As soon as Andreas entered the room with the graduating students, he was almost immediately greeted by Nicola who gave him a running hug and a kiss, once the surprise wore off, he returned both gestures as his girlfriend let go off him.

"I knew you'd do it Andreas." Nicola greeted him happily once her hug was broken. "Even after Shinato was summoned, I knew you'd pull through."

"I will admit, that was one of my toughest duels to date." Andreas admitted before kissing his girlfriend. "And now that we have graduated, the world is our oyster."

"Speaking of which, there's only three graduation duels left." Latoya commented as she shifted her weight whilst Andreas and Nicola set down next to each other in front of the TV. "And I'm glad I'm not in Chelsea's shoes right now."

"Indeed, facing Tyler in any duel is a daunting task." Andreas nodded in agreement as he turned to Latoya. "But after everything she's gone through, if there's anyone who's ready for this, it's Chelsea."

"Even so, I'm not sure if Watts are a good match against Psychics." Louella chimed in as they watched the two teens get ready for the duel. "On one hand, I want to root for her because she's been one of the hardest workers at Duel Academy since Summer Break ended and because she's a fellow lesbian, on the other hand Chelsea did say that she wanted to face Tyler in her graduation duel so who knows? Maybe this choice will backfire on her."

"It won't." Beth chimed in as she turned to Louella. "I've been working with her on improving her deck all week long, Chelsea's deck has a few new surprises and I'm not just talking about the new cards she got whilst she was in Las Vegas for Battle City."

"Maybe but Tyler has been on the Pro-Leagues for two years now, I think it's safe to say that he's picked up a few new tricks himself." Ash responded as he shifted his weight. "All that's left to do is watch the duel and see what happens."

*back at the duel arena*

"Okay Chelsea, it's just a duel against Tyler Kaiba to see whether I graduate or not." Chelsea thought to herself as they drew their opening hands. "Who also happens to be on the top of the list of guys I'd want to fuck if I was straight and one of my best friends, no pressure." Chelsea thought before a sweat-drop rolled down the back of her head. "Did I just experience De Ja Vues?"

"Yes, you literally thought that when you faced him for his right to graduate two years ago." Wattchimera responded as his transparent form appeared next to Chelsea. "And I'll say the same thing I said beck then, you'll do fine Chelsea."

"Yeah, well, last time the only thing I had on the line if I lost was a bruised ego." Chelsea thought as she glanced over at Tyler. "If I lose today, it'll be another two years before I'm up for graduation again and I won't be able to choose the same opponent, I know I'm ready for this duel, but I can feel the pressure of it all piling on."

"You'll be fine, just don't let the pressure get to you." Wattchimera responded before disappearing and Chelsea turned her attention back to Tyler.

"So, are we sticking with tradition and having the graduating student's opponent go first?" Chelsea asked Tyler who looked over his hand.

"I see no reason to break tradition." Tyler responded before going over his hand. "I activate Terra-Forming!" Tyler announced before he started searching through his deck, once he found the card, he was looking for he added it to his hand and let his deck auto-shuffle. "And I now activate the Spell Card I just searched for, Brain Research Lab!" Tyler added as the scenery changed to the ominous looking lab. "From now on I am allowed an additional normal summon once per turn as long as it's a Psychic Type Monster and any time I have to pay life-points to activate the effect of a Psychic Type Monster I can forgo it." Tyler explained as he folded his arms. "Both effects require that I place a Psychic Counter on Brain Research Lab in exchange, I would say that we'll get to the third effect of Brain Research Lab later, but you were there for my duel against Amanda in the Las Vegas Battle City Semi-Finals."

"How could I forget?" Chelsea nodded in response as she glanced around the lab. "Tyler had been winning that duel up to that point, but he made the mistake of allowing the Psychic Counters to build up to the point where when Amanda destroyed Brain Research Lab with Mystical Space Typhoon, it cost him seven thousand life-points." Chelsea thought as she glanced at Tyler. "He still had life-points left over after that, but Amanda was able to turn the duel around on her next turn and win, something tells me that Tyler won't be making the same mistake in this duel."

"For my first Normal Summon I bring out Destructroton!" Tyler announced as he played the card and a large, four legged robot with a tv like head appeared on the field (4/1600/400). "And for my second normal summon, I bring out Armored Axion Kicker!" Tyler added as he played the card and a large, green and purple android appeared on the field ready for battle (6/2200/1800). "As I control another Psychic Type Monster I can normal summon Armored Axion Kicker without a tribute, he has other effects, but we'll get to that in a minute."

