Hey Guys, so I'm not sure if we're reaching the end or not. It kinda depends on how the next chapter or two go…... ? Also I apologize in advance I suck at writing fight/intense scenes so just bare with me a little.

At first Garfield had no idea what Raven's text had meant. But somehow it clicked and he sprang into action. Somehow he knew today wouldn't have gone completely to plan. He tried not to let his mind wander to the worst, but he couldn't help it. So, he pulled back into the road, and sped down the street until he reached Raven's house.

He hesitated at first, wondering if he should let steve know about the change of plans, but before he could, he heard a scream come from the house.

Garfield's mind went into overdrive. He had only just gotten Raven to open up to him, and he sure as hell wasn't going to let anyone take her away from him. No longer was he worried that Raven would be upset with him for telling Steve, it wasn't even on his mind. Everytime he closed his eyes he saw her bruises and for a moment he felt an emotion that could only be described as pure rage, and imagined himself tearing Trigon apart. But, he pushed these thoughts away, Gar did not want to become just as much as a monster as Trigon himself. Although, if it came down to it, he knew he would do anything to protect his Raven.

When Garfield entered the house, his stomach immediately dropped. There was a large pool of blood that elongated the entirety of the staircase. He followed the path until he reached Raven's room. There she was, laying on the ground, clutching a wound at her side. Garfield dropped to her side to assess the situation.

Raven was almost white, and her skin growing cold, she was conscious, but barely. She wore only a bra and panites, Gar did not want to think about why. He knew it would only make him to angry to focus. Garfield looked under Raven's bed for the first aid kit he had accidently stumbled upon that night he had stayed over, and quickly gathered gauze and antiseptic.

"I'm sorry, love, but this is going to hurt." Gar poured some of the antiseptic on to her wound and she hissed in pain, not having quite enough strength to scream. After being satisfied that the wound was properly washed, Gar began to wrap the gauze around her, careful not to cause her anymore pain. He placed a kiss to her forehead, "It's almost done, love, and then everything will be okay."

Of course Gar had no idea if that was true or not. He still had no idea where Trigon was, and while Garfield was stronger than he looked ,he knew he couldn't last in a fight with him. He tried not to think about that, and focused on taking care of the girl in front of him. She seemed to have regained a little bit of color, but if he didn't get her to a hospital soon, it surely wouldn't last. From the looks of it she had lost a lot of blood.

Raven was barely maintaining consciousness, but she watched as Gar bandaged her up, and tried her best not to let him see her give up. She wished she'd never met Garfield, so he wouldn't have to be in this situation. If he never had her, he wouldn't have to lose her now. She focused her breathing and begged her heart to hold out, for him. Raven knew if she didn't make it, Garfield would blame himself, and after what had already happened to his parents, she knew he wouldn't be able to handle this. So she kept breathing. And she kept her heart beating. As long as Gar was there, she could handle it.

Now that he knew Raven was alive, Garfield felt calm enough to send a text to Steve. He hoped Steve would see it soon, because he wasn't sure how much longer Raven would be able hold out.

Gar's hands were shaking, but he hoped steve was savvy enough to understand. At this point Gar wasn't sure what he should do. Should he look for Trigon? Should he wait for the ambulance, or try to take Raven to the hospital himself?

He knew he couldn't just sit around and do nothing, but a decision needn't be made as Raven's eyes widened and he saw her begin to freak out. Garfield looked over his shoulder to see Trigon himself looming over them.

"What the Fuck Do You Think You're Doing?" Trigon seethed drunkenly, as he raised his arm to hit Garfield.

"How DARE you come in here nD Fuck mY littLE slut!" Garfield avoided the punch, but was not nearly prepared for Trigon to take the beer bottle in his hand, and slam it down on his head.

"Raven Is not a slut!" Garfield snapped back, from the ground, clutching the heavily bleeding wound on his head. Gar knew if things continued the way they were going, he wouldn't last very long. He hoped Steve had gotten his text. Whether or not he made it out of this, he needed Raven to be okay.

"AreLLA is MINE, You CAMOT HAve Har," Trigon's words were slurred, but the rage behind them was quite clear.

Garfield tried to get up, but was immediately kicked back down. He coughed into his hand a few splatters of blood, and sent his foot into Trigon's crotch.

Trigon reeled over in pain, and Garfield took this opportunity to stand, and punched Trigon in the jaw. Trigon hissed, and sent a return blow to his stomach, bringing Garfield to the ground once more. One after another, Trigon gave a series of kicks to the boy's stomach. Gar looked over to where Raven was lying, but his vision began to blur. Black spots filled where her body used to be, and his ears began to ring.

The last thing Gar heard before he blacked out was a loud bang.

. Well so…. 1 that was really short, but…. I think it added to the effect of the chapter….?
