I know it been more than a year since I have updated this and I am ashamed. For those of you that follow me I'm sure you notice on my profile I HAVE been uploading chapters...just not for this story.

Honestly I hit a writer's block with this story mainly because I haven't seen any new episodes on TV for this series. Then when I try looking for them online I can't find them anywhere. I finally had enough and took matters into my own hands and bought some of the DVD to reference off. So I'm hoping now that I have it, it will be a smoother writing process. Meaning more chapters for you guys...hopefully. I don't intend to write another story until I'm completely done with this one.

THIS TIME I MEAN IT FOR REALS!

On another note I do have a poll going on my profile for my next story and you guys get to decide which one I should write next. But like I said I won't start that until this one is done. FYI this story only has 10 more chapters give or take.

I don't proofread my chapters! Lol I just dish them out as I write them cause I'm too lazy to do it.

He stayed with her much longer than he intended, much longer. He found it hard for him to leave her especial since she kept coaxing him back to her.

"Catharine I have to go before the sun rises" he sighed.

"Stay...with me...just a little...longer" she muttered half asleep. Her arms tighten around him and he couldn't find it in himself to say no to her.

"Okay" he wrapped his arms around her again and closed his eyes. A few more minutes wouldn't hurt.

He had been wrong.

Few more minutes turn into hours. He was lucky enough that Catharine and her parents had giving him a ride to the nearest manhole but now he had to sneak back into the lair. He swallowed nervously he really hoped his brothers and father weren't awake.

So far the coast was clear if he could just get to his room—

"Donatello" Master Splinter's voice froze him in his spot "Dojo. Now." the strict tone left no room for argument.

"Hai sensei" he sighed and changed direction to the dojo.

By the time his father was done lecturing him and let him leave the dojo, his brothers were up and already eating breakfast. Raph raised a brow at him seeing him come out of the dojo while Leo tilt his head confused and Mikey ate his cereal with a frown on his face.

No doubt thinking about Kayla. His mind concluded.

As he grew closer to them they all seemed to freeze in shock. Even Mikey dropped his spoon in mid-bite.

"No way" Leo gaped.

"Didn't know you had it in you Donnie, I'm impressed" Raph smirked at him.

"What?" He said confused at their sudden change in behavior.

"Really you're going to play the dumb card, D? We can smell her on you" Mikey grumbled pushing away his bowl of cereal losing his appetite as he was reminded that he was the only one that couldn't be near his mate.

He could feel his face grow hot "It just...h-happen" he managed to stutter out. His brothers knew he mated with Catherine. There was a small part of him that felt pride that he was the first considering that Raphael and Skyler were to be the first and had even gotten their father's permission.

"I'm going to be in my room" Mikey stated.

"Mikey we have practice in a few minutes" Leo called to him.

"I don't care"

"Man he's really been in a mood lately" Raph commented.

"Leave him alone Raph he hasn't seen Kayla in weeks how would you feel if you haven't seen Skyler for that long" Leo narrowed his eyes at him, immediately shutting Raph up.

"I'm going to take a shower" Donnie said.

Master Splinter slid open the dojo door and stared them down before sighing "Training will be in 10 minutes I expect everyone to be on time" with that said Donnie rushed to take a quick shower.

Leo stood up and went to tell his younger brother. When he neared Mikey's room he could hear shuffling and loud thuds making him worry.

"Mikey?" he knocked hesitantly.

"Leave me alone!" he growled.

Leo flinched at the his tone but straighten up and kept his cool before opening the door open. He had seen Mikey's room before, it was usually messy but not like this. Furniture was turned over some was even broken, he saw pick up his small nightstand and he moved to stop him.

"Mikey! Stop!" Leo yelled also grabbing a hold of the nightstand.

"Get out!" Mikey snarled pushing him back.

"This…isn't…you" Leo grunted struggling with Mikey's strength. He knew Mikey was fast but not this strong.

"Just leave me alone!" Mikey shoved him away.

"Michelangelo!"

They both froze at Splinter's voice. Michelangelo turned towards their father eyes wild and he growled. Leo's eyes widen in shock and Splinter narrowed his eyes at his youngest son.

"Dojo. NOW!"

For a split second Leo honestly thought Mikey would also lash out at their father too, instead he looked between the two before giving up and headed to the dojo.

"Master Splinter?"

"I will talk with him, tell your brothers training will be post pone for now"

"Yes sensei"

Splinter made his way to the dojo where he could already hear his son fighting against the practice dummies that he had in there for them. He slipped open the door and stepped inside before closing it once again. His son was too far gone from angry that he didn't notice him step inside, taking this as an advantage he swept his tail across the floor knocking him off his feet.

"Michelangelo enough" He said in a stern voice. He bent down and placed his hands on his shoulders to keep him in place.

"It's not fair" he whimpered out wrapping his arms around him and burying his face in his robe as he silently cried.

Splinter's face softened "I know my son" he patted his head while returning the hug. "But we must think of Kayla. Would she approve of your state?"

He hesitated a moment before finally answering honestly with a shake of his head "No, but I can't…" he struggled to find the right words.

"I understand, you are worried for your mate. But she is strong and she will pull through you just have to have faith in her"

"I just want to see her" he muttered softly and broken.

"I will talk with Joshua"

"Thank you father"

"Tell your brothers, no training for today. It seems all of you need a day to collect yourselves"

Splinter sighed as he watched his son leave the dojo. He needed to contacted Joshua immediately before his usually cheerful son became worst from the stress of being apart from his intended one. As if his prayers were answered the t-phone his son had given him began to ring Joshua's name clearly visible over the screen.

"My friend, I was just going to call you" Splinter sighed.

"I figured" Joshua commented tiredly "How is Mikey holding up?"

"Not well"

"The stress from being apart finally getting to him?"

"Yes"

"I hope you know I don't mean to put him through this, but I can't have him marking my daughter without her consent"

"I understand but is there a way where he could see her? Perhaps you could keep an eye on them while he visits her"

"I can do that" Joshua agree "But he must promise not to try anything"

"I'll let him know"

"Good I'll make some arrangements"

A week had gone by and he was nervous. This was the first time he would get to see his Kayla again since what he tried to do last time. Joshua was strict about his visit and told him if he so much tried anything he would not let him see her she woke up. He had agreed. He didn't care if there were three guards inside the room with him while two stood outside guarding the door. All he cared about was being close to his mate.

He grabbed her hand in his whimpering at how cold and pale she was but her could feel her pulse it was slow and steady and that's all that really mattered. IV's were hooked up to her and her heart monitor beeped every few seconds confirming that he was not imagining her the feel of her pulse.

"Please wake up Kay" he muttered low placing a soft kiss on the back of her hand. He stayed sitting beside her for hours. Everyone came to visit her and he just stayed by her side until visiting hours where over. Joshua place a hand a on his shoulder.

"I'll bring you back tomorrow" he said softly. Mikey nodded and followed him out but not before placing a kissed on her temple.

Short chapter I know but it was just to get the ball rolling and let you guys know this story is still in progress. Please review!
