It was the day that the students had been waiting for, the day that they were finally going to take out the Orichalcos, however for one of the students it was a particularly hard morning for her.

"Damn it!" Chelsea thought as she punched the wall in frustration, she had just gotten dressed having cried herself to sleep the night before and looking at her reflection in the mirror had caused the memories to come flooding back to her. "Why wasn't I on the lookout for Dan?! I could've dueled him, and Jamie's soul wouldn't have been captured!" Chelsea thought as she lowered her head. "Yet another fucking thing that I've failed at! No wonder I'm the black sheep of this family!"

"Chelsea, it's no use blaming yourself for what happened to your sister." Wattchimera assured her as Chelsea's duel spirit appeared behind her in the mirror. "You had no way of knowing that Dan would follow you up to the penthouse!"

"And now that you mention it, how did he follow us up to the penthouse?" Chelsea wondered as she finally pulled her fist back and started brushing her hair. "There was only one elevator up and we had to take several turns to get us up to the penthouse suite, I know me, and Tyler went up first to get everything ready for the meeting but I'm sure we would've noticed him." Chelsea thought as she finished brushing her hair and put the comb aside, she glanced over at one of the pictures on her desk which showed Chelsea and Jamie posing for a picture together. "That photo was taken before she went off to culinary school." Chelsea remembered before picking up the picture and getting a better look at it, Chelsea felt the tears welling up again as she thought back to the previous night. "Just three months before I was sent to juvie. I'll get your soul back Jamie if it's the last thing I do!" Chelsea thought before there was a knock at the door and Chelsea put the picture down. "I'm decent!"

"Morning sis." Mark greeted her as he opened the door and Chelsea turned to him with her hands in her denim vest's pockets. "How are you feeling after last night?"

"You mean the intervention or Jamie's duel?" Chelsea asked as she lowered her head before she motioned to her tear soaked pillow. "That should tell you everything you need to know either way, look I know I said some really ugly things about you, Danny, Chris and Jamie last night and I just want to apologize, before I head into the lion's den."

"No need to apologize, it was an ugly situation in general." Mark assured his younger sister and Chelsea nodded in response. "Jamie was taken to the UCLA Medical Centre last night, she's in good hands, you don't need to worry."

"That's good to know at least." Chelsea sighed as she leaned against her bed. "Have you told mom and dad yet?"

"First thing I did after we got you to bed." Mark nodded in response and Chelsea nodded. "They are flying in from Chicago as we speak, it'll take them about three hours to get here and with any luck you'll be done by the time they get here." Mark added before noticing the uncomfortable look on his younger sister's face. "We didn't go into detail about the intervention, just that it had been a success, I think you'll agree that the details are the last thing they need right now."

"Right." Chelsea nodded with a sad sigh before she grabbed her duel disk. "Just tell me one thing before I go to war." Chelsea added as she strapped on her duel disk. "What Jamie said about the military academy, how much of it was true?"

"All of it." Mark responded, and Chelsea closed her eyes before nodding. "We didn't want to bring it up because we knew how much you hated the idea but in hindsight, it was the only way we could've gotten through to you."

"So, if I screw up that badly again, I may as well kiss any hope of a career in Duel Monster's goodbye?" Chelsea asked, and Mark nodded, Chelsea folded her arms before walking up to Mark and stopping just short of the door. "I likely won't see them until the threat has been dealt with, so can you give this message to mom and dad from me?"

"Sure." Mark nodded in response and for the first time that morning, Chelsea grinned. "What's the message?"

"That once summer break is over, I'll be working my ass off, so I can make up for every past mistake I've made, and that they will finally have a reason to be proud of the black sheep of the family." Chelsea responded, and Mark paused for a moment before smiling.

"Sis, just because you're the black sheep, doesn't mean that mom and dad aren't proud of you." Mark responded, and Chelsea still looked unsure of herself. "You don't need to beat yourself up over that, honest."

"Easy for you to say, I'm still the only family member with a criminal record, even if it was expunged when I turned eighteen." Chelsea responded with an annoyed sigh before shaking her head. "No, I'm getting into that again, way to early to have a nasty argument like that."

"You get no argument from me." Mark nodded in agreement before stepping aside. "Your friends are waiting at the hotel restaurant, you still have an hour until breakfast is over."

"Thanks." Chelsea nodded before stepping out of her room, she let out a deep breath before turning to Mark. "Oh, and Mark? Say hi to mom and dad for me."

"Will do Chelsea." Mark nodded before he watched his younger sister leave the penthouse suite.

*later downstairs*

The elevator finally reached the ground level and Chelsea stepped out of the elevator after letting an older couple get off first, she glanced around the hotel lobby for a second before she headed straight to the hotel restaurant where she was waved over by Chloe to the big table that the duelists were all sharing.

"Morning guys." Chelsea greeted them as she walked up to the table and sat next to Chloe. "Have you ordered yet?"

"We were waiting for you." Brandon responded as he shook his head before passing her the menu which she took. "So, are we going to talk about the elephant in the room?"

"Which one?" Chelsea asked earning confused looks from the other duelists. "Oh right, you guys were sleep for the second one." Chelsea responded as she quickly made her choice and handed the menu back to Brandon. "Don't ask me how but an Orichalcos Duelist was with us up in the penthouse last night."

"And I already don't like where this is going." Nicola responded with a sigh as she caught on. "How are your siblings?"

"Danny, Chris and Mark are okay, but Jamie…" Chelsea trailed off as she leaned forward on the table. "I caught the Orichalcos Duelist in the process of capturing Jamie's soul." Chelsea added, and the other duelists eyes widened when it hit them. "And if you can believe it, it gets worse! I know the Orichalcos Duelist that targeted my sister, he was the boy I was dating when I realized that I was gay." Chelsea explained, and the other duelists winced in response. "His name is Dan, I think he escaped the penthouse via the fire escape on the lower balcony because he ran in that direction after the Seal closed in around Jamie."

"Either that or he's being scraped off the city street with a spatula." Lance nodded in response before he shook his head. "We need to eliminate them before they go after other family members, Sophie and Mike are staying in Phoenix with my mom and dad, I don't know about you but that's a pretty long journey for any Orichalcos Duelist to take on short notice."

"Same thing with my mom, only replace Phoenix with New York." Theresa responded as she shook her head. "I know you mentioned that Beth's staying with her family in Idaho Chelsea, any other family members accounted for?"

"Mom and dad are flying in from Chicago, none of my extended family duel and whilst dad is a duelist himself, we should be done or at least keeping them busy by the time they touch down in LA." Chelsea responded with a nod before turning to Chloe. "Anyone else?"

"Mom's back in Domino City, and since they are gearing up for this final showdown, I doubt they'll be sending any agents after her." Chloe responded before the waitress came over and took their orders, once she was gone Chloe continued. "But we're missing the bigger picture here guys, Victor said on that video that he was close to achieving his goal, how close I don't know but with Jamie's soul captured, he's one step closer towards it."

"And I bet his office is filled with Orichalcos Duelists waiting to duel us, and win or lose, he'll gain a soul either way." Brandon nodded in understanding with a frown on his face. "I don't like it either Chloe, but our best bet is to attack him quickly."

