Kougyoku had managed to find a book shop that was looking for help. You were amazed at how fast she was able to find it, but then again she did look on the internet. You actually didn't think it'd be that easy, but as you were on your laptop and she was on hers, the next thing you knew Kougyoku had announced that she booked an interview for you. You would have preferred to look more into the job, but you trusted her and were grateful that she able to find something for you. A book shop seemed nice, though. It would be a good change in pace and while you missed working with Sinbad and Alibaba, you knew that this had to be done. Sinbad was very unfair when it came with your work and it could be a bit taxing with just you and Alibaba. "Your interview will be tomorrow," Kougyoku told you, to your shock.

"T-That soon?!" you questioned. Kougyoku giggled and nodded. It seemed as if she had set everything up for you. She was very dependable to say the least, maybe too dependable. After all, you would have less than a day to prepare.

"Don't worry, [Name], I'm sure it's just a formality. This place seemed like they wanted someone to work for them right away. Tomorrow will be perfect, don't worry. Besides, you need to show eagerness to get a good job sometimes. You don't want my brother to become your sugar daddy, do you?" Kougyoku questioned. You wondered how she picked that fear up from your relationship. You had to admit it, though, she was pretty good.

"Alright then," you sighed, "Tomorrow."

Tomorrow came much quicker than you wanted it to. Kougyoku had spent the night once again to help you prepare. You also talked to Kouha a bit on the phone once he was available, but he ended up falling asleep a few minutes after the conversation began. You couldn't blame him, though, sometimes those photo shoots last all day. This all was a bit unnerving to you, and you would have liked to have more support as you remembered how bad your last two interviews went. Kougyoku had to leave for her own job, though, but she did give you the standard advice of 'just relax'. You really wished that you could, but you were still so nervous. At least you had job experience now, although, you kind of didn't want the words 'Little Shop of Whores' on your resume.

Before she left, Kougyoku had given you the address to the book shop. It was called "The Joy of Books". The name sounded incredibly simple and you wondered why the shop owner chose such a name. Well, at least it wasn't a pun of a movie like a certain shop you've previously worked at.

You drove down to the shop after getting ready. You made sure to dress nice but sort of casual. You didn't want to look too professional since you felt like that might turn your interviewer off from hiring you. The closer you got, the more nervous you became. You even had a slight thought to beg for your old job back, but that went away the second it entered your mind. You soon pulled up to the shop. It had a canopy over its entrance and was painted a pale yellow with maroon stripes. You rose your eyebrow at the flashy color scheme, but didn't think much of it. You unbuckled your seat-belt and took a big breath before getting out of your car and entering the shop. There was a bell that rang as you opened the door and closed it. Before you had time to take the shop in, you were approached by a tall man with long silver hair. His lips were colored red and he was wearing fur.

"Hello~," he greeted, "My name is Fatima and I'm the owner of this establishment~." You had to stop your eyes from widening. You did not expect for the owner to look like this. "Now what can I do for you~?" You shook your reaction off and tried to act presentable.

"I'm [First name] [Last name]. I'm here for an interview," you stated. Fatima put a hand to his cheek dramatically and made an 'O' shape with his mouth. For some reason he reminded you of Sinbad with his outgoingness and not even a minute had passed with him.

"That's right! You seemed very eager online," he smiled. You couldn't help but to wonder what Kougyoku had done. You were surprised to find out that she posed as you. "Right this way~." Fatima led the way to the back and behind a beaded curtain. There was a short hallway with a door at the end of it. You assumed that must be his office. He took you inside of it and sat down behind a big all white desk. The seats were all leather inside of the room and there was a fur rug on the floor. "No need to be nervous~. This is just a formality~." You nodded slowly. "So tell me, do you like books?"

"I do," you nodded, smiling softly. You hadn't had time for reading much lately, but that didn't mean that it was something you didn't like to do. Fatima nodded at this answer, leaning back in his chair.

