A/N: I am on spring break, so these chapters are comin' out a little faster than usual. Now for the reaction...

Plus, I haven't been payin' much attention to the other Mane Six, except Twilight, and these next couple chapters are gonna have a lot more them in it.

Fluttershy sat with her back to her front door, breathing heavily. What came over her? Jack had kissed her. Yes, that much was true, but what had she done? The whole scene played before her eyes. Jack had leaned back from the kiss, a kiss that had been cold and strange, with this look in his eyes, and she had slapped him. Fluttershy put her hoof to her lips. Jack had never kissed her before, well not on the lips. On her forehead and the cheek many times, but never on the lips. Fluttershy shook her slightly stinging hoof. Maybe she had over-reacted? A cup of tea would calm her nerves.

Fluttershy was just sitting down to drink her tea, when there was a knock on the door. Had Jack come to apologize for the kiss? She hurried to the door. It wasn't Jack who stood there, but Applejack with a concerned look on her face.

"Hey there, Fluttershy. There is somethin' that I need tah ask ya, and yur the only pony that I can ask. Can I come in?"

"Of course, Applejack. I was just about to have some tea. Would you like some?"

"Thanks, sugar cube."

Fluttershy went about and got Applejack a cup of tea. Another knock on the door stopped Fluttershy from sitting down. Twilight stood at the door.

"Sorry to disturb you, Fluttershy, but Granny Smith told me that Applejack would be here."

"Yes, she is. Come on in. Tea?"

"Yes, please."

Once all three mares were settled, Applejack looked at her friends. "I want ya'll tah know first. Spike and I are tyin' the knot."

Twilight and Fluttershy gasped and congratulated their friend.

"When's the wedding?" Fluttershy asked.

"Next week."

Twilight and Fluttershy were taken aback. "Why so soon?" Twilight asked.

Applejack blushed and fiddled with her hat. "Ya'll know how my family is old-fashioned? Well..."

Fluttershy gasped. "You and Spike didn't..."

Applejack put her head down on the table. "It was a couple of months ago, and we had gotten into Granny's "Special" Cider stash. We had been datin' for a few months by then. When we woke up the next mornin', we both decided not tah tell anypony. We didn't think much about it until about a week ago. I started feelin' sick 'n' stuff. Granny took me tah go get checked out, and ya know..."

Fluttershy and Twilight looked at each other, then back to their friend. Applejack's face was less than happy. In fact, it looked pained.

"I can see why that would cause you some concern, but why aren't you excited? You love Spike don't you?" Twilight asked.

"'Course, I love him, Twi! I just don't want tah feel like we're bein' forced intah this whole weddin' business. Spike says that he doesn't mind, but I can't help feelin' like he is thinkin' the exact thing I am."

Both all three mares knew that if Spike tried to walk out, there would be a mob of Apple family ponies at his front door with pitchforks and torches. Fluttershy placed a hoof over Applejack's.

"I am sure that you two will be very happy, and that you two will be great parents. I mean you both helped me with Tina, and she turned out wonderfully, chaos and all."

This made Applejack smile. "Speakin' of Tina, can ya give me some advice about havin' a foal that is only half pony?"

Twilight stood up. "Well, I had better get going. Dusk Sparkle needs my help with her magic training. Double congratulations, Applejack. I will see you next week at the ceremony."

As Twilight left, Rarity, Pinkie and Rainbow Dash came in. They were just as surprised and happy for their friend. Rarity left as soon as she could to go and get designing. She was determined to have a dress by the end of the day for Applejack to try on. Pinkie was in one of her party rants and talked about all sorts of party decorations for the reception. Rainbow promised clear skies and a Sonic Rainboom after the kiss.

"Thanks ya'll. Ya'll are gonna make this the most memorable weddin' ever."

"Well, we didn't get to help with Pinkie's wedding. She planned the entire thing out herself before we even knew there was a wedding." Fluttershy glanced at Pinkie. The party pony looked at the ground, her mane somewhat deflated, at the reminder. Cheese Sandwich has been on tour for over a year now, and Pinkie was really missing him.

