In this chapter little Angel has one of her first lessons with the Force and with a lightsaber. This takes place before 'Attack' but not by much.

She watched her father as he knelt on the floor as quiet and still as the decorations in the apartment.
She was supposed to be meditating like he was but she didn't want to sit still and be quiet; she had to be quiet while Daddy was speaking to the Emperor, Governors and Moffs.
Sighing, she used the Force to bring Paka to her and made the doll squeak.
Casting her gaze around the room she looked for something to help pass the time.
Within a few seconds she spied a datapad on a caf table.
Standing, she started to quietly make her way to it when she was gently lifted into the air by invisible hands.
"You need to learn how to meditate little one if you want to be like me." Her father's voice commented drily.
"I'm bored Daddy." She declared as she was set back on the floor.
"If you meditate for five minutes I will teach you how to use a lightsaber." He told her.
"Really?" she asked excitedly.
"But, only if you meditate for a bit my little angel." He reaffirmed.
With a dramatic sigh, she knelt and allowed her father to guide her in meditation. She could Feel a well of power deep within her and knew from conversations that this was part of her strength in the Force.
Slowly she became aware of voices speaking but she didn't understand the language yet she found that part of her did.
She was aware of Garathimark and Malakah in the next room; waiting for them to finish meditating.
She could Feel how proud her father was of her accomplishment and she Felt it all fade away.
"I did it Daddy!" she cried excitedly, jumping up.
"I know you did." He said warmly, still kneeling on the floor with his eyes closed.
"Now learn about lightsabers?" She asked.
"Well you did do some meditating so I guess that a brief lesson about lightsabers is called for." He told her as he stood.
"Yay!" she cried, spinning in a small circle.
She walked right at her father's side as they entered another room in their home and stopped when he signaled her to wait for him.
She watched with building anticipation as her father picked up a training remote, some sort of helmet and what she hoped was a small lightsaber before returning to her.
She listened with rapt attention as he told her about the history of lightsabers and how they were used in combat.
He showed her his cybernetic limb replacements and reminded her that a lightsaber could cut through flesh and bone just as easily as it could cut through durasteel.
She felt something burn within her as she saw where metal fused with flesh and the burn scars on what remained of her father's arms, legs and then his chest and face. She vowed again if she even met the Jedi responsible she would make him pay.
She would bite and kick him like Bun-bun sometimes did to Torg and others on Wylla and Friends; but unlike Bun-bun she wouldn't get in trouble for it because Jedi were evil.
Quickly she pushed the thoughts away when her father showed her what she hoped was a small lightsaber.
"This is a training saber so it can't cut or burn anything but it will sting a bit if you are hit with one." He explained to her.
"Like the training remote?" she asked excitedly.
Her father smiled for her again. "Yes, like a training remote."
He then held it out to her and allowed her to take it and gently corrected her grip.
"For now you will practice with the remote blocking blaster bolts from the remote. Let the Force flow through you and let It whisper to you where to expect the attacks." He told her as he set the helmet on her head.
She squawked in distress when her view of the remote disappeared.
"I can't see Daddy!" she cried.
"I know," he told her simply.
"Can I take it off?" she asked.
"No you may not; this is part of your lightsaber training. You must learn how to recognize the Force and how to listen to It and Command It." He informed her.
Biting her lower lip, she activated the training saber and waited.
Twice she was shot by the training remote and squeaked in discomfort at the sting from the bolts.
"Stretch out with your feelings, remember what you Feel when you call Paka to you." He encouraged her to her left.
She could See him out of range of both the remote and lightsaber but watching her intently.
She took a deep breath and pushed everything away and focused on just the remote. Suddenly, she twisted the training saber to her right, up and then down successfully blocking three bolts.
Forgetting what she was doing for a moment, she cried out in excitement only to shriek in pain and annoyance when the training remote hit her in her left arm.
"You will learn," her father told her as he gently lifted the helmet off her head.
She just scowled slightly as she rubbed her left arm.
"As time passes you will improve and get better." He told her reassuringly as he fixed her Gungan Ears. "Maybe, one day you will fill in as one of the Empire's Elite." He told her as he collected the helmet, training remote and lightsaber.
"Really?" she asked, hopefully; bouncing on her heels.
"Yes, you will." He told her as he hugged her.
