Revealed and Released
Days have gone by Sonam had been training her abilities in secret and luckily even Soundwave hadn't detected her…yet. Right now she was ready to use some of that power to bring the others back, starting with Rumble and Frenzy. Skyquake and Cliffjumper were going to be a little tricky though, but for them she needed Starscream's and Optimus's help. That meant she needed to reveal her secret sooner than later to the others, in a way she was kind of relieved. At the moment she was trying to contact Optimus through her psychic link;
"Optimus….Optimus can you hear me?" ….
"Yes, I am here young one? What can I do for you?"
"Optimus I'm able to control a multitude of my powers and right now I wish to use some of it to bring back our fallen comrades. But for me to do that I need at least a small part of their bodies; an servo, peds, optics anything…Do you have something of Cliffjumper?"
"Yes, after the Decepticons abducted Cliffjumper a single horn was left behind, I could retrieve it for you from its resting place"
"That's great, I wish to bring back Skyquake as well but for him I'll need Starscream's help so a heads up if you see him later alright?!"
"Are you sure that is wise? I know you will need to reveal yourself sooner or later but Starscream…"
"Don't worry about it big guy, besides weren't you the one who wanted to give everyone a change and believe there can be good in them?"
"Hmm, touché"
"Alright when I get the others wait for my link again and I'll tell you where to meet, till then"
With that she cut off the connection and went her way towards the holding cells. She hadn't forgotten the Insecticon they captured along with Starscream that day and he has been quiet since he was brought on the Nemesis. When she reached the holding cells, she snuck through the guards and went inside. Cautiously she walked closer until he moved his head towards her and just stared into her eyes. Son focused and created a psychic connection with him;
"Hey how are you doing?"
The creature just stared at her in surprise, but replied;
"Besides being locked up by my master without much of a second thought? What do you think?!"
She stared at him a little embarrassed but started talking normal to him;
"I can understand your frustration, but I wonder what happened to you back there with Arachnid?"
"She somehow controlled us, I do not know how but I know this: spiders shouldn't be able to do that. Only a Queen was always capable of such a control on us"
"She has help from a new enemy known as FangBlade, maybe he has something to do with this. And believe it or not she wasn't always like this, you see…."
She then started her tale about how she came to be on the Nemesis, her dreams, her meeting with the Primes, the destruction of Cybertron in the future and Arachnid's tale. The entire time some of the Vehicons who were supposed to tend to the Insecticon dropped in on their conversation and couldn't believe what they were hearing.
"Did you hear that?" one asked the other.
"Y-yeah, should we tell this to the others?" the other asked a little scared and amazed at the same time.
"Hhhmm, let's keep this a secret amongst the other Vehicons and Eradicons, but stay clear of the Commanders. I don't want her to get hurt and who knows how Megatron might react should he learn of this" they just walked away and comm-linked the others on the ship for a meeting amongst themselves and away from Soundwave.
"Now you see, I might not have any right to ask this from you. But would you consider helping me with my mission and help the others on the planet?" Sonam asked the Insecticon whose name, she found out was Hardshell.
"If it is to serve my master and restore Cybertron I will, but do not think I will get along with the Autobots if or when it comes to working alongside them. Too much damage has been done by both parties!" he remarked.
Son nodded and told him: "There is always hope for the future, I will not ask either side to hold hands and let bygones be bygones. That will be something you all have to decide on yourselves and work towards to"
"Hmm, perhaps I can help you against Arachnids ability but you need to allow me to help you. I'll try and convince Megatron to let you go so we can start with this link, but for him to believe I can I'll need to prove it first" Sonam told Hardshell, who in turn looked at her confused.
"How will you accomplish that?" he asked her.
Sonam just smiled and went towards the door, before she left she turned and answered; "You'll see soon"
In the Lab with Starscream
Starscream was typing away on a new project he was working on for a while now, he didn't hear the door open and close behind him. Until he heard the lock system running did he turn around only to be met with, no one in the room? For a moment he thought someone was playing a prank on him, until he looked down and saw Sonam looking at him quizzically, but decided not to ask she got straight down to business;
"Starscream I need to ask you something" she asked him with a serious look on her face.
