Romanov
"Killed early hours this morning." Ruth clarified as a photograph of the dead man filled the large screen behind her. "Tariq is looking at CCTV footage with Catherine now."
"Why?" Ros frowned. "There's no evidence he was involved in the cloning project."
"Wouldn't be the first time the FSB have removed those they see as a problem on UK soil." Adam stared at the screen as Beth nodded.
"Only shooting people in the back of the head doesn't seem their style." Alec joined in. Erin ran a hand through her long hair.
"Nerve agents and plutonium are so passé these days." She countered. Alec smirked.
"So." Ros turned to them. "One dead politician and two dead clones. One of which we don't have a name for."
"I'm working on finding our Juliet Clone. Her image is going through the data bases now." Ruth paused. "Why now? Harry, your asset."
"Maria is dead."
"Yes." Ruth knew he had cultivated most of his assets since the days when Henry Parks had his job. Maria wasn't another Elena but her death still hurt. Ruth tried not to dwell much on Harry's previous relationships. The phone on the desk spring to life as he snapped it up.
"Yes? Calm down." Harry paused. "Stan! Stan! I'm on my way. Keep him there." He closed his eyes for a moment before ending the call. Ros raised an eyebrow. "It seems we have a visitor. Henry Parks is currently causing mayhem in the reception with a mobility scooter."
Ros and Zaf smirked. They both adored the retired Spook who, even in his mid 80s couldn't quite slip into the obscurity most other retired officers managed to find.
"Henry?" Alec groaned. "Great, another relic."
"Henry Parks is a legend." Will smiled as Beth nodded.
"Beth would you and Dimitri retrieve him before Stan has a nervous break down?" Harry asked as Beth and Dimitri stood before making their way to the pods.

"This is discrimination." Henry stated firmly as he watched Stan become ever more exasperated. "It is ageist and ablest!"
"Henry." Dimitri smiled, genuinely happy to see the older man. "You are going to give Stan a Stroke at this rate."
"Elizabeth! Dimitri!" He waved his arms in the air. "Hiya! You are looking well."
"Henry." Beth smiled. "I don't think that's going to fit through the lift."
"Stan won't even let me try!"
"Why are you here? Last we knew you were in a retirement home in Newcastle." Dimitri ushered him and his scooter towards the lift. Henry nodded.
"South Shields." Henry shook his head.
"Again, why are you here?"
"To see some old friends." Henry smiled. He still reminded her of a delinquent Santa.
"At three am? Hardly." Dimitri raised an eyebrow. "When you live in a different city."
"Sense of adventure boy! That's what you young people are lacking. On we go." He headed towards the lift as Beth apologised to Stan. "Truth be told, I need to speak to Harry." He stared at the young couple before turning away to press the button for the fifth floor.

Harry sat in his office, thinking about the events of almost thirty years ago. He knew the rest of the team would soon know what had gone on when he had Juliet had been picked up by rogue KGB agents. He dreaded to think what Catherine and Ruth would think when they read them. He sighed heavily as he watched Henry chat to Ruth before heading towards him. Harry stood before walking towards the office door.
"Harry, my boy."
"What do you want?" Harry watched as his old mentor laughed.
"My word, you've gone and got yourself in a pickle."
"Henry."
"I'm still in the loop, boy. You know that. I have my sources. A Russian diplomat is dead. Killed on UK soil. Under your nose."
"And?"
"And the Russians aren't going to let it go."
"Police investigate murders." Harry paused as Henry nodded.
"Unless there are interests of national security at hand." Henry stated firmly. "Harry, you aren't the only one who is still in the loop. Romanov was executed for a reason. Same reason they think they dealt with you and Juliet. The same way they'll be happy to deal with me."
"Who?" Ros snapped as she reached them. Henry glared at the Section Chief watched him.
"Vladimir and his croanies." He stared firmly, knowing that Harry would know exactly how dangerous that statement could really be.
