Third Term For Snart!
Written By: Iris West-Allen
Nearly ninety-seven percent of the precincts are in and for the third time Leonard Snart has won the election by a landslide. Central City is a state of celebration. In the last eight years, Mayor Snart has turned the city deficit into a surplus, increased funding for public services, such as Police, Fire and Emergency services and reformed the cities school system.
Mayor Snart gave his victory speech late last night, his wife, Sara Lance-Snart, looking on proudly beside him. Video of his speech can be seen on our digital platform, but the highlight of his speech was his gracious thank yous to the people of Central City for "Allowing him the honor of serving them and moving Central City into the future."

"So, were you?" Leonard questioned folding up the newspaper and setting it aside. Across the table, Sara looked up from the dry toast she was concentrating a little too hard on.
"Was I what?"
Leonard smirked. "Looking on proudly beside me last night."
The grumpy wrinkle of her face smoothed out as she looked at him with love. "Of course I was proud. My husband won his third straight election. What's not to be proud of?"
His smirk turned into a loving smile. "I don't know what I would do without you."
"Well according to the newspapers, you apparently wouldn't have won the first election." she teased.
"Yes, well, thank god my sister made me go to the ballet then."
Sara's chuckle was cut short as she stood abruptly. "Excuse me." she muttered rushing out of the dining room. Leonard counted to ten and then followed her. He found her in the powder room near, knelt over the toilet. He dampened a washcloth with cool water and laid it along the back of her neck as he held her hair up for her.
She groaned. "When does the morning sickness stop?"
"Another six weeks or so." he replied sounding pained on her behalf.
She groaned again.

Expecting!
By: Iris West-Snart
It is with great honor that I can bring to you this wonderful news. Mayor Snart (36) and his wife, Sara Lance-Snart (31) are now officially expecting their first child. I got to sit down with them yesterday afternoon to discuss what things will be like for them moving forward.
Q: So, I guess the first question is, when is this little bundle of joy going to grace the world?
Leonard: In December, just like her mother. We're looking forward to bringing her home just in time for the holidays, although we haven't decided if we're going to have a general celebration or two seperate celebrations for Chanukah and Christmas.
Sara: (Laughing) I don't think she'll be awake enough to care, but they'll be nice memories that we can share with her later.
Q: Her? So you're having a girl?"
Sara: Yes, we are, and we couldn't be more excited.
Leonard: More like we couldn't be more excited than our sisters. Lisa and Laurel have already started buying her clothes. She's not even born yet and she has a wardrobe bigger than both of ours combined.
Q: Well, your sisters are excited, what about the rest of your families?
Sara: My mother won't stop gushing and my father breaks out into tears anytime he thinks about this first grandchild. As for everyone else, they seem to be excited, they keep sending me nursery ideas, and ideas for little outfits.
Q: And what do you see in her future. Any hopes for her?
Leonard: So long as she's happy and healthy, nothing else matters.