"And in the meantime, your lab gets its first counter." Chelsea responded with a nod as a piece of machinery powered up. "Anything else?"

"I set one card facedown and end my turn." Tyler announced as he set the card and Chelsea drew her card.

"He emptied his hand on turn one, wonder if that facedown card has anything to do with it." Chelsea thought as she looked over her hand. "I set two cards facedown and a monster in defense mode." Chelsea added as the cards appeared on the field. "That's it for me." Chelsea added and Tyler nodded before drawing her card. "I know from watching his duels that Psychics is a tricky match for my Watt Deck, just look at my Graduation Duel against him two years ago, hopefully by playing things defensively at first I can get an advantage."

"It's not like Chelsea to open things up defensively, then again it has been two years since I've seen her duel." Tyler thought as he looed over his hand. "And the other duels today are a great demonstration of how much one's deck can change over two years." Tyler thought before pointing to Chelsea's facedown monster. "Destructotron, attack her defense monster!" Tyler commanded and the robot charged into battle…...

"I activate Beckoning Light!" Chelsea responded as one of her facedown cards flipped up. "With this I can discard the three remaining cards in my hand and add that many Light Type Monsters from my deck to my hand."

"Well, I guess somethings never change." Tyler thought as Chelsea discarded the three cards from her hand and once, she had added the new cards to her hand, Destructron destroyed Wattkitten (3/100/100). "Sorry I had to put your kitten down Chelsea." Tyler added only to get booed by most of the female students. "Did the number of animal lovers among the girls' dorm balloon since I graduated?"

"They are split into three groups, animal lovers, vegetarians and vegans, there's little in between." Chelsea responded as she shook her head. "I mean, me, Chloe and Nicola fall into the first group, but we were here first."

"Well, whatever the case, Armored Axon Kicker, attack her life-points directly!" Tyler commanded and the large android charged into battle but was stopped by a small turtle (4/0/1800). "Electromagnetic Turtle?"

"One of the cards I just discarded." Chelsea nodded as she pocketed the card. "I can't use the effect again, but I kept my life-points safe for now." Chelsea thought before looking up at Tyler. "Is that everything?"

"Make your move." Tyler responded as he shook his head and Chelsea drew her card.

"If I want to turn this around, I need to destroy his monsters, problem is that his Axon Kicker is a lot stronger than most of my Watt Monsters and the moment I play one, well I'd better hope that I have a way to keep it on the field." Chelsea thought before going over her hand. "I summon Wattpheasant!" Chelsea announced as she played the card and the colorful pheasant appeared on the field (4/1000/800). "No point in dragging this out! Wattpheasant, attack his life-points directly!" Chelsea commanded and the pheasant flew over Tyler's monsters before ramming into him and bringing Tyler's life-points down to 7000. "That's first blood to me but that's not all my attack did!" Chelsea added as she motioned to Wattpheasant. "I can use his effect to remove a monster from play until the end phase and I chose Armored Axon Kicker!" Chelsea added as the massive android vanished. "Not much point since it'll come back but I had to choose something."

"Your move did more than you think." Tyler responded with a frown on his face and Chelsea blinked. "When Destructotron is the only monster on my side of the field during the end phase it destroys itself, however before it does, I activate his effect, normally this would cost me a thousand life-points but thanks to Brain Research Lab I can forgo the cost to destroy your set Spell/Trap Card!" Tyler added as another piece of machinery came to life and the robot fired a laser at the set card destroying it.

"So much for Urgent Tuning." Chelsea thought as she sent her trap card to the graveyard. "I set a card facedown and end my turn, meaning your robot goes to the scrapheap and Armored Axon Kicker returns to the field." Chelsea announced and once Destructotron self-destructed and Armored Axon Kicker returned to the field Tyler drew his card. "If I can just draw Mystical Space Typhoon, I can turn Brain Research Lab's effect against Tyler." Chelsea thought before frowning. "But I know Tyler has plenty of other nasty surprises in his deck."

"I activate Spellbook inside the Pot." Tyler announced as he held up the card and Chelsea nodded before they drew their cards. "First I summon Krebons!" Tyler announced as he played the card and the weird, weak Psychic Type Tuner appeared on the field (2/1200/400). "Now I activate Emergency Teleport to Special Summon Risebell the Star Adjuster from my deck!" Tyler announced as he played the card and the purple haired psychic monster in black appeared on the field (3/800/800). "I activate her effect, increasing Krebons' level to five until the end of the turn."

