"Come on Lily, can you drink it for Daddy, please?" Carlton begged his three-year-old daughter.

"It's yucky!" she replied, curling up her lip.

"I know it is sweetie, but it'll make you feel better!" he put the cup to the side as he rubbed the child's back when she broke into another coughing fit.

"Don't you want to feel better?"

The toddler nodded slowly.

"You know, if you hold your nose when drinking, you can't taste it."

"Really?!" she asked.

"Yup. Here, try it!" Carlton helped her hold the cup and smiled as the medicine finally slid down her throat.
