"Sky!" Cat and Kayla shout happily as they ran to their friend and embraced her. Upon getting closer to Nia and Skyler they realized something was not right. Skyler was struggling against Nia's hold. They backed up and took a look at her. Her expression was blank and she kept trying to get away from them.

"What's wrong with her?" April asked as the rest of their group ran over to where they were.

"I don't know! 15 minutes after you guys left she just woke up and has been trying to get away ever since! I can't get through to her"

"Stop crowding her! Give her some space!" Raph growled pushing everyone away. As soon as Raph spoke Skyler's struggling ceased and her eyes dimmed further and something flickered in them with slight recognition but it quickly disappeared. Nia slowly let her go once she was sure she wouldn't try to leave again.

Skyler's movements were slow but sure enough she began to walk towards Raphael. Everyone watched silently.

"S-Sky?" Raph said nervously taking a step back. Her fingers lightly grazed the edge of his plastron. Her finger tips curled and tightened on the top of his plastron pulling him closer to her. Her eyes closed and she buried her face in the crook of his neck. Raph blushed and swallowed hard slowly wrapping his arms around her.

"It's the bond" Cat finally stated taking a closer look at their links. "It was straining…he was too far away from her…she was trying to get closer to him" Cat said softly.

"Well at least she's up" Mikey smiled.

Cat shook her head "Her body is up, but not her mind and soul"

"So like what? Her body is on auto-pilot" Casey asked.

"That's one way of putting it" Cat nodded.

"How do we snap her out of it?" Leo asked.

"We can't...she has to do it on her own, kind of like when a person comes out of a coma"

"What can we do then?" Raph asked as Skyler pressed herself closer to him.

"Just help her out, though that's going to be a little tough" Cat said eyeing Skyler as she clung to Raphael for dear life. Though he didn't seem to mind much.

True to Cat's words Skyler had refused to let go of Raphael. The most they were able to get her away from him was when she needed to take a bath or use the restroom. Which she usually lead him to the bathroom door and paused outside it. He would then nod and call one of the girls who would help her, once done she was latching tightly to him. Getting her to eat was also another problem she was refusing to eat and even with Raph's help they were still having trouble.

"Come on Sky" Raph eyes soften "…You have to eat" he held up a spoon up her mouth.

She tilted her head and stared at the spoon blankly before closing her eyes and burying her face in the crook of his neck. He sighed and set the spoon down on the plate. At least he had gotten her to eat five spoonful today. He lifted her up in his arms and walked into the living room where Mikey and Kayla had been playing video games.

"Did she eat?" Kayla paused the game and looked at him.

"…Barely" Raph muttered taking a seat on the couch with Skyler curling up against him.

"Wanna play?" Kayla offered him the controller. He shook his head looking down at Skyler. There had to be a way to bring back her mind and soul.

"Hey Donnie wanna help me spruce up the hotrod?" Casey called out from underneath the car.

"No…I'm…I'm actually going to take a walk" Donnie said standing up from his desk and walked out the barn.

"Donatello!" his head snapped up at his name being called. He watched as Catharine jogged over towards him.

"C-Catharine" he stuttered out and he looked around.

"You don't have to worry about Nia and Kayla anymore I told them to back off and leave you alone" Cat giggled her eyes lighting up with humor at his panic stat.

Donatello relaxed and sighed "Catharine I―" he began only for her to cut him off.

"Take a walk with me?" she offered him her hand "…Please" she pleaded when he saw him hesitate. Donatello swallowed thickly and nodded slowly, shakily grasping her hand and letting her lead him away.

They walked around the edge of the forest slowly.

"Can I ask you something?" she asked softly.

"S-sure"

She stopped walking and turned to face him. He blinked and blushed as she took a step closer to him.

"You feel it don't you?" she whispered looking up at him. He easily became captivated by her amber eyes.

"F-feel what?" he gulped his heart rate increasing as she leaned up closer to him.

"The bond between us" her breathe ghosting over his lips and before he knew it he had closed the distance between them. His free hand entangling into her soft blonde short hair deepening the kiss. She released his hand and wrapped her arms around his neck. His hands wrapped around her waist and he pulled her closer to him.

He churred deeply as her hands softly caressed the back of his head. She felt good. Too good. She felt perfect in his arms. This was nothing like April. He had felt nothing when April kissed him and now he knew why. His eyes widen in surprise when he felt her tongue lightly lick across his bottom lip. Hesitantly he granted her access groaning when his tongue met hers. Their kiss growing more fervent. Until they both pulled away huffing and out of breathe lips slightly swollen. He buried his face in the crook of her neck.

"Catharine" he muttered along her skin. He felt her shiver and press her body closer to him.

"Hey Donnie!" Both their heads snapped up at him being called. Catharine's face turned sour when she saw April running up to them with a smile plastered on her face. "Leo tried to make popcorn again and let's just say Leo won against the microwave" April said sheepily. Donatello sighed and actually looked somewhat annoyed.

"I'll got fix it" he rolled his eyes and walked back to the house.

Catharine glared at April and stomped off towards the barn. She sat down and leaned her back against the barn smiling softly to herself. Her bond felt much better. It was even actually even easier to breathe.

"What are doing?" April sat down next to Cat.

"What do you care?" Cat scowled scooting away from her.

"Look I had enough, what's your problem with me anyway!" April narrowed her eyes at Cat. Cat turned to glare back.

"You want to know what my problem is? My problem is you!"

"Me? What did I ever do to you!" April said standing up angrily.

"What haven't you done!" Cat snarled finally having enough of April innocent act.

"What's that suppose to mean?" she placed her hands on her hips.

"Donatello is mine!" Catharine cried.

"You can't claim him like he's an object!" April sputtered out.

"I'm not! I'm claiming him as my mate! My other half! There is a difference! And you're taking him from me! If anyone is claiming him as an object it is you April O'Neil!" Cat spat.

"Donnie is my friend! I would never do that―"

"There you go again! Make up your mind! Stop leading him on!" Cat cut her off.

"I have no idea what you're talking about"

"Stop playing stupid April, I know you get jealous when I spend time with him! I find it a bit weird that when he pays attention to me you always seem to need his help! And when he starts paying attention to you, you ignore him like he doesn't even matter"

"I don't do―"

"Yes you do!...Oh god! You actually made yourself believe that you're not doing anything wrong?" Catharine shook her head and gave a hollow laugh.

"I'm not doing anything wrong!" April said stubbornly.

"You've know he's always been mine! Nia and Kayla told me everything about you guys meeting our older selves and you still went after him!" Cat shouted at her.

"Cat I'm―"

"No! Just leave me alone!" Cat spat running towards the house. Minutes later Donatello came out again looking confused.

"April there was nothing wrong with the microwave" Donnie stated.

"Oh…must have been unplugged or something" she smiled weakly.

"Where's Catharine?" he asked when he didn't see her outside anymore.

"She went back inside" she explained. He nodded and was about to head back. "Donnie wait! Can you help me cut some more firewood?"

He looked between her and back at the house before sighing in defeat "…sure"

April's eyes widen in realization at what she was doing. Cat was right and now she felt like the biggest jerk in the world.
