Fusion, I could use this to bring out Ultimate Axon Kicker but I'd rather damage Chelsea's life-points first." Tyler thought before adding the card to his hand and picking up two others. "I set two cards facedown." Tyler announced as the two cards appeared on the field. "And I end my turn."

"Huh?!" Chelsea thought as she blinked a couple of times as it set in. "What's he up to? His monster could easily destroy Wattdragonfly? Is it because I've used this combo so often that he saw through it?"

"Chelsea, are you going to draw your card or not?" Martin interrupted her train of thought and Chelsea quickly drew her card.

"I don't know what Tyler's up to but I'm willing to bet good money that it has something to do with those cards he just set." Chelsea thought before sighing. "I'd give anything for Heavy Storm right now but the truth is that I2 still hasn't taken it off the ban-list." Chelsea thought before looking at her drawn card. "It's not something that can destroy any of Tyler's cards but it's something!" Chelsea thought before playing the card. "I activate Spellbook inside the Pot!"

"Desperate enough to give me three free draws?" Tyler asked with a chuckle as the two teens drew their three cards.

"No comment." Chelsea responded before looking at her drawn cards. "I set two cards facedown and a monster in defense mode to end my turn." Chelsea announced as the three facedown cards appeared next to her other facedown cards and Tyler drew his card.

"Perfect!" Tyler thought before activating his Trap Card. "First, I activate my trap card Battle Teleportation, with this I can target one Psychic Type Monster I control and have it attack your life-points directly!"

"Wait, what?!" Chelsea asked as her eyes widened.

"But I'm not going to do that just yet, I summon Psychic Snail in attack mode!" Tyler played the card and the large snail-like creature appeared on the field ready for battle (4/1900/1200). "I activate Psychic Snail's effect, by paying eight hundred life-points, a cost that is off course offset by Brain Research Lab." Tyler explained as more machinery came to life. "I can target one other Psychic Type Monster I control and have it attack twice." Tyler explained as Thought Ruler Archfiend started glowing. "Psychic Snail can't attack the same turn I use this effect but he doesn't need to, Thought Ruler Archfiend, attack her life-points directly!"

"This is so going to hurt in the morning!" Chelsea thought with a wince as Thought Ruler Archfiend charged over her two facedown monsters and slashed Chelsea twice with his claws bringing her life-points down to 3400. "Your monster will pay for that next turn!" Chelsea responded as she went to activate a trap.

"He won't be around that long." Tyler responded and Chelsea hesitated. "Put simply, the monster I target for Battle Teleportation's effect goes over to my opponent's side of the field during the end phase and I'm not about to hand over control of one of my best monsters." Tyler explained as he folded his arms. "You were going to activate a trap?"

"That's right!" Chelsea responded as her facedown card flipped up. "And it's one of my favorites, Damage Condenser! Since I just took battle damage I can Special Summon one monster with less attack than your monster and since you just hit me with 2700 points of damage all the monster cards in my deck qualify!" Chelsea added before she discarded a card for her trap card's effect and started inputting commands into her duel disk and retrieved the card she wanted. "But I only need one to bring down your monster, Wattcentaur!" Chelsea played the card causing the multi-colored centaur to appear on the field (6/2400/1200).

"Your monster's strong but I don't see how it's going to beat Thought Ruler Archfiend in a straight up fight." Tyler responded before noticing Chelsea's other facedown card flipping up. "Unless that facedown card is Judgment of Thunder!"

"Are my duels seriously that predictable?" Chelsea asked with an annoyed tone of voice as Judgment of Thunder flipped up. "Besides, if it isn't broken, why fix it? Anyway, I don't feel like being hit with two direct attacks from Thought Ruler or any of your other Psychic Synchros so I'm using this to destroy Psychic Snail!" Chelsea added as thunder struck the snail destroying it. "Now, what was that about me getting control of your monster?"

"I said that it isn't going to happen, I move to my second main phase and activate De-Synchro!" Tyler played the card and Thought Ruler Archfiend disappeared from the field only for Krebons and Risebell to return to the field in its place. "Unlike its fusion counterpart De-Synchro isn't a Quick Play Spell Card but since Risebell was just Special Summoned again I'm using his effect to increase Krebons' level back to five." Tyler explained as Krebons level rose again. "I suppose there's no point in holding off on this, I tune my two monsters back together!"

"I think we're starting to set a new school record for Synchro Summons in a Duel." Chelsea commented as Thought Ruler Archfiend returned to the field following the Synchro Summon.

"If not, we're getting close to it." Tyler nodded in response before looking over his hand. "I end my turn." Tyler announced and Chelsea drew her card.