"Hence why we're heading over there as soon as we've finished breakfast." Theresa nodded before turning to Chelsea. "You want to talk about the other elephant in the room?"

"Not in a public place, I'll tell you on the car ride over." Chelsea responded as she shook her head before glancing out the window. "Sit tight sis, I'm coming for you!"

*later*

It was a long car drive, but the duelists arrived at the corporate headquarters of Santiago Inc, as the students exited the cars they looked up at the tall building before they stepped into the parking lot, aside from the cars that had been used to transport them to the building the parking lot was vacant, and Sophia led the group as they approached the entrance.

"Door appears to be unlocked, so it seems we can go straight in." Sophia said before pushing the door open and holding it open for the students as they entered the first floor which was like a ghost town. "Hello? Anyone home?" Sophia called out as she and the other duelists looked around, the doors to the side of the room opened and nine Orichalcos Duelists poured out before facing the duelists. "I knew this was too easy."

"Only Chloe, Theresa, Tyler, Brandon, Lance, Chelsea, Nicola, Andreas and Marcus may pass." The leader of the group said as they activated their duel disks. "The rest of you? Well, your souls will soon be forfeit."

"You guys go on ahead." Amanda told the students who had been singled out and they glanced over their shoulders. "We'll hold down the fort here, besides, we can update each other via text."

"Got it." Chloe nodded before the students bushed past the duelists and rushed upstairs, by the time they reached the second floor they were more than ready for action as they opened the door. "Any ideas on who they'll throw at us first?"

"I don't care, as long as Dan's one of them." Chelsea responded before they heard a very familiar and annoying laugh. "You have got to be kidding me?"

"What's the matter?" Cameron Matthews asked as he stepped into view alongside Thomas Newborne and Jessica Stevens. "Unhappy to see us?"

"I'm about as happy to see you scumbags as I am to receive a lecture from Martin!" Chloe spat back as her eyes narrowed. "I always knew you idiots were no good but working for the Orichalcos Duelists?!"

"Why not? No respectable dueling organization will take us on." Thomas responded with a scoff. "Let's get down to brass tacks, we are here for your souls, now Jessica has called dibs on Chelsea already but that leaves…..."

"I volunteer." Nicola interrupted him as she pushed her way to the front. "I've waited a long time to get my revenge on what you idiots did to me!"

"In that case, I'll happily take on Cameron." Chloe added as she stepped forward. "Because as far as I'm concerned? We have unfinished business stemming from our first duel."

"Very well, this won't take long." Cameron scoffed as the three duelists got into position and activated their duel disks.

*meanwhile*

Victor was watching the action on both floors from his office with his elbows on the desk and a stoic expression on his face, the silence was soon broken as Jack walked up behind him and frowned.

"Sending the former students out first." Jack commented with a chuckle as he watched the action on the screen. "So, when are you sending Otto out?"

"In due time." Victor responded as he watched the nine robed duelists simultaneously activate the Orichalcos, before he could say another word Juliana entered the room.

"Sir, there's been an intruder alert on the third floor." Juliana informed him, and Victor glanced up. "Redemption Seekers, they are heading down to the second floor as we speak."

"Have the duelist on that floor deal with them." Victor responded before Jack left the room. "And have someone prepare my personal dueling arena."

"Are you sure they'll get this far?" Juliana asked, and Victor nodded.

"If any of the duelists on the bottom floor manage to bet them, I'll be surprised to be frank." Victor responded before he locked eyes with the screen showing the three duels on floor two. "And it starts with them."

Whilst that was going on Jack went up to Juliana's desk just outside the office and saw that see had a warm cup off coffee on the desk, after checking to see that no one was looking he took out a vial and emptied its contents into the coffee mug.

"Jack." Sarah's voice rang out and after he nearly jumped out of his skin, he looked up seeing Sarah standing by the door to her floor. "Are they here yet?"

"Yeah, they just arrived, Chloe, Chelsea and Nicola are dueling Cameron, Jessica and Thomas on the second floor." Jack nodded before he quickly pocketed the vial. "Those idiots are all bark with no bite, it won't take them long to reach the third floor."

"I hope so." Sarah responded as she walked away. "I'd hate for my chance to take out Chloe to be stolen by some spoiled brat." Sarah added before returning to her floor, once he was sure that he was alone he slunk into the shadows and waited.

"Just a matter of time, this might be the last chance I'll have, so I may as well have some fun with Juliana whilst I'm at it." Jack thought as he watched Victor's door.

*back on the second floor*

"I'll go first!" Cameron, Jessica and Thomas declared simultaneously before they looked over their hands, Nicola and Chelsea remained silent, but Chloe didn't.

"Let me see if I can predict your move, Terra-Forming, Seal of the Orichalcos, monster in attack mode." Chloe commented, and Cameron growled at her. "So, was I right?"

"Always knew you were too smart for your own good Richardson, I activate Terra-Forming!" Cameron announced as he played the card and started inputting commands into his duel disk before he added the spell to his hand. "And it's exactly as you predicted! I activate the Seal of the Orichalcos." Cameron announced as he played the infamous Spell Card and the seal enveloped both him and Chloe and the pentagram appeared on his forehead. "You will pay for costing me my spot at Duel Academy!"

"I will pay? I was barely awake when Martin expelled you and Thomas!" Chloe protested as she folded her arms. "If anything, you should be mad at Nicola not me!"

"How about you don't give them the idea to duel me at the same time!" Nicola protested, and Chloe winced as she glanced over at Nicola. "I've already been double teamed by these idiots once and I don't want to go through that again! Okay, technically I was triple teamed but that's not the point!"

"Quiet you!" Cameron sneered at Nicola who glared at him. "Thomas will deal with the retard momentarily."

"You have no idea how lucky you are that your hiding behind that wall." Chelsea chimed in with an angry look on her face and Cameron growled.

"As will Jessica with the dyke! I set two cards facedown and I summon Steelswarm Caller!" Cameron announced as he played the card and, whilst Jessica and Thomas opened their turns in much the same way, the black humanoid insect appeared on the field (4/1700/0) and its attack points increased to 2200 thanks to the seal. "It's your move." Cameron announced, and Chloe nodded before she quickly drew her card and looked over her hand.

"Okay, just Steelswarm Caller and two facedown cards, what could go wrong?" Chloe thought before looking over her hand. "That's right, I don't have anything that can attack over it, better play defensively." Chloe thought before playing a card. "I set a monster in defense mode." Chloe announced as the facedown monster appeared on the field. "And I activate Arcane Barrier!" Chloe announced as her Continuous Spell Card appeared on the field. "You've seen me play this card enough times during the tag team tournament to know what this does, I end my turn with a facedown card." Chloe announced as the facedown card appeared on the field and Cameron drew his card.

*over at Chelsea's duel*

"Now that I've got the seal in play, I can make you pay!" Jessica responded with a maniacal grin as the seal appeared on her forehead. "For what you did to my face and costing me my spot in Duel Academy."

"Oh please, if anything I improved your face!" Chelsea responded as she rolled her eyes and Jessica growled. "And as for your spot, you cost yourself it when you attacked Nicola!"

