Chapter 14
It was the next day, Cisco, Harry and Barry standing in the breach room.
Getting ready to go to Earth 3. Barry hasn't seen Jay since he went back.
It might be hard for Barry to look at him, since he looks just like his father.
Luis: remind how come I have to go. I got fried last time I went through!
Harry: that's true. However, you were trying to get home. We're going to somewhere different.
Cisco: what are you doing in the hallway?
Luis: this suit you made is hard to put on!
Cisco: don't diss the suit man!
Luis comes in, the suit is just like Barry's but black and none of the signature bolts symbols. It's a work in progress.
Barry: what is exactly the plan? We don't know where Jay is.
Harry: we have the city's name: coast city.
Cisco: I'm about to open the breach.
Cisco puts on his glasses and raises his arm. A portal slowly starts to form.
Luis was amazed and scared.
Cisco: okay. Luis go first.
Luis stood in front of the portal. Nervous of what might happened to him.
He closed his eyes and runs through. He still running, he opens his eyes.
The multiverse. One of these was his home. He see other earths, like if he was there. He sees a blonde girl flying. A man bat in the the dark. A spider man wearing a dark black suit. Then he sees a girl wearing black and white with hood swinging. Home.
Barry: Luis!
He sees Barry who running to one of the earths. As he got close, he trips on solid ground. They've arrived.
Barry: woah.
Cisco: this earth seems more colorful.
Harry: we're here in coast city earth 3.
Luis: how do you know?
Harry points at a billboard:
Coast City
Home of the Flash
Luis: how did I not see that?
Harry: Me and Cisco are going to walk around and looking, you and Luis can get more ground than us. So hopefully it shouldn't take long.
Barry and Luis start running around the city. Cisco and Harry starts asking around if they see the Flash. Barry and Luis were enjoying the city and quickly got something to eat.
2 hours later...
No sign of Jay yet. No one seen him for 2 days.
Cisco: maybe he's not here.
Harry: where could he be then?
Luis: maybe he's taking a break. I mean you said he just like Barry's dad but with superspeed.
Cisco: so Barry where would your dad be on a day like this?
Barry: when I was younger he would take me to the beach, he would sit in the shade and read the we have fun in the water.
Luis: to the beach!
They grab Cisco and Harry and bring them to the beach. It was a huge crowd.
A couple of people see them.
Person: Hey Flash, going old school? haven't seen that since I was a kid.
Barry: whhhaattt?
Cisco looks sarcastically hurt. Luis was holding a laugh.
Harry: uh, remember?
Luis: ok ok!
Luis runs all over the beach then he see an orange streak.
Luis: Barry we're supposed to spli-
He couldn't finish the sentence, he got punched across the street.
Luis see a man wearing a sliver helmet with a bright red jacket and blue pants and brown boots. It's Jay Garrick! He runs towards Luis and punches him. Knocking him back.
Jay: did you really think I wasn't ready?! I won't let you trap me again!
He vibrates his hand. Luis raises his hands.
Luis: waitwaitwait!
Barry zooms up and stops Jay.
Barry: Flash, stop! This isn't zoom, this is a different speedster look at him!
Jay sees Luis cowering in fear. Jay's anger faltered he helps the young speedster.
Jay: I am so sorry there fella. I kinda let past things get to me, especially with that suit your wearing. Anyway, mind telling what you boys doing here?
Barry: we're trying to get this kid home but he can't.

They arrived back on earth 1. Barry explains to Jay about everything.
How Luis got here, how he can't go home and how he got his powers.
Luis is running on the treadmill to show Jay. He looks over Luis.
Jay: I got nothing, you're healthy and you're fast enough to make a breach.
Luis: then how I can't go home?
Jay's face turns to cringe. He has an idea, but he's not going to like it.
They're in the pipeline.
Luis: no way! Ain't gonna do it!
Jay: it the only way to see why you can't!
Luis sighs in defeat he runs around, the portal forms he jumps through.
Only to fall back on the ground after getting fried.
Luis: OWOW...OW? It doesn't hurt?
Cisco: I put a special fabric in your and Barry's suit. To absorb some of the conductive electricity.
Luis looks up Jay. Hoping he found the problem. He runs towards Jay.
Jay: that has never happened to me before, unless...
Luis: unless?
Jay: what do you hear when you open the breach?
Luis: it's sounds like tiny little fireworks going off then I hear a whoosh.
Jay: that is not normal. You shouldn't hear that. You don't hear that when you breach.
Jay felt guilt for what he's about to say next. He was gonna break the speedster hope of going home. He puts his hand on Luis's shoulder.
Jay: someone did something to you. They did something to your speed were it rendering you to not go back. In other words, they manage to trick you into running fast enough to activate it. You can go anywhere in the multiverse but not home, it won't let you go back...ever.
Everyone is silenced. Luis just stared at Jay with a smile. Acting like he didn't hear the words he said.
Luis: and how do you know this is true? How did you know this is even true?
Hm? How?
Jay: I had a son named Henry who had powers like me. I was training him to use his powers, he was getting cocky. He was always showing off. Then his pride got the best of him. There was this villain named Pollux, he was a clone of me. Unstable genetically, we fought and he did something to Henry. Pollux was running to escape and Henry chasing him. A breach opens... that's the last time I ever saw my son... after what Barry told me how you got here...
Luis: you think he can't cause he stuck somewhere and so am I.
Jay: yes...
Luis eyes start to water. He runs outside to the top of star labs, he yells really loud, he takes off the suit and throws it off the building. He just sits there...
Back in the pipeline. Jay sat in distress.
Barry: are you sure that's true?
Jay: it just fits, my son and Luis fight speedsters and both hear flickering just before they get sent somewhere else. Seeing him trying to get home mean my son been trying to get home ever since but he can't. I'll be damn if that is not coincidental.
They didn't know what to do. Luis can't go back he's stuck here. Harry and Cisco are still finding a way to get him home no matter what. Jay went back to earth 3. Luis sits there and thinks his nightmare will come true.
He thinks about his parents and siblings who might never him. Will his friends know if he went to another earth. Luis sat there with tears running down his face.
From far away a blur figure with red eyes was watching him. He looks with anger.
?: Gideon, is that him?
Gideon: yes Mr. Thawne.
Eobard: will he any affected on the timeline?
Gideon:...No.
Eobard: good...
Oh shit! It Reverse-Flash! What he gonna do? By the way, I just made up part of Jay backstory because i mean come on he was the 90s Flash! I mean you read all the references I made about him!
But the whole Henry thing I made up because back in season 3 it sounded like he had a wife and kid so I figured this would kinda fit!
Especially with Pollux. The next chapter will be out friday.
