I do not own Fairy Tail in any way, shape or form. I do however own my OC and his gear (not the concepts behind them)

The following morning, Korogra woke up dazed until he remembered he was on his way to Organox to kill the snake creature that'd been causing havoc. Making his way to the dining car he had a quick bite to eat before deciding to stop by the self-proclaimed detective's room to see if he got any leads on the thefts, unfortunately he came up empty. Deciding to check the other rooms himself, Korogra found the businessman's contract returning to his room he found another note that was clearly a threat he requiped into his shadow warrior armor and faded into the shadows only for another celebrity to crawl out from under his bed and look around in a panic. Appearing from the shadows behind him Korogra grabbed the celebrity's shoulder and said, "Well what do we have here hm? A popular celebrity leaving a threatening note? To a Fairy Tail wizard no less? Keeping the vice grip on his shoulder Korogra sent a pulse of aura into the guy only for the illusion to shatter revealing a rogue wizard that was wanted for impersonation. The train soon stopped to refuel and as the door opened Korogra threw the unconscious wizard out before telling the conductor what happened and taking the briefcase, seashell earrings, and gold ring from him and returning them to their rightful owners.

Stepping off the train for some fresh air the engineer said, "Ah Mr. Kanbara, it seems the thefts you mentioned have been returned. We've run into a bit of a snag as you can plainly see. A river used to flow past here, however it dried up some time ago and been turned into farmland. Since then the drawbridge had stayed lowered but strangely it's raised. The switch should be inside the station, here's the key. As I don't remember exactly where the switch is." Taking it he said, "Shouldn't take too long to get the bridge down." With that he unlocked the station and pushed open the door which squeaked as expected of a door that's rarely used, entering the station he coughed and said, "It's really dusty in here." Continuing through he was attacked by some monsters that had made their home in the old station, knocking them out he kept going. Soon he exited the station to the sight of the sun setting behind the mountains, after watching it for a short time he went down the nearby stairs back into the station. After clearing out the monsters he finally found the elevator key, nodding to himself he made his way back to the first room and unlocked the elevator and took it down to the basement, only to be greeted by a writhing group of dust balls. He rose an eyebrow and was going to ignore them until he saw the drawbridge switch in the center, pulling out his bladed fan he blasted the creatures away and pulled the switch. Returning to the entrance, the engineer said, "Thank you Mr. Kanbara. Tomorrow we arrive in Parjiok Heights, we'll reach Organox the following day." Nodding he returned to the cabin just as night fell, exhaustion catching up he turned in for the night.

The next morning, when he got up it was strangely quiet. Exiting his cabin he asked himself, "Did I miss the stop?" Walking through the cars he called, "Hello? Matthew? Chef Itake? Hm." Entering the engine room he saw the engineer, who said, "Mr. Kanbara hope you enjoyed the trip, we'll be arriving at Parjiok Heights shortly." However just as he finished, a dust creature from the station latched on to the windshield followed by another soon the whole windshield was covered by them in a panic the engineer said, "Check on the passengers! I have to drive!" Korogra nodded and requiped one of his heavier one-handed swords and checked the other cabins only to find them empty, hearing a panic in the direction of the baggage car knocking the creatures away the conductor and waitress thanked him but he said, "Don't thank me yet, the other passengers need help." Following the creatures on top of the train he silently chuckled, "Fighting atop a moving train, such a movie cliche." He soon saw the creatures clumped together before they stacked into a large monster with the other passengers in its tendrils he heard Matthew call, "Auron! Help!" While Chef Itake yelled, "Help us Mr. Wizard!" Readjusting his grip, he said, "Don't worry I'll take care of this, I know it sounds crazy but try to bury yourselves into the creatures. I don't want to hurt anyone by accident." The creature started trying to smack him with the tendrils, and while his sword was heavy he avoided most of the strikes. Getting his chance, he swung at the center of the creature realizing early on the tendrils are just distractions after taking some damage the tendrils changed into a large pincer. When it struck Korogra said, "Okay yeah, that hurts." Shaking it off he requiped a sword that looks like crystal but was lighter than the one he'd been using to that point and said, "Time to kick up the speed."

With the increase in his mobility it took a few minutes to take down the creature. With the final blow each dust creature blew away from the speed of the train, returning his sword to his pocket space. He said, "That takes care of that." Before helping the other passengers back into the train just as the conductor called over the intercom, "Attention passengers, we have now arrived at Parjiok Heights. Again, we have now arrived at Parjiok Heights." With that, the passengers claimed their baggage and disembarked. The conductor noticed Korogra and said, "Mr. Kanbara thank you for your help. Why don't you spend some time here while our engineer gets some much needed rest?" He nodded, "Alright, maybe I can get some information on the creature in Organox. I'll be back before nightfall." He then stepped off the train and saw the detective heading to another part of town, curious he followed him to a museum. Once there the detective said, "Oh! Mr. Kanbara thank you for your assistance on the train. You must be curious why I'm at this museum, well I am it's curator." Unlocking the door he asked, "Now I believe you said you took the job to exterminate the snake in Organox correct?" Korogra said, "Yeah, it's my first official job as a member of Fairy Tail, as I worked freelance until recently." The detective then said, "Oh! I forgot to introduce myself while on the train. My name's Samson." Korogra responded, "I'm Korogra Kanbara." Samson said, "Pleasure. Now I was in Organox last year and saw what it's capable of. Hopefully you have something that can purge a poison that in addition to draining your energy also has a slim chance of paralysis. Of course it's hide is incredibly tough, it's fast too. But I'd be more worried about the fact it can burrow through cement." Korogra asked, "And this was a full year ago right?" At Samson's nod, he said, "Then the chance of paralysis is higher. Hm. Thanks for the info Samson." Leaving the museum he noticed a weapon shop, seeing as he still had some time before he had to return to the train he decide to see what they have. The bell above the door chimes and the cashier said, "Welcome to The Mystic Mantle. What can I do for you?" Korogra said, "I'm browsing for weapons, what've you got?" He said, "We recently found some weapons in some old ruins. Additionally we've got pretty much any weapon to suit your needs, but if I'm being honest the fact that a couple weapons we found in the ruins seem to be made of bone freaks me out."

Korogra shrugged, "No big deal. Seeing as they were in ruins, maybe bone was just what they had. I'm sure there were plenty of monsters that had bones sturdy enough to use as weapons." Before wandering around the store, seeing a couple weapons he called, "Hey do you guys have a way I can test the weapons before I buy them?" The cashier said, "Yeah, we've got a training area around back, I'll show ya." Following him, they came to a sizable area with targets and dummies. Korogra nodded, before grabbing the weapons that caught his eye and returning. Putting them on the nearby table, he grabbed a large sword that seemed to be made from a large bone and swung it a few times before shaking his head muttering, "No, too awkward. Sure there's power, but swinging it throws off my balance." Putting it to the side he picked up another sword and gave it a few test swings before nodding, "Strong, balanced, and rather light." this went on for about two hours and out of the ten weapons he bought four of them. Leaving the shop, Korogra met with the conductor who said, "Ah! Just in time Mr. Kanbara, we're about to leave for Organox." Nodding, he returned to his cabin and the conductor called, "Allllll Aboooaaard!" Once the train started moving, Korogra said to himself, "I'd better rest up, I'm gonna be extremely busy once we arrive."

A/N: I'm gonna stop there, next time Korogra will continue his mission and I'll go from there.