"I'll show you! I activate Dark Room of Nightmare!" Jessica snapped at her before playing a card and her Continuous Spell appeared on the field. "And I activate Tremendous Fire, now you take a combined total of 1200 points of damage and I'll take 500 points of damage!" Jessica added as the two girls were burnt bringing Chelsea's life-points to 6800 and Jessica's life-points down to 7500. "I set two cards facedown and end my turn."

"So, here's one thing I've been wondering since that fateful day when your face had an intimate meeting with my fists." Chelsea stated as she drew her card and added it to her hand. "When I was waiting to hear my fate outside of Martin's office your mom came up to me and asked if I was the one who attacked you, when I said yes, she told me that everything was going to be alright and I found out that she campaigned for me not to be expelled, why?"

"Hell, if I know." Jessica scoffed as she spat to the ground. "They disowned me the moment I got off the ship, saying that they couldn't believe that I'd do something so horrid, when I received the Orichalcos the day after, I made sure they were my first victims." Jessica added before motioning to Nicola. "Really, what's so wrong with trying to put a retard in her place?"

"If I had a pen and paper and the fate of the world wasn't at stake, I'd write a list, and it'd be a long one, of what is so wrong with that!" Chelsea responded as her eyes narrowed. "So instead, you can try this on for size! I summon Wattcobra!" Chelsea announced as she played the card and the multicolored snake appeared on the field ready for battle (4/1000/500). "Wattcobra, attack her life-points directly!" Chelsea commanded, and the snake launched herself at Jessica bringing her life-points down to 6500. "Look on the Brightside Jessica, the snake you just took to the face is a lot bigger than the snake you take to the face whenever you have sex with Cameron!"

"I'm standing right here!" Cameron protested as he turned his attention away from Chloe for a moment.

"That's the point, since I attacked directly with Wattcobra, his effect activates allowing me to search through my deck for another Watt Monster!" Chelsea added as she started inputting commands into her duel disk and once, she had the card she wanted she added it to her hand. "I set two cards facedown and end my turn." Chelsea announced as she played the two cards and Jessica drew her card whilst glaring daggers at Chelsea.

*over at Thomas's duel*

"You claim to want to get revenge on me." Thomas commented with a scoff as he glared at Nicola. "What you don't know is that we were trying to do you a favor."

"Yeah, no." Nicola responded as she rolled her eyes. "I don't see how beating the crap out of me and leaving me facedown in the mud is a favor! In fact, by that same logic Chelsea was doing an even bigger favor when she beat the crap out of Jessica!"

"Quiet you!" Thomas growled before playing a card. "I summon X-Saber Galahad to the field!" Thomas announced as he played the card and the tall male X-Saber in brown armor appeared on the field (4/1800/800). "I set one card facedown and end my turn." Thomas announced once Galahad's power increased to 2300 thanks to the seal and Nicola drew her card.

"I may have Chloe or Chelsea's experience, but I will proudly put the Orichalcos to rest alongside them." Nicola thought as she glanced at the other two girls dueling alongside her before looking at her hand. "I activate my own Terra-Forming!" Nicola announced before she started inputting commands into her duel disk, once she had retrieved her signature Field Spell, she added it to her hand and let her deck shuffle before playing it. "No use in keeping you in suspense, I activate Ancient City – Rainbow Ruins!" Nicola announced as the scenery in their part of the duel changed to the ruins, however the state of the ruins was far worse than in the original artwork and even the rainbow's colors were diluted. "I had heard that the Orichalcos tends to corrupt Field Spells."

"You say corrupt, I say improve!" Thomas scoffed, and Nicola shook her head before playing a card.

"I summon Crystal Beast – Sapphire Pegasus!" Nicola announced as she played the card and the beautiful winged horse appeared on the field with a whinny (4/1800/1200). "This activates her effect, allowing me to search through my deck for another Crystal Beast and put it in my Spell/Trap Card zone."

"Send all the pathetic beasts you want to the Spell/Trap Card field." Thomas scoffed as Nicola ignored him whilst she inputted commands. "It won't save you."

"We're going to have to agree to disagree there." Nicola responded as her eyes narrowed before she played the card in question. "I set two cards facedown and end my turn." Nicola announced, and Thomas drew his card. "I hope Chloe and Chelsea are doing okay over there." Nicola thought as she glanced over at Chloe's side of the field.

*back at Chloe's duel*

"Perfect!" Cameron exclaimed upon drawing his card before playing it. "First I activate Foolish Burial to send one monster from my deck to the graveyard!" Cameron announced as he played the card and promptly sent a monster to the graveyard once he had retrieved it from his deck. "Next I sacrifice Steelswarm Caller to summon Steelswarm Mantis!" Cameron announced as Steelswarm Caller disappeared from the field only to be replaced by a large humanoid mantis (5/2200/0) and its power increased to 2700 thanks to the seal. "This activates not one but two effects, first the effect of Steelswarm Caller allows me to Special Summon one Steelswarm monster from my deck if it's level four or lower."

"The way he's acting, you'd think this was the first time we're dueling." Chloe thought as Cameron inputted commands into his duel disk. "Then again, he always was a condescending prick, so I shouldn't be surprised."

"I use Steelswarm Caller's effect to Special Summon Steelswarm Gatekeeper!" Cameron announced as he played the card and a large four legged insect appeared on the field (4/1500/1900). "And now for Steelswarm Mantis's effect, when I tribute summon it, I can Special Summon one Steelswarm Monster from my graveyard at the cost of a thousand life-points." Cameron added before wincing as his life-points dropped to 7000 before Caller returned to the field. "So, tell me Richardson, how much have the events of the Battle Royal haunted your nightmares?"

"You crippled my deck for several turns until Lance destroyed it, I hardly consider that a reason for me to be haunted by nightmares." Chloe responded as her eyes narrowed. "So, if you're going to summon Ophion again, why the delay?"

"An excellent point, I use Steelswarm Caller and Gatekeeper to build the Overlay Network!" Cameron announced as the two monsters were sucked into the dark portal. "I XYZ Summon Evilswarm Ophion!" Cameron announced as he played the card and the large four-legged dragon like creature appeared on the field (Rank: 4/2550/1650). "Just in case you need a refresher course, as long as Ophion has XYZ Material attached any monster that is Level 4 or above can't be Special Summoned, which I believe locks off access to your best cards, oh and don't forget about the Orichalcos." Cameron added as the pentagram appeared on Ophion's head increasing its attack power to 3050.

"One problem with that Cameron, my hand isn't as bad as it was during the Battle Royal." Chloe responded with a confident grin on her face. "And sooner or later, I'll destroy Ophion!"

"We'll see about that! Steelswarm Mantis, attack her defense monster!" Cameron commanded, and the mantis flew into battle before slashing Chloe's facedown Apprentice Magician (2/400/800) to shreds. "How predictable."

"Says the Steelswarm player who just did a Tribute Summon in his turn." Chloe responded as she rolled her eyes before she started inputting commands into her duel disk. "And as we established during the Battle Royal, anything that's level four or lower is fair game." Chloe added before setting the monster as Arcane Barrier gained a counter. "So, are you ready to attack with your Komodo Dragon on steroids?"