Applejack put a foreleg over Pinkie's shoulders. "He should be home soon, sugar cube. His last postcard was from Saddle Arabia's border."

Pinkie smiled a little. "Yeah, I just miss him."

"Aw." Rainbow Dash fought back tears. "All this emotion is making me sappy."

Everypony laughed, and moved in for a group hug.

Fluttershy was finishing her chores when she saw Tina and Discord walking up the drive. She was surprised and looked at the time. It was 3:37, and Tina got out of school at 3:15. In seven years of school, Fluttershy had never forgotten to pick Tina up from school.

"Tina, I am so sorry. I lost track of time-"

"It is fine, Momma. Dissy came, and he treated me to ice-cream on the way home."

"Really?" Fluttershy looked up at Discord and raised an eyebrow. Her heart didn't do flips like it has the last couple times she has seen Discord. Strangely, she didn't feel anything towards the draconequus in front of her, but a little contempt.

"Thank you, Dissy."

"Your welcome, Fluttershy."

Discord sensed that something was different. He looked Fluttershy in the eyes, and thought he saw a flicker of darkness suppressing their glow.

"Oh, Dissy, since you are here, I should tell you. Applejack's and Spike's wedding is next week. I think Spike wants you to be his best stallion."

"Well, then I will go and ask him about it. See you around?"

"Maybe."

The lack of emotion in Fluttershy's voice made both Tina and Discord concerned. Something was wrong.

"Applejack, darling! You look stunning!"

Applejack looked into the mirror. Rarity had done a wonderful job. The dress was perfect. The simple design and splashes of color in the apple embroidery were perfect for Applejack. Under the dress, anypony could see she was starting to show, but the glow in her face gave her away even more. Fluttershy had helped with her mane, making it flow down under the veil in gentle waves with little apple blossoms in it. The earth pony's cowboy hat sat on top of the veil, even after a long debate with Rarity. Applejack refused to wear any makeup, much to Rarity's dismay, because it just wasn't her.

"Ya ready, Applejack?" Granny Smith came hobbling in, smiling.

The entire Apple family had turned out for this event. Hidden under each of their chairs was a pitchfork or torch, in case anydragon thought about bailing. Apple Bloom and her husband, Painted Winter, sat next to Big Mac and Cheerilee. Winter had a foreleg over Apple Bloom's shoulders and a hoof where their first foal was growing. The littlest Apple was due to be there any day now.

Discord stood next Spike, who was shifting from claw to claw nervously.

"Isn't it hot in here?" Spike asked, pulling at his collar.

"We're outside, smart one." Discord rolled his eyes at the young dragon's nervousness, then he thought, Would I have been the same way on Fluttershy's and my wedding day? Discord glanced over at Twilight, who was trying not to laugh at Spike's nerves. Flash Sentry and Junior sat in the front row. Junior waved at his mom, who waved back and smiled.

Fluttershy's bird choir started the wedding march. Tina, Radiance, Dusk, and Starshine skipped out of the barn, flinging petals every which way. After the fillies, Fluttershy, then Rainbow Dash, who smiled at her husband with their twin boys, then Rarity, then Pinkie walked out of the barn and down the aisle. Fluttershy looked stunning to Discord, and he glanced around. Jack was nowhere to be seen. Tina had told him that Jack has gone on a training tour with the circus, and would be gone for two or three months.

The crowd sighed when Applejack walked out of the barn. She displayed a country elegance that only Applejack could. She walked straight to the alter and turned to face Spike. The couple smiled at each other.

"Mares and gentlecolts," Twilight began. "We are gathered here today to witness the union between Applejack and Spike. Even though the events that led up to today were . . . unexpected," -the Apple ponies reached for their pitchforks- "this event has been long in the making.

"Applejack, do you take this dragon to be your husband, to love and to hold, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, until death do you part?"

"I do." Applejack smiled happy tears at Spike.

