They had been watching the 'Crognard the barbarian' when it was cut off by the news cast.

"Was it just me or did the news guy seem a bit…off?" Mikey looked around the room as Leo switched off the tv.

"The Kraang may have the rest of the world fooled, but not us. What's the plan Leo?" April stated.

"Step one is, storm the castle walls, Donnie?"

"It's not as heavily armored as the Shellraiser, but it's more maneuverable, has more weapons, and gets better gas mileage." Donnie said as he laid down some blueprints on the coffee table to show everyone.

"Then let's stop jabbering and build this sucka!" Casey grinned.

Everyone had pitched in to help with the instructions of Donatello and occasionally Catharine. They made sure to place everything exactly as told not wanting to mess up the wagon and cause farther delay. Nia said far away from Leo as they build and if he got close she would distance herself. Skyler helped Raphael paint the design on the van.

Donatello cleared his voice "The new and improved party wagon!"

"It's so awesome!" Raph stated with a smirk.

"All right, team. Let's do this!" Leo smiled confidently.

"Come on, Ice Cream Kitty. We're going home" Mikey smiled petting the frozen pet

"Arrivederci, " Donnie said kneeling down to say goodbye to his chicken friend.

"That's so cute!" Cat blurted hugging them both causing Donnie to blush.

"You guys sicken me" Raph rolled his eyes at them and tugged Skyler with him so they could get settled in the van.

"What do you think you're doing?" Nia narrowed her eyes at Raph as he sat with Skyler in his lap.

"Getting ready to leave" he stated as it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"She's not sitting with you"

Raph growled low in his chest "Oh yes she is" he held on to her tighter to prove his point. Skyler blush but said nothing as she also wanted to stay in his hold.

"Nia just leave them alone" Kayla sighed as she and Mikey climbed in next sitting next to each other "It not like they can do anything" she reasoned.

Nia scowled but Kayla did have a point "Fine" she said as she climbed in settling herself between Casey and April in the front. Casey and April looked at her strangely but said nothing as they saw Leo climb in and growl low as he notice what she did. He said nothing and sat himself down on one of the seat crossing his arms annoyed.

"Woah" Cat eyes widen as she stepped into the van "You can actually feel the tension in here!" said teasingly trying to lighten the moody. Kayla snorted in agreement while Mikey smiled.

"Catharine" Donatello sighed while shaking his head at her and sat down pulling her into his lap. Then shut the van door with one hand.

"So what's the plan, fearless leader? Ninja-y or all-out attack?" Raph asked.

"Ninja-y. We park at the gate and sneak in. Then we split up and search for Master Splinter" Leo stated.

"And our fathers" April stated looking towards Kayla as she nodded.

Casey slammed on the breaks as a light was shined upon them.

"Okay, not good" April said.

"Oh, man! They got us, dudes! The jig is up, homeslice-" Kayla quickly covered his mouth with her hand to silence him.

"Citizen! This is EPF quarantine sector 7B. Roll down your window." Casey did as instructed "Authorized personnel only. No one goes in or out of New York City." The armed man finished saying.

"Whatever you say, army dude" Casey grinned at him as he walked away.

"You see that? It's a Kraang mind control device.I bet they all have them"April pointed out.

"They're all controlled?" Nia said also noticing the device.

Casey pulled down his mask and began to speed down toward the blockade.

"What are you doing, Casey?" April shouted gripping the dash board.

"Stop!" The soldier shouted and began shooting at them. They crash threw the blockade and into the city where Casey continued to drive until the coast was clear.

"What were you thinking, man? You got any brains behind that hockey mask?" Raph growled at his best friend. His intend mate could have been injured!

"I had no choice, Raph. They were powering up their blasters." Casey replied.

"Um, guys? Where are all the people?" Donnie stated.

"You-you think the Kraang mutated everyone?" Mikey added.

"No way, not possible."

"It's completely possible. I only sense a few hundred people left in the entire city. They're gone. Millions of people just gone!" April said as she tried to sense anyone out.

"One good thing. We haven't run into any Kraa—Oh, no! Why did I have to open my big mouth?" Mikey whined.

"It is the humans known as Casey Jones and April o'Neil. Kraang! Eliminate for Kraang!"

"Man the defenses." Leo shouted making everyone go into position. They shot down the Kraang with soda mint cannons and a stink bomb.

"Take a left. There's a secret entrance to the subway right here." Donnie pointed towards a near by ally.

"You think we'll be safe down here, dudes?" Mikey said shielding Kayla begging him.

"Shh, full ninja mode, you girls stay behind us in case any enemy's are near so we can take them out first" Leo stated getting a glare from Nia.

Kayla, Catharine and Skyler looked unsure for a moment then looked towards Nia receiving a nod from her. This would be where they would split up without the fellas knowing so they could get back to the safety of Divinity.

They began to follow them threw the tunnels until Nia gave the signal and they turned left as the passed an open tunnel.

Shh. You hear that?" Raph said quietly. A Kraang bot flew by them "Phew, that was close" Donnie sighed in relief.

"April, you think you can use your powers to track Splinter? - You did it before" Leo asked her.

"I can try, but you said his mind is no longer one with his body, right? Which means he could be crazy or unconscious, or - or who knows what?" April answered.

"Uh guys? Where are our dudettes?" Mikey said. Everyon turned to see what he was talking about and saw that Kayla, Nia, Catharine and Skyler were indeed missing. No soon then he said the words donatello's t-phone buzzed.

"It's a text! From Catharine!" He blurted.

"What does it say?"

"We're safe. Going to Divinity to find Kayla's dad. We'll meet with you later" he said reading the text to his brothers and friends.

"Nia? You sure that was the right thing to do? You know just leave them without any warning?" Kayla huffed as they continued running through the subway tunnels.

"You know as well as I do that if we told them they wouldn't have let us go"

"Yeah…but still―"

"Relax, I sent Donatello a text of where we are going" Cat cut Kayla mid-sentence.

"You did what!" Nia snapped.

"I had to! If I didn't they would have gone into feral mode and not focused on their mission!" Cat glared back. Nia gritted her teeth but knew Catharine had a point.

"G-guys please s-stop fighting" Skyler pleaded.

"There's the entrance!" Kayla pointed running faster to the narrow tunnel up ahead of them that had ancient writing written around the border, shielding it from humans and other things that didn't have Aeonian blood in their veins.