Starscream tilted his head a bit, while bending down to allow her to get on his servo;
"What do you need to know?" he asked a little curious
"Don't get mad, but one of the Vehicons once mentioned that you arrived with a servo on the ship not belonging to you. Was it by change that of Skyquake?"
"Wha-what?! I thought I told that Vehicon never to mention that incident!" he said a little angered by that, but Son wasn't having any of his tantrums.
"Starscream stay focused with me, it's important. Can I trust you with a secret only me and Optimus know about?"
This got Starscream interested, the Prime what could he have to do with Skyquake's missing arm, but he was curious and interested as to what she has to say;
"Very well, what is it you wish to tell me?"
Sonam sighted telling Starscream wasn't going to work in the first place so she tried something, she motioned for him to come closer and when he did she touched his forehead with one hand and the other went to hers. Suddenly Starscream was in the same fields as Sonam had gone for several months now, he looked around and turned his optics-sensors on and off continuously until he heard a chuckle coming from between the trees;
"You keep that up and you'll damage yourself Screamer"
Starscream was about to retort on the nickname he despised so much, till he recognized the voice all too well and widened his optics when the owner of the voice revealed himself;
"Boo!" Cliffjumper exclaimed and with that Starscream yelled out and wanted to high tail it out of there, when he saw none other than Skyquake in front of him with a sadistic smirk on his faceplate and started to crack his knuckles;
"Welcome to the world of karma, Starscream!" he said in a sadistic tone scaring Starscream even more; again Starscream turned only to be tripped by two servos on his peds.
When he turned a little only to see both Rumble and Frenzy high-fiving each other and looking at him like a bunch of psychopaths;
"Did you miss us Screamer?" they both asked, that was the last straw and Starscream fainted right there and then.
Sonam had just arrived with the Primes when she saw Starscream unconscious on the ground and the others laughing it up, she face palmed knowing what had happened here. Some of the Primes were shaking their heads at the scene, while the others chuckled.
"Had fun kiddies?" Son asked the jokers, who looked at her and smirked innocently
"We were just saying' hi' till he screamed and fainted right there" Cliffjumper said, while Rumble and Frenzy kept their servos over their mouths to keep them from laughing harder. Skyquake just crossed his servos over his chest-plates and whistle innocently like he had nothing to do with Starscream's predicament.
"Yeah right, I'm not buying that. Try to wake him up we've got work to do, both he and Prime are going to help me get you all back to the land of the living" she told them while hoping off of the Prime and run straight for Starscream.
Skyquake sighted and got a bucket out of nowhere, filling it with water and dumped it over the Seeker's faceplate, who sputtered and woke up startled;
"Waaaahhhhh, I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry!" he screamed out of control
"Starscream calm down! They can't hurt you here!" Son tried to explain, but the Seeker wouldn't budge
One of the Primes had enough and started speaking in Seeker-chant, it sounded like a melody in everyone else's audios and ears. After a while Starscream started to calm down but was still afraid of the ghost and kept at bay from them. Sonam sighted and shook her head she had known this was not going to be easy, but she should try none the less.
"Starscream please listen carefully to what we have to say and what we need to do. Cybertron and basically the entire universe depends on all of us now and we need your help to get things started" Sonam told the Seeker who looked at her confused;
"W-What do you mean?" he asked her and that's when the Primes and Sonam started telling him of their plans and what will be occurring in the future if things aren't done accordingly. After a while Starscream had a thoughtful look on his face and asked;
"What must I do and are you sure this will even work? If something happens and Megatron finds out something happened to you while I was near he'll have my head!"
"Don't worry it won't I believe I can do it, but right now I will need something from Skyquake to bring him back and retrieve the shells of Rumble and Frenzy if I am to bring them back" Son told the Seeker
"I can get them and I think I know where to find Skyquake's arm after I used the Dark Energon on his body….." one look from Skyquake and Starscream just shut up on that part.
"Ahem…anyways we can bring them back, but I'm not sure about Cliffjumper" Starscream pointed at the Autobot, who looked at him with a smirk. He was still enjoying the sight of the seeker after their little prank on him.