"My, you seem so tense. Look, do this for me, okay? Stand up," he waved a hand up and down as if ushering you up. You really didn't want to do this, but you had no choice. You got up, slowly, trying not to appear too cautious, although you were. "Now, streeeetch your arms up." You did as asked.

"Like this?" you asked him. Fatima nodded.

"Mhmm~! Now put them down and onto your hips," he instructed. You felt so weird, but you did want this job. "Okay, now lean to the left...now to the right...Okay! You can sit down now." You did as asked, letting out a sigh as you did so. "You'll do nicely! My customers will like you." You didn't completely understand how a stretching exercise would lead him to that, but everything had been too much for you so far. So you would just roll with it. "Now then, I'll need your measurements and I'll have a contract drawn up for you."

"Wait, so I'm hired?" you couldn't help but to say. Fatima smiled and nodded. You felt your nerves inch away as they were replaced with relief. Everything had been a lot easier than you were expecting, not that you were complaining. And while Fatima seemed a bit...strange so far he did seem like he would be a good boss. You did barely know him, but he seemed nice. He passed you some papers for you to fill out. You assumed that there would be a uniform involved since he needed your measurements, which was what you were filling out.

"Also the cost of your uniform will be taken from your check, is that okay?" Fatima asked, batting his eyelashes. You nodded, not seeming to mind. There were lots of places that did that after all, so it wasn't exactly a big deal to you. "Great~! Just finish filing this form out and then I'll see you tomorrow for your first day~!"

"So I start right away?" she asked, "No training?" Fatima nodded once again. You felt like this was all way too easy, something had to be up. Before you ask about it, Fatima spoke.

"After all, you've worked at 'Little Shop of Whores' didn't you? You should know how to do this job correctly," he smiled. At this point you didn't know whether to curse Kougyoku or thank her. You did appreciate her help, though, she seemed to know what she was doing.

You finished filling the form out and handed it over to Fatima. He hummed a bit as he took it before walking you out of the shop. Tomorrow will be one busy day. You would start work at a nice little book shop with a nice boss. No more porn, no more perverts, no more sexual harassment, and no more embarrassment. You drove out of the place, feeling accomplished. You would have loved to call Kouha and tell him, but you knew he'd be busy. You settled for Kougyoku instead, knowing you had to thank her. She would be on her morning break right about now. The phone rang twice before Kougyoku answered. "How was it?!" she asked, "Did you get the job?!" You couldn't help but to giggle at her excitement.

"Yes," you replied, "Thank you so much for getting it for me." You could hear Kougyoku squeal slightly from excitement. You talked with her the rest of the way until you got back to your place and told her 'goodbye'. Your whole routine would be changing and you'd have to get used to it. After all, it wouldn't be waking up going to Little Shop of Whores then class and back to the Shop. You wouldn't have to wake up early for no reason, and you wouldn't have to pick up your squeamish worker's slack. Your boss wouldn't come in late, make a sexual remark at you and then leave an hour later. No more cleaning up questionable substances, and no more working with just one other person...or at least you hoped. Things would be different now, and you would hopefully get used to them.

Once again, you hadn't been able to really talk to Kouha that night. It was a bit annoying, but you'd get through it. Hopefully you'd be able to see him soon enough, but for now you would focus on your new job. 'The Joy of Books' didn't open until the afternoon. You felt like that was a nice change in pace from how early your last job opened up, but you wondered if that was really okay for a book shop. Well, you would just accept this blessing for now. You had been able to sleep in late that morning as you only went to classes three days a week. You got up and got dressed before doing some homework. Kouha had texted you a nice 'Good morning', but other than that you were sure that you were too late to talk to him. He was probably busy again. You did text back, though, got no reply.

