Chapter 8

They just stood in silence.

"Barry, can I ask you something?" Luis said.

"Yes." He answered.

"What did I do?"

"Well you didn't do anything." He replied. Barry knew where this was going.

"So why am I in here?" He questioned.

Barry didn't want to do this but after talking with Joe and Iris, they agreed they should learned more about him.

So Barry had a plan, find his earth 1 doppelgänger.

Then Barry phone rang, it was Singh.

"Hello." He answered.

"Allen," David said. I need you, there a possible suicide investigation. Where the hell are you?"

"I'll be right there." he replied.

Luis hears this. "Wait! Don't leave me in here!,"He exclaimed.

"There no reason why I should be in here. You can supervise me the whole time." Barry thought about it, but-

"Do you know what a time remment is?"

"A time what? I do not know what that is, but I did time travel once." Luis said.

He could be lying but, then should've been another speedster.

One more question.

"Can you guess what it is?"

Luis gave a blank stare. Barry didn't want to do it, but he also want to keep an eye on him.

"Ok," he said. "Let's go."

The cell open and Luis walk out. "Where we going?" Luis asked.

"I'm a forensic scientist, the captain need me to find and collect evidence." He answered.

"Oh, god I'm gonna see a dead body?" He said disgusted.

Joe was waiting. He not surprised Barry isn't here yet, suddenly a flash of blue and orange light appeared in front of him. "Sorry I'm late, I brought him with me."

Joe looked at Barry questionably.

"So you brought him somewhere he not allowed?" He questioned.

Then captain walk up. "Allen," He said. "Finally you showed up, I need you to look over the body and-" He noticed Luis. "Who's this kid?" He asked.

Barry had to think of a lie, then Luis spoked. "I'm Barry's cousin!"

They all looked at him. "His dad is my uncle!" David looked unbelievable.

"I was adopted..." That sold it, David shook hands and began talking to Barry.

Joe looked at Luis surprised. "Barry's parents were only childs." He told him.

"It not like he's gonna check it out! Is he?" He worries. "Hopefully not. Next time, be sure to think it all the way." Joe said. He walked away to speak to witnesses.

Meanwhile, at S.T.A.R Labs, Cisco was working on Barry's suit. Then Caitlin walked in.

"Cisco, I was thinking" She said. He looked up.

"it could be possible to find Luis's earth 1 doppelgänger." Cisco looked lost.

"How should we find him?" He wondered. Caitlin gave him a bag. Cisco looked in, it was Luis's suit. "I was hoping you could vibe him." She asked. Cisco seem concerned.

"Why?" He asked. "Well remember with Jay's helmet, we were able to find out he was Zoom." She reminds him."but this will only vibe him, not his counterpart." Cisco stated.

"Please at least try it." she pleaded. Cisco sighed and grabbed his glasses, he slowly reached for the blue vest. He touched it, then he gasped.

Cisco sees different events in time, he try to find Luis.

It was night time.

He see Luis riding his bike in the rain. He looked angry.

He was talking on a Bluetooth. "Yeah he forgot to pick me up."

He said. "Typical. I'll be home soon mom, love you bye!"

Soon, he was over a bridge.

Cisco realize where he was, this were Luis got his powers.

Right on cue, the sky lit orange. Luis looked up.

"What the hell is that?!" Luis exclaimed.

Then a orange beacon came down and causing a sonic boom,

knocking Luis off the bridge. Luis screamed on the way down.

People were running away and leaving their cars.

Cisco looked down at Luis, he saw him flapping his arms.

"Help! Somebody help me!" He yelled. Then another boom happened,

Knocking a car off the bridge, it was gonna landed on him.

Nooo! Luis yelled. Then the impact was heard.

Cisco snapped out of it. Caitlin took off his glasses.

"Are you okay? what happened?" She said with concerned.

"Nothing! Nothing. I just need air for a second." Cisco walked out the room.

If only Caitlin knew.