"Great, I know exactly what he's up to." Chelsea thought with a groan as Krebons' level increased to five. "After all, this was the same move he defeated me with during his graduation duel!"

"Armored Axon Kicker, destroy Wattpheasant!" Tyler commanded and the massive android fired a beam of light at the much smaller pheasant destroying it and bringing Chelsea's life-points down to 6800. "Krebons, Risebell, attack her life-points directly!" Tyler commanded and the two psychic type monsters launched their attacks at Chelsea bringing her life-points down to 4800. "Sorry to say Chelsea, but I'm about to beat you at your own game, I activate Urgent Tuning!"

"I knew I should've waited another turn to use Electromagnetic Turtle's effect!" Chelsea thought as Krebons and Risebell leapt into the air for the Synchro Summon. "Then again, I was thinking of Electromagnetic Turtle's effect before it got changed where I had to use it the same turn it got sent to the graveyard."

"I Synchro Summon Thought Ruler Archfiend!" Tyler announced as he played the card and once the bright flash faded the massive, ugly psychic type monster appeared on the field (8/2700/2300). "Sorry Chelsea, but I'm playing to win! Thought Ruler Archfiend, attack her life-points directly!" Tyler commanded and the Archfiend launched its attack at Chelsea bringing her life-points down to 2100. "How are you feeling?" Tyler asked as Chelsea got herself back on her feet with her hair overshadowing her eyes.

"Just breathe Chelsea and remember what you learned during that week in LA." Chelsea thought as she took several deep breaths before glancing up at Tyler. "If your asking that because of my infamous temper, those days are behind me." Chelsea responded as she took a deep breath before her facedown card flipped up. "Only time I really lose my temper these days is if the enemy AI in a strategy game is pulling a bullshit move! In any case I activate Damage Gate! I discard one card from my hand to Special Summon Wattcerberus from my deck!" Chelsea announced as she discarded the card and a multi-colored version of the thee headed dog from Greek Mythology appeared on the field (6/2500/1200).

"Glad to hear it." Tyler nodded before going over his hand. "I have the lead for now but with the abilities of the Watt Monsters I might not hold onto it for long." Tyler thought before glancing up at Chelsea. "I know she got the rest of the new Watt Monsters and support cards during her time in Las Vegas for Battle City, time will tell if she gets to use the rest of them." Tyler thought before glancing up at Chelsea. "It's your move."

"I see her sessions with the psychologist did her well." Sophia commented as she leaned back in her chair. "I think we both know what that move would do to her without them."

"She was reluctant at first, but it was for Chelsea's own good." Martin responded with a frown on his face. "The debate on whether Chelsea really was justified in attacking Jessica is still a hot topic of discussion but there was one thing that wasn't up for debate, if she was going to stay at Duel Academy, we couldn't risk another incident like that, me and the rest of the faculty told her as much during the meeting."

"I read the reports following that incident, several students had to be talked out of dropping out because they feared Chelsea was going to go after them next, correct?" Sophia asked and Martin nodded in response. "And what's worse is, if we knew the reasons behind her temper, maybe that could've been prevented."

"Or if she had been more open about its years before, she would've had an upbringing more akin to her siblings." Martin responded as he shook his head. "Knowing what I do now does put a lot of the incidents from Chelsea's first year into a whole new light, but she has turned things around in a major way since the Orichalcos incident."

"I started developing my anger issues because of the verbal abuse Dan put me through during the last few months of our relationship." Chelsea thought as she glanced over her hand. "If anything, my temper was the last bit of power that prick had over me! He's serving a life-sentence for his role in the Orichalcos, unless he breaks out of jail, I'll never see him again but even so, I can't let my past dictate my future from now on." Chelsea thought before playing her drawn card. "I activate Gift from Zeus! I shuffle three Light Type Monsters back into my deck and draw two cards."

"If I where her, I'd be hoping for something good." Tyler thought as Chelsea shuffled the cards into her deck and drew two cards. "Because whilst she does have a powerful monster on the field, I still have a massive lead."