"And do you, Spike, take this mare to be your wife, to love and to hold, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, until death do you part?"

"I do." The gathering let out a collective breath of relief.

"By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you dragon and wife. Spike, kiss Applejack."

Spike pulled back Applejack's veil and kissed her. Everypony leaped to their feet and cheered and stomped their hooves. Rainbow Dash sped off and created her promised Sonic Rainboom. Discord clapped and glanced over at Fluttershy. A flash of darkness clouded her eyes, and she looked away.

This was now the tenth time Discord had seen that darkness, each time had made him uneasy. Something was wrong with Fluttershy, and he was going to find out.

Tina looked at her mother as the other couples danced. She was sitting at a table with a cup of cider, dried eyed, when she used to always leave the room so no one would see her cry.

Pinkie Pie took the mic. "Alright everypony! Gentlecolts, grab your daughters 'cause it is time for the daddy-daughter dance."

Soft music starts.

She spins and she sways to whatever song plays
Without a care in the world
And I'm sitting here wearing the weight of the world on my shoulders

Somepony tapped Tina on the shoulder. She turned to see Discord.

"Would you like to dance, Tina?"

It's been a long day and there's still work to do
She's pulling at me saying Dad I need you!

"But you aren't my daddy?"

Discord tried not to cringe at the innocent comment. "Well, Big Mac isn't Applejack's dad, but they are dancing. Relatives can dance, and since we are both creatures of chaos, we could be related."

There's a ball at the castle and I've been invited
and I need to practice my dancin'

"So," Tina thought hard, "you could be my uncle? Uncle Dissy. That kind of has a nice ring to it. Let's dance, Uncle Dissy."

Oh please, Daddy, please!

Because Discord was so tall, Tina had to dance on his feet and hug him around his chest.

So I will dance with Cinderella
While she is here in my arms
'Cause I know something the prince never knew
Oh I will dance with Cinderella
I don't want to miss even one song
'Cause all too soon the clock will strike midnight
And she'll be gone

The draconequus sighed, and put his cheek on the top of her head.

She says he's a nice guy and I'd be impressed
She wants to know if I approve of the dress.

No stallion is good enough for my baby girl. There would be an obstacle course to the house to pick her up, and it wouldn't be easy. He wasn't giving up his daughter that easily.

She says, Dad, the prom is just one week away
And I need to practice my dancin'
Oh please, Daddy, please!

So I will dance with Cinderella
While she is here in my arms
'Cause I know something the prince never knew
Oh I will dance with Cinderella
I don't want to miss even one song
'Cause all too soon the clock will strike midnight
And she'll be gone

She will be gone

Fluttershy looked at the dancing pair, a mixture of worry, contempt, and contentment in her heart. She was about to go separate them, when she saw the joy on Tina's face. She was finally dancing in a daddy-daughter dance, her dream. Fluttershy sighed. Let Tina dance with her father just once, and she turned back to her cider.

But she came home today with a ring on her hand
Just glowing and telling us all they had planned

Discord could almost picture Tina, a beautiful young mare, in one of Rarity's wonderful creations, walking down the aisle to one lucky stallion, whom Discord hadn't blown off the face of Equestria. He could make out her glowing face. She was radiant just like her mother.

She says, "Dad, the wedding's still six months away but I need to practice my dancin'
Oh please, Daddy, please!"

So I will dance with Cinderella
While she is here in my arms
'Cause I know something the prince never knew
Oh I will dance with Cinderella
I don't want to miss even one song
'Cause all too soon the clock will strike midnight
And she'll be gone

Discord smiled and held Tina close as they danced even as the music ended.

Tina had never danced in a daddy-daughter dance, and she had been hoping to dance her first with her daddy, but dancing with Uncle Dissy would do.

A/N: Awww! That was adorable! Cinderella lyrics courtesy of Steven Curtis Chapman. It is my daddy's and my song. *ducks* And please don't kill me! I had to stick a plot twist in. Things were goin' too smoothly.