"Don't worry about that, it so happens after Cliff was captured one of his horns was blown off and the Autobots kept it. Optimus is retrieving it as we speak and will be waiting for us" Son started
At the mention of the Prime, Starscream began to stutter a little, but his faced showed that he was blushing a bit. Son noticed and decided to tease him a bit;
"Starscream what's wrong with you? You look a little flustered" and gave him a pointed look like she knew something no one was supposed to. Starscream started to stutter even harder and was looking at her with wide optics.
"N-n-no, it's just won't he attack the moment he sees us?" he tried to save himself and get off topic.
Son just smirked but answered; "Nah I already told him you'd be with me and let's just say he was quiet 'fine' with that"
Starscream apparently didn't get the hint and just nodded to her, he looked around for a moment and noticed how peaceful it is. Sonam then decided that is was time to go and they all traveled back on the Nemesis.
Back on the Nemesis
Son released her hand from Starscream's forehead and waited for him to reboot his sight and everything else. He looked around for a moment before gazing down on the girl in his hand;
"That really just happened didn't it?" he asked her and she nodded at him, he sat her down and started walked towards another part of the room rummaging through some weapons when he found what he was looking for.
Son's eyes widened when she saw Skyquake's arm in his servo and looked a little worried at Starscream;
"You kept it here the entire time?"
"Never crossed my mind to dump it and from the looks of things it's good that didn't" he smirked at her.
Son shook her head leaving it at that and started walking towards the door;
"We need to retrieve Rumble and Frenzy from the Soundwave and Shockwave soon, got any ideas how to do that?" she asked hoping Starscream could help her with that part
Starscream thought for a moment, till he suddenly made a face that said 'eureka' and Sonam could swear she saw a light bulb appear above his head.
"I think I know how to get them, wait for me at the Ground Bridge and tell Prime to wait for us at the valley where Skyquake's grave lies" he then turned and sprinted away. Son just stood there looking deadpanned, but just shrugged her shoulders and headed for the Ground Bridge.
When she got there she immediately contacted Prime and gave him the coordinates to their meeting area, after that she activated the console for the Ground Bridge and typed in the coordinates using her phone. When she heard the door open she spun around to meet with a bewildered looking Starscream holding the pods containing Rumble and Frenzy's shells as well as Skyquake's arm. He was breathing hard began to look nervous, Son had a feeling something was not right;
"I've already set the coordinates, just activate the bridge and let's get to it!"
Starscream didn't hesitate to run through it and Sonam immediately followed after him. Once she left, she heard a commotion on the other side. Before she could look the bridge disappeared, she would ask about that matter later. In the meantime Sonam was preparing herself for the revival process, while Starscream was keeping watch for both the Autobots and the Decepticons. He can just imagine what Soundwave and Shockwave must be going through when they realize that the pods were missing, but the one he feared most was Megatron he only hoped she didn't do anything stupid and injure herself. Just then both heard an engine noise coming towards them, Starscream stood ready to strike in case it was someone else, but calmed down the moment he saw Optimus vehicle form. When Optimus transformed he walked towards the two and held out Cliffjumper's horn piece;
"Greetings Sonam, Starscream" he nodded towards the two, Starscream felt a little awkward being near the Prime, but wasn't rude
"Prime", he nodded back, not knowing what else to say.
Sonam gestured for Prime to put the part with the others, while she sat in lotus-mode on the ground and started meditating. The others waited patiently while standing guard for her, in an awkward silence. Until Prime decided to start a conversation with the Seeker;
"I see you have decided to return to the Decepticons Starscream", Optimus said, startling him for a bit
"W-well yes, I admit being on my own had been harder than I had anticipated", Starscream said
Optimus raised an optic ridge at that, "How so?"
"The last time I was scouting for energon, an Insecticon under Araichnid's command attacked me. If it wasn't for Son I would have been off lined or for the matter not been welcomed back to the Decepticons" he admitted lowering his head a little.
Optimus looked at him for a while and said; "I have a question Starscream, if you do not mind to answer"
Starscream raised an optic ridge, while replying; "Depends on the question, what is it you wish to know?"
"Why did you wish to join us back when we found you at the Decepticons ship, a few months ago?" he asked him
Starscream thought for a moment, while he looked away from Optimus; "I guess, is because I felt betrayed"
Optimus looked again thoughtfully, before asking; "Betrayed? What do you mean?"
