Whilst the other teens raced up the flight of stairs Chelsea lingered behind the group with her arms crossed and looking at the floor, the events of Brandon's duel with Dan where weighing heavily on her mind even though she knew she had a job to do.

"Aside from Kaylee, my siblings were my main support group after I broke up with Dan." Chelsea thought as she reached the next step, the others were already at the top of the flight of stairs, but she was in no hurry to catch up. "And I still said those horrible things to them last night! Why do I even bother sometimes?!"

"You bother because your human." Wattchimera responded as he appeared alongside her. "We all mistakes Chelsea, you just have to learn from them."

"And I made a big one the day I asked Dan if he was interested in dating!" Chelsea thought before bumping into someone, she looked up and realized that Brandon and Chloe had stopped in front of her and where looking at her with concerned looks on their faces. "Don't mind me guys, I'm still moping over everything that happened in that last duel."

"Don't worry about it." Chloe responded as she shook her head. "That said, why didn't you say anything about this sooner?"

"Because I wanted to put it behind me, before I joined Duel Academy, I had heard that Dan had moved on and started dating another girl, whilst I did feel sorry for that girl, I also wanted to leave the past behind." Chelsea added as she uncrossed her arms. "Speaking of Duel Academy, outside of the psychiatrist that I'll be seeing once Summer Break is over, no one hears of this, I'd much rather keep that shit confidential."

"Don't worry, we won't speak of it." Brandon responded with a reassuring grin. "So, does Beth know?"

"Aside from you guys, she's the only Duel Academy student that knows, we were still getting to know each other at the time, and we started talking about former lovers, I'm Beth's first girlfriend but when I mentioned that I was straight for a time as asked what turned me gay." Chelsea explained before letting out a deep breath. "When I was finished telling her the story, she said nothing for a few seconds before giving me the biggest hug ever and said how sorry she was that I went through that, I guess that was the point where I realized that Beth might be my first long term relationship, or at least my first long term relationship that I would want to keep going until the day we died."

"Considering you started dating her when I was at Battle City, I think you were right there." Chloe responded with a grin and Chelsea grinned for the first time since the duel. "I think the others are on the next floor, we'd better hurry before we miss the start."

"Right." Chelsea nodded in agreement before she followed them upstairs.

*downstairs*

As the five duelists ascended the stairs to the sixth floor the duelists downstairs had turned to their unexpected guests who were leaning against a desk.

"I was wondering when you were going to address us." Karen Trayson commented as she stepped forward, the Battle City Semi-Finalist was dressed more modestly compared to her midriff bearing outfit from the finals but aside from that her appearance hadn't changed. "And I know you have some questions for me and Felix."

"You can say that again." Sophia responded with a frown as she walked up to the shorter woman. "Look. I know you and Felix avoided jailtime via a plea deal for your rule in the Orichalcos attack on Battle City, what I don't know is what you're doing here? Last I checked Miranda's family is from Indiana and Felix is from Louisiana, pretty long trip just to say hi to your former enemies, isn't it?"

"Would you believe that we're here on vacation?" Felix asked as he folded his arms, upon seeing the unimpressed look on Sophia's face he frowned. "Fine, you want the truth? Those kids?" Felix asked as he motioned to Marie, Jared and Drew. "They are with us."

"Brandon told us that they are from a group calling themselves the Redemption Seekers." Amanda responded as she approached the Cajun Duelists. "And if your telling the truth, that means you guys are with the Redemption Seekers."

"We ARE the Redemption Seekers." Karen corrected her as she leaned back. "When the Orichalcos resurfaced again, we banded together the surviving Orichalcos Duelists who weren't in jail with one thing in mind, bringing them down for good."

"You expect us to believe that a duelist that was practically a nobody on the American Scene and a former state champion could get together enough funds to fund a weeklong stay in Los Angeles and repeated trips to Duel Academy Island?" Sophia asked before shaking her head. "I'd believe that Kaiba admitted that Yugi is the better duelist first, where exactly are you getting your funding from?"

"He'll reveal himself in due time, but it is someone you know." Karen responded before going over to the elevator. "Now, how about we go about joining the others on the sixth floor?"

"You can override the lockdown?" Sophia asked as she and the other duelists approached the elevator, as soon as they did the elevator sprung to life and the doors opened.

"Does that answer your question?" Karen asked before setting onto the elevator. "Come on, if we hurry, we can get up there before Victor realizes that his lockdown has been overridden."