"Damn it, still no sign of Mystical Space Typhoon." Chelsea thought as she looked at her drawn cards. "I didn't discard it when I used Beckoning Light earlier, right? No, if I did have it in my hand, I would've set it, I'm in Obelisk Blue now, I don't make those kind of mistakes." Chelsea thought before sending her spell card to the graveyard. "I set two cards facedown and I attack Armored Axon Kicker with Wattcerberus!" Chelsea announced as the three headed dog pounced on the android destroying it and bringing Tyler's life-points down to 6700. "Since I inflicted damage with him, Wattcerberus's effect activates, allowing me to attack again! Only this time? It's a direct attack with his attack points cut in half."

"Fortunately, she can only do that once per turn." Tyler thought as Wattcerberus's attack points dropped to 1250 and it leapt past Thought Ruler Archfiend and bit on Tyler bringing his life-points down to 5550. "But she knows Thought Ruler Archfiend's effect just as well as I do, I can easily regain most of those life-points by attacking Wattcerberus."

"Okay, as long as he doesn't draw Card Destruction, I should be okay." Chelsea thought as she looked over her hand. "It's your move." Chelsea announced and Tyler drew his card.

"Miracle Synchro Fusion, I could use this to summon Ultimate Axon Kicker, however that might not be necessary." Tyler thought before pointing at Chelsea's monster. "Thought Ruler Archfiend, attack Wattcerberus!" Tyler commanded and the archfiend prepared his attack…...

"I was hoping you'd do that! Because now I can destroy your Archfiend by using Honest!" Chelsea announced as she discarded the card and Tyler's eyes widened as Wattcerberus's attack points shot up to 5200 and it pounced on the Archfiend destroying it and bringing Tyler's life-points down to 3050. "Hope you weren't counting on Thought Ruler's effect to regain your life-points."

"How'd you guess?" Tyler asked as he looked over his hand. "I'd rather wait until I know for sure that I can destroy Wattcerberus next turn." Tyler thought as he glanced at Miracle Synchro Fusion. "It's your move."

"Okay, I might win this, I just need to draw Mystical Space Typhoon and I'll be golden." Chelsea thought as she took a deep breath before drawing her card. "GOD DAMN IT! Did I take out Mystical Space Typhoon by accident when I was getting my deck ready?!"

"No, I was there with you and I would've reminded you if you had." Wattchimera responded and Chelsea took a deep breath. "You simply haven't drawn it yet."

"And knowing my luck, I put it at the bottom of my deck when I shuffled it for Gift from Zeus." Chelsea thought as she glanced at her deck. "Then again, I don't need it to win this turn, I can attack twice with Wattcerberus for game." Chelsea thought before deciding on a move. "It's time I ended this! Wattcerberus, attack his life-points!" Chelsea commanded and the three headed dog pounced towards Tyler….

"This match is not over yet, I activate Call of the Haunted to bring back Krebons!" Tyler announced as the facedown card flipped up and Krebons returned to the field in defense mode.

"In that case, I'll go for the next best thing." Chelsea decided before pointing to Krebons. "Wattcerberus, attack his monster!" Chelsea commanded and the monster pounced towards Krebons…...

"I activate Krebons' effect, paying 800 life-points to negate your attack." Tyler added as another piece of machinery came to life and Krebons formed an invisible force-field around itself. "You knew this wasn't going to be an easy match for you Chelsea."

"It's my graduation duel, it's not supposed to be easy." Chelsea responded before glancing at her hand. "It's your move." Chelsea announced and Tyler drew his card.

"If I'm going to win this, it's now or never." Tyler thought before playing the card. "I activate Miracle Synchro Fusion! I fuse Krebons on the field with Thought Ruler Archfiend in my graveyard to summon my best monster, Ultimate Axon Kicker!" Tyler announced as he played the card and the two monsters were sucked into the fusion portal and from it emerged Tyler's best monster (10/2900/1700). "Ultimate Axon Kicker, attack her monster!" Tyler commanded and the monster prepared his attack.

"If Tyler uses Axon Kicker's effect, I'll never turn this duel around." Chelsea thought before her facedown card flipped up. "I activate Power Nullifier, since I have a Level Five or higher monster on my side of the field the effects of all monsters on the field are negated for the rest of the turn." Chelsea added as Ultimate Axon Kicker seemed to lose some of its power before destroying Wattcerberus and bringing Chelsea's life-points down to 1600.

