Chapter 9

Luis just sat on the hood of the police car, waiting for Barry.

Then he heard the police radio.

"All units, we have a 10-80 in progress, please respond." Dispatch said.

"Another robbery?!" he thought. He knew he was supposed to stay with Barry.

"Update, suspect has a hostage. Escaping in a Tan 2007 Ford Explorer."

Someone was in danger. He went over to Joe, tapping on his shoulder. "Tell Barry he's gonna owes me later." He said. Before Joe could turn around, he was gone.

Then, Cisco called Barry. He picks up his phone. "Hey Cisco. What's-"

Car chase. He has a hostage and-" Cisco stopped.

"Cisco? Cisco, you're still there?" Barry said. "Luis is already there." He said.

No he's not, he's sitting over here-" Barry looks over where Luis was sitting and he was gone. "Cisco, where is that chase at?" Barry questioned.

"Northwest highway 52."He said. And just like Luis, he was gone too.

Luis was on the highway after picking up his suit. He sees the police cars up ahead. He speed past them and jumps in the stolen car.

The man looks over at him. "Hello! I'm velocity, friends with flash. Who are you?" He greeted. The man pull out his gun, just before he shoots, it disappeared. "You know, you realize I'm a speedster? Faster than a bullet."

He chuckled. He pointed the gun at the man. "Pull over sir, they got a warm cell ready for you at jail."

Suddenly, Luis hears crying, he looks in the backseat. It was a baby.

"Oh hell no. You just messed up sir." He said. Just then a white light appeared. Luis just grabbed him before he reached out the door.

They pulled over, Luis pulled him out the car and handed him over to the police.

"He's all yours."

"Thanks, now we got a cell with your name on it." The officer said to the criminal. "Your welcome! and remember, crime doesn't p-" a flash of orange lightning grabbed Luis, he was in a alley and Barry was standing in front of him.

"Heeeyyyy." He weakly smiled. Barry was mad. "Didn't I tell you to stay where I can see you." he grunts. Oh geez I guess I shoulda wait for you to get done, WHILE A BABY WAS GETTING KIDNAP!" He sarcastically yelled. "Listen can we head back to the lab I...feel...lightheaded...Barry help." He passed out on the ground. Barry was shaking Luis. Then a flash of light happened and Luis was gone, in his place was a 2 year old. "What?!" Barry shocked. The kid looked up. "Luis?" He stutters.

Luis was in the medbay Caitlin was looking over him. He kept laughing.

"Amazing! We found a meta who could be the fountain of youth." Caitlin exclaimed.

Luis started to climb off the bed. "Where are you going?" Cisco chuckled.

Luis just stared. "Is-is he's good?" He asked. Caitlin put Luis back on the bed.

"Luis, do you know where you are right now?" Barry asked. Luis was playing with his shirt. "Does he know he got turned into a little kid?"he asked.

"Probably not, at this age the mind still developing." She said.

Cisco kept looking at Luis's suit.

"I'm more surprised the suit shrank with him!"

Harry comes in the room. "Good News." He said. That blood sample you gave me, it done here's the results." They all looked at the screen.

It was Luis protein and blood cells. "They moving like crazy." Cisco said.

"Exactly," Harry pointed out. "now here's his cells from before."

The cells weren't moving. "So what does mean?" Barry wondered.

"They're hungry.,"Harry said.

"His cells are moving around looking for energy and vitamins."

"Basically, things that keep the body moving"Caitlin said.

"So all he's need is one of Barry energy bars. Cause right now he's like a sponge! Cisco realized. "Exactly, in order for him to get back to normal age,

he needs the amount of vitamins and nutrients of 17 year old speedster." He told.

Cisco and Caitlin went to go with Harry to find the exactly amount.

Barry and Luis just sat in the cortex. "Coulda waited till I got there." Barry joked.

Luis was mashing buttons on the computer.

"But then again I was the same way,Running into danger without thinking"

He looks over. "What are doing?" Suddenly he's hears ding and on the Tv on the wall.

Hillo Berry

Barry backs up a bit. "You're still there?" He asked. Yis. He said.

"So do you know what happened?" Barry wondered.

Luis stared. Yis. Then, Cisco and Harry came back with the cure.

It was cookie. "Here, eat it." Harry told him. Luis looked at it, then he ate it.

Nothing happened. Then Luis started coughing and a familiar white flash of light. Luis was back to normal. *Cough* "that was terrible. It felt like my brain was high. Luis said.

"Good, now we're even." Barry laughed
