They had let Kayla sleep while Cat kept an eye on her link. She didn't have to do anything because 10 minutes after hers returned Kayla's did too, which meant Mikey was alright. But even that didn't seem to shake the feeling she was feeling. Something bad was going to happen and her gut was never wrong.

They were surprised to see everyone arrive at the lair so soon after they had just left and it made Catherine and Skyler worry.

"What are y-you guys doing back s-so soon?" Skyler asked.

"Where's Donnie? And Leo, Karai and Commander Sal?" Cat said noticing her mate and the rest of her friends was nowhere in site.

"There were too many" Mikey looked down.

"We had to retreat for now" April said going straight to Donnie's lab. Bishop followed after her along with everyone else.

"So what d-do we do?" Skyler asked softly.

"We need to start planning" Y'Gythgba crossed her arms and stared down at Cat and Skyler almost in a challenge.

"That doesn't answer MY question" Cat said growing restless. Y'Gythgba stared at the yellowed haired human as she questioned Donatello's whereabouts. She took a step towards her and sniffed the air around her which confirmed her suspicions. This was Donatello's mate which meant the other girl was her competition. She was smaller then the other girls and the way she carried herself wasn't that of a warrior. It seemed that her "competition" wasn't going to be much of a challenge for her.

"They were taken but we're going to get them back—"

"Damn right we are!" Cat snarled and pulled out a map of the city laying it on the table "Where exactly are they?" She demanded.

"Dregg's Maligna ship is here. I will organize an Earth Protection Force strike from this side" Bishop laid out some of the fellas toys to represent what he was talking about.

"Then me, Y'Gythgba, April and Bishop will hit the other side" Raph added.

"Leaving me to use my sweet electrical mojo to get inside from the back and save Leo, Donnie, and the gang" Mikey gave a thumbs up at the plan "Tight" he grinned.

"This won't be easy" Y'Gythgba said.

"Like anything we ever do is easy?" April raised an eyebrow at her.

"I think I can help with that" Cat said biting her lip a bit unsure before shaking her head and looking determined "No, I'm sure this will help" she grinned.

"I know that look, that's the same look Donnie gets when he's about to make something really cool" Mikey clapped and Cat smirked.

"How much time do we have before shit really starts hitting the fan?" Cat pulled off her shirt leaving her only in a black tanktop and grabbed a welding mask from Donnie's desk.

"I would say half an hour any longer and we'll be doomed" Bishop stated.

"Good now get out so I can work" Cat said kicking them out and slipping on the mask.

"While Cat is doing what ever it is she's doing" April motioned to the now closed lab doors "We should gear up with everything we can that might help us win this battle"

"Good idea April" Nia nodded.

"And you?" Y'Gythgba asked staring down at the fidgeting girl as she looked everywhere except her eyes.

"M-me?" Skyler stuttered out.

"Yes we need all the help we can get, what can you do? Do you fight? Create?" the corners of Y'Gythgba's mouth twitched upwards. Yes, she would prove to be no challenge for her at all. The poor girl couldn't even talk properly without sounding afraid.

Skyler shook her head "N-no, b-but—"

"Then what use are you to us—"

"Hey! Don't talk to her like that! You don't even know her to be judging her like that" Raph growled at Y'Gythgba.

"I meant no disrespect Raphael, I am simply pointing out the obvious" She tried to amend.

"Salamandrian's are straightforward people. Do not pay any mind to their words, even if they do sound harsh" Bishop said pushing his sunglasses up. Y'Gythgba mentally thanked the Utrom for his imput of her people…even if he was wrong at this moment.

"Come on Sky, you can look me over in my room" Raph grumbled and grabbed Skyler's hand pulling her with him to his room.

"What does he mean by that?" Y'Gythgba questioned staring at their retreating forms.

"She usually looks over all of us after a battle" Mikey shrugged picking up Kayla's sleeping form from the couch. He carried her back to his room setting her on his bed and covering her with a blanket and then went back to the living room "Kay must have been more tired from the battle than she first thought" Mikey smiled softly and jerked a thumb to his room.

