34. Important Information

My dearest readers,

I have several things to apologize for. Firstly, I'm so sorry for taking so long to update you on the status of this story. I mean it when I say I fully intended to update you all sooner. Secondly, I regret to inform you that I'm going to have to take a brief hiatus in light of recent personal events. My father unexpectedly passed away last month, and frankly, I am devastated. Because of this, I am going to take a short break from this story to give myself time to get accustomed to this new normal. That being said, rest assured, I have a plan!

Fear not, dear readers, I will make good on my promise to give you the ending you deserve (to be clear, we're nowhere near the ending, but I digress...). One month from today, Monday March 11, I will update again and will continue weekly (barring any other familial disasters) until the story is finished. Please understand that I do this for the good of the story as much as for any other reason. Anything I write in this mindset will not meet the standards you've come to expect from me, so I hope you will be forgiving.
