isho- i felt bad since you've been waiting a year, so i quickly typed up another chapter. but it's time for bed now. i've been working night and it takes it out of me

We walk out of my neighborhood towards the park, since that is the only landmark I know right now and then pick a random direction from there and end up on a rather large shopping strip. The entire walk we've been talking about various things including what we would do when we got back home.

"What kind of things do you have to do at home Niwa-kun?"

Riku asked while the other's were staring at Saehara with mixed expressions. He was currently absorbed with the self appointed task of finding something to eat. There were several places to choose from but he insisted that he could find the best one and started to sniff around. I turn to her and think for a few seconds.

"Well, there is tv. I have many games, both handheld and console. But most of them are single player. We also have a lot of DVD's we can watch."

"Ohhh, we could have a movie night! Everyone can pick out one movie that they want to watch and then we can just have snacks or something!"

Towa pipes in and the others agree, Satoshi keeping his response quiet and reserved, where With chirped his out while bouncing next to me. We probably look like twins to everyone else. Dark of course is hovering on my other side, occasionally drawing closer to me, just long enough to give me a whiff of his scent, and then withdrawing again.

Saehara chooses that moment to sprint back drag us to a small Greek place that had a strong smell of spiced meat wafting from it. Well, it does smell really good. We all agree to go in and spend a good amount of time just sitting and enjoying our food while chattering.

"Well, I suppose you are good for something Saehara. The prices are pretty decent as well."

Riku says this with a bored look on her face, I then notice a devious glint when he whines a protest.

"Ahhh, don't be so mean Riku! I have other talents!"

She pokes another jab at him and he continues to whine while I eat my gyro, which is mostly meat, since I asked them to go easy on the other toppings, especially that tzatziki sauce. I'm terribly fond of garlic and that stuff was really strong when I sampled it. Dark leans into me and I look up at him.

"How's your food? Is the meat good?"

Dark went with this cheese and spinach pie thing, I forgot the name, and was eyeing what I had currently in my hands. I chewed what was in my mouth and then swallowed, noting that Dark was watching me very intently.

"Yeah, the meat is interesting, lots of flavour. Why didn't you get any?"

He smiles at me and swipes a strip of meat. He pops it in his mouth and I glower at him. He swallows and chuckles.

"I'm generally not fond of cooked meat. I like raw meat or rare most of the time. It tastes a bit off to me when it's cooked."

I hum in thought and take another bite, Dark watching me as I chew. He then wipes some stray sauce off my face with his thumb and licks it, making me blush and turn away. He chuckles and I turn my attention to the others.

"Your Mother was very nice to pay for our lunch."

Satoshi chimes in, saving me from my traitorous thoughts and I smile at him.

"I'll be sure to let her know."

I then look at Riku who is still torturing Saehara and a thought passes through my head.

"Ne, Riku?"

She stops and turns to look at me, brow raised in question.

"Um, you're an ameona right?"

"Yes?"

"How come it doesn't-"

"Rain all the time when I'm outside?"

I blush and sheepishly nod. She smiles, with no malice in her expression thank god.

"It actually only happens when I'm sad. Kind of a reflection of my emotions."

"Ah."

I turn my attention back to my food and work on finishing it while Riku and Towa start talking about some assignment.

After lunch we walk back to the park and find a bench to sit on while we digested. Well, most of us did, Saehara ran around chasing the geese with an energy none of us had after just eating. I thought he was a wolf, not a dog. Oh well, I lay my head down and enjoy the sun, just listening to the wind. After a few minutes I feel something get placed on my head and I open my eyes with a confused look.

My hat was placed over my head and Dark notices me looking and motions to the top of his head, where my ears are normally.

"You're slipping, probably since you're tired. Hey guys, we should probably rest at Dai-chan's house looks like he needs a nap."

I whine in embarrassment and shove at his shoulder making the other's laugh. We all get up anyway and I put the hat on properly as we head back. When we get there, we all pick out a movie each and make several bags of popcorn. To decide who gets to play their movie first, we play janken.

With won and popped in his choice, which was some documentary about dinosaurs. Saehara was seated on the floor in front of Dark and I, who was on my left. With was on the couch with us on my left. Riku was on the recliner and Towa and Satoshi pulled some of the dining table chairs out to sit on.

About thirty or minutes into the movie I start to nod off again, this time because of Darks' scent as well as my full tummy. I eventually lose control of my body and lean into him as I drift. At some point I'm snuggling into his lap, with his fingers trailing through my hair, occasionally rubbing my ears.

Mmmmm, feels so good.