"I will teach you to respect my monster! Evilswarm Ophion, attack her defense monster!" Cameron commanded, and the monster breathed black fire at the facedown monster, revealed to be another Apprentice Magician, which was quickly destroyed. "Summon your last Apprentice Magician so I can get this over with!"

"I would if my last Apprentice Magician wasn't in my hand." Chloe thought as she looked at the monster in question. "But that doesn't mean I can't summon another monster." Chloe thought before setting a third monster on the field as Arcane Barrier gained another counter. "Are you done or did destroying my monsters somehow allow you to do another Tribute Summon?"

"If such a Steelswarm Monster existed I would've added it to my hand long ago, it's your move Richardson!" Cameron sneered, and Chloe nodded before drawing her card.

"I only have one chance to make this work." Chloe thought before activating her trap card depicting Dark Magician casting a spell on a grave. "I activate Resurrection Magic! Since I have two or more Spellcasters in my graveyard I can special summon them both with their effects negated." Chloe announced as she played the cards and the two Apprentice Magicians returned to the field. "They'll be banished by the end phase, but they won't be around that long."

"What do you plan to do? Tribute them?" Cameron scoffed as he stared down the two magicians. "The best monster you could summon under those circumstances is Dark Magician and with the Orichalcos out, he doesn't stand a chance!"

"That's where your wrong Cameron, I've got something else in mind." Chloe responded as her facedown monster flipped up. "First I flip summon Old Vindictive Magician!"

"NO!" Cameron shouted once the implications hit him as the elderly magician appeared on the field (2/450/600) and casted a spell at Ophion destroying it. "You'll pay for that Richardson!"

"Okay, do you even know my first name or are you refusing to use it just to be an ass?" Chloe asked as she placed a hand on her hip. "Genuine question here!"

"As long as you are in Ra Yellow, you are not worthy of being called by your first name Chloe." Cameron responded and the way that he said her name made it clear to Chloe that he had nothing but contempt for her. "Now finish your move!"

"Your funeral! I activate the last effect of Arcane Barrier, sending it to the graveyard alongside Old Vindictive Magician to draw three cards." Chloe announced as her two cards disappeared from the field and she made her draws. "About time I made my normal summon, I summon Gemini Elf!" Chloe announced as she played the card and the twin elves appeared on the field ready for battle (4/1900/900). "Next I activate my other trap card Power Down, with this I take the strongest creature on my side of the field and change it's attack and defense stats to match the weakest creature."

"Intentionally weakening your own monster? You must be desperate." Cameron responded as Gemini Elf's attack dropped to 400 and their defense dropped to 800. "What is your game Richardson?"

"I'll show you! I activate Star Bright, Star Light! Since I have three monsters with the same defense points, I can increase or decrease their levels to match the others, in this case I'm increasing their levels to four." Chloe announced as she played the card and the two Apprentice Magicians levels increased to four. "Incase you haven't figured it out yet, I'm taking a page out of your book! I use my three monsters to construct the overlay network!" Chloe announced as the three monsters were sucked into the dark portal and she grabbed a card from her extra deck. "I summon Alchemic Magician!" Chloe announced as she played the card and the teenaged girl emerged from the network with long green hair in the blue and green outfit appeared on the field with the crystal ball (Rank: 4/1500/1500).

"All that set up for a monster with 1500 attack points, I'd be disappointed if you hadn't made my win over you easier." Cameron scoffed, and Chloe smirked.

"Well for starters Alchemic Magician gains two hundred attack points for each Spell Card in my graveyard, right now? I count two." Chloe responded as her monster's attack increased to 2100. "I set two cards facedown and end my turn, oh and this activates my magicians' effect!"

"What effect?!" Cameron demanded as his eye narrowed and Chloe grinned.

"During my end phase I can detach one overlay unit and discard one card from my hand to search my deck for a Spell Card and set it facedown." Chloe. explained before detaching one of the Apprentice Magicians and she started inputting commands into her duel disk, once she had set the card facedown, she nodded to Cameron, and Cameron frowned as he drew his card. "I likely missed a lot just doing that move but it should be worth it." Chloe thought as she glanced over at Chelsea's duel.

*meanwhile at Chelsea's duel*

"I'll teach you to respect me, bitch!" Jessica growled as she drew her card. "But I will throw you a bone, I activate Spellbook inside he Pot, now we'll both draw three cards."

"Your too kind." Chelsea responded as she rolled her eyes before the two women drew their three cards. "And as for that respect thing? My parents taught me that respect is earned, but I guess a spoiled brat like you doesn't know anything about that!"

"Shut your mouth!" Jessica snapped at her before sending her Spell Card to the graveyard and looking at the cards in her hand. "And just for that, I summon Tour Guide from the Underworld!" Jessica announced as she played the card and the red haired tour guide appeared on the field (3/1000/500) and her attack went up to 1500 thanks to the seal. "This activates her effect…."

"Yeah, no, I'm not letting you get Acid Golem out this early." Chelsea interrupted her before discarding a card from her hand. "I negate Tour Guide's effect with Effect Veilor!" Chelsea added, and Jessica growled as Chelsea held up the Spellcaster monster. "You can thank Chloe for the idea to add this to my deck by the way."

"You'll be joining your roommate in the Orichalcos soon enough! First I activate Foolish Burial!" Jessica announced as she played the card and started searching through her deck.

"And what is that card doing in a burn deck?" Chelsea asked with a raised eyebrow before Jessica sent the monster to the graveyard. "That would be like me running a card that prevents my monsters from inflicting damage!"

"You'll find out soon enough!" Jessica responded as her deck shuffled. "Now I may not be able to use her effect, but what I can do is have her attack! Tour Guide, attack Wattcobra!" Jessica commanded, and the Tour Guide charged towards Wattcobra…...

"You'd think people would be used to this combo by now." Chelsea muttered under her breath as her facedown card flipped up. "I activate Interdimensional Matter Transporter! This Trap Card removes Wattcobra from play for the rest of the turn." Chelsea added as Wattcobra disappeared from the field. "But you can still attack me directly!"

"After what you did to my face? Gladly! Tour Guide, attack her life-points directly!" Jessica commanded, and Tour Guide went straight up to Chelsea before slapping her across the face bringing her life-points down to 5300.

"I got attacked by being bitch slapped by a Duel Monster, I'll give you credit where it's due Jessica, that's a new one." Chelsea deadpanned as she rubbed her aching cheek, the same one that had been recently tattooed no less, before her other facedown card flipped up. "But by doing so you've allowed me to activate Damage Condenser! Now I can use this Trap Card to Special Summon one monster from my deck with attack points equal too or less than the damage I just took! And thanks to my Watt Monsters having low attack points in general I have plenty to choose from!"

"Just make your choice already!" Jessica growled, and Chelsea grinned in response once she had inputted her commands and retrieved the monster.

"I summon Wattberyx!" Chelsea announced as she slapped the card down causing the small fish to appear on the field (3/300/0). "So, are you done yet? Or do I have to wait another few minutes to kick your ass to the cheap strip club you've clearly been working at since your expulsion?"

