It's been awhile guys! I think that I'm officially back to writing on this site again, if only because of the restrictions continually placed on Tumblr.
Normally, I'd have left this story abandoned, almost did actually, except I'm pretty excited about reading/watching KnB, which was released in a similar time frame to PoT. Plus, Yuuri on Ice! It looks so beautiful. So plot bunnies are rustling about in my head right now, especially with the potential for PoT/KnB tennis and basketball members crossing each other.
Yanagi/Midorima/Inui. Just imagine it. They'd be an interesting trio! Kind of like the Mabudachi Trio from Fruits Basket, their friendship would be very analytic but intense. I'm hoping there are still fans lingering but if not, I'm not going to get discouraged and just post. I lost my spark after being on this site for so long but I'm trying to get it back.
The most major thing I think I goofed when writing this drabble series is that I'm kind of making the characters more mature than I intended, not that it's too OOC I think? Basically, Inui currently is a second year at Midorigawa Elementary, same as Yanagi, which places them at the age of 13-14.
And Ren is a third year, which makes him 14-15.
Now, the serious bit here, as I discovered from Google/Quorara.
The usual schooling in Japan is 6 years of primary school (from the age of 7 to 12),3 years of junior high school(from the age of 13 to 15), 3 years of senior high school (from the age of 16 to 18), and 4 years of university education(from the age of 19 to22).
So when PoT canon officially begins, everyone is pretty much like fifteen on up.
They in junior high.

Back on topic. I'm kind of aghast that I'd almost portrayed something I definitely didn't mean to do, which was dangerously edging into an underage sexual relationship. I think I can be excused for this, since I was younger when my fascination with the series started (and never really faded) and I honestly thought that they were high schoolers going into college, barring Ryoma.
I really just wanted to say that it'll be awhile before Inui and Ren get to the down and dirty, I'm gonna be focusing on character growth and relationship development. And of course some cameos. Working on the new chapter as we speak.
Please don't abandon me~