"Mikey about that, we need to talk" Nia motioned for him to follow her to the kitchen away from everyone's view.

"Anyway, like Mikey was saying Skyler is a healer she usually heals us after a battle" April smiled "Unless someone is seriously injured, Raph is usually the first to be healed"

"A healer?" Y'Gythgba said shocked.

"You look surprised" Bishop said monotone.

"A little," she admitted "On my planet healers are highly respected for it is them that help deliver new life into the world, they heal the sick and help the injured. Because of them, warriors are able to get back to the battle field to prove their honor and expand their skill" Y'Gythgba stated. Her lips in a straight line as she stared at Raphael's door.

"Then what's the problem?" April asked seeing her space friend faltered a bit.

"No problem, I just find it strange with the way she carries herself"

"How she carries herself?"

"Healers should walk around confident and speak with clarity anything less and people might think you do not know what you are doing"

"People will think of it as hesitation, almost like second guessing yourself" Nia mused.

"Precisely" Y'Gthgba nodded.

Their was a loud crash from inside Donnie's lab followed by Cat's shouting in victory and laughing.

"HOT DAMN! YOU GET IT GIRL!"

Y'Gythgba tilted her head confused while staring at the closed lab doors wondering what exactly was going on inside for the yellow headed human to praise herself.

"Don't worry about Cat, she tends to talk to herself while she works" April smiled.

Raph pulled Skyler into his room and closed the door and then sat at the edge of his bed. He relaxed as her fingers began to run along his skin looking for any serious injuries.

"I'm sorry for what Y'Gythgba said-" he said looking up into her eyes as she stood between his legs "It's not true, you know that right? You're the most helpful person I know"

"It's okay" she hushed him with a smile "She's just trying to find everyone that can help in anyway"

"It's not just that" he sighed nervously "There something I didn't tell you from when I was in space" he looked at her seriously and if made her nervous "Y'Gythgba had a thing for me"

"She has feelings for you?"

"Yeah but I didn't think it was a big deal because I didn't think I would see her again once we were back on earth"

"Do…d-do you have feelings for her?"

"No!" He shook his head almost looking in pain that she would even think that "She tried to make a pass at me several times in space and I told her no every single time because you're the only one I can think about, you're the only one I want Skyler"

Her heart fluttered at his words "I trust you" she cupped his face leaning in close. He pulled her down the rest of the way and kissed her gently before releasing her again.

"I would never cheat on you. You're my world" he said softly.

"Your heart is showing" she giggled lightly and he smirked pulling her down to the bed. She laughed as she fell beside him and he moved to hovered over her. Most of his weight on his elbow while his other rested on her hip making sure they stayed touching.

"Yeah well don't tell anyone, I still have a reputation to uphold"

"I won't" she smiled hooking a finger at the top of his plastron and tugged him in for a another quick kiss before pulling away again "Besides I like being t-the only one seeing this side of you" she giggled and kissed him again. He churred and ran his tongue along her lips in silent permission, her lips parted and welcomed him. Her arms wrapped around his neck pulling him closer that he fell on her.

"Sorry" he muttered trailing kisses down the side of her chin and down her neck before latching on her soft skin. Her scent and the small moan she let out was the only indication he had that she didn't mind his weight "Then again, I like this side of you" He smirked settling himself between her legs his hand ran down her left thigh and guided it to wrap around him.

Cat and Skyler watched them leave once more.

"You pervert" Cat teased enjoying watching her friend turn beet red "Getting in a quickie before battle. Naughty, Naughty~ I'm so proud of you" Cat turned to Skyler with a huge grin on her face. She latched herself at the shy brunette and wrapped her arms around her neck in a overjoyed hug "Sooo…how is it?"

Embarrassed as she was, Skyler couldn't stop the small smile from forming on her lips or the words that escaped her mouth.

"It was wonderful" she said in a dreamy satisfied voice.

Cat snorted at her words and then released her as her snort turned into a full born laughter. "I meant how is it being bonded not how was the sex?" Cat said as she gasped for air. Skyler could only blush and bury her face in her hands as Cat continued to laugh even more.