Starscream looked at him skeptically and lashed out; "Why do you wish to know? What does it concern you?"
"I only wish to know, because I worry and for a small part I hoped you joining us could be a step closer to peace", Optimus says calmly.
Starscream just scoffed; "I don't need your worry, or your pity for that matter. And don't be fooled Prime there is just no way our factions will ever get along after so many cycles of war"
Before either could say anything more a sudden flash caused them to cover their optics, suddenly a chimed sound could be heard and slowly the flash of lights turned into soft sparkles. Both Optimus and Starscream were in a trance and looked in awe as Sonam was floating of the ground and her eyes glowed a soft blue, which suddenly turned white and another flashed came through them. Again both bots covered their optics from blinding themselves and when they could feel the flash fading away, they opened them again to come face to face with their fallen comrades.
Said comrades where astounded themselves as they searched their surroundings. Skyquake and Cliffjumper immediately recognized the area, while Rumble and Frenzy looked around curiously. Sonam was slowly floating to the ground and her eyes stopped glowing, she sighted and looked u to see that it worked. She jumped up in joy and practically tackled the younger once in a tight hug.
"It worked, it really worked! Optimus, Starscream are you seeing this?!" she said excitingly, while holding on to the youngest of the bunch. Said mechs were struggling against her grip and were looking at the others for help. Skyquake and Cliffjumper still looked confused, but Optimus saw their looks and pointed it out to her;
"Uhm…Sonam perhaps it would be best for Rumble and Frenzy to breath better if you let them go now"
Son looked confused and realized what she was doing, quickly letting them go to breath she held her head with one hand and laughed embarrassingly;
"Hihi, woops sorry you two when I get excited about something I usually hug the closest person I know, or in this case closest bots"
Starscream chuckled causing the Skyquake and Cliffjumper to look at him strangely, the twins looked annoyed and Optimus was a little surprised about the tone of the Seeker's laugh. It sounded so innocent and carefree, no hint of deception or cruelty came from the tone. Son noticed Prime's expression and smirked, she was definitely going to have fun with this.
Suddenly they all heard some rubble and shifting from the other side of the caverns, Optimus motioned the others to keep quiet and signaled Cliffjumper to follow him. Starscream grabbed Sonam and held her close ready to fly away of the he needed to, Skyquake and the Twins stood their ground and waited for something to happen. Out of the corner where Optimus and Cliffjumper disappeared into, two Vehicons came out with said mechs pointing their blasters towards them. Son recognized them immediately;
"Steve? Kevin? What are you two doing here?"
Said Vehicon looked up and almost screamed in fright at the sight of the Twins and Skyquake, Starscream looked a little worried. If these two contacted Soundwave all Pit would brake lose.
"We kind of overheard you talking to the Insecticon and followed you and commander Starscream here, we saw everything"
Everybot and human had their optics/eyes widened, Sonam was about to ask them not to reveal anything yet but was stopped by Kevin;
"Do not worry all the Vehicons and Eradicons already know about your mission and we have your back Queen Sonam. We too tire of this war and want to put an end to it and if there is a change we will help without any hesitation"
Son smiled and was about to thank them when suddenly an earth-quick started and they all had to hold on for their lives, however Starscream was stumbling a bit and fell right into Optimus who tried to hold him in place whilst balancing himself. Both bots looked at each other and we're a little flustered at being so closed. However the ground the Autobot leader and Air Commander were standing on collapsed beneath them making them fall down. Starscream tried to fly, but a few boulders hit his wing damaging it a little making them fall even further down under. The last thing they all saw we're the boulders collapsing through the opening and trapping them inside.
*Cough cough cough* you guys okay?" Sonam asked her friends who looked a little scrapped and dented.
"I am alright Sonam, Starscream your wings are they damaged?" Optimus asked the Seeker former
"No, they're fine nothing the internal repairs can't fixed" Starscream replied.