"Well, the good news is that he can't use Psychic Snail's effect again, especially if he has another copy of Battle Teleportation." Chelsea thought before looking at her drawn card. "Bad news is that I'm running out of options, really wishing I had another copy of Gift from Zeus right now but this will do." Chelsea thought before pointing at Tyler. "I activate Wattcentaur's effect, by cutting his attack points in half I can have him attack you directly and that's exactly what I'm going to do!" Chelsea announced as Wattcentaur's attack dropped to 1200 before it charged pass Thought Ruler Archfiend and slammed into Tyler bringing his life-points down to 4400. "I end my turn." Chelsea announced and Tyler drew his card. "I hope this works!"

"It's time I brought out the big guns." Tyler commented causing Chelsea to do a double take. "Yes, I'm aware that I've already brought out the big guns once but I'm about to bring out some even bigger guns, I activate my Spell Card Miracle Synchro Fusion! I use it to fuse Psychic Nightmare and Psychic Snail together to fusion summon my best monster, Ultimate Axon Kicker!" Tyler announced and Chelsea's eyes widened as the two monsters briefly returned to the field only to be sucked into a portal from which Tyler's best monster appeared on the field (10/2900/1700). "Thought Ruler Archfiend, attack Wattcentaur!" Tyler commanded and the monster charged into battle…

"You fell for the same trick twice in one duel Tyler!" Chelsea responded as he she held up the card she had drawn. "By discarding Honest from my hand, I can add Thought Ruler Archfiend's attack points to Wattcentaur's!" Chelsea explained and Tyler's eyes widened as Wattcentaur's attack went up to 5100 and Wattcentaur charged towards Thought Ruler Archfiend before slamming into him destroying the monster and bringing Tyler's life-points down to 2000. "This is perfect, once Tyler attacks Wattdragonfly I can Special Summon Wattcobra and finish him off on my turn, sure I'll lose a lot of life-points but it'll pay off in the…."

"I activate my Trap Card Miracle's Wake!" Tyler announced breaking Chelsea's train of thought as Thought Ruler Archfiend returned to the field. "Since Thought Ruler Archfiend was just destroyed in battle this Trap Card can Special Summon it from the graveyard, better yet, since he just returned to the field he gets another attack but first things first." Tyler added before pointing to Chelsea's facedown monster on the right. "Ultimate Axon Kicker, attack her monster on the right!" Tyler commanded and the monster fired a beam of light at the monster, revealed to be Wattdragonfly (2/900/100) which was quickly destroyed. "And since Ultimate Axon Kicker inflicts piercing damage…"

"Yeah, I know!" Chelsea interrupted him as her life-points plummeted down to 200. "Not like it matters but I'm Special Summoning Wattaildragon through Wattdragonfly's effect!" Chelsea added as the large dragon appeared on the field. "I don't have another Honest in my hand but maybe if I can make him think that I have another copy of that monster in my hand I can somehow turn this around."

"You do realize that you just defeated yourself, right?" Tyler asked and Chelsea sighed before nodding. "Thought Ruler Archfiend, finish this duel off!" Tyler commanded and the monster charged towards Wattaildragon before slashing him with his claws and bringing Chelsea's life-points down to zero.

"Here is the winner of the match, Tyler Kaiba! As a result, he will join Miranda Kaiba and Evan Grant at the graduation ceremony this afternoon!" Martin added and the crowd cheered in response as the holograms disappeared and Chelsea dejectedly returned her cards to her deck.

"Damn it, that's the third loss in a row! Fourth loss if you count me being eliminated from the Tag Duel between me and Chloe and Cameron and Jessica!" Chelsea thought as she shuffled her cards into her deck not noticing that someone was approaching her. "I need to end this losing streak and fast! Especially with the final clash with the Orichalcos Duelists being right around the corner…."

"That was a great duel Chelsea." Tyler's voice broke her train of thought again and Chelsea looked up seeing the now former Obelisk Blue Student holding out his hand for a handshake. "I knew I made the right choice in choosing you as my opponent for my graduation duel."

"Yeah, I know." Chelsea sighed as she accepted the handshake. "But at the same time, I need to get out of this rut I've been in as of late!"

"I understand and trust me, you will." Tyler reassured her before walking off. "Now if you excuse me I have my fellow graduates to meet up with." Tyler added before hopping off the duel arena and Chelsea did likewise before they went their separate ways.

"Join us in a couple of minutes where we'll see Lance Alvers take on Brandon Thomas in Brandon's graduation duel!" Martin added and the crowd cheered again as Chelsea joined the other students.
