Hey whatsup you guys, yes….. Guess who's back (back again) Shady's back, tell your friends… Anyway…. Fair warning about this chapter its kinda gross and i lowkey gagged writing it so yea… [trigon is one nasty son of a bitch]
Trigon Roth was not a weak man. He had perfected strength in both the mental and physical aspects of the word. He survived years of gang violence and hell he had the family of his beloved murdered in cold blood.
Everyone around him was weak. His parents, could not handle him, the woman he loved took her own life, and even his own spawn could not exercise the same strength. He had so much hope for Raven, that maybe she could have been everything Arella wasn't. But, maybe she still could be, his blood flowed through her veins, she cannot deny the darkness that exists inside of her. If she only learned to exert this darkness on someone other than herself, perhaps she could be everything Trigon has ever wanted.
But this stupid child had to get in the way of everything, HE is what made his Raven weak. Love. The only time Trigon had ever truly felt it was with Arella and look what she turned him into. He turned into a slobbering baby calling Raven by the wretch's name. Trigon wasted far too much time on the bitch, when the true gift was what came from his loins and out of her womb. trigon may have been able to make love to Arella, but with Raven he could do what he truly desired, straight and dirty fucking.
Trigon supposes he must thank the boy for awakening the woman inside his daughter, but still the boy has made things far too complicated and needs to be taken care of. Normally, he'd have Slade take care of this, but after the incident with Raven, Slade became out of commission, permanently. The thought of anyone else's hands on the curves and crevices of Raven made Trigon angry to the point of murder, and he was not one to hold back.
Trigon thought back to a few days prior when Raven had pulled the gun on him. He was taken aback, he had never seen her so strong, and he could feel himself growing hard just thinking of it. The way her hand held so firmly the gun, he wanted oh so badly on his own, Arella would have never- unless the gun was on herself. But Raven, he's still bloody hand traveled down into his pants. The way she pulled the trigger on him with no hesitation, he stroked. Sure, her aim could have been better than his shoulder, but still that look in her eyes was enough to send him into a state if utter euphoria.
Trigon sat pleasuring himself on the floor of one of his safehouses on the other side of town. He thought of going to one closer to his home so he could more quickly take care of his wounds, but decided to play it safe and stay away from where the cops would surely be investigating. After this fiasco, his business would surely be in hellfire, but luckily he had enough assets on his person and in his safehouse to hold him over until he figures something more longterm out.
He took the town next to him on the floor and cleaned himself up, zippered his pant back up and stood looking into the mirror. He had done a hack job on his shoulder, if he had raven she could have stitched it up nice like she did her own wounds. He licked his lips thinking about her gentle, but sure hands wisping around his shoulder, clinical yet caring.
Trigon walked over to the refrigerator and cursed himself for not keeping it stocked with beers for situations like this. Though, he never really expected this to happen. He thought that maybe Raven could warm up to their new life of sharing a bed and running the business as a couple. But, the stupid child got in the way, filling her head up with fantasies and completely destroyed everything Trigon had worked towards.
Now that she had this new 'family', Raven would never willingly come back to him, which is why, Trigon decided, he would have to burn it to the ground.
"Have you heard anything about Gar or Rae," Richard asked as he sat down at the table.
Kori looked down at her plate and shook her head sadly.
"I talked to Steve and Rita last night, Gar's doing better, he'll be able to checkout of the hospital soon, but Raven still hasn't shown any signs of waking up." Victor tried his best to hold tears from falling. "The doctor's said we just need to be patient, but she's been out of surgery for three days now, and-" Victor couldn't finish his sentence as the tears he was struggling to hold back now fell freely down his face.
Kori and Richard made solemn eye contact as they put their arms around their friend, letting their own tears fall as well.
"I was going to go to the hospital today to visit, do you guys want to come along," Richard asked regain his composure.
At the hospital, Steve and Rita were flooded with paperwork given by the social worker who was put on Raven's case. Steve and Rita were adamant about wanting to take Raven in, but they still needed to go through the required loops before anything becomes set in stone. When Raven comes to, due to her lack of insurance, will have hospital bills coming from her ears, and combined with Gar's own bills, whether or not the family can afford to bring Raven in is a question in need of answering.
Rita and Steve were both quite successful, and money had never been a problem, but this level of expenses was in another tax bracket completely. They want to help Raven, but they certainly won't be much help if they can no longer afford their home.
Telling this to Garfield was one of the hardest things they've ever done, next to telling him that his parent's really were never coming back to get him.
They knew he would take it hard, that in his weakened state it would be hard for him to understand, but they hoped he would not hold it against them. All they could hope for was a miracle.
...And that miracle went by the name of Bruce Wayne.
Bruce was not sure how he felt about the violet haired girl his adopted son had befriended. He knew her father was a cutthroat man that bathed in a pool of corruption, and didn't want his son getting involved with such a family. But he did not sense the same darkness in Raven herself. Sure she was looming in mystery and pain, but perhaps it was just a product of her circumstance and not directly her own being.
The day that Richard came home in tears because not only was Raven, but Garfield as well were in the hospital, Bruce knew something would have to be done. And while he knew Steve and his wife would have the best intentions, he knew he would be the only one capable of truly taking this on. That is why from the second he found out about Garfield and Raven's conditions he set up an account that would immediately go to anonymously paying both of their bills the second they were released.
As for the adoption, Bruce had briefly discussed it with a lawyer, but there was the fact that Raven has yet to wake up, and he needs to discuss it with Richard before moving forward. he knew Richard would not have any issue with this, but the last time Bruce took on a helpless case before talking about it to his son, well, it didn't go very well.
Wow so there was a lot going on in the chapter huh… Trigon is gross, Richard and the gang are distressed, Rita and Steve are in a tight situation, but perhaps Bruce Wayne has the solution to it all…. As always let me know what y'all thought and see you next time (which hopefully with be sooner rather than later)