Starscream gently laid his charge down and with Optimus on lined his lights to make sense of their surroundings. Sonam looked up and sighted;
"Looks like going back the way we did isn't going to be an option, we'll have to find another way and soon before the Nemesis goes ballistic again at our disappearance"
Optimus and Starscream nodded, but when Starscream realized what she meant he panicked a little;
"Owh no, Megatron will no doubt blame me if he finds out, that is if he won't sick Soundwave and Shockwave after me first for getting their son's protoforms"
Optimus looked at the panicked Seeker and placed a servo on his shoulder; "That won't happen Starscream not if we work together and get out in time, otherwise you can always lie and say I shot you down while flying about"
Starscream and Sonam looked at Optimus like he grew a second head, but Sonam knew better as she understood that Optimus was a self-sacrificing leader and friend anyone could count on. Obviously anyone who sees that would following him without question, Starscream knew this as well. But his fear for his master and the damage caused by the senate he was reluctant to work with anyone who would follow them.
"Well I won't Prime, like I said earlier I do not need your pity or favors. After everything the previous primes and senates have done to us, to my kind, to me personally! Do you really think I would lower myself as to ask you for help? No I will not! Not after what…he had done!" after saying that Starscream's optics began to leak coolant as the memories of his misery surfaced.
Sonam looked sadden, was it really that bad on Cybertron that the most obvious of actions we're questioned? And what could have happened to Starscream and with whom?
Optimus too looked sadden, but only because he knew the history of what had happened between Starscream and a corrupted Senator from Kaon. He made up his mind and held the Seeker tight in a hug, who froze at the close contact but for some reason it felt comforting something he only got from his brothers and creators once upon a time.
"I know it will probably mean nothing to you, but I do wish for you to know that what Senator Evealon had done to you and your family was wrong and if he we're to show himself ever he along with the other corrupted Senators will receive their trial and punishment!"
Starscream had tears running down his faceplates when Optimus said that, however he was not finished yet;
"As for all those who have been wronged and ignored I will do everything in my power to make amends for my predecessor's mistakes and you all will be treated as our equals just I wanted to do before the war ever started"
Starscream released himself from Prime's hold and stared at him, though reluctant to believe him he still saw in his optics the truth in what he had just told him. Starscream just nodded dumbfounded, suddenly all three heard a humming sound coming from a tunnel just ahead of them;
"Uhm was that tunnel there before?" Sonam asked having the urge to go towards the humming soud
"We should take a look who knows what that might be" Starscream said
Both Starscream and Sonam looked at Optimus, who just nodded and walked ahead. But Starscream picked Sonam up and walked right next to Optimus. After a while the humming sound became louder and what they saw was a stasis pod up ahead.
"A stasis pod?!" Sonam said surprised
"Not just any stasis pod, but a protoform stasis pod" Starscream said running towards the pod, hoping he could help whomever was inside.
Optimus and Sonam both stood next to the Seeker as he typed something on the control panels of the pod, suddenly a beeping sound was heard and the pod started to scan the area. The screen showed that it scanned both Starscream and Optimus and started to work on the protoform inside. When it gave another beeping sound the pod opened and inside was nothing other than a small sparkling. Both mechs we're speechless at the small being inside the pod, the sparkling had a Seeker-built body, but had Optimus's helm and was sporting his color-scheme. Son looked at the sparkling and looked back at the mechs a little fazed about the situation himself;
"Well…that's one way of working together. Hehehe, I believe congratulations are in order?" Sonam said to the still speechless bots, however they just looked annoyed at her
"What?!" she asked innocently
Just then the sparkling started to stir and awake from its nap, it opened its optics and all three saw that it had soft blue optics with very thin red-slits. It looked at the two mechs and whimpered a little; seeing that Starscream's dormant Seeker-programming started to rise up and he immediately took the infant and held him towards his chest near his spark. Sending calming and comforting waves, the sparkling began to settle down. Optimus just looked at him and how he held the young one and for some reason could not help but blush at the sight. Sonam too was a little surprised, but she knew from Starscream and Dreadwing that it was the Seeker's nature to protect sparklings and younglings when they're in distress. Optimus knew that this was going to cause some trouble between the fractions or bring them a little closer considering it was his as well;
"Starscream, Sonam, we have to get out of here it isn't safe for the young one"
"You're right Optimus, Starscream let's go now, the pod isn't useful now" Sonam told the Seeker, who just nodded
"Lead the way you two, I'll be having my servos full with this one here"
The sparkling just made some chirps and clicking sounds, wondering what was going on and who the strange creature was. A few minutes later, while they were walking they suddenly heard a sound from up ahead and sure enough an entrance could be seen. When they all made it out in front of them we're the two Vehicons along with Skyquake, they all looked relieved but then we're surprised of the sparkling in Starscream's servos sporting familiar looking paintjobs.