*upstairs*

As the duelists reached the sixth floor (and Brandon, Chloe and Chelsea had finally caught up with them) Brandon got a message over his phone once Chelsea had handed it back to him.

"Brandon, you don't need to keep us updated over the phone anymore." Amanda told him and Brandon blinked before staring at the phone. "We're on our way up via the elevator."

"You guys were able to get it working?" Brandon asked with a surprised look on his face catching the other duelists attention in the process.

"Not us, the newcomers we mentioned earlier." Amanda responded before Brandon heard the elevator doors closing. "We'll update you once we're on the sixth floor, be careful, since this is the second to last floor, I think its safe to say that one of Victor's right hand duelists is next."

"And we know which one." Tyler chimed in and Brandon looked up seeing the screens showing Tyler's defeat at Jack's hands. "Okay Jack, come on out! We know you're on this floor."

"Took you long enough." Jack said with a grin before emerging from the room where he had been keeping Juliana. "Remember this Tyler?" Jack asked as he motioned to the screens. "Well, I'm about to prove that history repeats itself, only this time? You won't escape the clutches of the Orichalcos."

"We'll see about that…." Tyler trailed off before the pictures on the screen changed to Jack assaulting Juliana, it was a sky view which meant that they couldn't see much but there was enough there for them to piece together what was happening. "What the hell?!"

"I was about to say the same thing!" Jack exclaimed before footsteps came down the stairs to the next floor, the duelists in the room looked up seeing Sarah and Victor entering the room. "Boss?!"

"You thought you were so clever, using my focus on the lower floors to have your way with Juliana before murdering her." Victor said calmly as he walked towards Jack. "Did you forget that I have cameras in every room except the bathrooms? What do you have to say for yourself?"

"What? That bitch cockblocked me more times than I can count and played sexy secretary with you all day!" Jack scoffed as he walked up to Victor. "And this is probably the last day of this operation! Why couldn't I have some fun with your…" Jack never finished his sentence as Victor produced a knife the same color as the Orichalcos and stabbed him in the gut. "What…"

"SHE WAS MY SISTER YOU IDIOT!" Victor bellowed and Jack's eyes widened as blood poured out of the wound. "I got her this job to get her back on her feet after her message parlor went out of business, you just assumed that I was having an affair with her." Victor added before turning to Tyler. "The duel will go on as planned, but as soon as the Orichalcos claims your soul he dies."

"Are you insane?!" Tyler asked as he stared at the man with his eyes wide. "I am sorry for what this bastard did to your sister but he's in no condition to duel, hell I can tell from her that he will die if he doesn't get urgent medical attention."

"Hey guys, what did we…..." Amanda asked as she and the other duelists emerged from the elevator but stopped at the scene before her. "Do I even want to know?!"

"Long story." Tyler answered before turning his attention to Victor. "Would your sister want this? Let him answer for his crimes in the court of justice!"

"No." Victor said as he walked towards the steps with Sarah in toe. "That blade has Special Properties, as soon as Jack's turn begins the Orichalcos will activate with or without the Spell Card, it will also keep him alive long enough to duel against you."

"He is bleeding out! There is no way he'll even make it to his turn!" Tyler pointed out as the weakened Jack got up to his feet using the desk for support. "Just let us skip the floor and move on to the next."

"Oh, trust me, you don't want that." Sarah responded as she walked towards the stairs, however when she spotted Chloe, she went straight up to her. "We will duel on the next floor, otherwise? I'll destroy your dad's soul in an instant." Sarah warned her before she walked backwards towards the stairs. "Dear sister."

"What?!" Chloe asked with a look of confusion on her face, but Sarah never said another word as she headed for the next floor. "What do you think Tyler?"

"I think this is going to be the weirdest duel I've ever participated in." Tyler responded as he activated his duel disk as did Jack. "But if it's the only way out of here, so be it." Tyler added before the two men activated their duel disks. "There's only one way I can get a decent duel out of this and that's to let the dying man go first, that is not a sentence I ever expected to say." Tyler thought before nodding to Jack. "You'll go first."

"I draw." Jack said as he drew his card and true to Victor's word the Orichalcos activated almost immediately and the seal appeared on his forehead. "Time, we settled our score Tyler." Jack added sounding a lot more energized in the process before he picked up two cards. "I set one card facedown and a monster in defense mode, your move." Jack added as the two set cards appeared on the field and Tyler drew his card.

