IM SO SO SO SO SO SORRY THAT I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN FOREVER! But, now that school's out the only prevention I have is work but I will definitely be updating more often. Just note that is has been like three weeks has gone by in the story.

I do not own the teen titans

"So," Victor started as he turned his direction to the violet haired girl working on the car next to him.

"Now that you've been in town for a few weeks now, have you got your eye on any special people?" Victor teased as Raven rolled her eyes.

"As flattering as this is, Victor, I don't think Karen would be too happy with such an affair," Raven remarked sarcastically, a smirk just barely showing on her lips. Raven truly enjoyed her study hall with Victor. Everything was calm so she could focus not on her sucky life but on being herself, her sarcastic and monotoned self.

Victor blushed and corrected, "Heh, you know what I mean…"

Raven sighed, "Honestly Vic, I'm not really looking for a relationship right now"

'Besides,' she thought, 'who would want to date me?'

Ever since Victor had found out about Garfield's crush on the pale girl, he had been trying to give Raven little pushes and subtle hints to get the two of them together. He did make it thoroughly clear to Garfield that if he hurt Raven, having children in the future would be impossible. Plus, he thought a nice relationship would be good for his little Rae, yahno to come out of her shell.

Raven focused back on the car that she was working on and crossed her fingers that Victor would drop the subject. She still refused to admit to herself that she had any sort of romantic attraction to Garfield.

Meanwhile in Math with Garfield…

Garfield leaned back in his chair and stared blankly at the teacher in front of him. The pathetic substitute teacher was attempting to teach the class about—well Garfield wasn't really sure. The green haired 17 year old pulled out his cell to text Raven, since he knew she was in study hall. Yes, he memorized her schedule and tried to think of himself as not a creep.

[Underlined = Gar and Italics = Rae

Ayyyyy I'm soo bored! Math SUCKS

Then maybe you should pay attention…

BUT ITS BOORING

Well if you were looking for entertainment why don't you text Victor or Richard

CUZ Dick is in gym so doesn't hav his phne on him N Vic told me not 2 bug him when hes workin on his bb

HEY GREEN BEAN THIS IS VIC, STOP BUGGIN RAE WHILE SHE"S WORKIN ON MY BB

Garfield pouted as he realized that Raven was hanging out with Vic in the mechanics class. Even with the knowledge that Victor had no romantic feelings for Raven whatsoever, Garfield still found himself being jealous.

Victor just told me that, due to a last minute make-up-date with Karen, he can't drive me home. I am perfectly fine walking home as I've done all of my life, but he keeps on insisting that I ask you for a ride.

Garfield smiled widely, telepathically thanking Victor for getting them some 'alone time'. Even if it was just an 8 minute car ride.

OF COURSE RAE_RAE!

He replied quickly, excitement flowing already through his veins.

At lunch everyone did their normal things. Victor and Garfield argued relentlessly on which was better: Tofu or meat? Richard and Kori danced around their feelings for each other in very awkward conversations. All while Raven sipped her tea quietly.

It wasn't long before the end of the day had come. Contrary to Garfield's excitement, Raven was kind of dreading the ride home. Garfield's motions were a little bit obnoxious and made it hard for her to focus. Another reason as to why she couldn't fathom having those feelings toward him.

Garfield dragged her over to his car immediately after the last bell rang to prevent her from ditching him and walking home.

The two of them rode in silence and for once, Garfield was actually enjoying it. Normally in such a silence he would relentlessly try to fill it, but with Rae there he just got to simply enjoy her presence. When he pulled up to her house, he heard Raven groan ever so slightly.

"What's up Rae?" He asked softly

He could see her having an internal battle of whether or not to tell him.

She sighed and looked him in the eyes, "My dad has his little bitch over. For the twentieth time this week"

Raven couldn't stand this chick that her dad brought home about a week ago. They were fucking rabbits. She didn't understand what the whore saw in her dad anyway, oh yeah the bitch said, "The way you beat your daughter 'turns me on'" Raven held in a gag.

"Oh come on Rae, I'm sure she's not that bad" Garfield said hoping to make her feel better. Needless to say, it didn't work.

"Yeah, whatever. Thanks for the ride, I guess" She muttered getting out of the car.

Garfield felt slightly defeated, but he didn't let it show. He smiled and said "NO PROBLEM RAE-RAE"

Raven walked in the house and immediately wished she didn't. There they were, having sex, on the couch. She tip-toed up to her room and searched for her razor to wreak havoc on her own body.

Garfield came home to Steve, his adopted father, standing in the doorway.

"You. Are. Late." Steve said in a harsh voice, making Garfield feel like the size of a mouse.

"I was dropping someone from school off at her house…" Garfield explained

"OOOOOh GAR'S GOT HIMSELF A GIIRRRRL" Garfield blushed madly and looked to see Larry laughing hysterically.

"Dinner is on the table, next time don't be late and it won't be cold." Steve said and walked away

Rita, his adoptive mother, walked up to him and put her arm around his shoulders.

"So, who's this girl?" She asked in a motherly voice.

Garfield, once again found himself blushing, "Her name is Raven…"

Everyone in the house ceased to bother him then, seeing that they embarrassed him enough for one evening. He ate his now freezing cold dinner and walked up stairs to his mess of a room. He then began to play video games until he fell asleep.

Drool began to fall out of his mouth when his phone rang. He woke with a start and looked at the clock, 11:47. Who would call him this late at night? Not botering to check the caller id he answered with a groggy, "Hello"

"Gar, fuck, It's Raven. I just" Garfield found himself energized as he realized it was Raven. Concern filled him when he realized she was crying.

"Look, Richard and Victor didn't answer and you, fuck, were my *sniffle* only option. I Just—can you come over?"

"Yeah, yeah I'll be there what's wrong?!" Garfield questioned grabbing his car keys from his dresser.

"I'm such a fucking terrible person"

"No you're not Rae, no you're not. I'll be over in 5"

He heard her hang up and sprang into action.

He was glad it was so late and therefore little traffic because he was driving like a maniac.

When he finally got to her house, he saw raven crying on the porch of her house with a bouquet of flowers. He got out of his car and saw her puffy eyes.

"Rae calm down, it's okay." Garfield said pulling Raven into a hug that she, to his surprise, didn't refuse.