"Uhm, what happened?" Steve asked pointing at the sparkling who clicked and cooed at them, making the sparks of the cons melt right there.
"A long story guys, but….." Sonam started before the ground began to shake again only this time the shadows amongst them all began to twirl around and grabbed at Sonam.
All the bots present aimed their weapons, while Starscream was trying to contact the Nemesis and protect the sparkling who was whimpering at the sight and screams. Suddenly a sinister laugh could be heard from the dark fortex and it took form of a familiar figure, who some knew too well especially Sonam.
"SILAS?!" she screamed in fear and anger
"Well, well, well this is a turn of events wouldn't you say my dear" he said in a slithering voice near her neck breathing his hot air on her, making her shiver in fright. Tears we're starting to form in her eyes again.
Meanwhile Starscream got a hold on the Nemesis;
On the Nemesis
Everybot was busy doing their duties, though some of the Vehicons looked a little nervous and we're behaving a little odd. This did not go unnoticed by Soundwave and Shockwave, though they we're having problems of their own. Apparently the stasis pods with their sons' body inside had disappeared, causing both of them to search the entire ship as well as looking over any video feeds they might have missed. Which infuriated Soundwave even more, as to how anyone got pass his security he put near his courters when anyone but his deploys or Shockwave entered. Megatron and the other officers we're looking over things as well as keeping a look out for anything suspicious or out of place. Just then the console on the main computer made a beeping sound indicating that some-bot was trying to reach the Nemesis;
"This is Megatron, state your business…" before Megatron could continue Starscream's voice came through with a booming sound in both worry and anger
"Lord Megatron, we're being attack by Silas from MECH and he has Sonam hostage…GHAAAAHHH!"
Megatron immediately took action, he send for Dreadwing, Breakdown and Knockout along with several Vehicons and Eradicons. He ordered Soundwave and Shockwave to monitor the situation and to remain standby if anything we're to go wrong.
At Omega-Outpost One
"Incoming message from Optimus!" Ratchet yelled out at everyone in the room
All the Autobots and their human comrades gathered near the main computer and waited for their orders;
"Autobots I'm engaging battle with Silas, who has Sonam hostage requesting back up immediately!" Optimus ordered
At once the space bridge was activated and set on Optimus's coordinates, Miko was about to join them again when she was held back by Agent Fowler and June. Ratchet smiled at their quick thinking and contacted Wheeljack, who was patrolling with Smokescreen and the recently arrived Ultra Magnus about the situation and told them to stand-by. Fowler was worried when he heard what was going on, he reopened the case concerning Silas and agent Dristi and found out what had happened. He prayed nothing terrible would happen to her daughter, who he saw as a little sister the moment she was born.