"Make your move!" Jessica growled in response and once Wattcobra returned to the field Chelsea drew her card.

"Part of me is glad that I took out Wattcastle a while ago, hate to imagine what the Orichalcos would do to that Field Spell." Chelsea thought as she glanced over at Nicola's duel. "I set two cards facedown." Chelsea announced as she set the two cards down. "And I attack your life-points with Wattcobra!" Chelsea announced as the cobra leapt into action.

"Too easy." Jessica scoffed as she flipped her hair before activating her facedown card. "I activate Spirit Force!" Jessica announced, and Chelsea's eyes narrowed. "Why yes, I do remember that duel you had with that loser."

"Yeah and as long as you have that thing on the field my monsters can't do crap to your life-points." Chelsea grumbled under her breath as Wattcobra's attack was stopped by a field of light, what caught Chelsea's attention was the fact that Jessica had retrieved a card from her graveyard. "Well that explains Foolish Burial, also, since when did you have Warriors in your deck?"

"Since my unfair expulsion." Jessica responded as she rolled her eyes and Chelsea went to correct her but thought better of it as Jessica added the monster to her hand. "So, end your turn already!"

"I end my turn." Chelsea announced, and Jessica drew her card. "This all depends on whether Jessica's dumb enough to attack first and then XYZ Summon Acid Golem, and that's only if she was smart enough to send something like Marauding Captain to the graveyard with Foolish Burial last turn." Chelsea thought before glancing over at Nicola. "Come on Nicola, you can do this!"

*over at Nicola's duel*

"Blast, I don't have the cards I need to go full force against her yet!" Thomas thought as he looked over his hand. "But I can cause damage." Thomas thought before pointing at Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus. "X-Saber Galahad attack her Pegasus now! And since he is attacking, his attack goes up by another five hundred points." Thomas commanded as Galahad's attack increased to 2800 and it charged at Sapphire Pegasus….

"You'll have to take a raincheck on that! I activate Beast Soul Swap to return Sapphire Pegasus to my hand and Special Summon a Beast Type Monster in her place!" Nicola announced as Sapphire Pegasus disappeared from the field causing Galahad to stop in his tracks. "Galahad a target for his attack but not anymore."

"That pun was so bad it made every single pun Lance Alvers has ever made sound like the pinnacle of comedy." Thomas deadpanned as a sweat-drop rolled down his head and Nicola laughed nervously.

"Yeah, that was the best one I could come up with on short notice." Nicola admitted as she picked up a card. "I'm agreeing with an Orichalcos Duelist, what the hell has become off me?!" Nicola thought before playing a card. "And now for the second part of Beast Soul Swap's effect, allowing me to Special Summon one Beast Type Monster in its place, I chose Sapphire Pegasus again!" Nicola added as her Pegasus returned to the field. "And this allows me to use her effect again!"

"Add all the monsters you want to your back row, it won't help." Thomas responded as Nicola searched through her deck and placed the monster in the Spell/Trap Card zone. "Especially since I can still attack! Galahad, resume your attack!" Thomas commanded, and Galahad charged into battle before decapitating Sapphire Pegasus.

"I still take damage but thanks to Rainbow Ruins the total damage I'll take is halved." Nicola responded as her life-points dropped to 7500 and Sapphire Pegasus appeared in the backrow. "Are you done yet?"

"Take your move." Thomas responded with a nod and Nicola drew her card.

"I activate Crystal Promise! With this I can Special Summon one Crystal Beast from my Spell/Trap Card zone! I chose Crystal Beast – Ruby Carbacle!" Nicola announced as she played the card and the small, ruby colored cat appeared on the field (3/300/300). "This activates her effect, allowing me to Special Summon as many Crystal Beast monsters as I want to the field, so welcome back Sapphire Pegasus and Amber Mammoth!" Nicola announced as she played the cards and Sapphire Pegasus appeared on the field alongside the amber colored mammoth (4/1700/1600).

"And that triggers Sapphire Pegasus's effect all over again." Thomas responded as he rolled his eyes whilst Nicola searched through her deck. "I don't know what else I would expect from a re…..."

"Stop." Nicola said simply as her head snapped up and she glared at Thomas. "I was already sick of being called that before you beat the crap out of me and seriously, do you have anything more original to call me than that name?!" Nicola added, and Thomas went to respond but couldn't find the words. "Thought not, just because I'm a Special Needs person does not mean I'm less intelligent than you."

"The fact that you fell for our trap in the first place says otherwise." Thomas responded with a scoff as Nicola added the monster to her Spell/Trap Card zone. "I could replay the whole beating if you want."

"Oh please, go ahead, play that in front of my friends, and my boyfriend." Nicola responded as she rolled her eyes before motioning to the others. "See how well that works out for you, win or lose! Anyway, for my normal summon, I'm bringing out Crystal Beast – Garnet Dolphin!" Nicola announced as she played the card and the red crystal dolphin appeared on the field ready for battle (2/500/200).

"None of those monsters can hope to stand against mine!" Thomas scoffed, and Nicola grinned. "If you were hoping to impress me by swarming the field with pathetic monsters, you've failed."

"There is one last move I want to make, because I'm about to do a Synchro Summon for the first time!" Nicola responded and the grin on Thomas's face disappeared. "I tune my tuner monster Garnet Dolphin with Ruby Carbacle!" Nicola announced as the two monsters leapt into the air for the Synchro Summon. "I Synchro Summon Crystal Beast – Diamond Dino!" Nicola announced as she played the card and a new monster appeared on the field, it was a large velociraptor that was silver in color and was glaring at Thomas (5/2200/1700). "First off, since I summoned him using Crystal Beasts the Crystal Beasts used to summon him go to my Spell/Trap Card Zone rather than my graveyard."

"Doesn't matter!" Thomas scoffed as Ruby Carbacle and Carnet Dolphin appeared behind Nicola's monsters. "My Synchro Monsters are far superior to yours!"

"He has another effect, but I'll get to that later." Nicola responded before grinning. "And I've seen enough of your duels to know that whilst Galahad gains attack points from attacking, the opposite is true for when he's attacked." Nicola added, and the grin disappeared from Thomas face. "Diamond Dino, attack Galahad!" Nicola commanded, and the dinosaur charged into battle before slashing Galahad with his claws bringing Thomas's life-points down to 7600. "Galahad a bad day, but yours is about to get worse! Amber Mammoth, Sapphire Pegasus, attack his life-points directly!"

"If my soul wasn't on the line, her puns would drive me to surrender." Thomas thought before the attacks hit bringing his life-points down to 4100. "You have the lead but at what cost? I activate my Trap Card Damage Rebound! Now the total amount of damage I just took on this turn is dealt to you!" Thomas responded as his facedown card flipped up and Nicola's eyes widened as she was hit by a blast of energy bringing her life-points down to 3900. "Oh, and one more thing, it's a Continuous Trap Card meaning I can do it at the end of each of your battle phases."

