Chapter 5
Fitz POV
I wake to see Biana sitting on Sophie's bed. I hadn't realized that I fell asleep on her bed. Biana shifts to look at me, concern fills her perfect features.
"She's back," Biana said.
"Wait - what?" I said, sitting up to shake my sister's shoulders.
"Fitz, she came back in the middle of the night. She is … um … you have to see for yourself." Biana said standing to leave but turned at the door, "You should probably take a shower too." She smiled as she left. I ran outside and held my home crystal to the light of morning.
I jumped in and out of the shower, changing into a teal shirt and black jeans. I pulled on my black leather boots as I raced out to the Leap Master 500. Where would she be? Then I see a piece of white paper:
To the place where you shared a kiss,
And thought it was pure bliss.
The Black Swan? We have not heard from them in years. The place I shared a kiss… the Mallowmelt Cafe!
"The Mallowmelt Cafe!" I yelled.
As soon as I set foot on Atlantis, I can feel Sophie's presents. I see a figure with blonde hair, but she is wearing all black.
Would Sophie wear all black?
"Sophie!" I yell.
The girl turns to me.
It is Sophie, but there is something different about her. The way she held her shoulders, more superior than before. I race towards her, only to find my back pressed against the ground.
She sat on me.
"Sophie, what's going on?" I asked gasping for breath. She glared at me.
"I know what you did," Sophie said, then her fist connected with my face and the world went black.
