Chapter 7

Captured

"Five!"

The man heard creaking and cracking noise above him. The black haired man looked up and saw two great paws, with unsheathed sharp white claws, clenching the edge of the rock crumbling it a bit. Then an angry growl escaped the maw of the angry feline.

"Now, now." Halsey said pressed the dagger on Estels' neck and backed away from the rock.

Luin angrily glared harder at man.

The black haired man and his followers took few more steps back, their eyes never leaving the great bluish feline.

Luin jumped off the rock agilely right before Halsey, and the man in response as a threat for the great cat pressed the blade on Estels' throat more drawing small drop of blood. The great snow leopard pressed her ears against her skull and hissed at the man prepared to pounce at him.

"Now, now. Be a good cat. You do not want the boy to get hurt. Do you?" The black haired man snickered. "Now stand down. I know you can understand me." He added.

Luin let go of her offensive stance and lowered her head but, never stopped glaring at the man.

"Keep your head high, penneth. You are a huntress from a proud kind. Never bow your head and lose your pride to man like him." Lord Elrond said in elvish.

But what about Estel? He will kill him. The great snow leopard quietly said and the air around her vibrated in her quiet rumbling language.

"He will not. He needs him alive. Now rise your head. Do not lower yourself to a beaten down dog." The raven haired elven lord said to her and Luin rose her head high.

"Shut up!" the black haired man yelled. "Walcott muzzle her and bind her to the trees!" He ordered.

"But boss that is a 'really' big cat. I think Garret or Colton are better suited for this kind of job." Walcott whined.

"I said do it! Now!" Halsey yelled his anger mounting even more.

The smaller man yelped in fear and scrambled to the ropes, took one and hurried the great feline. Walcott stopped when he got to her, her blue stare was throwing daggers at him, but the look that his leader was giving him promised death if he did not do what he was told. The small man heaved a sigh of resignation and put the loop on the felines muzzle and jumped and almost passed out as the great snow leopard quietly growled at him. Then he put another loop around the felines´ neck. The remaining men gathered the horses, from which Garret got bitten by protesting Nightmare and Weldon got kicked by Asfaloth.

In a few moments the group entered the small camp and bind the elves and the great cat.

"Bind her properly so she would not move and help the others." The black haired leader ordered. Walcott with the help of Garret guided the bluish leopard to four sturdy trees and bind all of her paws to each of the trees alongside with her large body. They also bind her neck to the two trees in front so she would not move it an inch. In the meanwhile Pierson and Colton bounded the elves to the trees around the feline.

"We cannot do this Halsey." The stout blond suddenly said to the black haired leader, as he had to bind the raven haired elven lord.

"Why not?" Halsey spat back.

"That is the lord of Rivendell and his sons! We cannot do this to them!" Colton yelled and threw the rope on the ground.

Halsey walked to him with a twisted smile on his face. "As you can see." The black haired man sneered. "We are already doing this. So if you do not want to share their fate and be bound to one of these trees," the man gestured with his right hand, that still held the dagger, and the other men moved closer if the big blond man started a fight, "you will do as I say!" Halsey spat to his face.

Coltons' shoulders dropped and continued. "I am so sorry for this lord Elrond. I… I… I… never thought that this would happen when I joined the group." The big man sadly whispered.

The ancient elven lord heard in the voice and saw in the mans' eyes that he sincerely meant it.

Halsey then put the child down away from the elves and also tied Estel to a tree.

The elves and Luin tried to protest but could do nothing. Poor Luin was bound so tightly with the ropes that she could barely move not even lay down.

"We did as you told us boss. What do we do now?" Walcott asked as the others sat down around the camp.

Halsey walked around the bounded elves and the great feline with a smug smile on his face. And taunted the feline, pulled at her whiskers as she glared and growled at him.

"Before we kill them. Let us have some fun with them." The black haired man said. He walked up and down the row of the trees where the elves were bound. "Bring the smallest one closer to the fire." Halsey ordered and went to look over his stuff and pack.

Luins' sky blue eyes went wide as did the other elves.

'No! Not Legolas!' She thought.

"Let him be!" Yelled lord Elrond and the other elves.

Weldon untied the young princes' arms and led him to the tree near the fire and tied his arms around it.

A rumble that vibrated the earth around sounded from the feline as the dark haired swordsman was binding the golden haired princeling. Walcott hit the great cats' head with a foul smile on his face. He was more courageous now that the cat was tightly bound but, jumped back in horror as Luin tried to snap at his hand and the rope on her muzzle quietly cracked and loosened a bit.

The great bluish snow leopard smiled in her mind.

The short brown haired man stared at the feline and started trembling under the blue glare.

Near the fire Halsey brought out a dagger and approached the golden haired Mirkwood prince with the same smug and twisted smile that promised lot of pain.