"I was wondering when the broken cards were coming out." Nicola thought as she forced herself to her feet at the same time as Thomas. "It's your move!" Nicola announced, and Thomas drew his card. "Hope the other girls are doing better than I am!"

*back at Chloe's duel*

"So, what if you destroyed Ophion? Your XYZ Monster can't hope to compare to my monster." Cameron commented with a grin before he looked at his hand. "First, I activate Call of the Haunted to bring back Steelswarm Gatekeeper." Cameron announced as his facedown card flipped up. "Now to secure your defeat, I activate Lullaby of Obedience!" Cameron announced as he played the card and his life-points dropped to 6000. "I'll take your Silent Magician Level 8 please!"

"Sorry, still need it! I chain my facedown card Solemn Warning! I pay two thousand life-points so that Lullaby of Obedience is negated." Chloe added as her life-points dropped to 6000 and the spell card's hologram shattered. "I've had my own ace monster used against me once, don't want to go through that again." Chloe added, and Cameron growled before sending the Spell Card to the graveyard and Chloe smirked. "So, did you have a plan beyond stealing my monster again?"

"As a matter of fact, yes! Steelswarm Mantis, attack Alchemic Magician!" Cameron commanded, and the large humanoid mantis flew towards Chloe's magician…...

"Don't think so! The card I discarded last turn was A/D Changer and I'm banishing it from my graveyard to force Steelswarm Mantis into defense mode!" Chloe responded as she pocketed her monster and the strange ogre appeared on the field (1/0/0) before promptly holding up the red flag causing Steelswarm Mantis to shift to defense mode. "And Steelswarm Mantis has zero defense points making him easy pickings even for my weakest monsters!"

"Make your move!" Cameron responded through gritted teeth and Chloe drew her card.

"So, here's one thing I don't understand Cameron, even after everything you said during our first duel, after watching you in the tag team tournament I came to think of you as the more reasonable of the two compared to your girlfriend." Chloe commented as she added the card to her hand and Jessica glared at her. "Oh, focus on your own duel already Jessica! That opinion changed the further you got in the tournament but even then, I'm still wondering, why?"

"If your asking about my part in the assault on the retard over there." Cameron responded as he rolled his eyes earning a glare from Nicola. "I believe Jessica already explained that during her expulsion duel against you."

"Yeah, she did, for better or worse." Chloe responded as she glared at Jessica momentarily. "And now I'm not focusing on my own duel! Hello Ms. Kettle, I'd like to introduce you to Ms. Pot, she has a lot to talk to you about how black you are!" Chloe thought as a sweat-drop rolled down her head before turning her attention back to Cameron. "Back to my point, and now here you are using the Orichalcos alongside Jessica and Thomas, why? With your good looks, you could've done anything you set your mind too."

"Well, thank you for the complement at least." Cameron responded with a cocky grin. "But as for why, after me and Thomas where expelled, we had nothing! Our parents disowned us, cut us off from our inheritance, and the same thing happened to Jessica two days later! Thomas had already encountered the Orichalcos thanks to Otto and he put us in touch with Victor!" Cameron added before grinning broadly. "It's all because we were expelled that we joined the Orichalcos and me and Jessica made sure our parents paid the price, now we are getting our revenge on you."

"You're getting your revenge on me, because you were expelled for brutally attacking Nicola?" Chloe asked with a deadpan expression on her face. "I knew I should've brought my World's Smallest Violin on this trip with me! Anyway, I activate Call of the Haunted to bring back the Apprentice Magician I sent to the graveyard last turn for Alchemic Magician's effect." Chloe announced as her facedown card flipped up and Apprentice Magician returned to the field. "But she isn't sticking around, I activate my facedown card Magical Dimension! I send Apprentice Magician back to my graveyard to Special Summon another Spellcaster in her place!"

"I wonder who it'll be?" Cameron asked sarcastically as Apprentice Magician disappeared from the field and sure enough Dark Magician appeared on the field ready for battle (7/2500/2100).

"And it gets better, for me at least! When Magical Dimension is used to Special Summon a monster, I can destroy one monster on the field, like Gatekeeper!" Chloe added, and a blast hit Gatekeeper destroying it. "Now I activate Magic Planter! I no longer need Call of the Haunted, so I destroy it to draw two cards." Chloe added as her continuous Trap Card shattered and drew two cards. "And I just sent two Spell Cards to the graveyard meaning Alchemic Magician gains four hundred attack points!" Chloe added as Alchemic Magician's attack went up to 2500. "Dark Magician, attack Steelswarm Mantis! Dark Magic Attack!" Chloe commanded, and the famous magician stretched out it's palm at Steelswarm Mantis destroying it with his famous attack. "Alchemic Magician, attack his life-points directly!" Chloe commanded, and the younger magician prepared a spell of her own.

"Unlike my girlfriend, I don't go down that easily!" Cameron responded, and Jessica's head snapped up when she heard that. "I activate…."

"I HEARD THAT!" Jessica yelled and Cameron sweat-dropped before turning to her.

"You were the one who freely admitted to sleeping with half the Obelisk Blue Boy's Dorm behind my back!" Cameron pointed out and Chloe sweat-dropped.

"Wait, if she admitted that, why are you still dating her?" Chloe asked as she looked at her opponent with a deadpan expression on her face. "Am I seriously playing marriage councilor to Cameron and Jessica?! Okay, they're not married but still!"

"Because no other woman would take me once news got out of why I was expelled!" Cameron responded and Chloe sweat-dropped.

"Gee, I wonder why no woman in their right mind would date a guy who beat the crap out of an autistic girl and is proud of it!" Chloe thought before shaking her head. "You were going to respond to my attack with something, right?"

"I was getting to that! I activate XYZ Reborn! Guess who's back!" Cameron asked with an evil grin as Evilswarm Ophion returned to the field. "And since XYZ Reborn counts as material, your back to not being able to Special Summon a creature that is Level 5 or higher!"

"Than why didn't you chain it to Magical Dimension?" Chloe asked with a skeptical look on her face as Ophion's attack was increased by the seal. "Seems like a bit of an oversight to me!"

"Well for starters, Magical Dimension can be used on any Spellcaster, not just a high level one." Cameron pointed out as her folded his arms. "Second, I've always wanted to destroy Dark Magician in the most graphic way possible, and I'll be doing just that on my next turn."

"Not if I can help it." Chloe responded before picking up the two cards she had drawn with Magic Planter. "I set two cards facedown and end my turn but not before using Alchemic Magician's effect again." Chloe added as she set the two cards and sent her second Apprentice Magician to the graveyard to start searching through her deck. "I knew he'd try to steal Silent Magician again and if he tries that again, I'll be surprised." Chloe thought as she set the Spell Card and let her deck shuffle before Cameron drew his card. "Hang in there Chelsea!"

*over at Chelsea's duel*

"Can't believe Cameron would talk about me that way!" Jessica thought as Chelsea sniggered before Jessica played a card. "That's right! Laugh it up but you won't be laughing for much longer! I summon the monster I retrieved from my graveyard during your turn, Marauding Captain!" Jessica announced as she played the card and the brunette captain that Chloe had used in several of her duels appeared on the field (3/1200/400) and his attack points increased to 1700 thanks to the seal. "I would use his effect, but this was the only monster in my hand, so I can't! instead, I use my two monsters to construct the overlay network."