"This is officially the strangest duel I've ever been apart off, and I've just graduated from Duel Academy," Tyler thought before glancing up and realizing the screens were still showing the attack. "Victor, can you at least turn off the screens? It's making the women in the room uncomfortable to say the last." Tyler called out and seconds later the screens shut off. "Thank you! Now onto my move! I set two cards facedown and I summon Psychic Commander!" Tyler announced as he played the cards and the psychic type tuner monster appeared on the field (3/1400/800). "Psychic Commander, attack his defense monster!" Tyler commanded and the cannon fired its attack at the monster, revealed to be Shining Angel (4/1400/800) which was quickly destroyed."

"I won't bother explaining my Angel's effect as it is a common card." Jack commented as he sent the monster to the graveyard and, despite still being in pain from the stab wound, started inputting commands into his Duel Disk. "I use my Angel's effect to summon Depressed Angel!" Jack added as he played the card and the angelic version of the Unhappy Maiden appeared on the field crouching down (1/500/200) and her attack increased to 1000 thanks to the seal. "Soon as I make my move, I'll be able to bring out my Fallen Angels."

"And before anyone asks, those cards are about as legal as what Jack did to that poor woman." Sophia chimed in and Jack growled as he glared at her. "They were put into production but never made it further than that after I realized how much of a stir religious groups would cause once the cards were released."

"Every heard of "there's no such thing as bad publicity"?" Jack asked as he glanced over at her and Sophia shook her head.

"Free publicity is one thing the game being banned in certain countries for being blasphemous is another." Sophia responded as she folded her arms. "No amount of publicity is worth that much lost revenue, besides your awfully talkative for someone whose bleeding from a stab wound to the stomach."

"That's likely the seal dragging out his death, he is a monster for what he did to that woman, but I should try to make this quick and painless." Tyler thought before looking at his hand. "It's your move." Tyler announced and Jack grunted in pain before drawing his card.

"I activate Allure of Darkness!" Jack announced as he played the card and he banished a card and drew two cards. "Here's a combo you should be familiar with, I activate Twin Twister! I discard one card and I destroy two cards on the field! One of mine and one of yours!" Jack explained as he discarded the card before the storm washed over the field destroying Tyler's facedown Urgent Tuning and Jack's facedown card. "And now my facedown card activates from the graveyard! Dimensional Break-Out! As I destroyed it whilst it was facedown, I can special summon one Dark Type Monster from the banished pile."

"Do I even need to ask what your summoning?" Tyler asked and his suspicions were confirmed when Laughing Demon appeared on the field with a mad cackle (3/600/400) and its attack increased to 1100 thanks to the seal.

"This triggers Laughing Demon's effect allowing me to Special Summon Giggling Ghoul!" Jack added as he played another card and the ghostly clown appeared on the field (1/300/600) and its attack increased to 800 thanks to the seal. "And now Dimensional Break Out's other effect! Come on out Corrupted Angel!" Jack added as he played the card and the demonic fairy appeared on the field (2/100/500) and its attack increased to 600 thanks to the seal.

"Wait, he just summoned three monsters in the same turn and all he needed to do was play three cards?!" Amanda asked as she raised a hand to object. "Do I even need to ask if any of those cards are legal Sophia?"

"They are legal but after some test runs in some select areas, we are working on making those effects more balanced." Sophia responded before frowning. "And that's not the worst part, Giggling Ghoul is a tuner monster!"

"The spoilt brat over there got it in one!" Jack responded with a grin before motioning to his facedown card. "I activate Weeping Into Heaven/Laughing into Hell! Since I have Laughing Demon and Depressed Angel on my side of the field, I can declare a level between one and ten and increase or decrease the levels of my two monsters until they match! I declare Level 8!" Jack added as the two monsters' levels rose to eight. "And this triggers Giggling Ghoul's effect."

"Chelsea is it just me or am I getting a sense of déjà vu?" Nicola whispered to Chelsea as Giggling Ghoul started glowing. "Aside from Shining Angel, his opening moves have matched the original duel against Tyler move for move."

"I know what you mean." Chelsea responded as she nodded in agreement. "His deck's powerful but I think it's a one trick pony."

"I can hear you! And that's big talk coming from someone who almost always opens a duel with Wattcobra!" Jack shouted back before clutching his stomach in pain. "Anyway, Giggling Ghoul's effect activates, I banish a card from my graveyard to increase his level by a certain amount, since I banished a trap card it's level increases to six! And since it's a tuner monster I'm tuning it with Corrupted Angel to do a Synchro Summon."

"Chelsea's right, this duel is almost a perfect recreation of our original duel." Tyler thought as the two monsters leapt into the air for the Synchro Summon. "And if I manage to destroy the monsters, there's still a chance that he could summon Lucifer the Damned and that was painful enough without the Orichalcos."