Meanwhile on the battle field
Silas had the upper hand when he summoned a few new warriors from his shadows, looking almost identical to the zombie-cons under the influence of dark Energon, however these had dark-green optics and spit out acid, which even made the rocks melt. Now everyone was extra cautious and Starscream was having a difficult time with the sparkling in his arms. Which was whimpering with everything going on out there, he tried to shush the little one but with no luck;
"Please sweetling, everything is going to be alright. You'll see, please calm down so I can help the others" he begged the little one
Just then one of the warriors was about to pounce on him, Starscream immediately out of instinct covered the sparkling in the hopes it would survive but the creature was blasted away from them. He looked up and saw Optimus with the fiercest look he'd ever seen towards the warrior and it now held its attention at him;
"Keep away from them!" Optimus roared and unleashed a furious amounts of blasts at the creature
The sight made Starscream flushed and with a look of amazement he saw in a slow motion fashion how Optimus fought to safe the both of them. He saw another creature going to stab Prime on the back, when he suddenly got fueled with anger and a sense of protection growing in him. He aimed for the creature and with one shot, blasted its head off making it crumble in millions of pieces. Optimus turned around and saw the pieces fly away like dust and looked at Starscream with wide optics, who just shrugged with a stupid grin on his face keeping the sparkling secured in his arms. Optimus nodded his thanks with a small and both continued to defend themselves. Just then helped arrived;
Megatron arrived with Dreadwing and a few Eradicons shooting from above the sky, Knockout and Breakdown along with several Vehicons arrived crashing towards some of the creatures. Knockout immediately got to work on some of the wounded Vehicons who we're injured. Breakdown began smashing and blasting several enemies, but they all kept coming. To make matters worse Arachnid arrived with her army of Insecticons, she ordered an aerial attack and descended on the ground to fight head to head with Optimus. Breakdown wanted to get back at her for wanting to frame Knockout and helped Optimus out by joining the fight, however another Insecticon crashed his sides and started wrestling with him. Before the Insecticon could blow a fatal blast on Breakdown, he was pushed aside by none other than Bulkhead. Breakdown was surprised and even more when the wrecker extended a servo to him. He took it with caution and saw just in time that another Insecticon was going to ram them so he pushed him out of the way and punched the bug-former square in the face, Bulkhead nodded at him and continued to fight along with Arcee, Wheeljack, Smokescreen and Bumblebee.
Sonam was struggling in Silas's grasp whilst trying to summon her powers but she was too drained from restoring the others. Several Vehicons tried to go close to Silas, but he used his powers to pull them down and pinned them there for his soldiers to beat them. Silas had had enough of Sonam's struggling and tightened his hold on her making her scream at the pain. Everyone stopped and looked at her direction. This caught Silas's attention and squeezed her more.
"ENOUGH SURRENDER NOW, OR I'LL CRUSH HER!" he bellowed
Everyone immediately stopped, all the Decepticons in the sky descended with the army of Insecticons and dark-warriors pointing their weapons at them. Megatron was glaring at Silas, who just smirked back triumphantly loosening his hold on Sonam. The girl looked upon her sparkmate with tears in her eyes. All the others went to their respective leaders, subspacing their weapons, but looking hateful at the former human.
"S-s-silas p-p-p-pllease, d-don't hurt them, do with me as you wish" Sonam tried to reason
*Chuckle* "Owh, I intent to my dear, your mother may have escaped me but you make a fine substitute" he whispered in her ears, whilst licking her cheek
She shuddered in disgust and moved her head away from his tongue, seeing this Megatron charged his weapons again. But another Insecticon stopped him, punching him in the gut making him fall on his knees. Sonam cried out, Dreadwing went to help his leader but was stopped when another Insecticon aimed his weapon at him.
"Well you won't have to worry about your friends my dear, I'd be more worried about you" another voice, who Sonam and Optimus both knew spoke out
The figure finally revealed himself and there stood FangBlade, he smirked dangerously at her and showed his fangs. Sonam sneered at him not showing her fear. Suddenly she was whisked away from Silas and into the servos of FangBlade, Silas was surprised and angered and stomped towards him.
