Thank you for reviewing!

I don't proofread my chapters! Lol I just dish them out as I write them cause I'm too lazy to do it.

Disclaimer: I do not own TMNT. But I do own my OCs!

On with the story!

Enjoy!

Cat and Sky had stayed behind seeing as they couldn't really help. Skyler had been busying herself drawing and while Cat every now and again would check on April. She could see that Za-Naron really messed with her not only physically and mentally but her aura was partly destroyed. If Za-Naron stayed in April's body any longer she may not have been April anymore. Za-Naron would have completely destroyed her soul and taken her body as her own. She and April may not have gotten along but she would never wish that on her. They had come to terms and were slowly building their friendship—

"Cat" she felt a gentle tap on her shoulder bringing her out of her thoughts.

"I'm g-going home" Skyler muttered looking at the ground avoid eye contact.

"So soon?" Cat said surprised. Sky always waited until they came back so she can heal the guys and girls if they got injured, especially for Raph.

"I c-can't be here" Sky hesitated. She could feel the calling coming on and she had hoped it would go away before they got back. Usually it didn't when her body realized her mate wasn't near but there were days where it just made it so much worse if Raph wasn't around and today seem to be on of those days. Her body was burning, wanting, needing for Raph.

Cat tilted her head and examined her. She was breathing shallower and her face was flush and avoiding her gazed to sneak glances towards Raph's room and her aura seemed to be buzzing. She'd seen this before with Nia but that couldn't be right.

"Are you...calling?" she questioned with a raised eyebrow, there was amusement in her voice and Skyler blushed.

Skyler nodded quickly there was no point in denying it "I need to l-leave before he gets here"

That couldn't be right, Sky and Raph should have mated a long time ago unless...

"Wait! Hold up! You haven't not done it yet?" Cat's mouth dropped, "You had permission to do it way before us! If I were you I would have jumped his bones as soon as they said yes!"

"W-wait you b-bonded already?" Sky's eyes widen at the news and Cat blushed and shrugged it off.

"Yes we did. Don't know how you guys can keep putting it off for so long. As soon as the calling hit me we bonded," Cat stated "Enough about me, you're of age now! What's stopping you?"

"I'm n-not ready" she whispered embarrassed.

"But those other times..."

Sky shook her head "We're n-never...he j-just...h-helped?" She sputtered out.

Cat grinned "You perv"

"It's not l-like that Cat!" Sky said resembling a tomato.

"Not yet" she teased "But don't worry I'll teach you my ways! We'll make a minx out of you" Cat winked.

"But I don't want to be a...a...a" Sky could barely say the word.

"I'm just messing with you Sky" Cat smirked.

Sky was quiet before finding her voice again. "Does...does it hurt?" She whispered.

"A bit" Cat nodded "But it gets better...have him distracted you with other TLC on your body. Trust me, it'll help take your mind off the pain as you get use to it, Don does this thing with his fingers and tongue that—"

"Cat!" Skyler blurted mortified and Cat burst out laughing as Skyler turned and left out of the lair.

"Oh come on! This is good advice!" Cat called out.

"You have no filter do you?" April sighed with a slight blush on her face.

"April you're awake" Cat grinned.

"I wish I wasn't" April shook her head.

"Need some advice to help push things along for you and Jones hmm?" Cat teased and it only made April blush harder.

"It's not like that!"

"...Yet" she grinned. April didn't know but she and Casey had a link and for humans that usually meant they had a higher chance of being a soulmates.

Why was everything dark? Why couldn't she move? Where were her friends who were family? Dad? Mikey?

Wait a moment.

She's been here before. She didn't want to be here. She tried to move but nothing happened. She didn't want to be here. Panic flooded her. She wanted to go home. To her family. To Mikey.

"Please wake up Kay."

Mikey? Help.

"I'll bring you back tomorrow"

Dad? Don't go! I don't want to be alone!

The darkness seemed to engulf her, consuming her whole. Black ink soaked through her clothes like water and pulled her in. She struggled against it gasping for breath, but her lungs couldn't get any air in.

"We're losing her"

"Kayla don't you dare!" that was her father's voice. She was sure of it.

Dad?

"Get him out"

"Unhand me! That's my daughter!"

"Elder please! Let the healers take care of her! You'll only get in the way!"

Dad! Help!

"Using level 1 Med-shock. Clear!"

Pain surge through her heart and chest. Med-shock? Why would they use? Was she dying?

"Using level 2 Med-shock. Clear!"

There was the pain again, this time worse than the first time. She was dying.

Dad...

She didn't want to die. Not yet, she just found some good friends! And her dad would be devastated.

Michelangelo...she thought of him. The pain he would go through like her father. She couldn't just die like this. She couldn't do that to him.

She would not go like this.

She refused.

Her eyes snapped open and gasping for breath as chilling screams erupted from her. The healers rushed to hold her down but it only made her struggle more. Panic flooded her as she realized she wasn't in the middle of a battle. Where was she? Had she been captured? Were these Shedder's goons? She had to get out. She had to get back to Mikey, to her dad, to her friends. Her ability activated sending them all tumbling to the ground by the force of winds she was excluding. She began ripping off the IV's on her and she stood only to fall to the ground having no strength in her legs.

"Stop we're just trying to help you!" they shouted.

At their yells the door burst open and she stared up at a familiar face.

"Daddy" she began to sob on the ground unable to move from how weak her muscles felt. Her father was quick to gather her in his arms pulling her closely to him as he silently cried.

"Don't you ever do that again! Do you hear me!" he hugged her tighter "I thought I was going to lose you" he whispered placing a kiss at the top of her head.

"I…I died" she croaked out. Her voice was so quiet from the lack of use that he almost didn't hear her.

"Almost" he rocked her "But you're strong" he smiled weakly trying to cheer her up. She shook her head as he picked her up and placed her back on the bed.

"I...died" she said again in a raspy whisper looking him straight in the eyes. He froze at her words. The way she said it made him believe there was more to it. Something beyond his understanding. The chilling fear in her eyes even when he knew she knew that she was in safe hands. He had only seen this once before.

Her nightmare. He thought to himself remembering the night months ago where she woke up screaming in the middle of the night and couldn't recall her dream. She looked so frighten and small and it made him want to go out to find the source and get rid of it. Just so he would never have to see that look on her. He didn't know what to say so he didn't say anything and stayed by the side of her bed holding her hand as the healers began to attach the IV's she had ripped out. He stroked her hair like he used to do when she was a small child, watching as her eyes began to slip shut from exhaustion.

"She's in the clear now, we'll start physical therapy when she feels a little stronger" the lead healer informed him.

"Thank you, you're dismissed" he said tiredly.

"If anything chance please call us immediately"

"I will" he nodded to them.