"I Synchro Summon Fallen Angel – Francis the Wicked!" Jack announced as he played the card and the warrior with the dark/light split down the middle appeared on the field (8/2800/2000). "And now for a new face! I use Laughing Demon and Depressed Angel to build the Overlay Network."

"And here we go." Tyler sighed as the portal opened, Depressed Angel looked into the portal with a scared look on her face before she was grabbed by Laughing Demon and dragged in, as the screams echoed from the portal Tyler's eyes narrowed. "That was already disturbing but after what you did to that woman? It takes on a whole new context!"

"Oh, get bent! I XYZ Summon Fallen Angel – Jack the Twisted!" Jack announced as he played the card and a new monster appeared on the field, it was another angel but this one bore a strong resemblance to Jack on the good and evil side and was carrying an axe (Rank: 8/3000/2500). "This is one of my favorite cards and now just because he's handsome like me!"

"That's debatable, also you? An angel?" Tyler asked as he shook his head. "Not after we watched footage of you violating a woman and get stabbed by her brother, and for that matter, what did you do with her?"

"Do you really want to know?" Jack asked with a painful wince and Tyler's eyes narrowed. "Slit her throat, carved her body up, put in trash bags and sent them to three different junkyards, he'll never find the body for a funeral once he is done with you."

"And this just gets worse, the way he's talking? I can't help but shake the feeling that he's one of those serial killers who only got found out after their deaths." Tyler thought as his eyes narrowed. "How about you start attacking and stop talking about raping and murdering a woman like it's like getting a cup of coffee."

"Fine, but it's your funeral!" Jack responded before pointing to Tyler. "Jack the Twisted, attack Psychic Commander!" Jack commanded and the monster flew into battle…...

"Your deck might be filled with new cards but sometimes you can't beat the old favorites." Tyler responded as his facedown card flipped up. "Such as Negate Attack." Tyler added as the attack bounced off an invisible wall. "And thanks to it, my life-points are safe."

"Are they?" Jack asked and Tyler blinked. "I activate the effect of Jack the Twisted, by detaching an overlay unit from my monster I can conduct a second battle phase if I failed to destroy a monster during the first one, only difference? This time, he's attacking you directly and the attack can't be negated." Jack added with a sadistic grin and Tyler's eyes widened as Jack sent Depressed Angel to the graveyard whilst Jack the Twisted leapt over Psychic Commander and slashed Tyler with his sword bringing his life-points down to 5000. "Fortunately for you, Jack the Twisted is the only monster that can attack during the additional battle phase but as long as you keep negating my attacks, he'll keep by-passing your monsters."

"Meaning that unless I can get rid of it soon, my soul will belong to the Orichalcos! And he still has Lucifer the Damned waiting in the wings." Tyler thought before his eyes narrowed. "Are you finally ready to end your turn?"

"Huh, didn't even realize how long the turn had gone on for." Jack realized before grinning. "Go ahead, not like you can make a difference." Jack responded and Tyler drew his card. "Because at the end of the day, it won't matter if I attack with Jack the Twisted or Lucifer the Damned, either way, your screwed!"

*meanwhile upstairs*

As Victor watched the duel unfold from his office, he was taking the time to clean the blood from the knife he had stabbed Jack with, however as he listened to Jack brag about how he deposed of Juliana's body he had Sarah investigate it.

"Victor, they found her." Sarah's voice rang out through the earpiece and Victor grinned. "Jack isn't nearly as clever as he thought, the junkyards he visited were all in a one mile radius of each other, even then it wasn't easy to locate the bags as he had used generic trash bags to hide the body but we found the body parts, unfortunately it's looking like her funeral will be closed casket because we weren't able to save her head from the crusher."

"Very well, if that's what Jack did, then I will repay him in kind." Victor responded as he looked at an older family photo of him and Juliana accompanied by two young children. "Whilst you duel Chloe, I will send an agent down to rip Jack's soul card in two."

"So, killing him isn't enough, you want to destroy his soul as well?" Sarah asked with a surprised tone of voice. "He's a scumbag but…."

"The way he described how he deposed of Juliana's body reminded me of a serial killer documentary, have your men see if there was any other murders like this." Victor responded before hanging up and looking at the picture. "I sacrificed my niece and nephew for the greater good but Juliana? She was innocent, had no part in the scheme at all." Victor thought before glaring at Jack through the screen. "And I will see too it that her murderer pays."