You checked the clock on your wall and noticed that it would be almost time to go soon. You didn't want to be late on your first day, so you finished getting prepared for today before you left, driving to the shop. Since it was open, there were much more cars out front than the last time. You got out of your car and entered the shop, hearing 'ring, ring'. The first thing you noticed was a tall guy with dreads dressed as a waiter. The shirt underneath his waiter coat was unbuttoned. Well...this was unexpected. He looked at you and sighed. "[Name], right? Fatima is in the back." You slowly nodded and inched your way back there. You knocked before entering his office. He was sitting at his desk looking over some papers. He looked up at your entrance.

"[Name]! It's wonderful to see you! I just need you to sign a few things and them I'll give you your uniforms and you can start work," he smiled. You walked over to his desk, sitting down at the chair opposite from him.

"Uniforms?" you asked, eyebrow raised. Fatima nodded before leaning back and crossing his legs.

"Yep! There are four!" He passed you a contract. It was about five pages long. You sighed as you started to glance through it, seeing the headings. They were 'work accidents', 'harassment policy', 'dress code policy', etc. The words were all capitalized making it a bit annoying to read. "It's just the usual work stuff. You know, dress appropriately for the job, no harassment, things like that." He waved his hand absent mindedly. You nodded and quickly signed your name. Fatima seemed pleased when you did so. "Great! You can change in the back! Today is servers, tomorrow maids, the next day swim wear, and the day after that is school uniforms~!" Now you knew why that guy was dressed like that.

"Wait, wha-"

"Oh! And no need to worry if you forget. I'll text you with a reminder every morning. Now, shoo!" Fatima urged you out of the room. You were still trying to process this. The outfits didn't seem the most appropriate to you. You could probably understand maybe the maids and servers but swim and school wear? You could only shake your head at that. Still...your boss did seem sort of out there so maybe this just came with the territory. You went to change into the short server outfit. It was a midnight blue color with long sleeves with white cuffs and gold cuff links. It also had a white apron tied at the waist and was button down in the front with gold buttons. Of course your cleavage was showing, which you sort of expected since the guy out front had his chest showing.

You sighed as you left the room in the back you were changing in. It seemed to be a store room. You walked out to the front of the store and noticed three other women dressed like you. One looked annoyed, one looked a bit flustered, and the third looked as if she had no choice but to be there. The flustered one turned to look at you. She had a small smile on her face. "Oh, you must be our new coworker, [Name]. I'm Sasha," she introduced before turning to the annoyed one, "This is Leila." She then pointed to the third one, "That's Toto." And finally the only guy in the room, "And this is Kassim." The name sounded familiar to you, but you weren't too sure.

"Nice to meet you all," you smiled softly. At your soft smile, Leila seemed to sigh and shake her head. She turned to Kassim.

"Kassim! You should have warned her about Fatima before she signed the contract," she mused, as he had been the one to greet you. Kassim merely rolled his eyes.

"I'm sure she knew what she was getting herself into," he muttered. Sasha got in between the two, probably hoping to keep the peace. It was nice to have more than one coworker, but you did wonder what they were talking about. Fatima seemed nice. Maybe it was about his flamboyancy. "It's not like any of us were warned, though." He gave a shrug.

"Still! If we can let people know before they weigh their options then they won't have to deal with what we deal with," Leila said. Kassim rolled his eyes once again. You couldn't help but to laugh a bit nervously at this mini bickering.

"I'm alright," you said, turning their attention to me, "Besides, this job can't be any worse than my last one. It was...a porn shop." You minus well let that out now. At that revealing point, they all looked at you shocked. Maybe you shouldn't have said anything. And then Kassim started laughing. He shook his head and walked away.

"Ummm...[Name]...," Leila started, only to be interrupted by the sound of our boss.

"[Name]~!" he sang out as he walked over, book in hand. "I almost forgot to give you this! I give a copy to all of my workers. After all, this classic book inspired the name of my shop." He handed you the book before going back to his office. You rose an eyebrow before looking at the book in hand. It was titled 'The Joy of Sex'.