"I'll take "moves that I saw coming from a mile away Alex." Chelsea thought as she rolled her eyes whilst the two monsters were sucked into the dark portal and sure enough Acid Golem of Destruction appeared on the field (Rank: 3/ 3000/3000). "Oh look, it's the daily fucking double!" Chelsea thought as she glanced at the massive, grotesque monster. "Hold on a second!" Chelsea called out and Jessica blinked before leaning to the side, so she could make eye contact with Chelsea. "The Number monsters are among the rarest cards in the game, how did you get your hands on one?"

"Is it so hard to believe that I brought one from a card shop?" Jessica asked, and Chelsea scoffed.

"About as hard to believe as you not losing your virginity to Cameron when he bonked you for the first time!" Chelsea responded, and Jessica went to rebuke her comment. "Do I need to remind you of what Cameron just said?"

"Point taken." Jessica admitted before shaking her head. "Besides, half the boys in Obelisk Blue? That's an exaggeration! I only told Cameron that I was cheating on him with like twenty guys and twenty girls at the time of my expulsion."

"So, you cheated on him with forty people." Chelsea asked as she facepalmed. "Honestly? I'm beginning to think that you deserve each other at this point."

"Weren't you dating a boy when you slept with another girl? Because that's what your ex told us!" Jessica defended herself and Chelsea growled.

"I was but by that point, we had already agreed that the relationship was not working out." Chelsea responded before shaking her head. "My first time with another girl was just the straw that broke that relationship's back! Can we get back to my original question already?"

"Fine, I got Acid Golem from Thomas." Jessica responded as she motioned to Thomas. "I thought it was just an import because that was what he told me, in reality? It was a counterfeit card made by the Orichalcos Duelists' forger, and before you ask, never met the guy, apparently, he was named Dr. Schwartz or something? I don't know but last I heard, he was killed in an explosion last weekend." Jessica added before playing a card. "Back to what really matters, I activate Oni-Gami Combo, I detach both Overlay Units and in exchange my golem can attack twice!"

"Let me guess, your next card is Forbidden Chalice?" Chelsea asked, and Jessica said nothing as she played the card and Acid Golem roared as its attack increased to 3400. "Never thought I'd say this, but that Duel Monster would make for a decent Death Metal vocalist."

"Laugh it up all you want Cunningham! It's just a matter of time before I feed your soul to the Orichalcos! Acid Golem, attack Wattberyx!" Jessica commanded, and the golem lumbered forward towards Chelsea's monster….

"I activate Urgent Tuning! I use this to tune my two monsters together!" Chelsea announced as her trap card flipped up and the two monsters leapt into the air for the Synchro Summon. "I summon Watthydra!" Chelsea announced as she played the card and the multi-colored hydra appeared on the field once the flash faded (7/1500/1500). "Why bother? Because of a lesson I learned during my duel against that "loser" you mentioned earlier, my deck needed more removal cards."

"What are you talking about?!" Jessica asked as she leaned to the side again, however when she saw the second facedown card flip up her eyes widened. "Judgment of Thunder?!"

"That's right! And whilst I can't see it because of that thing in front of me I'm targeting Spirit Force!" Chelsea announced as lightning struck the trap card destroying it. "And whilst we're at it, I know that since a new monster is on the field a replay occurs."

"And I'm not changing my plan! Only difference is, the second attack will go after your life-points! Acid Golem, attack Watthydra!" Jessica commanded, and the Golem charged towards Watthydra…

"What if I told you that that was exactly what I wanted you to do?" Chelsea asked, and Jessica blinked in confusion. "I discard Honest from my hand!"

"NO!" Jessica yelled out as Watthydra's attack points shot up to 4900 and one of its heads fired a beam of light at the much larger monster destroying it and bringing Jessica's life-points down to 5600. "You may have reduced my lead, but I can still attack over your hydra!"

"With what?" Chelsea asked, and Jessica paled. "The best monster in your deck was just destroyed, you've got what? Two Stealth Birds, one Tour Guide and maybe a Sangan left? Your deck is all about burning your opponent but against an aggro deck like mine? It doesn't last long!"

"Take your turn." Jessica growled, and Chelsea grinned before drawing her card.

"What's the matter? Not as fun whilst you're not in control for most of the match?" Chelsea asked before looking at her hand and playing her drawn card. "I activate Zeus's Seal! This allows me to Special Summon one Thunder Type Monster from my hand in exchange for my next draw phase." Chelsea added before playing a card. "I summon Wattcentaur!" Chelsea added as she played the card and the multi-colored centaur appeared on the field (6/2400/1200). "For my normal summon, I bring out Wattcobra." Chelsea added as the multi-colored snake appeared on the field. "This duel is over Jessica."

"Really? Because by my math, you'll only deal me a grand total of forty nine hundred points of damage." Jessica scoffed as she stared at Chelsea's monsters. "That's not enough to beat me on this turn."

"Is it? I equip Watthydra with Megamorph!" Chelsea responded, and Jessica's eyes widened as Watthydra doubled in size and power to three thousand. "Her Nic, who was the one who threw the first punch when these guys beat the crap out of you?"

"Huh?" Nicola asked before glancing over at Chelsea's duel, when she realized what was about to happen, she grinned broadly. "Jessica, she sucker punched me from behind as I was trying to back away from Cameron and Thomas."

"Well, in that case, this should be cathartic for you." Chelsea responded, and Nicola grinned as she took a moment to watch Chelsea's duel. "Watthydra, Wattcentaur, Wattcobra, finish it!" Chelsea commanded, and the three monsters launched their attacks bringing Jessica's life-points to zero, Jessica collapsed to her knees as the seal enclosed around her. "One down, two to go."

*over at Nicola's duel*

"Excuse me, what?!" Thomas demanded as he glanced over at the duel in the middle and realized what had happened, his eyes widened in shock as had Cameron's when Jessica's blood curdling scream echoed out as her soul was taken by the Orichalcos. "You will pay for that Cunningham?"

"Why? Was she sucking your dick too?" Chelsea asked, and Thomas growled in response. "Don't you have your own duel to worry about?"

"Fine, but I'll avenge Jessica once I'm done with Nicola!" Thomas exclaimed before turning his attention back to Nicola. "I activate Reinforcement of the Army, now I add one warrior from my deck to my hand!" Thomas announced before he started inputting commands into his duel disk before retrieving the card. "I summon XX-Saber Bogart Knight!" Thomas announced as he played the card and the tall muscular warrior in silver armor appeared on the field (4/1900/1000) and his attack increased to 2400. "When he is normal summoned, I can Special Summon another X-Saber monster from my land that's level four or lower, I use it to summon X-Saber Palomuro from my hand!" Thomas announced as he played the card and the small lizard like creature appeared on the field (1/200/300) and its attack increased to 700 thanks to the seal. "You're not the only one capable of a Synchro Summon!"

"Gee, I never would've guessed after Chelsea Synchro Summoned a monster." Nicola deadpanned in response and Thomas growled.