*back downstairs*

"I will say this about Jack's duels, they are consistent." Tyler thought as he looked at his hand. "Too consistent, being able to do an almost exact replica of a move once is rare but with that much card advantage in one turn? I can't help but wonder if he's cheating somehow." Tyler thought before shaking his head. "Then again, cheating at Duel Monsters is the least of this monster's crimes." Tyler thought before playing a card. "I activate Spellbook inside the Pot!"

"Fine by me! That card helps me as much as it helps you." Jack responded with a grin as the two men drew their three cards and Tyler sent his Spell Card to the graveyard.

"As you control more monsters than I do, I can Special Summon Psychic General in defense mode!" Tyler announced as he played the card and a man in a general's outfit appeared on the field only with a weird device attached to his head in place of a general's cap (5/0/2000). "I tune my monsters together!" Tyler announced as Psychic Commander and Psychic General leapt into the air for the Synchro Summon. "I summon Thought Ruler Archfiend!" Tyler announced as he played the cad and the massive, ugly Psychic Synchro appeared on the field (8/2700/2300).

"Nice try! But we both know that my monsters are stronger!" Jack scoffed as he folded his arms. "Your archfiend is powerful but not powerful enough!"

"Perhaps but Psychic General comes with another effect." Tyler explained as he held up his monster and the grin on Jack's face disappeared. "Or should I say, gives a monster another effect? When Psychic General is used in the Synchro Summon of a Psychic Type Monster, that monster gains the ability to take half of an opposing monster's attack points and added it to its own, so, I think I'll take care of Jack the Twisted!"

"Wait a minute…" Jack trailed off as his eyes widened. "I'd be okay with this if I had Lucifer the Damned in my hand, but I don't, ugh, I need more time!"

"Thought Ruler Archfiend, attack Jack the Twisted now!" Tyler commanded and the archfiend unleashed its attack at Jack the Twisted destroying the monster and bringing Jack's life-points down to 6800. "And since I destroyed a monster with Thought Ruler Archfiend, I gain life-points equal to its original attack." Tyler added as his life-points were restored back to eight thousand. "I set two cards facedown and end my turn." Tyler announced and once Thought Ruler Archfiend's attack power returned to normal Jack drew his card.

"I need to turn this around quickly and destroying that Archfiend is my best bet." Jack thought as he glanced up at the Synchro Monster. "Thought Ruler Archfiend's regular effect combined with Psychic General's additional effect means he will be able to keep replenishing his life-points as long as he had it on the field no matter how powerful a monster I summon." Jack thought before looking at his drawn card and grinning. "I hope you weren't relying on that Archfiend to secure your win because I'm about to destroy it!"

"By attacking with your monster? Do I need to point out that I still have my facedown cards?" Tyler responded and Jack grinned.

"Not quite! I activate Dragged to Hell!" Jack announced as he played the card and a pit opened bellow Thought Ruler Archfiend. "Ever seen the film Drag Me To Hell?"

"Once, didn't really care for it that much." Tyler responded with a shrug as his eyes narrowed. "What are you getting at?"

"Your Archfiend's about to meet the same fate as that blonde chick from the film! In other words, since I have a Fiend Type Monster in my graveyard, this spell card will destroy your monster!" Jack added and Tyler's eyes widened as a giant demonic hand reached up from the ground and grabbed Thought Ruler Archfiend before slowly dragging him in. "And here's the best part, Spell/Trap Cards can't be activated the same turn I use Dragged To Hell's effect! Francis the Wicked, attack his life-points directly!" Jack commanded and his remaining monster charged into battle before slashing Tyler across the chest bringing his life-points down to 5200. "And just like that, the lead's mine again!"

"For now, at least, is it my turn yet?" Tyler asked and Jack nodded with a grin, however as Tyler drew his card Jack grabbed his head in pain before withering about. "What the…."

"And here I thought things couldn't get any weirder." Chloe commented as she watched the duel.

*upstairs*

"That fool!" Victor grunted as he slammed his fist down onto the desk. "I told him to take that card out of his deck, but he didn't listen."

"What has Jack done now?" Sarah's exasperated voice asked through the earpiece and Victor frowned.

"He used Dragged to Hell, that card we got from the Great Leviathan." Victor responded as he sat back down. "We might not need to destroy his soul after all because once this duel is over the Great Leviathan will do it for us."

"And that thing's not going to be happy." Sarah sighed before shaking her head. "I would say that I have some good news, but I'd be lying, I did as you asked and looked into murders similar to Juliana's."