"Smart, if I had used Ultimate Axon Kicker's effect its unlikely that you would've turned this around." Tyler responded with a nod before frowning. "But let's face facts, my monster has more than enough attack points to wipe out the remainder of yours and unless you draw a card that can turn this around for you, the duels over and so are your hopes of graduating this year." Tyler added before folding his arms. "I hate to do this to you Chelsea but it's as I said, I'm playing to win! It's your move!"

"Tyler's right, I need a miracle to turn this around." Chelsea thought as she drew her card. "I activate Lightning Recharge! I move two of my monsters in the graveyard from play and draw two cards." Chelsea announced as she pocketed the two cards and drew her cards. "Mystical Space Typhoon! Finally! And I have just what I need to…" Chelsea trailed off as she lowered her head. "Is this really about to happen? Am I about to graduate from a school?"

"Yes, it is." Wattchimera responded with a nod and Chelsea took a deep breath. "You've earned this Chelsea."

"Damn right I have!" Chelsea thought before playing the card. "Remind me again, how many counters do you have on Brain Research Lab?"

"Three." Tyler nodded as he folded his arms. "Why?"

"Your about to regret that! I activate Mystical Space Typhoon!" Chelsea announced as she played the card and Tyler's eyes widened as the storm destroyed the lab with the explosion causing his life-points to plummet to 50. "And now to end this! I summon Wattcobra!" Chelsea added as she played the card and the small multi-colored snake appeared on the field (4/1000/500). "Wattcobra shares the effect with most of the other Watt monsters, the effect that lets him attack directly." Chelsea added as she felt the tears well up. "In other words, it's over."

"Indeed." Tyler nodded with a massive grin on his face. "What are you waiting for?"

"Christmas, my birthday, lots of stuff really." Chelsea responded before pointing to Tyler. "But this? This is something I've waited a little under five years for! Wattcobra, finish it!" Chelsea commanded and the snake leapt over Tyler's monster and bit him on the arm wiping out what little remained of his life-points.

"The winner of the match is Obelisk Blue's Chelsea Cunningham!" Martin announced over the near deafening cheer from the crowd and Chelsea remained motionless as the holograms disappeared. "Meaning she joins this year's graduating class!" Martin added before Chelsea dropped to one knee and Tyler rushed over.

"You okay Chelsea?" Tyler asked as he knelt next to her and she looked up, she still had tears in her eyes but had a massive grin on her face.

"I'm fine." Chelsea responded as she wiped a tear from her eye. "It's just setting in, that after years of being expelled from schools, that I'm finally getting a chance to graduate and leave on my own terms." Chelsea added and Tyler grinned before offering her a handshake which she took, Tyler then helped her up and rose her hand in victory.

"CHELSEA!" Chelsea looked up after Tyler let go of her arm and saw that her siblings had jumped the barrier and where rushing up to congratulate her, Chelsea hopped off the duel arena and was quickly pulled into a group hug by her older siblings. "We're so proud off you sis!" Danny added and Chelsea's grin broadened

"Just do me a favor and pinch me to confirm that I'm not dreaming." Chelsea requested and Jamie complied. "Ow! I guess I'm not dreaming."

"Chelsea." Chelsea looked up and saw her parents approaching her with proud looks on their faces as her siblings backed away, her dad was the one that had spoken up and he walked up to her. "I'm so proud of you, you'll do great in the pro-league, I just know it!"

"Thanks dad." Chelsea responded with a grin before hugging her parents, she heard Chloe clearing her throat and looked up to see Chloe and Lance walking up behind her. "Don't worry, I'll get to you guys soon."

"A simple fist bump will do." Chloe responded with a grin and Chelsea grinned before fist bumping Chloe and Lance. "Just two duels left, real question is, can we continue the streak?"

"Way we're going? It'll be a piece of cake." Lance responded before glancing at Theresa and Brandon. "Or it would be if they weren't our final opponents."

"Theresa was my first opponent once I arrived on Duel Academy island, only right that she'll be my last opponent." Chloe responded before turning to her roommate. "Congrats again Chelsea, I think you have other students waiting for you."

"Don't I know it." Chelsea responded with a grin before turning to her family. "See you at the graduation ceremony." Chelsea added before walking off.

"The next duel will be another rematch as Obelisk Blue's Lance Alvers will take on Brandon Thomas for his right to graduation." Martin announced and Lance grinned before hopping onto the duel arena.

"As much as a feel good moment that was, this is where the streak ends." Brandon commented as he hopped onto the arena. "Hope your ready Lance!"

"I was born ready!" Lance responded with a grin as they activated their duel disks.