"Just for that, I will Special Summon XX-Saber Faultrol from my hand through his effect!" Thomas responded as the heavily armored warrior appeared on the field (6/2400/1800) and his attack increased to 2900 thanks to the seal. "Now I tune Bogart Knight and Palomuro together!" Thomas announced as the two monsters leapt into the air for the Synchro Summon and the bright flash enveloped the field. "I summon X-Saber Wayne!" Thomas announced as he played the card and the cowboy of the X-Sabers appeared on the field as soon as the flash faded (5/2100/800) and his attack increased to 2600 thanks to the seal. "I don't trust that Dinosaur so I'm making it a priority target! XX-Saber Faultrol, attack Diamond Dino!" Thomas commanded, and the XX-Saber monster charged into battle….

"I activate Amber Mammoth's effect, forcing you to target him instead!" Nicola interrupted him, and Thomas scoffed as XX-Saber Faultrol changed targets.

"Fine, you'll just lose more life-points that way!" Thomas responded before Nicola's facedown card flipped up. "Amber Crystal Circle? No!"

"Yes! And I think this is what most people would call "overkill"." Nicola responded with a grin as Amber Mammoth's attack points skyrocketed to 7400. "You know what hurt most about your attack on me? It wasn't the attacks on my eye, it wasn't the broken nose that you caused by driving your knee into it." Nicola added before closing her eyes. "It was what you did after it, you took my cards out of my deck and threw them to the ground, calling them trash."

"Because they are trash! And so are you!" Thomas snapped at Nicola whose eyes narrowed. "Besides, you were facedown in the mud when that happened, how did you know that was happening."

"Because I was still conscious when Cameron threw me into the mud!" Nicola responded as she wiped a tear away at the memory. "It took me the longest, most painful hour I've experienced in my life, but I retrieved each and every card from my deck, it was the only reason why it was time for the nightly dorm check by the time I got back to Osiris Red and I wiped the dirt off them as well as I could." Nicola added before her eyes narrowed. "The last card I found was Amber Mammoth, and this is his revenge to you! Amber Mammoth, counter attack and finish this duel!"

"NO!" Thomas yelled out as the mammoth charged forward and impaled Faultrol on his tusk sending Thomas's life-points plummeting well bellow zero, the seal closed in around Thomas and Nicola grinned before going over to Chelsea and offering her a fist bump which the taller girl was happy to give.

"As I said back at the hotel, that's not a fate I wish on anyone." Nicola sighed as she glared at Thomas whilst his soul was consumed by the seal. "But at the same time, I've wanted revenge on these bastards ever since they attacked me."

"Feeling conflicted?" Chelsea asked, and Nicola nodded in response. "Don't worry about it, even after we defeat the Orichalcos these bastards will get a life-sentence when the evidence is turned over to police." Chelsea assured her, and Nicola grinned before the two girls turned their attention back to Chloe. "That just leaves Chloe."

*over at Chloe's duel*

"Seriously?!" Cameron asked as he watched Thomas fall to the ground. "I guess it's up to me." Cameron added as he drew a card. "Ophion, attack Dark Magician!"

"Remember this from the match between me and Chelsea and you and Jessica?" Chloe asked as her facedown card flipped up and Cameron's eyes widened when he saw it. "XYZ Encore, it returns Ophion to the extra deck and Special Summons the monsters used to summon it with their levels reduced." Chloe added before grinning as Ophion disappeared from the field. "But you don't have any monsters to summon, because you used a trap card to summon it, oh and since XYZ Encore is a Spell Type Card…." Chloe trailed off as Alchemic Magician's attack increased to 2700.

"Just go." Cameron said in a low voice and Chloe drew her card.

"I summon Silent Magician Level 4!" Chloe announced as the younger version of her ace monster appeared on the field (4/1000/1000). "I could just attack with my three monsters and call it a day, but you were so eager to see Silent Magician Level 8 earlier that it would be rude to not oblige you, I activate Level Up!" Chloe announced as Silent Magician Level 4 started glowing and growing into her adult form (8/3500/1000). "So, Cameron, before I finish you off, did you guys train at all since your expulsion?"

"Train? We were already the best." Cameron scoffed as he folded his arms. "Once we became employed here, all we really did was improve our decks and wait for you to arrive."

"Thought so, you see, me and my friends? We've been training for this day non stop since Duel Academy broke up for the Summer." Chloe explained as she grinned broadly. "And that was why we defeated you guys so easily, you became complacent whilst we sought to improve our decks whenever possible and train as hard as we could." Chloe added before pointing to Cameron. Dark Magician, Alchemic Magician, Silent Magician, end this duel!" Chloe commanded, and the three magicians launched their attacks at Cameron sending his life-points to zero, Chloe breathed a sigh of relief as she turned to her friends. "One floor down, god knows how many more to go."

"If these guys where at the bottom, then we had better prepare for what's next." Brandon responded before his phone went off and he answered it via Speaker Phone. "Hello?"

"Hey Brandon, it's Amanda." Amanda greeted him, and he nodded. "First the good news, the nine goons were all defeated with no casualties on our side, bad news is, it seems that Victor locked down the bottom floor after you guys left, we tried the doors and the elevators but neither of them will open."

"I've got Tyler and Chelsea with me, as the resident tech geeks it shouldn't be too hard to override the lockdown." Brandon responded, and Amanda frowned on the other end.

"No, focus on going up, besides, we've commandeered one of the rooms they were in, seems to be a break room of some kind, we're turning it into a room to keep those who's souls have been captured safe." Amanda responded, and Brandon nodded in approval. "How's things on your end?"

"Chloe, Chelsea and Nicola were challenged by Cameron Matthews, Jessica Stevens and Thomas Newborne respectively, our side won after a few turns." Brandon responded as he shook his head. "Do you want us to drop them off on the ground floor? Assuming Victor will open the doors for us?"

"I would say no given what they did to Nicola, but we found a bunch of handcuffs in here, don't ask, Adrienne's already suggesting that we use them during sex, but we can restrain them and that's the important part" Amanda responded with a nod as she glanced towards the French woman. "I'll have Dmitri meet you on the ground floor."

"Good, I'll send Tyler to take them down too you." Brandon responded with a nod. "I'll call you once the third floor is clear." Brandon added before turning to Tyler. "You get all that?"

"Yeah." Tyler responded with a nod before he picked up Cameron's prone form. "Go on ahead, I'll be awhile, meet you on the third floor." Tyler added, and they nodded before heading to the door.

*meanwhile outside Victor's office*

Whilst that was going on bellow Juliana had just returned from getting the duel arena ready for Victor.

"I didn't want any part of this, I just wanted a job." Juliana thought as she picked up her coffee mug. "I knew I should've taken that job offer as a waitress instead…." Juliana thought before taking a sip of her coffee, however as she did her eyes glazed over and she put the mug down as Jack emerged from the shadows with a sick grin on his face.

"Yes, it worked!" Jack thought before going up to Juliana and sniffing her hair. "Come with me daring, we're gonna have some fun on my level!"

"Yes….master…..." Juliana said in a dazed tone before following Jack to the elevator.