"And?" Victor asked and Sarah sighed.

"Well, he's from Salt Lake City originally so I started there, before he moved to LA to join us a bunch of prostitutes went missing, the police never looked into it but a few years ago their decomposing remains were found in junkyards all over the city, because of how much time had passed they couldn't get a semen sample but the MO matches Juliana's murder." Sarah responded and Jack's frown deepened. "Since moving to LA similar crimes have been reported but no semen samples were found, idiot finally learned to use a condom I guess."

"So, I've been employing a serial killer/rapist this whole time, makes me glad that I did the world a favor." Victor responded with a frown and Sarah nodded. "We don't have any definitive proof, so I guess this'll be our secret."

"You don't want to give the families of his victims closure?" Sarah asked and Victor shook his head.

"When the Great Leviathan comes, it won't matter." Victor responded before turning his attention back to the duel.

*back at the duel*

Jack took several deep breaths before looking back up at Tyler only this time his eyes were glazed over.

"This fool has dabbled in magic he does not understand." The same demonic voice that took Phillip away spoke through Jack's mouth and the teens shared a look. "His soul has been destroyed, and this duel is over."

"Wait." Tyler called out to him and Jack paused as he went to surrender. "What are you exactly?"

"I am the Great Leviathan, master of the Orichalcos." Jack responded before his eyes narrowed. "You will not stop my return to this world."

"If your so confident, then let me finish this duel." Tyler responded as his eyes narrowed. "My way."

"As you wish." The Great Leviathan responded before Tyler played his drawn card.

"I activate Arkhassic Record, I draw two cards but if I have used either of them in this duel they will be discarded." Tyler announced as he played the card and drew two cards. "I have not used either of these cards, so they remain, next I activate Miracle Synchro Fusion! With this I take Thought Ruler Archfiend and Psychic Commander from my graveyard and fuse them together to form Ultimate Axon Kicker!" Tyler announced as he played the card and his best monster appeared on the field ready for battle (10/2900/1700). "Now I activate my facedown card, Psychic Dimension Barrier!"

"Activate all the cards you want mortal, it won't matter." The Great Leviathan responded through Jack's mouth as Tyler played the card.

"This will, at the cost of half of my life-points I can special summon one Psychic Type Monster that was removed from play." Tyler responded as his life-points dropped to 2600 and Thought Ruler Archfiend returned to the field. "Now to bring this to a close, I activate Psychic Dominance! As my life-points are bellow three thousand I can double the attack power of the strongest monster I have and destroy the only monster you have." Tyler added as Francis the Wicked was destroyed and Axon Kicker was destroyed.

"Much as I want to stick around for the end of this duel." Chloe thought as she glanced towards the stairs. "I need answers from that woman." Chloe thought before racing towards the stairs.

"This is a message to you Great Leviathan, you will be stopped! Ultimate Axon Kicker, Thought Ruler Archfiend, finish it!" Tyler commanded and the two psychic type monsters leapt into battle before attacking Jack bringing his life-points down to zero. "Before you go Great Leviathan." Tyler said as the seal closed in around Jack. "What happened to Phillip Alvers?"

"He made the same mistake this fool made." The Great Leviathan responded before the same fist reached up and grabbed Jack. "And he met the same fate." The Great Leviathan added before dragging Jack off, when the seal cleared there was no sign of Jack, not even a spec of blood from where he had been stabbed.

"Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy." Chelsea commented as she shook her head. "I guess we know what awaits us on the next floor, right Chloe?" Chelsea asked only to realize that her friend was gone. "Chloe?"

"Looks like she went ahead." Tyler commented as he glanced towards the stairs. "We'd better catch up with her." Tyler added before they raced off after her.

*on the next floor up*

As soon as Chloe reached the seventh floor, she saw Sarah there waiting for her, Chloe's eyes narrowed as she walked forward and almost immediately activated her duel disk.

"I have questions, and I know you have answers." Chloe said as she glared at the older woman. "Why did you go after my dad? And what was with that dear sister comment back then."

"Fair questions, I suppose." Sarah responded before her hand went to remove her hood. "Tell me Chloe, do you still have that picture I left behind when I first arrived on the island?"

"I've been carrying it with me since then." Chloe responded before reaching into her pocket and holding up the picture. "Where did this picture come from? Why do you have it? Frankly I could play twenty questions with you all day!"

"But you won't, because you want to save the world." Sarah responded before removing her hood and revealing her scarred face to Chloe who took a step back in shock. "But to do that, you will need to learn the truth about our father!"
