Ros stared straight ahead. Every cell radiated anger and contempt. The man holding the gun to her head had underestimated her, that much she was certain of. A slight smile crept on her face but failed to reach her eyes.
"You could be more original. This isn't the first time a gun has been put to my head. Not the first time he's been present when it happened either." Her voice was devoid of emotion. It chilled Lucas to the bone, knowing that the last time he had heard her talk like that they had been in the basement where Jo had died. He knew she had given up, accepted that the bullet would pierce her flesh and blow her brain out of her skull.
"Your argument isn't with her." Lucas kept his voice low. "We know you aren't Darshan."
"Does it matter? My name is not the issue." The heavily accented man grabbed Ros by her upper arm. "A face, a name. What does it matter if it belonged to another man before you. Lucas, you know this."
Ros held her husband's gaze.
"Exactly, this is nothing to do with her." Ros pulled a face before tugging her arm away. 'Darshan' tried to grab her arm again. Ros spun round to face him, pulling her own gun on him.
"Well, now it is." She snapped. "Don't look at me like that. If you were going to kill me you would have done." She took his gun from him calmly as Lucas helped her bundle him into the car.
"You are to listen to me."
"Oh we will. I can guarantee it." Lucas was angry as he pushed the man he thought he knew into the car. Ros smirked.
"Yeah, we'll be all ears."

Beth pushed her blonde hair behind her ears as she watched Dimitri get ready for bed. Part of her truly believed that should a new Redflash come through she would cheerfully shoot the phone.
"You think Henry is losing his marbles?" She asked bluntly as Dimitri pulled his t shirt off.
"He's an old man."
"I thought he was going to give Stan a heart attack." Beth smiled as her boyfriend pulled the duvet back. "Or Harry."
"Once a Spook, always a Spook I guess." Dimitri yawned as Beth laid down. The light from the street light outside their flat the only source of illumination. "Harry trusts him. He knows his stuff."
"Yeah." Beth turned on her side to look at him. "Dim?"
"Yeah?"
"Why do you think the clones were killed?"
"In Revenge of the Clones or this?"
"I am not discussing Star Wars movies with you." She smiled.
"And I am not discussing work with you. Not in bed." He smiled as she felt his arm cover her, his hand on her waist above the Rolling Stones t shirt she was wearing.
"We aren't getting anywhere. Juliet and Harry were supposedly killed. Harry's asset had his wallet on him. How weird is that? Then there is the Russian politician and Harry's asset was murdered." She carried on as he began drawing imaginary circles on her waist.
"Beth."
"And then Henry."
"Beth."
"What?"
"Do you have a crush on Harry Pearce?" He teased as her eyes grew wide.
"I certainly do not."
"Then please can you stop talking about our boss when we are in bed?" He watched as she raised her hand to cover his face.
"And what would you rather talk about?"
"Er." He kissed her lightly before pulling back. "I think actions speak louder than words." He kissed her again as his hands slipped under her nightshirt. Beth lost her train of thought, praying that there would be no more calls to return to the Grid before the morning.

Adam walked back on to the Grid with Alec, aware that only Harry and Ruth had been briefed about Ros detaining the apparently cloned Darshan. He looked over at Ros who was in conversation with Ruth. He could see both women were angry and deeply upset by something.
"You did what?" Adam interrupted as he heard part of the conversation.
"Oh please, don't start going all Alpha Male on us. I had a gun pointed to my head." Ros looked at her friend. "Sort of an occupational hazard."
"You ok?" Alec asked as Ros nodded once.
"Its not me I'm worried about. Ruth, is there a way we can find out who this joker is? He's clearly not Russian trained. He didn't know how to hold the gun properly." Ros stated as she remembered the feel of the metal against her temple. Her eyes flicked towards where Harry and Lucas were talking quietly. Neither man looked happy.
"I can run the basic facial features and other biological data through the FRP. See if someone matches. We know Darshan died in 2009. We know this man was not trained by the FSB." Ruth ran a hand through her hair, the tiredness was beginning to hit her as she tried and failed to stifle a yawn. "His weapon certainly isn't standard issue FSB."
"Its Israeli. Mossad still use Jerichos." Adam frowned. "Why would someone pretending to be a dead Russian torturer contact Lucas, before trying to kill you with a weapon that he had to know isn't issued by Russia. Do you think Mossad are in on this?"
Harry approached them. "It is possible. I have a meeting with the Israeli Mossad liaison at 9 am. Alec, I want you and Ros interviewing this man. I want an ID on him and his employers, preferably before I have to speak to David Soloman this morning." He turned before marching back into the inner office. Lucas ran a hand over his face, knowing that somewhere along the line he had misjudged the situation. He just hoped he hadn't risked his position and his marriage in the process. Ros nodded as Adam and Ruth returned to their desks. It was clear that they had to get some answers - quickly.