"What is the meaning of this?" he asked outraged
"Temper, temper, Silas. I just need to absorb her powers and you may have her any way you please" he told him
"What powers?!" Silas asked surprised with this new information
"Aaah, well since we are all here I might as well tell you all how you will die. You see before Primus and Unicron, there was their own creator who called himself Devourorer. He saw the universe for what it truly was during the many years of creation and destruction. Over time his hunger for power grew and he wanted everything to be under the palm of his hands, so he created us his most powerful warriors. However some of us grew tired of his commands, others began to see a more enlightened way of live and developed new powers of their own. Such as your Primus did. Along with Unicron, the two of them formed an army of their own and with such unthinkable power defeated him. However over time, he regained what little power he had left and created the lot of us once again. Only this time he made sure we remain loyal to him alone, but isn't foolish. He knows that Primus knew of him coming back and sent out a piece of his spark, the very power that could destroy him into distant space and time away from our sight. While we fed of your petty fights, corruption and eventually your war, we became stronger" he paused for a moment noting how terrified everyone began to be
"So you see, I should be thanking you all. Not only have you all helped my master with giving him enough power by your pitiful actions to make Primus look like a deadbeat of a planet. But you all helped me with finding the one thing that could end us all. HER!" he bellowed
With that he started to squeeze Sonam even harder, making her scream in agony. Everyone looked helpless, until they saw something coming out of the sky. Like an eagle preparing to attack its prey, a woman flew and swung her sword at the servo holding the girl. The woman held Sonam and as fast as lighting sprinted towards the group of stunned bots and cons. The Autobots recognized her immediately and pointed their blasters towards their enemy who crunched in pain. Arachnid and Silas commanded their army to attack again, but the Insecticons were struggling in the air and on the ground. Suddenly everyone heard a melodic sound coming from above them. Looking up they all saw a femme with bug-like features similar to an actual bumblebee, however this particular one had a much larger abdomen and optics were pink-rose colored. All the Insecticons were finally calming down and looked at the femme above them, who in turn started humming and pointing at Arachnid, Silas and FangBlade. The Insecticons immediately pointed their weapons and talons at them and were about to attack when suddenly they disappeared again. Once again the others were stumped at what happened, Megatron suddenly remembered Sonam being saved and looked down to where the two human females were. To his surprise the other one looked almost identical to her except for the middle-aged features she was sporting and the scar on her face. Sonam was whimpering from the pain, but when she could look properly her eyes widened. In front of her finally holding her after many years, was none other than her own mother; Dristi.
"Sweetheart are you alright my little Starshine?" Dristi asked with worry
All Sonam could do was as quickly as possible, forgetting the pain through her almost crushed body was lung herself closer to her mother and hug her tightly as if she would disappear of she let go.
"MAMA!" Sonam yelled and started crying
Dristi held her daughter with all her might tears streaming from her own eyes. After all these years of keeping her distant, she can finally hold her baby girl again. Every bot and con there could only stare at the tender moment, not even Megatron who wanted to hold her as soon as possible didn't dare break them up.
*sniff sniff* "It's a kamikaze moment as the Earth saying goes" somebot suddenly spoke up
All the Autobots and some Decepticons suddenly stood still, while their own Energon froze in their bodies. That voice sounded familiar, too familiar to be true that they heard it. Every bot looked around and from a corner there came the very bots and cons they all thought to have died. First was Cliffjumper, who grinned at the sight of his old comrades. Next was Skyquake who gave a friendly smile at his brother when they met optic to optic and the final two who came out were two younglings, one with a familiar looking visor like Soundwave's.
"Hey there Everybot, missed me?" Cliffjumper asked
Still every bot and con just looked amazed and if it was possible all looked like their mouth plates could hit the ground. Starscream and Optimus were enjoying the sight of their comrades in such a state. All of a sudden a blue blur ran across the field and Cliffjumper was knocked of his pedes. He just laughed and looked up at Arcee as she kept on hitting him with her fist and telling him what an idiot he was for dying on them like that.
"Hehehehe, missed you too Cee, honest sorry for causing you such grief" Cliffjumper said patting her back and helping the both of them up
Skyquake went over to his brother and waved his servo in front of him, Dreadwing shook his head and took the servo within his own.
"I-i-is it really you brother?" he asked almost in grief of not believing what he is seeing
Skyquake just stood still and reopened the bond between him and his twin. Feeling the familiar rays of his brother's spark he lunged himself to his brother and hugged him with all his might. Skyquake just chuckled and returned the hug.
"Yes, brother I'm back and better than ever" Skyquake said
"But how?" Dreadwing asked
"Thanks to young Miss Sonam…" Skyquake started but stopped when he heard her whimpering
Everyone looked down and saw how her skin was shattering in millions of pieces and shaded off of her. Showing in the place blue Energon and a bit of it leaking in certain places. Her mother held her even closer and looked up at the femme-bug.
"Queen Bee we have to act now, its time!" Dristi said to her
The one now known as Queen Bee nodded and hummed a melody once again making the Insecticon pay attention and formed a circle around all those present. They all joined servos and began to hum as well, suddenly the field started shaking and electricity could be spotted coming from the joined servos.
"EVERONE HANG ON TO EACH OTHER AND TRUST US!" Dristi yelled out before they all vanished into thin air.
Wonder where they all went? Can you guess it?
I'm already working on the next chapter, hopefully I'll have it done sooner than this one.
