Hello, everybody. It's been a long time.

Here's the long and short of it – I'm still working on Dust to Dust. On and off for the past few years I edged it forward, but in the last year or so I went back, sat down and completely edited it through. I fixed mistakes, smoothed over inconsistencies, and tried to add more content, more story. More to detail how I really want to tell Dust's story.

This version isn't finished yet, but I finally have more of a plan and a direction I want to head, and I'm really pleased with how the rewrite has come out (Third time's the charm?)

First of all, I want to thank every single one of you for reading, commenting, offering ideas and critiques and just ever ounce of support you've shared over the years. I'll always, always be grateful, and there's no way I can thank you enough. But, by telling and hopefully finishing Dust's story, I can try.

Now, I have a question for you all. The rewrite's core story is mostly the same as the original. However, the rewritten version has a lot more to tell, so if I publish chapters while also working on where I'm at, I can show you all what I've tried to do.

I've already started publishing the new chapters once a week on another fanfiction site. However, I want to do something here, too. I'm just not sure what. That's why I want to ask; what would you guys prefer? Should I delete the chapters here in this story and start republishing them with the rewritten version to leave the old (much loved) reviews? Should I delete this older version of the story entirely? Should I replace all the current chapters in the next few days and catch you up to approximately where you were before, at the expense of slower posting of new chapters?

I owe so much of my inspiration to you guys, so I want to know what y'all think. And, once again, I can't thank you enough. To those who may be frustrated or fed up with the wait and changes, I'm sincerely sorry, and I hope I can do right by you guys by doing this.
