This is sort of inspired by an experience I had in high school. I never quite fit in with my peers for various reasons.
He stared up at the four-story brick building with nervouseness. Transferring schools was one thing if moving to a new city or state but another country was a big deal. The boy had counted his blessings that his cousin attended the school despite being an upperclassmen.
