After they ate dinner, Joshua had to go back to his meeting leaving the girls to talk among themselves in the tent.
"W-what now?" Skyler asked unsure.
"What do you mean? We stay here" Nia replied back rolling onto her side on the small cot.
"B-but what a-about Raphael and t-the others" she whispered, longing to be back with her mate.
"Yeah! When are we going back?" Cat agreed wanting to go back also.
"You heard what Joshua said we're to stay here until he gets back"
"Fuck that! I want to see Donatello now" Cat pouted crossing her arms over her chest.
"Maybe we can bring them here? It's much safer in Divinity than out there in the city" Kayla said.
"We could do that but then what about April and Casey? Knowing the guys they won't want to leave them behind and we can't bring them here even if we wanted to, they're human remember?" Nia stated boredly.
"Then we'll just go over there" Cat sighed and walked out the tent. Only for a second later to be pushed back in by a guard "Hey what's the big idea!" she glared at him.
"Sorry, we were giving instructions by Elder Sylph to not let you girls leave until he returned" the guard spoke calmly and head out again.
"Kayla!" Cat glared.
"Don't look at me like that! I didn't do anything!" she snapped back.
"He's your dad go talk some sense into him!" Cat huffed.
Kayla rolled her eyes at her "I doubt me talking to him will change anything besides we can't leave the tent until he comes back remember!"
"Master Splinter?" Donnie asked carefully as his father stayed silent when he finished telling him everything.
"Hmm?"
"Are you mad at us for bringing more innocent people into our fight?"
"You had no control over this…I am just worried my son" Splinter sighed "Where are they now?"
"I not exactly sure, they said they were going to Divinity to look for Kayla's father" he admitted. His chest tightening at the thought of his mate getting caught by the Kraang. He growled at the thought.
"Donatello" Master Splinter eyes narrowed at his usually calm son. These girls where bringing out his sons feral side and he didn't know if that was good or bad. Good because it made them trust their instincts, bad because it didn't allow them to think clearly.
"Sorry father" Donnie amended casting his eyes down to the ground.
"They means a lot to you?"
"You have no idea sensei" Mikey whispered softly. Splinter looked to the rest of his sons finding all of their expressions the same. He never knew this day would come considering their unique situation yet here he was his four sons, all of them have found their loves. He sighed he would have to have The Talk with them.
"This sucks!" Cat shouted throwing herself onto one of the cots. She grabbed her phone from the charger hoping it had at least charged enough to make a quick phone call. Her eyes gleamed when she saw twenty percent battery. She quickly dialed Donatello's number sighing happily when she heard his sweet voice.
"Catharine" he sighed relieved.
"Miss me already?" she grinned teasingly.
"You have no idea" he chuckled over the phone making her blush. She didn't think he would agree so fast "Did you manage to find Kayla's dad? Are you in a safe place?" He said snapping her out of her thoughts.
"Yes to both questions, we're in Divinity at the moment the Kraang won't be able to find us here no matter how hard they try" she assured him.
"That's good" he sighed in relief.
"Not really, we're on lock down we can't leave"
"I don't want you to leave, not until we beat the Kraang" he told her.
"But I want to see you again" she said softly.
"Please Catharine just stay there, just until we defeat the Kraang and take back the city" he pleaded.
"But–"
"Please! I won't be able to concentrate if I knew you were in danger"
"Ok" she gave in.
"Thank you"
Catharine could hear shouting in the background before Raph's voice drifted into the speaker.
"Where's Skyler" he snarled at her. She rolled her eyes and sighed.
"Sky it's for you" she said handing her the phone boredly. Skyler blinked at her confused "It's your boytoy" Cat grinned teasingly making Skyler blush as she took the phone from her. Her conversation was more quiet with a few blushes here and there but there was a soft smile always present on her face. When she was done she handed the phone to Kayla who in turn began to laugh every now and then. No doubt Mikey had been telling her jokes before she handed the phone to Nia. Nia took it and immediately ended the call. They stared at her with wide eyes. She however turn and tossed the phone to Kayla's cot.
Leo stared at Donnie's t-phone slightly angry and upset. She didn't even say one word to him. Not even a bye.
"Leo you ok?" Donnie asked as he stared at his older brother gripping his phone so tightly it was begin to crack.
"I'm fine" he muttered tossing him back his phone back to him and walked away.
"What do you think there fighting about?" April asked quietly.
"Who knows" Casey said watching his friend leave to the back of the pizza parlor to train.
Please review! Just a heads up, I will be skipping episode Serpent Hunt and The Pig and The Rhino and yea I know it would have been a good developing chapter for Nia and Leo but I have something different planned for hem.
