Dude Where's My Navigator?
"What did you do to Nami," screamed Luffy. "Where is she?"
The Straw Hat Captain was quickly losing his cool. The minute he heard that some bounty hunter took his navigator off the island he was rushing to the port anxiously hoping to he wasn't too late. Well actually.. Luffy stuffed an entire plate of meat he stole down his throat first and then started scurrying towards the port to join in on the search. He even had a bone still hanging out of his mouth as he approached the coast with the rest of his crew. Everyone was surveying the island hoping to capture a glance of the bounty hunter's ship. It didn't take long for Robin to locate the bounty hunters bobbing in the water. Their ship was in ruins and they were quickly making their way back to shore. The minute they made it to land however they were welcomed by the not-so-welcoming arms of the Straw Hat Pirates.
Zoro had his sword pressed up against Barney's throat and Luffy had snaked his right arm around Angre's torso, squeezing him tight in hopes to muscle an answer out of him about his missing navigator. Angre had already lost his heart and he was quickly starting to lose his mind.
"It was the pirate doctor," he managed to cough out. "The pirate doctor took her."
"Pirate doctor?" questioned Usopp.
"Yes! It was the Surgeon of Death," explained Barney, inching away from Zoro's sword. "He has her, not us!"
"Hmmmmm a pirate doctor, huh?" Luffy scratched his head in confusion. "Never heard of such a thing!"
"EHHH! I'm a PIRATE DOCTOR, you idiot!" screamed Chopper, slapping his captain upside the head.
"Huh? Chopper aren't you a reindeer pirate?" exclaimed Luffy. "That sounds cooler than pirate doctor."
Even though he knew his captain was giving him a compliment Chopper couldn't help but feel a little insulted. The reindeer took great pride in being a doctor and of course wanted to be acknowledge as one.
"How about Chopper is a SUPER REINDEER PIRATE DOCTOR," called out Franky, striking a pose with his arms in the air.
"EEEEHHHH! That sounds it even COOLER!" shouted Luffy with sparkles in his eyes.
Chopper couldn't help but blush as he swayed from side to side smiling and calling his crewmates a bunch of bastards.
"Luffy this is no time to focus on silly names! If Nami has really been captured by another pirate crew this is really serious," declared Usopp.
"If that shitty pirate doctor lays one hand on my precious Nami-swan I'm going to tear him apart limb by limb," screamed Sanji.
The Straw Hat's chef had spent the last hour blazing on fire searching high and low for Nami. And judging by the amount of anger still pumping in his blood these flames were not planning to fan out any time soon.
"Luffy, he mentioned that Nami is with the Surgeon of Death," stated Robin. "This was the same pirate that retrieved you off the battlefield during the Marineford War."
Luffy gave Robin a puzzling stare. Clearly her explanation was not coming through to her captain.
"His name is Trafalgar Law. Luffy he saved your life."
Luffy cocked his head back and started to pick his nose in confusion. She was still not getting anywhere with him.
"He was at the auction house in Sabaody."
Luffy's eyes lit up right away at the mention of Sabaody Archipelago.
"OH! The guy with the talking bear," proclaimed Luffy. "Robin you should've stated that sooner! Gosh you really are dumb, huh? Shishishi!"
"YOU'RE THE DUMB ONE, IDIOT!" screamed the rest of the crew.
"Yohohoho! Even though this was the same man that saved Luffy-san's life...shouldn't we still be worried about Nami-san's safety around him?" questioned Brook.
"Naw. She'll be fine. He has a talking bear with him," explained Luffy.
"What does that have to do with anything!?" yelled Usopp, slamming his fist down on his captain's head.
"Luffy as much as I want to believe that Nami will not be in harms way," stated Robin. "At the end of the day this is a man who is a pirate though and though. There's no way to predict his intentions in taking Nami and what his plans are in obtaining her in the New World."
"Luffy did you hear that," cried Usopp. "This could be bad! Very bad! We need to find Nami right away!"
Luffy crossed his arms and nodded with a frown. The rest of the crew could tell that Luffy was finally starting to take this situation more seriously.
"You're right," proclaimed Luffy. "We need to find them right away. No matter what."
"Yes! Thank you, Luffy!"
Usopp sighed with relief. Maybe after 2 years their captain was finally growing some sense after all.
"Traffy and Nami might have a fun adventure without us and we can't let that happen! That would be terrible!"
Usopp dropped his head down in defeat. Of course he spoke too soon.
"No, you idiot, he might put our beautiful Nami-swan in great danger!" screamed Sanji.
"Everyone get on board on the Sunny NOW! We cannot let them have a fun adventure without us!"
"Luffy are you even listening to us?" yelled Usopp and Sanji.
"Zoro! You navigate the ship from here on out," ordered Luffy. "I trust you will get us there in time for the fun adventure!"
"Yeah sure. Navigate a ship. Sounds simple enough," agreed Zoro heading in the opposite direction of the Sunny.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" proclaimed Sanji, Usopp, Franky, and Chopper. "ANYONE BUT THAT IDIOT!"
"OI!"
It's alive...IT'S ALIVE! HAHAHAHA!
First off a humble thank you for those that committed to following this fanfic for so long! GEZ! Y'ALL ARE AMAZING AHHHHHHHH! OMFG!
And if you're new to reading this story, a very warm hello and "welcome! I promise I won't wait another 4 years to update this thing lol. I think ...LMFAO!
Naaaaaw I already got a chapters already planned out ;3 don't ya worry!
However if you follow any other of my other fics (ex: Heart Hazard, Fallen Kingdom, etc) might take a while to get those guys back on their feet. Annnnnd yeah I may have another fic in the works in the future too...you know how it goes lol. But in the mean time I hope to update this story as often as possible. It's my first fic and it is one that I've though out for the longest time... so yeah, I feel good continuing with it 3
And again I want to give great thanks to those that put up with this long long long long much over due update and hope you look forward to some LawNa in the future chapters!
