Inside the shady bar was a man dressed in a fitting tux along with a pretty young thing next to him. The man himself looked to had been sculpted by the Gods and the woman next to him looked like a goddess.

The man had crimson hair with dull amber eyes, the female having stark pale pink hair along with emerald jewels for eyes. She was finely dressed in a royal blue slip on dress and matching royal blue heels that wrapped around her dainty ankles.

"Have you heard the news?" The mans deep velvety voice perked the woman's ears.

"No, why?"

"The Kurta Clan has been murdered, all in one night too."

A single pink brow rose at the news, "The Kurta Clan? Any survivors?"

"Just one, it's a young boy, probably isn't even ten yet."

"Mm, any clues on who it was that killed the rest of the clan?"

"Just one, the Phantom Troupe."

A small grin appeared in the woman's face, "Now that's a name you don't hear too often. Why would someone like Chrollo want to kill a clan like the Kurta?"

The man snorted, "Hell if I care. Chrollo is nothing but an annoyance in my side."

His female companion giggled at that, "He's not all that bad, Sasori. Besides he knows how to make an impression on people."

Suddenly the conversation between the two was interrupted when the bartender slid an envelope in between the two of them, "Someone dropped this off. Didn't see who it was, they left it on the table with instructions to deliver it to the two of you."

Sasori glance down at the letter before taking it and smoothly ripping the envelope opened to reveal a simple letter and a single rose petal, "This is quite the impression, Sakura."

She grinned down at the petal that was obviously meant for her seeing at it had her name written on it long with the words, 'my love'.

Sasori rolled his eyes at his younger sister's grin before he began to read the letter to himself silently,

"Dear Haruno Siblings,

I suppose by now, you must have heard of the Kurta Clan massacre. I am proud to say that I am responsible for the killing of the clan in a single night with the help of the other members of the Troupe. Watching the beautiful light in their crimson eyes were just the most ecstatic feeling yet.

Allow me to cut straight to the point, seeing as I know you hate being kept waiting, Sasori the Flesh Collector. I have killed the clan to show you and the Akatsukis, what the Troupe and I am capable of. Do not take this as a declaration for war or anything like that. I'm simply saying that if I want something, it will get it. This also ties with the letter I had sent you a month earlier.

Best regards, Chrollo."

Sasori snorted out as he dropped the letter into the cup of alcohol, only to set it on fire as well.

Sakura glared at her older brother as he took the single petal from her hand and dropped it into the fire as well, "What the fuck, Sasori?"

"He's not someone I want you to be with, Sakura." Sasori stood from his seat and walked away, leaving his younger sister to herself.

She huffed out as she watched her brother leave, she then turned to look as the petal and letter was slowly burning away, "I don't care if you don't like him, Sasori. I like him so it doesn't matter what you say." She puffed out her cheeks as the petal completely burned out.

Suddenly an arm snaked its way around her shoulder, "You shouldn't frown, my queen."

Sakura grinned, "And you shouldn't try to threaten my brother just to get me."

"Why not? There's no other way he would've known that I'm perfect for you." The pale man's lips touched upon the pink beauty.

"Let's hope so. My brother nor the Akatsuki take kindly to those who are weak."

"Good thing I'm no weak."

Sakura turned to lean her forehead against the man of her dreams, "A very good thing."
